It’s hard to believe 20 years ago Faith Evans made her debut on the music scene with her first single “You Used To Love Me.” The track is a classic and we STILL bump that ish 20 years later.
Over the weekend, the R&B Diva celebrated her 20th anniversary in the music industry and her Grammy nomination for her track, “He Is.” The song was nominated in the Best Traditional R&B Performance category. While she didn’t win the Grammy, she had fun partying with her celeb friends at The Sayers Club in Hollywood.
Her friend and fellow R&B Diva Kelly Price was also in the mix to party with her friend. Faith and Kelly was busy hitting up several events during Grammy Weekend.
Still hanging on to his 15 minutes of fame, Patti LaBelle superfan James Chanel Wright (left) got an invite to the shindig.
Legendary raptress MC Lyte came out to celebrate with her longtime friend. She hit the carpet alongside author/entertainment exec Lynn Richardson. In music news, Faith lent her vocals on MC Lyte's track "Last Time" off of her 2015 album Legend. Always nice to have friends who are talented.
Fresh from celebrating 16 years of marriage, the "Flex& Shanice" reality show stars came out to celebrate with Faith. Looking good!
Soul singer Lalah Hathaway popped up on the carpet rocking her purple tipped locs and a super comfy outfit. Lalah was the one who beat Faith in the Best Traditional R&B Performance category for her single "Little Ghetto Boy.”
When friends link up! Besties Amber Riley and Jordin Sparks couldn't stop smiling as they caught up with one another.
The "Glee" star was also celebrating her 30th birthday. Jordin wished her a Happy Birthday with a sweet social media message saying, "Happy birthday to a real one!! @msamberpriley!!!! R&B crooner Anthony Hamilton, who filed from divorce from his wife over the summer, stepped out in his Cowboy-inspired ensemble to party.
