Chris Paul just made the biggest donation ever to his alma mater Wake Forest University's athletic department. Meanwhile, LeBron James is singing praises to the highest of heavens caping for black women like never before. Everything inside...

LeBron James and Kevin Hart aren't the only ones pouring back into their communities.

Throughout the years, NBA player Chris Paul has always been one to give back. And his most recent donation just went down in Wake Forest University's history.

The Houston Rockets point guard is donating $2.5 million to Wake Forest Basketball, making it the largest donation ever by a former basketball student, athlete or any alumnus under the age of 35.

The 33-year-old North Carolina native's gift will help transform the men’s and women’s basketball clubhouses with expanded and enhanced locker rooms, nutrition resources and treatment areas. The new Chris Paul Locker Room for the men’s team will be named in his honor

“Giving back has always been important to my family and me, and Wake Forest is part of my family,” the father of-two said of his most recent gift to support the Wake Will Lead campaign.

“The recent investments towards improving Wake Forest Athletics are amazing, and now is the time to give back in a meaningful way. The locker room transformation project inspired me, because that’s where players build relationships and create a unifying camaraderie that is the foundation of success on the court. Forming lifelong friendships with your teammates is one of the most rewarding aspects of sports,” he said.

Paul and Wake Forest Director of Athletics Ron Wellman teamed up to make the announcement at the Chris Paul Family Foundation Charity Golf Classic in Winston-Salem (above) before a crowd that included nearly two dozen former Wake Forest basketball student-athletes and coaches.

His philanthropic impact on the Winston-Salem area also includes an endowment for scholarships at Wake Forest. In 2007, Paul established the Nathaniel Jones Student Scholarship in memory of his grandfather and mentor, which awards two scholarships (one athletic and one academic) annually to deserving students, with a preference for those from Forsyth County.

In 2013, Wake Forest retired Paul's No. 3 jersey, which now hangs in the rafters of Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

NICE!

Speaking of celebs doing the most in a GOOD way...

Black women are taking over the magazine circuit with September covers for several of THE top fashion magazines, including Beyonce's VOGUE cover, Rihanna's history making British VOGUEand Lupita Nyong'o for Net-A-Porter, to name a few. It's been LONG overdue and it's nice to see a BLACK MAN recognizes the significance of celebrating positive and powerful black womenin mainstream media. And gave zero f**** about who would be mad (because y'all know there are some angry Beckys in his comments).

LeBron James hopped on social media to sing praises to the highest of heavens for this celebration of women of color. Being a dad to a young, black girl, it matters even more to him that black women are being shown in a positive way.

"Nothing in this world more POWERFUL than Colored Women!! Thank you all for continuing to not settle and setting great examples in life for so many looking up to you for inspiration/guidance and love!! My daughter is watching! #WomenPower," he captioned in an IG posts that featured several fashion magazine covers of black women, that also included Issa Rae, Tiffany Haddish, Tracee Ellis Ross and more.
