Solange and Jennifer Hudson are slaying in these NYC streets. Peep pics of Solo dazzling in a green wrap dress for the Pencils of Promise event and JHud serving sophisticated fab for a TV appearance inside….
This fashionista has us green with envy…but in a good way.
Last night, Solange stepped out to the Pencils Of Promise x Stuart Weitzman partnership launch in an emerald green silk wrap dress accessorized with a M2Malletier textured leather bag and the new limited-edition yellow suede Stuart Weitzman sandals.
The 29-year-old stunna came out to show support for the organization whose main goal is to support children’s education in developing countries.
Solo’s no stranger to rallying for education. She recently joined forces with Kiehl’s to help support education and empowerment programs for children with a limited-edition version of the Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate.
Another YBF chick down the cause....
Supermodel Joan Smalls rolled up to the event rocking the limited-edition yellow suede Stuart Weitzman sandals. The Victoria’s Secret angel let her yellow sandals shine as she rocked a navy zip-up midi dress.
Joan's supermodel friends Gigi Hadid, also rocking the yellow Stuart Weitzman sandals, and Bella Hadid joined her on the carpet where they had some fun snapping pics together.
Elsewhere in NYC....
Come through queen!
Grammy Award winning singer Jennifer Hudson was pure perfection as she made her way to "The Daily Show" with Trevor Noah for a late night TV appearance. She amped up a simple LBD with a printed trench coat that we're obsessing over.
The Confirmation star sat down with Trevor to chop it up about her role as Angela Wright in the upcoming HBO film.
With "American Idol" wrapping up its last and final season, JHud reflected on first appearing on the singing competition show 12 years ago and how she felt about the finale season. The Oscar winner also dished on what it was like playing Shug Avery in the Broadway play "The Color Purple."
By the way, JHud wraps up her role as Shug on May 8th. Tony and Grammy Award Winner Heather Headley will join the cast as Shug starting May 10th.
Peep her interview below:
Confirmation, also starring Kerry Washington, premieres April 16th on HBO.
