Celebrity stylist Misa Hylton was celebrated as a visionary who helped mesh Hip Hop and fashion during its humble beginnings.

Luxury lifestyle goods and accessories brand, MCM, hosted the world premiere of "The Remix: Hip Hop X Fashion" documentary at Tribeca Film Festival in NYC recently.

The film traces the origins of fearless, full-color Hip Hop style and explores the women and male allies who have transformed fashion through Hip Hop, according to the press release. From the Bronx to the runways of Paris, the film leads with the journey of renowned fashion architect and new Global Creative Partner at MCM, Misa Hylton, as one of the first stylists to meld streetwear with haute couture. The film delves into Hylton's most recognized fashion looks with her muses including Lil' Kim, Mary J. Blige and Missy Elliott. Furthermore, the documentary reveals the global cultural impact influenced by the fashion world with iconic fashion trends and styles from female designers and stylists working behind the scenes.

"I wanted to be involved in The Remix because it's a woman's story. They wanted to show the powerful part that women have played in the intersection of style and music, specifically hip-hop," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "Because you always hear the boys' stories and all the men who've contributed. But for me to get an opportunity to share my story was really dope."

Everyone rolled through in their hottest MCM ensembles for the celebration, including the lady of the hour. Misa rocked custom MCM which she paired with Malone Soulier heels.

Fashion designer Dapper Dan came out to show support, posing it up alongside Misa and her daughter Madison Star, also decked out in MCM.

Steve Harvey allegedly made some moves that have sparked divorce rumors. And it doesn't help that "sources" are also spilling tea about the TV personality's marriage to Marjorie Harvey. Is Steve Harvey getting a divorce from his wife of 12 years Marjorie Harvey? That's what the rumor mill is saying.

RadarOnline is making claims that Steve and Marjorie are on the brink of divorce, but take it with a grain of salt since they have been known to make claims that turn out to not be true. However, usually where there's smoke, there's fire.

The site reports the TV/radio host is on a "hush-hush mission to liquidate assets" before an alleged divorce battle.

The "Family Feud" host - who is twice divorced - allegedly put four homes he owns in Texas up for sale since January 2019. So far, he has been able to sell two of them for an estimated $2 million. It's also alleged Steve significantly lowered the price of one of the homes to get it off his hands. Sounds like he's trying to get it off his hands quickly.

All of the properties allegedly just name Steve as the owner and Marjorie's name is nowhere in the paperwork. Sources tell the sale he transferred ownership of another Texas property from his and his wife's name into just his own name. Oh?

“Steve learned a lesson from his drawn-out divorce from [second wife] Mary. It took him years to get their properties into his name,” tattled a source.

You'll recall, Steve left his then-pregnant wife Marcia in 1990 before shacking up with Mary Shackelford, whom he eventually married and divorced. They called it quits in 1996. Steve & Marjorie tied the knot in 2007.

The site claims Steve is struggling to afford the lavish lifestyle his family has grown accustomed to after NBCUniversal decided to axe his daytime talk show.

“Steve is desperate to stay on television. He supports all six of their children in fine style and Marjorie is blowing through his cash," the source spills.

It's alleged Steve & Marjorie got into a heated discussion that resulted in her storming out, booking some flights, and traveling across the globe with her daughter, Lori Harvey.

The mother-daughter duo blew threw a few bags on their month-long excursion as they made stops in Japan, Vietnam, the Maldives, Tanzania and Russia.

IF divorce talk is going on in the Harvey household, Steve is in trouble when it comes to fiances. The 62-year-old admitted earlier this year he didn't make his 54-year-old wife sign a prenup:

“Before Marjorie, I had nothing. But when I married her, I had something. We didn’t do a prenup because I knew she was the chick," Steve said on his daytime talk show back in January. Check it at the 3:05 minute mark above.

What divorce?

Meanwhile, there's more drama brewing.

Marjorie's drug kingpin ex-husband Jim Townsend is reportedly gearing up to release a memoir and he's supposedly going to expose all of his and Marjorie's "explosive secrets." Dude said he's telling his story whether Marjorie likes it or not. Oop.

“I wrote two-thirds of the book in prison,” Jim Townsend tells RadarOnline. “I have no allegiance to Marjorie, she showed her hand. I’m going…tell my story. It don’t matter [if she knows about it].”

Sounds like it's going to be juicy. At first, Townsend said he had "reservations" about airing out his dirty laundry because of his kids, but ultimately decided to move forward with the project.

Before Townsend was thrown in jail, it's reported the FBI and DEA were investigating whether or not Marjorie had any involvement in Townsend's drug activities. If he didn't cooperate with the feds, they threatened to have Marjorie thrown in jail, so he cooperated to keep her safe. By the way, he is not the father of Marjorie's daughter Lori Harvey. His name is Donnell Woods.

Townsend ended up receiving life in prison for allegedly attemping to purchase 40 kilos of cocaine. Marjorie divorced him less than 5 years into his sentence. After serving 26 years behind bars, President Barack Obama pardoned him due to how excessive his sentence was for a non-violent drug offense.

Sounds like we'll be adding this book to our list of must-reads.

Remy Ma's legal team is speaking out after the rapper turned herself into police over alleged assault claims made by Remy's "Love & Hip Hop" co-star Brittney Taylor. More inside

Less than a week after Remy Ma turned herself into police, the rapper's legal team is speaking out to address the assault claims made by "Love & Hip Hop" star Brittney "Bri" Taylor.

As you know, Brittney claims Remy gave her ablack eye backstage at Irving Plaza in New York City, where Remy Ma was scheduled to perform for a cancer benefit concert. Once the police started investigating, Remy was spotted wearing an ankle monitor around her ankle.

On May 1st, she voluntarily turned herself into police and was promptly released on a $1500 cash bail with a pending charge of a misdemeanor. The judge ordered a protective order, which means Remy can not have any contact with Bri. The judge also set an 8pm curfew for Rem. Remy's lawyers - New York Criminal Lawyer Dawn Florio and her legal consultant/New York Civil Rights Lawyer Eric Sanders - claim there's credible evidence that the assault accusation is nothing more than an attempt at a quick money come-up.

In a statement sent to us, Remy's legal team explains:

In addition to the fact that Taylor bypassed numerous police officers that were on the scene to post allegations on her Instagram page and hired a civil lawyer, who is known for high profile lawsuits, both of Remy’s lawyers assert there's credible evidence to support that this is a baseless case and nothing more than a money grab attempt.

As police investigated, Bri started building her own civil case against the rapper, asking Irving Plaza and the NYPD to hold on to any video footage, photos, investigative reports, and any other evidence in connection to her alleged physical altercation with Remy.

Florio pointed out that Bri made claims that the attack went down at 9:30pm, however, she said she has video proof that Remy was at home at that time.

The statement continues: 

Meanwhile, Remy remains focused on her family and taking care of her 4-month old daughter with her husband of 11 years, her new music being released and her clothing line ”Remy Ma By Vim Vixen” where each purchase drives her philanthropic efforts to support women & children impacted by incarceration, assisting with family reunification and career development for released women through The Remy Ma Foundation.

Remy’s only request is that her family be respected and she personally thanks all the fans fortheir unwavering love and support.

The "All The Way Up" rapper is still on parole and has approximately 85 days of supervision left of her 5-year post-release sentence. Her team argues that for the past 4 years and 9 months, Remy has been a model citizen by maintaining employment, completing all mandatory programs, staying drug free, adhering to all rules and has never even had a curfew violation.

Diana Ross took to Twitter to express how she felt violated by a TSA agent in New Orleans. More inside...

Being Diana Ross clearly doesn't give you a pass when it comes to getting through airport security.

The legendary singer jetted to New Orleans to perform for Jazz Fest (pictured above). After her performance, she was set to hop on a flight out of Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. And her experience was not a pleasant one. In a series of tweets, the living legend revealed she felt "violated" by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent. She said she left with "mixed emotions" and that she wanted to cry.

"OK so on one hand I’m treated like royalty in New Orleans and at the airport I was treated like shit," she tweeted.

"Its not what was done but how , I am feeling violated - I still feel her hands between my legs , front and back ( saying to me it her job ,) WOW!!really mixed emotions I always like to see the good things but not feeling good right now," she continued.

TSA issued a statement addressing the incident, saying the agent followed protocol, but they're going to investigate:

“TSA is committed to ensuring all travelers are treated with respect and courtesy. TSA is aware of concerns presented by Diana Ross about her screening experience at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport this morning. "Initial review of CCTV indicates that the officers involved with Ms. Ross’s screening correctly followed all protocols, however, TSA leadership will continue to investigate the matter further. We encourage Ms. Ross to reach out to TSA so we can work with her directly to address her concerns.”

Baby Sussex has arrived! New dad Duke Harry is beaming all over the place with pride and new mommy, Duchess Meghan, is doing perfectly fine.  The first details, and Harry's first chat with media, about the Royal Couple's first child inside!

He's here!  Yup, it's a BOY for the Duke & Duchess of Sussex!

Baby Sussex was born early Monday morning, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace, and the news came just minutes after the Palace confirmed Meghan was in labor.  The new Royal Baby is the seventh in line to the British throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William and his three children and Prince Harry.

Meghan gave birth at 5.26am and that the baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. Meghan's mother Doriais reportedly also now at Frogmore Cottage with the couple and the palace announced that "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news."

Chris Brown threw a huge party to celebrate his 30th birthday. However, one woman possibly overdosed at the bash. Get the details inside...

Chris Brown hit a milestone birthday yesterday. The R&B singer turned 30 on Cinco de Mayo, so he decided to throw a party and ended up (kinda) inviting all 53 million of his Instagram followers. He posted a flyer about the party telling partygoers to pull up:

There was no address provided, so we guess you got in if you found a way to figure out where it was.

Breezy's bash went down at Sky High Sports - trampoline center - in Wooland Hills, CA where celebs like Nelly and O.T.Genasis attended. He shut the venue down for the private party.

What was supposed to be a night filled with fun, turned into a night of hell.  At least for one partygoer.  According to The Blast, one woman was rushed to the hospital for a possible drug overdose. Lordt!

Law enforcement sources tell the site the L.A. City Fire Department got a call at 11:56 PM indicating a possible overdose. One woman was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, and her status is currently unclear.

LAPD officers also came to the scene of Breezy's bash to investigate the circumstances of the incident. When the cops pulled up, folks began leaving. It's reported the Grammy Award winning singer was seen leaving the party in a Rolls Royce after the ambulance came to transport the woman to the hospital.

As of the time of this post, Breezy has yet to comment on the situation.

After the criticism started rolling in, Virgil seemingly responded via his IG Stories, posting pictures of black designers he has helped (still not any that he employs) throughout his career:

Over the years, people have also accused Virgil of stealing smaller black and/or streetwear designers' creations with zero credit.  The rumors spurn several articles questioning if he's copying, or if he's simply "sampling" and being "inspired."  In a cover story for another mainstream publication, The New Yorker, Virgil addressed these claims saying since he started out as a DJ, he has always incorporated "sampling" into his art.

He recently issued an official statement to Hypebeast - a mainstream publication - regarding his "diverse" team of art directors:

"My design team is diverse as the world is big. The video shown was an Off-White™ dinner at the headquarters in the city of Milan, Italy. This party was to celebrate the hard work of the local Italian team."

A representative for Off-White also provided a statement:

"When questioned about diversity, Virgil Abloh takes pride in being African and American. His design team is diverse, and his practice has been built on making the art and design industry an inclusive community. Fellow designers like Samuel Ross, Heron Preston, No Vacancy Inn — by Tremaine Emory and Acyde Odunlami, Everard Best, Photographer Fabien Montique, amongst many others have been given a platform via Off-White™. These are just a few of the many global voices and people sitting at the table and helping evolve the brand. Off-White™ is a black founded and owned business. He wishes to use this moment of being questioned to be a moment of reflection within the industry to showcase the talents behind their design entities and push to have a design community that represents the outside world."

This drama also comes on the heels of the designer getting dragged for statements he made in The New Yorker about his Michael Jackson-inspired Fall 2019 menswear collection for Louis Vuitton. The runway show coincided with the wide release of "Leaving Neverland."

Today at Angelus Funeral Home on Crenshaw Blvd., L.A.'s own John Singleton was laid to rest in a private funeral service.  Service goers described it as "beautiful" and a service fit for a true trailblazer.

The 51-year-old director & producer shockingly died a week ago after being on life support and in a coma for several days.  The Oscar nominee went tot he hospital after a trip to Costa Rica with complaints of leg pain, and he then suffered a stroke.

The extremely sad death led to an outpouring of love and remembrance from Hollywood, his family, friends, and loved ones, man of which revealed how John not only gave them the lives they have now due to opportunities he created for black creators, but also inspired them to live out their dreams.

Those very people were in attendance to pay their respects to the legend himself:

Fellow successful directors Ryan Coogler and F. Gary Gray were seen paying their respects to the man who paved the way for them in the field.

Tyrese, whose breakout role in Baby Boy and later projects were at the hands of John, was there for his longtime close friend.

Tyrese's co-star Ving Rhames also was spotted arriving.

Boyz n the Hood stars Morris Chestnut and Ice Cube, along with their wives Pam and Kimberley (respectively), were there for the man who gave them their breakout movie roles as well and who was a brother to them throughout the years.

Their co-star and long time friend Nia Long also was spotted arriving.

Representative Maxine Waters came out for her long time constituent and friend.

John's eldest daughter, Justice Maya Singleton, was spotted greeting guests.

Ludacris, who starred in 2 Fast 2 Furious, directed by John, made his arrival.

NFL legend Jim Brown was there, along with Hollywood legend & costume designer Ruth E. Carter who worked with John on Shaft, Four Brothers& Rosewood.

Tina Lawson and Richard Lawson (who also starred in Shaft) were seen arriving, and so was legendary Stevie Wonder.

This year's Met Gala theme, CAMP: Notes on Fashion, is all about over-the-top dramatics. And actor Billy Porter made sure to come through with all the extraness. Go big, or stay home. Remember that tuxedo dress he rocked at the Oscars?

The Broadway and "Pose" star made sure to solidify his spot as King of the Carpet as he rolled up on the carpet at the 2019 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala drenched in gold, including gold Giuseppe Zanotti boots, while being carried by six shirtless men, also dressed in gold.

Billy rocked a custom "Sun God" concoction by The Blonds, which included a bejeweled catsuit that featured 10-foot wings. He topped it off with a 24-karat gold headpiece and custom gold glitter ‘Atlanta’ boots by Giuseppe Zanotti.

“Camp means irreverence,” Billy Porter told Variety. “Camp means as hugely over-the-top and grand and what some may feel is ridiculous and silly, and embracing all of those creative impulses inside us that very often are squelched.”

The bold and the beautiful!

Yara Shahidi's Camp style for the 2019 Met Gala was a bold look she pulled off perfectly.

For the 19-year-old's second Met Gala appearance, the "Grown-ish" actress served up 50 vibes in an embellished bodysuit with gold metallic designs, which she paired with edgy metallic leggings. The leggings were a nod to her Catholic school days. The hair piece set off her vintage vibe as she gave us a whole LEWK down the carpet.

On the carpet, she shared Black Excellence was the inspiration she pulled from to pull off this custom Prada look.

"We had such a lovey time coming up with it," Yara explained to E!. "Initially, we came up with the idea of a 50s swimsuit format with a little bit of a feather. A moment. Leggings, because I have to rep the Catholic school girl in me. Honestly, it was just like - if you saw the inspiration, it was just, Black Excellence, and that's what I was trying to pull from. I'm really grateful. When I saw Camp - I'm really grateful to be able to have a lineage of cultural space makers to pull from."

Nailed it.

Serena Williams was a whole mood when she rolled up on the pink carpet at the 2019 Met Gala.

The tennis superstar opted to bring the dramatics with her dress, but kept it comfortable and fashion forward by rocking matching neon sneakers. The Met Gala co-chair/co-host wore a custom neon yellow Atelier Versace gown decorated with pink feathery leaf appliqué with a train. She finished her look with Virgil Abloh's Volt Off-White x Air Force 1 sneakers.

Rena's look was on theme for Camp with the bright, bold color and extra appliqués.

Not our fave silhouette on her, but we love the aesthetic she was going for.

She was joined by her husband Alexis Ohanian, who kept it classic in black-and-white. On the carpet, Alexis told PEOPLE he’s a “proud husband tonight." Aww.

The last time Serena hit the Met Gala carpet, she was pregnant with her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

Little Olympia was right up under mom as she got glammed up for tonight's event. Serena shared cute clips of her and Olympia watching Beauty and the Beast together as she got ready.

Janelle's stylist Alexandra Mandelkorntold The Hollywood Reporter he wanted to "highlight the playful, theatrical and artistic side of camp. "

It fits in with the theme by being over the top in just the right ways and not taking itself too seriously! This look is all about having fun and going over the top, while still being chic and beautiful," Mandelkorn added. "From the crystal detailing, the black trimming, to the silhouette and the incredible hat sculpture — every bit matters! But I do have to say the blinking eye really makes me smile."

Leave it to Tiffany Haddish to do something crazy! She pulled up to the 2019 Met Gala with fried chicken in her bag! More inside....

After hitting the Met Gala for the first time last year, Tiffany Haddish came prepared for this year's big event. Chick brought her own bag of fried chicken that she stuffed in her clutch.  And that gimmick saved this because it's not a look we're loving.

The Night School actress dubbed herself as "Pimperella" when she hit the pink carpet in a sparkly silver and black Michael Kors pantsuit topped with a black glitter top hat. She accessorized her look with Butani earrings and rings by Djula and Hueb. She was turned up on the carpet last year and this year wasn't anything different.

“Last year I came… it was not enough food, you feel me?” the comedienne said.“I was hungry, and when I’m hungry my attitude is not good. So I said, ‘I’m gonna be prepared this year,' so I brought chicken.”

And no, she didn't buy this chicken. She cooked it before hitting the carpet.

“No I didn’t go to KFC,” she told PEOPLE. “We don’t worry about it. See, Tiffany knows how to cook. I don’t know if you know this but I have my own seasoning salt.”

I kind of feel like Patti LeBelle, but on some pimp stuff.”

She has ARRIVED.  Cardi B.'s year two Met Gala entrance was just as dramatic, if not more, than year one's. Get into her bloody couture inside.

After giving us major train last Met Gala, Cardi B. brought it once again to the Metropolotian Museum of Art pink carpet.  This time, though, she rolled solo without her husband Offset.  He probably would have been overshadowed anyway thanks to all this dress.   If Cruella de Vil's fave color was red, this is what we would be given.

Cardi wore a massive plush fabric, oxblood fitted gown and accentuated hips with the longest train overlay that had a hem made of several rows of feathers.  The Thom Browne creation was so massive that it reportedly took 29 people to get her and the dress down the carpet.

The train wasn't the only dramatic part.  The dress had embellished nipples and an embellished butt:

Nicki Minaj rocked head to toe (literally) pink for this year's Met Gala with a perfectly glam'd face.

The "Good Form" rapper rocked a powder pink high-low Prabal Gurung gown that featured a billowing train with pink wiggery and pink nails.

Her shoes pulled her whole Barbie look together too. She rocked pink strappy thigh-high sandals that featured a thin stiletto heel. They were created by Aurora James of Brother Vellies, a black designer from Brooklyn.

The "Barbie Tingz" has been keeping a pretty low profile lately. We expected way more dramatics from her for the Camp theme, but she seemingly toned things down a bit this year. She gave her Barbs some ruffled wow though.

Kanye West escorted his wife he adores down the pink carpet at the 2019 Met Gala as she posed it up - dripping" wet" - in Mugler, the first new design from the designer in 20 years. Meanwhile, the Yandhi rapper kept it super simple in all black.  Bascially a jumpsuit.

As the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star made her press stops, 'Ye looked like he would rather be anywhere else in the world then where he was.
