Kerry Washington, Naomi Campbell, Tamia Hil, Grant Hill and several others were dressed to impress at the LACMA Art + Film gala. Meanwhile, Issa Rae and the “Insecure” cast hit up a Planned Parenthood event. Flicks inside…
Hollywood’s “IT” crowd came out in full force to honor Mark Bradford And George Lucas at LACMA’s 2017 Art+Film Gala last night. The art, film, fashion and entertainment joined forces for a night of fun for the 7th annual event, presented by Gucci.
And since Gucci was sponsoring the event, it was only right Kerry Washington rock a gown custom made just for her from the luxury label’s collection. The “Scandal” star wowed in the green and black number. Definitely a fashion risk, but she wore it well.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell is known to slay a red carpet and her latest was no different. The runway slayer’s dress didn’t have a lot od dramatic components, but its simplicity is what made it so fierce.
The 47-year-old stunna posed it up in a yellow one-shouldered Atelier Versace gown with light feathers.
During the soiree, Naomi and Kerry linked up for a photo-op.
Usher, who's still going through that herpes lawsuit situation, is still making his rounds and hitting up events.
This is the type of look only Zoe Saldana can pull off.
The Avatar actress also rocked custom Gucci on the carpet.
Zoe's husband Marco Perego was right by her side.
"Empire" and "STAR" creator Lee Daniels popped up on the scene after honoring his friend Mariah Carey at her Hollywood hand & footprint ceremony.
Relationship GOALS AF! Tamia& Grant Hill rolled up on the scene looking like two bags of money.
This is one good looking couple.
Filmmaker George Lucas brought his wife Mellody Hobson as his date for the evening. He was one of the honorees of the evening.
At another event...
Push through queen!
“Insecure” star and creator Issa Rae was a female force in florals at the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County's Politics, Sex, & Cocktails event held at NeueHouse Hollywood. The YBF actress kept it fierce in a floral silk chiffon Prabal Gurung dress, styled by Jason Rembert, as she was all smiles on the carpet.
Issa's co-stars Yvonne Orji (also serving floral fab) and Natasha Rothwell came out to show their support and to have a good time.
The 32-year-old actress, who has a history with Planned Parenthood, also spoke during the event.
By the way, the cast is currently working on season 3 of "Insecure" so get ready for that.
