In incredibly sad news, "Young & The Restless" star Kristoff St. John has passed away. He was 52. Details inside...

Kristoff St. John, the 52-year-old actor who rose to fame as Neil Winters on the "Young & The Resltess," was pronounced dead yesterday inside his home.

According to TMZ, a friend of the actor went to his home in San Fernando Valley yesterday to check on him and found his body. Police and paramedics responded to the call and he was pronounced dead on the scene. Reportedly, there was no sign of foul play, however, a source tells TMZ alcohol may have played a role.

The EMMY nominated actor has a troubled history with suicide. His son, Julian St. John - whom he shares with his ex-wife/WBC champ Mia St. John - took his own life in 2014. He suffered mental illness and killed himself inside of a mental health facility. Kristoff and Mia sued the facility for negligence. The suit was eventually settled. After their son's death, they both founded the El Saber es Poder (Knowledge is Power) Foundation to battle mental illness.

It's reported Mia posted and deleted a tribute to Kristoff on social media, where she wrote, "THAT HOSPITAL KILLED OUR SON @TheArtofJulian THEN MY HUSBAND @kristoffstjohn1. THATS WHAT HAPPENED! THEY KILLED MY FAMILY"

In October 2017 (on the anniversary of his son's suicide), it was reported Kristoff was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation after he allegedly threatened to kill himself with a gun.

Kristoff brought in the New Year with his girlfriend:

She posted a message on social media trying to wrap her head around the fact he's gone:

Celebs are shocked by the news of his death. Actors Dondre T. Whitfield and Yvette Nicole Brown posted tributes:

I am still trying to process the news that this dear, dear man is gone. Forgive me if what I say here doesn’t come together just right, but I have to say something about @kristoffstjohn. He deserves as loving a tribute as my early morning sadness can muster. #KristoffStJohn was love. Just pure and simple: love. He was the kind of person you meet who you feel like you’ve known your entire life. He had a gift for making people feel instantly at ease. He could immediately diffuse any nervousness you had. In my case, I was a ball of nerves because I was playing my first role on a soap opera ever...on #YandR which happened to be one of my FAVORITE soap operas...AND I was meeting HIM, who I had been a fan of most of my life. It could have been a scary, heavy moment. Kristoff made it LIGHT. In my character, Lois’ subsequent visits to Genoa City, Kristoff was more of the same. Kind, encouraging, playful, fun and present. He saw me. He saw EVERYONE. He made time for everyone. He celebrated everyone. No matter who you were. He saw you. We spent our last lunch break together (the day this picture was taken) eating with a background actor who had been sitting alone in the commissary. Not on Kristoff’s watch. He called her over to join us and the three of us had an amazing time. She got to geek out and ask every question she had and she and I both properly fan-girled over the gift of this lovely man. Kristoff made that moment happen. He saw her. More importantly he felt her. He didn’t want her to be alone in a new place. He did the same for me. That is who he was a man. He was just GOOD. I am heartbroken to hear that he is gone. So heartbroken. #RIP dear heart.

ICE Officials ARREST 21 Savage In Atlanta, Says His 'Whole Persona Is False'

Rapper 21 Savage was arrested by ICE officials in Atlanta on Sunday right before the Super Bowl. More inside...

Rapper 21 Savage is behind bars after he was arrested in Atlanta by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials yesterday. They claim 21 Savage - real name Shayaabin Abraham-Joseph - is in the United States illegally and he's a convicted felon.

ICE spokesperson Bryan Cox confirmed the news of his arrest:

The news comes as a shock because everyone thought he was from Atlanta. An ICE official told a CNN reporter, "His whole public persona is false. He actually came to the U.S. from the U.K. as a teen and overstayed his visa."

ICE claims the 26-year-old rapper is a citizen of the United Kingdom. The agency alleges that he entered the US legally in July 2005, when he was a minor, but subsequently failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa, according to CNN. ICE says the "No Heart" rapper became unlawfully present when his visa expired in July 2006.

"Mr. Abraham-Joseph is presently in ICE custody in Georgia and has been placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts," ICE said in a statement. "ICE will now await the outcome of his case before a federal immigration judge to determine future actions."

21's attorney released a statement saying they are working hard to get him released.

"We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with the authorities to clear up any misunderstandings," Dina LaPolt said in a statement to CNN. "Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in this country, especially in Atlanta, Georgia, and is actively working in the community leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy."

The Saint Laurent Don- who has been nominated for two Grammys this year - was allegedly in a car with another Hip-Hop artist and two other men who were arrested by local police on separate charges after a gun and drugs were discovered. Yikes.

WSBTV reports:

Mr. Abraham-Joseph initially entered the U.S. legally in July 2005, but subsequently failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa and he became unlawfully present in the U.S. when his visa expired in July 2006. In addition to being in violation of federal immigration law, Mr. Abraham-Joseph was convicted on felony drug charges in October 2014 in Fulton County, Georgia.

Mr. Abraham-Joseph is presently in ICE custody in Georgia and has been placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts. ICE will now await the outcome of his case before a federal immigration judge to determine future actions.”

Abraham-Joseph, 26, has claimed to be from Atlanta and has long been considered a local act. Just last fall, he gave free school supplies to more than 2,500 DeKalb County school students.

Cox said Abraham-Joseph is an “unlawfully present United Kingdom national” who legally entered the U.S. in July 2005 on a visa. His visa expired a year later, Cox said. He was also convicted of felony drug charges in 2014 in Fulton County.

Abraham-Joseph has been placed in “removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts,” Cox said.

He performed in Atlanta as recently as Thursday in the Super Bowl Music Fest at State Farm Arena.

He coule be deported.

In 2012, 21 Savage posted a tweet repping East Atlanta:

Right now, it's unclear what United Kingdom country/territory he's from. There are reports that say he's from the Caribbean island of Dominica.

21 Savages's dad Dr. Amsu Anpu, a holistic doctor who has appeared on "The Breakfast Club," has posted pictures of his son as a kid on his Instagram:

CeeLo Green Apologizes After Bashing Super Bowl Boycotters While Hyping Big Boi's Performance + PETA Trolls Fur Coat Wearing Big Boi

CeeLo Green is apologizing for saying "f*ck" all of the Super Bowl boycotters while hyping up Big Boi's Super Bowl halftime performance. See his apology, Big Boi's performance, plus PETA trolling the Atlanta rapper inside...

Before this year, the Super Bowl halftime show has been a coveted performance slot that musicians would die for. Today, not so much.

Several celebs, including Rihanna, Jay Z, Cardi B and Pink, turned down the opportunity to perform during the halftime show this year in support of former QB Colin Kaepernick. As you all know, the NFL blackballed the quarterback for taking a knee during the national anthem as a silent protest against police brutality and racial injustice.

Big Boi - an Atlanta native - hit the stage alongside his Dungeon Family partner Sleepy Brown to perform the Outkast classic, "The Way You Move" during Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta. As Big Boi wrapped up his performance, he began chanting, "ATL H*e" and the crowd joined in.

Check it:

 photo bigboisuper1.png

When it was announced that Big Boi (and Travis Scott) would be joining Maroon 5 during the Super Bowl halftime show, it caught a lot of heat from folks who are boycotting the NFL.

However, CeeLo Green had his homie's back. He hopped on social media to congratulate Big Boi, but he also threw hella shade at the "so called" NFL "protestors."

He wrote (and deleted), “Yo big we riding wit you fam DO THAT SHIT! Fuck these so called protesters you just got 100m worth of press. I’ll kill for you."

Activist Tamika D. Mallory shared a screenshot of his post, BASHING him for disrespecting those who are boycotting the NFL

Tamika and others dragged CeeLo for his comments:

The singer-songwriter then posted on social media to clarify his post and issue an apology:

 photo bigboisuper7.png

He wrote:

"I'd like to address what has become a large misunderstanding and I hope that you will receive this post as clarity, closure, and, most important, an apology. I posted yesterday, excited in the heat of the moment and spirit of triumph in support of my fellow Atlantan, teammate and brother @bigboi. My post was speaking exclusively to him and about those who were opposed to him performing. I would NEVER disrespect or devalue the stance or the severity of why it has been a call to arms as far as our living situation here in America. I am well aware, I fully support, and I stand with all of my extended family around the world. Once again, I sincerely apologize to those I have offended and hope this helps clarify my intentions. CeeLo Green"

Meanwhile...

Jussie Smollett isn't letting his attackers keep him down. He hit the stage in LA to speak out for the first time since he was brutally attacked in Chicago. Find out what he had to say and more inside...

Jussie Smollett is a fighter!

 photo Jussie3.jpg

After he was brutally attacked in Chicago last week, the "Empire" star made his first public appearance at the Troubadour in West Hollywood over the weekend for a scheduled performance.

The nightclub was packed with fans with a few celebrities in the audience, including "Empire" co-creator Lee Daniels, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, producer/Get Lifted Film Co. partner Mike Jackson and members of the Smollett family.

As it was previously reported, the horrific attackis being investigated as a possible hate crime after the "Empire" star said he was attacked by two men who yelled out racial and homophobic slurs. He also made claims that the men put a noose around his neck. Chicago PD claims to have two "persons of interest," but no arrests have been made yet.

The 35-year-old actor said he's bruised, but he's NOT broken when he hit the stage after canceling the meet-and-greet portion for security reasons. He also cleared up several discrepancies that have been floating around about the attack.

During his speech, he said there were four points he wanted to address. He said his ribs were NOT cracked or broken despite reports saying so. He said he went to the doctor immediately - driven by choreographer Frank Gatson. He said he was not hospitalized. Both his doctors in LA and Chicago cleared him to perform.

 photo JussieS.jpg

“I’m not fully healed yet, but I’m going to and I’m going to stand strong with you all,” he told the audience who cheered him on. "I had to be here tonight. I couldn’t let those motherf*ckers win! Regardless of what anyone else says, I will only stand for love and I hope you will all stand with me.”

"And above all, he continued. "I fought the f*ck back! I'm the gay Tupac," he joked.

Jussie's family also appeared on stage to speak about the attack.

Peep the clips below:

After his performance, Jussie expressed now is the time to be even more "blacker" and "gayer."

We're SO glad that Jussie is in good spirits and seemingly doing well after the attack.

Kevin Hart has jokes!

Super Bowl LIII went down inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta yesterday and there were several YBF celebs in attendance to watch the Los Angeles Rams go head-to-head against the New England Patriots.

There was also a good amount of celebrities who decided NOT to attend the Super Bowl in support of former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. More on that in a few.

The Night School actor was there to watch it go down with his wife Eniko Hart.

And to cut up on the field...again.

 photo IMG_5638.jpg

The comedian was "stopped" by security (again) as he and his wife tried to make their way to the Patriots' confetti party after their big win.

If this sounds familar, it is. He did the same thing last year when the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl. However, this time, it was just a joke. He captioned, "2 years in a row .... This is a joke people. I’m fine ...Staged photo." Ha!

Other celebs in attendance included Ciara, Russell Wilson, their son Future Wilburn, Monica, Super Bowl halftime performer Big Boi and his wife Sherlita Patton, Akon, Toya Wright and her daughter Reginae Carter, Ludacris, Jamie Foxx, Keri Hilson, Kandi Burruss' husband Todd Tucker, SteveMarjorie Harvey, Deon Cole, Holly Robinson Peete's husband Rodney Peete and their sons Rodney Peete Jr. Roman Peete, Tyga, and YG:

21 Savage's Alleged Birth Certificate Reveals He Was Born In East London + Visa Application May Have Lead To Arrest + Cardi, Nicki & More Defend Him

 photo 21savageupdates.png

There are updates regarding 21 Savage's arrest after ICE officials picked him up for allegedly being in the U.S. illegally. Get those deets, plus how his celeb friends are coming to his defense inside...

Rapper 21 Savage is behind bars after he was arrested in Atlanta by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials on Super Bowl Sunday. They claim 21 Savage - real name Shayaabin Abraham-Joseph - is in the United States illegally and he could face deportation. It's reported his arrest was a “targeted operation."

21 came to the United States (Atlanta to be exact) with his mother at the age of 12 on a visa in July 2005. The visa expired a year later and he has been living here in the U.S. illegally since then. He is currently being held in federal immigration custody and could be deported at a hearing before a judge.

ICE claims the 26-year-old rapper is a citizen of the United Kingdom. And his alleged birth certificate just popped up on these Internet streets. According to the document (obtained by the Daily Mail), 21 was born on October 22, 1992, at Newham Hospital, in east London. His parents, Heather Joseph and Kevin Emmons, are also British.

The site reports:

“The musician also has twin sisters in the capital, dance choreographers Kyra and Jayda, who have called his arrest 'fishy' but deleted childhood photos of the star growing up in the UK with one tweeting, 'I don't want him to get deported.' Jayda took to her Twitter page to comment on the news, stating that she thinks he should be able to stay in America regardless of where he's from originally.

Peep the tweets below:

As for his arrest, 21's lawyers are PISSED because they claim ICE knew about his status since 2017 when he filed for a U-Visa.

TMZ reports:

21's lawyer says ICE blew it by basing the arrest, in part, on the rapper's previous felony. As we reported, 21 pled guilty to felony drug charges in 2014, but the record was expunged last year. ICE does not have to honor an expungement ... the arrest and conviction can trigger deportation action.

Ironically, 21 Savage's move to become a legal resident may have caused the arrest, because USCIS investigates the application and does a background check, which apparently revealed he was born in the UK, came to the U.S. legally in 2005 with a visa, but it expired the next year and he has been here illegally ever since.

As for why Savage decided to ask for a U-Visa in 2017 ... there's a form of relief available for people who have been in the U.S. illegally for 10 years or longer, who have a qualifying U.S. relative living here. In Savage's case, he has 3 kids who were born here. Problem is ... ICE apparently believes the felony conviction knocks him out of the box.

Another reason he may have wanted the visa ... it would allow him to leave the country to tour.

21's lawyers are working relentlessly to get him out of jail. They claim keeping him behind bars is a "civil law violation." They say since the Grammy nominated rapper came to the U.S. as a minor he was “left without legal status through no fault of his own.”

“This is a civil law violation, and the continued detention of Mr. Abraham-Joseph serves no other purpose than to unnecessarily punish him and try to intimidate him into giving up his right to fight to remain in the United States,” attorney Charles Kuck said in a statement. “Obviously, our client is not a flight risk, as he is widely recognizable, and a prominent member of the music industry. Likewise, Mr. Abraham-Joseph is clearly not a danger to the community, and in fact, his contributions to local communities and schools that he grew up in are examples of the type of immigrant we want in America.”

Kuck says his client has NEVER hidden his immigration status from the U.S. government, hence why he applied for a U-Visa in 2017. The application is currently pending and ICE has known about it, yet took no action until this weekend.

“Obviously, our client is not a flight risk, as he is widely recognizable, and a prominent member of the music industry," Kuck continued. "Likewise, Mr. Abraham-Joseph’s is clearly not a danger to the community, and in fact, his contributions to local communities and schools that he grew up in are examples of the type of immigrant we want in America.”

“Mr. Abraham-Joseph has US citizen children that he supports and is eligible for relief from deportation. We and he will fight for his release, for his family, and his right to remain in our country. No one would expect less from him.”

The "A Lot" rapper's attorneys are also upset ICE brought up his prior criminal charges since they were expunged last year.

TMZ reports:

The attorney also takes aim at ICE for putting it out there that 21 Savage has prior criminal charges, suggesting he does not. Point of fact -- Savage pled guilty to felony drug possession back in 2014, but that conviction was expunged last September.

Now, this is interesting ... Kuck says the Visa 21 Savage applied for is based on him being a victim of crime. Kuck tells TMZ, 21 Savage was shot during a 2013 incident where his best friend was murdered. Kuck says he was "severely affected physically and mentally." He goes on to say being a crime victim puts 21 Savage in a position for permanent residence.

His attorneys feel like ICE is trying to "unnecessarily punish him," claiming the agency is trying "to intimidate him into giving up his right to fight to remain in the United States."

Several of 21's celeb friends have come to his defense. Singer Demi Lovato came under fire after she tweeted, "The 21 Savage memes have been my favorite part of the Super Bowl."

Wale responded, "Why is somebody freedom funny ... I don’t get the joke"

Then he tweeted, " "A lot of people were sending you love light , prayers etc . When people were making jokes about u at a rough time. A lot of people. Bless up."

In TSR's comments section, Demi Lovato responded, "Wale just salty I never responded to his desperate tweets years ago."

Then, Wale politely clapped back, "Still ain't gon disrespect you... Still praying for you Demi," he responded, referencing her 2018 overdose on Oxycodone and fentanyl. "Hopefully you seen the ones providing comfort and prayer when you were down. I don't kick people when they down. Go queen."

We're here for the classy shade.

Offset defended 21 Savage in a tweet, writing, "ALL THE MEMES AND SHIT AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME PRAYING FOR MY DAWG AINT SHIT FUNNY HIS FANILY DEPENDING ON HIM"

Rapper Boosie also went IN on Demi Lovato:

By the way, Demi Lovato has deactivated her Twitter following the backlash. Oop!

Bigot Barbie Tomi Lahren joined in on clowning 21 where Cardi B responded:

Bloop!

Cardi's nemesis Nicki Minaj also popped off on Tomi:

Also, a video of 21's mother has resurfaced where she talks in her British accent:

If he is deported, the artist could face a 10-year ban on returning to the United States.

Come Again? Liam Neeson Claims He's NOT Racist After Stating He Planned To KILL A Random 'Black Bastard' Over Friend's Rape

$

 photo liamracist.png

Actor Liam Neeson tries to clarify statements he made about planning to kill a random black person after his friend's rape. However, his clarification still sounds racist AF. More inside...

If you’re Liam Neeson fans like us, his latest admission is disheartening at best.

The Irish actor is currently promoting his new film, Cold Pursuit. When he was asked about how he channels the necessary rage for his role as a father whose son was killed by a drug gang, his response - one that he says is an admission he’s never before revealed - now has everybody asking some questions.

During a recent interview with The Independent, Liam revealed he considered carrying out a racist murder years ago after someone close to him was allegedly raped by a black man.

“I’ll tell you a story. This is true,” the actor can be heard saying to journalist Clémence Michallon in the taped interview, explaining that the woman—who he didn’t name—told him that she had been raped by a black man while he was overseas.

“She handled the situation of the rape in the most extraordinary way,” he went on. “But my immediate reaction was, I asked, did she know who it was? No. What color were they? She said it was a black person. I went up and down areas with a cosh, hoping I’d be approached by somebody—I’m ashamed to say that—and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some [making air quotes with his fingers] ‘black bastard’ would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him.”

Take a listen below:

Oh?

The Taken star went on to say that it took him a week or two to get over his impulse. He appeared to realize during the interview how shocking his admission was. He said that it “was horrible, horrible, when I think back, that I did that and I’ve never admitted that, and I’m saying it to a journalist. God forbid.”

He says he eventually learned a lesson from it:

“It’s awful,” Neeson went on. “But I did learn a lesson from it, when I eventually thought, ‘What the f*ck are you doing,’ you know?… I come from a society—I grew up in Northern Ireland in the Troubles—and, you know, I knew a couple of guys that died on hunger strike, and I had acquaintances who were very caught up in the Troubles, and I understand that need for revenge, but it just leads to more revenge, to more killing and more killing, and Northern Ireland’s proof of that.”

He added: “All this stuff that’s happening in the world, the violence, is proof of that, you know. But that primal need, I understand.” End quote

Liam says moviegoers get to love out their primal desire of hurting people through movies. And then they leave satisfied and don’t want to now do it in their real lives.

“I think audience members live to see [that violence on screen],” Neeson said. “They can kind of live vicariously through it. People say, ‘Yeah but violence in films makes people want to go out and kill people.’ I don’t believe that at all. I think the average moviegoer thinks, ‘Yeah, punch him. Punch him.’ And they get satisfaction out of seeing somebody else enact it, and they leave the theatre and they feel satiated in some way.” End quote

Um, wow. Sounds like a dog whistle to racists and other horrible people who live out their gross fantasies by watching them on screen. Reminds us of that Mandingo fight scene in Django Unchained.

Liam also spoke to Robin Roberts today on “GMA”, explaining why he’s not racist. He said he did seek out help - from a priest - after realizing how shockingly dark his thoughts were. He also claimed that if his friend said the attacker was white, he would have tried to seek out a person fitting that description. Oh?

Sounds to us like the rage is still there, for Liam and others, and is simply suppressed because it’s not socially acceptable (well, in a non Trump world it's not) to walk around admitting to wanting to kill blacks because one black person did something to a loved one.

Is it “behind him” or “in his past” if he admits to tapping into the rage - which apparently is still there to tap into - for the role? Is it in his past, or did he simply learn how to suppress it, which would be two completely different things.

Applauding someone for admitting their racism - because yes, hating and targeting a specific race for any reason is literally a definition of racism - and the claiming to have moved past it is so....basic. We’re really applauding someone for choosing to be a decent human being instead of actively seeking to harm someone specifically because of their race? And said person is not necessarily no longer in that space, they’ve simply learned how to cover it up? White privilege at its finest.

All humans should know that wanting to kill a random person, period, is a bad thing. Suddenly realizing that isn’t worth a pat on the back and applause.

It would be different if he was actively being instructive and constructive about his formerly racist past, similar to a former KKK member who now does motivational talks. He doesn’t tap back into his anger likely because he’s actually reformed and it’s simply not there.

The writer also tweeted things about the interview:

The millennials are currently in their sophomore year at CalU, learning from the mistakes they made during their freshman year, but also learning they aren't as "grown" as they once thought.

Giving the show the greenlight was a no-brainer for the network. It currently ranks as the No. 1 comedy on cable amount women 18-49 and females 12-34, according to Deadline. UGH!

"Atlanta" is being delayed...again! You may recall season 2 of the hit FX series was delayed due to creator/star Donald Glover's production schedule. This year, some things in Donald's personal life and everyone's schedules have caused the set back. Also, Donald (rap name Childish Gambino) is still finishing his "This Is America" tour.

FX executives John Landgraf and John Solberg confirmed the delay while addressing press at the Television Critics Association tour today.

“I don’t know whether we’ll have ‘Atlanta’ or not,” Landgraf said. “The writers are back working right now, thank God.”

So, that means "Atlanta" will not be in the running for this coming EMMY's cycle since the cut off date is May 31, 2019. Don't fret too much. Writing for the 3rd season has started and production should likely begin later this year. Which means, season 3 may not get here until 2020.

“As you might imagine, Donald Glover is sort of the king of all media, and he just has had an incredibly complicated life,” Landgraf said about the show’s delay. “He’s had personal things he’s had to deal with, from injuries to other things I’d rather not say publicly that just have to do with not with his personal life but his extended family.”

“I think one of the things that is just a reality of television today is you have to wait," Landgraf continued. "We have so many things now that don’t cycle back on a regular basis. From my standpoint, I wish for the fans as well as for us that we could get everything back on an annual basis but, again, you just have to make a decision about quantity over quality at a certain point — and we’re just erring on the side of quality.”

Quality over quantity, guys. We have to be patient, even though it's hard.

The show (which has earned FIVE Primetime EMMYS) is funny AF and we can't wait for Earn, Paper Boi, Darius and Van to bring the laughs.

After accepting her star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, Taraji P. Henson is back on the east coast to make more press stops for her uocming comedy, What Men Want.

The 48-year-old actress hit the carpet for the film's NYC premiere held at the Crosby Street Hotel last night in a black long-sleeved L'Agence dress. FAB, per usual.

Produced by Will Packer (Girl's Trip) and directed by Adam Shankman, the Oscar nominated actress plays a sports agent in a male-dominated industry where she has to fight her way up the ladder to prove she's better the boys. She gains an unexpected edge over them when she develops the ability to hear men's thoughts after drinking a tea that was given to her by a psychic (played by Erykah Badu).

Stacey Abrams Delivers Inspirational Rebuttal To Trump's SOTU Address, Says Government Shutdown Was A 'Stunt' & Calls These 'Political Games' A 'Disgrace'

$

 photo staceyabrams.png

Stacey Abrams calls for unity and social justice while slamming Trump for his disgraceful "political games" with the government shutdown. More inside...

Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams delivered the official Democratic response to Trump's State of the Union address. And she CRUSHED it! By the way, she's the first black woman to do so.

Stacey served up a speech of unity, hope and the need to push America to greater heights, accomplishing something Trump hasn't achieved yet as we're well into his 3rd year of leadership. It was a passionate response that touched on issues Trump didn't mention during his address, including LGBTQ support, the realness of voter suppression and mass shootings.

Standing in front of a diverse group of men and women, Stacey shared why she felt - as a black woman - she could run for Governor of Georgia.

"It is this mantra - this uncommon grace of community - that has driven me to become an attorney, a small business owner, a writer, and most recently, the Democratic nominee for Governor of Georgia," she said. "My reason for running for governor was simple: I love our country and its promise of opportunity for all, and I stand here tonight because I hold fast to my father's credo -- together, we are coming for America, for a better America. The former Minority leader of the House in Georgia criticized several of Trump's policies, including health care, gun safety and immigration. And she definitely called him out on playing "political games" with the government shutdown, which has become the longest shutdown in history.

"Just a few weeks ago, I joined volunteers to distribute meals to furloughed federal workers. They waited in line for a box of food and a sliver of hope since they hadn't received a paycheck in weeks. Making their livelihoods a pawn for political games is a disgrace. The shutdown was a stunt engineered by the President of the United States, one that defied every tenet of fairness and abandoned not just our people - but our values."

Where is the lie?

She talked about how when she led the Democratic Party in the Georgia House, she didn't always agree with her constituents, however, they were able to come together for the greater good of the American people regardless of their party affilation.

"For seven years, I led the Democratic Party in the Georgia House of Representatives. I didn't always agree with the Republican Speaker or Governor, but I understood that our constituents didn't care about our political parties -- they cared about their lives. So, when we had to negotiate criminal justice reform or transportation or foster care improvements, the leaders of our state didn't shut down -- we came together. And we kept our word."

"It should be no different in our nation's capital. We may come from different sides of the political aisle; but, our joint commitment to the ideals of this nation cannot be negotiable."

Show. Them. How. It's. DONE.

She went on to talk about how health care costs are literally killing Americans and putting them in debt, herself included.

"My father has battled prostate cancer for years. To help cover the costs, I found myself sinking deeper into debt -- because while you can defer some payments, you can't defer cancer treatment. In this great nation, Americans are skipping blood pressure pills, forced to choose between buying medicine or paying rent. Maternal mortality rates show that mothers, especially black mothers, risk death to give birth. And in 14 states, including my home state where a majority want it, our leaders refuse to expand Medicaid, which could save rural hospitals, economies, and lives."

While she said she disagrees with Trump on just about everything, she still wants him to succeed for the betterment of our country.

"So even as I am very disappointed by the President's approach to our problems -- I still don't want him to fail. But we need him to tell the truth, and to respect his duties and the extraordinary diversity that defines America."

"Thank you, and may God bless the United States of America."

The Women House Democrats wore white for tonight’s SOTU, as a nod to women’s suffrage.

 photo IMG_5720.jpg

 photo IMG_5718.jpg

 photo IMG_5721.jpg

Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) made sure to also salute the women of color who were excluded from the women’s suffrage movement.

As for Trump's speech...

 photo IMG_5714.jpg

Trump's speech was pretty predictable. With House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence behind him, Trump urged Congress to approve every last one of his nominees, demanded they give him the money for his wall, AND he wants them the stop investigating him. Of course.

“If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation,” he said. After he said that, it appeared Nancy laughed. Ha!

 photo IMG_5716.jpg

In case you were wondering, Nancy serbed up a saracsatic clap as Trump called for Americans to “reject the politics of revenge, resistance, and retribution, and embrace the boundless potential of cooperation, compromise, and the common good." By the way, this picture has already been turned into hilarious memes.

Trump went after the "left wing" of the Democratic Party, suggesting that some Democrats are issuing “new calls to adopt socialism in our country.”

“America was founded on liberty and independence and not government coercion, domination, and control. We are born free, and we will stay free. Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country," he said.

As expected, he spent a lot of time talking about immigration as he continues to build a case for his wall.

“The lawless state of our Southern border is a threat to the safety, security and financial well-being of all Americans,” he said. “We have a moral duty to create an immigration system that protects the lives and jobs of our citizens.”

Blah. Blah. Blah.

 photo IMG_5715.jpg

He also served up anti-abortion comments in his speech.

“Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamental truth: All children — born and unborn — are made in the holy image of God.”

“Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. These are living, feeling, beautiful babies who will never get the chance to share their love and dreams with the world,” he said. "We had the case of the governor of Virginia where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth.”

“To defend the dignity of every person, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to prohibit the late-term abortion of children who can feel pain in the mother’s womb,” he said.

Check out the key moments below because we know y'all aren't about to watch the full thing:

Also...

Alice Marie Johnson - the woman Kim Kardashian West helped to get out of prison - was in the audience.

The 63-year-old pardoned inamte was brought to tears when Trump praised her during his speech. She's  a non-violent drug offender who served 22 years in prison for her involvement in a drug trakkicking operation.

"When I saw Alice's beautiful family greet her at the prison gates, hugging and kissing and crying and laughing, I knew I did something right," he said. "Alice, thank you for reminding us that we always have the power to shape our own destiny."

By the way, Alice just copped a book deal, along with deals for film and television rights. TIME reports:

Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, announced Wednesday that Alice Marie Johnson’s “After Life: My Journey From Incarceration to Freedom” comes out May 21. Kardashian West contributed a foreword to what Harper is calling an “honest, faith-driven memoir” and a “deep look into the systemic issue of mass incarceration.” Film, television and “life rights” were sold to Endeavor Content and One Community.

“I feel humbled that the telling of my story gives hope and my years of pain were not in vain,” Johnson said in a statement.

“My life has forever changed because of Alice Marie Johnson,” Kardashian West said in statement. “Her story is a gift that will now reach so many millions more through her book and film. I hope Alice’s case is just the beginning of a movement to help those left behind. I am invested in continuing to support Alice and this cause.”

OH? Sen. Cory Booker Confirms He's All Boo'd Up, Says Partner Is 'Really Special' + The Rumor Mill Claims It's THIS Actress!

Sen. Cory Booker wants you to know he's not an eligible bachelor. He's all boo'd up. More inside..

After announcing he's running for president in 2020 on the first day of Black History Month, Sen. Cory Booker is speaking to the people! Specifically, the young, black demographic.

The New Jersey Democrat stopped by Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" where he was asked about his bachelordom. Cory's relationship status has often been the topic of discussion, and now he's spilling tea about his love life. His relationship status came up after he mentioned he lives in a basement apartment in Washington.

“Before I declare[d] [for] president, I’m dating somebody that’s really special,” Booker responded.

“Oh, so Cory Booker’s got a boo?” Charlamagne asked.

“I got a boo,” Booker said as he laughed. “I’m dating someone [who] is very special.”

Almost all presidents elected are married, excluding a handful of single men who served the country, including Thomas Jefferson in 1800, Martin Van Buren in 1836 and James Buchanan in 1857.

Charlamagne addressed how rare it would be to have a president who's not married.

“First of all, there’s two more years until I might fulfill this duty," the 49-year-old White House hopeful said. "So give me some time. My girlfriend might listen to this."

Oh? Does that mean he'll be trekking down the aisle soon? Sure sounds like it.

"Would she make a nice first lady, whoever she is?" Charlamagne asked.

“Yes, she would," he responded. “What have I gotten myself into?” he joked. “Out of all the issues we talked about this is the most uncomfortable part of this interview.”

Ha!

Mr. Booker never revealed who the special woman on his arm is. But, the rumor mill believes he could possibly be dating actress Rosario Dawson.

They were spotted attending Broadway's "Dear Even Hansen" together, alongside Dawson's daughter Lola and Booker's niece. Rosario as First Lady? It may happen.

The Senator also addressed crimnal justice reform, how he helped rebuild Newark, NJ as mayor, health care costs, punishing pharmaceutical companies for raising prices, the Super Bowl and Colin Kaepernick, Trump, and more.

Check out the girlfriend talk at the 30-minute mark below:

Continuing his rounds...

 photo IMG_5731.jpg

Sen. Cory Booker appeared on "The VIew" last week where he had to check co-host Meghan McCain after she tried to belittle him and mocked him with right-wing talk, specifically with the “Spartacus” nickname that remains popular in conservative media.

 photo IMG_5729.jpg

“I was threatened to be thrown out of the Senate, I told the senator that did that, ‘Bring it,’ and another senator stood up and said, ‘If you’re going to throw Cory Booker out, throw me into the pit, as well.’ That senator, I looked at them and said, ‘Wow, that’s like an I am Spartacus moment — he stepped forward to (say) if anything happens to Cory (it) happens to me.'”

He revealed it was U.S. Senator Dick Durbin he was referring to.

 photo IMG_5730.jpg

Booker then shamed Meghan for coming for him:

“The problem with our culture, these snippets, we have people getting more and more ratings by tearing down other people,” he said. “If you’re tired of that bitterness, that trash talking, that trolling, that politics that is a race to the bottom in our country, then don’t support me, because I’m not in this race to tear people down. I’m in this race try to build our nation up.”

Let. HER. KNOW.

Wale Calls Out Terry Crews For Showing Compassion Over Liam Neeson's Racist Comments + Regina King, Mahershala Ali & Spike Lee Celebrate Oscar Nominations In Beverly Hills

Wale and Terry Crews got into a Twitter showdown over Liam Neeson's controversial racist comments. See their open dialogue, plus flicks of Regina King, Mahershala Ali, Spike Lee and more celebrating their Oscar nominations in Beverly HIlls inside...

Rapper Wale was NOT here for Terry Crews offering up words of compassion after actor Liam Neeson tried to explain racist comments he made in an interview this week.

Yesterday, the Internet was on fire after the Taken star went on "Good Morning America" to explain what he meant when he revealed he once was on a mission to kill any random black man - which he referred to as "black bastard" - after a close friend of his disclosed she was raped by a black man.

His "explanation" only made it worse because he still sounded racist AF. Following his "GMA" appearance, the red carpet premiere of the 66-year-old Ireland-born actor's movie, Cold Pursuit, was canceled in NYC. Bloop!

On social media, everyone was sharing their opinions about Liam's remarks and Terry offered up a shocking response, in which Wale HAD to respond.

Here's how their exchange went below:

"I believe that every person on earth is capable of the greatest good, or unspeakable evil. Liam is just describing his fork in the road."

Nah. Wale wasn't here for no "fork in the road," so he responded.

"Na. No. Nope. Liam is trash. We losin Brothers all the time because of this proverbial 'fork. Na fam," the rapper tweeted. And he made a good point.

"So what are we gonna do, @wale?," Terry asked.

"I know what we not gon do, Terry," Wale popped back.

Peep the tweets:

Their conversation ended their, but the guys continued to tweet about the controversy with their fans:

Interesting.

Comedian D.L. Hughley - who was involved in a Twitter spat with Terry over toxic masculinity last week - also chimed in to share his thoughts on Liam's racist remarks, saying he's letting his movie roles go to his head:

With the 91st Annual Academy Awards right around the corner (Feb. 24th), the annual Oscars Nominees Luncheon was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to celebrate everyone in the running.

Our girl Regina King was on the scene to live it up for her first Oscar nomination. She has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in the critically acclaimed move, If Beale Street Could Talk.

The braided beauty made her rounds, linking up with YBF Oscar nominee Mahershala Ali

She also stopped for a photo-op with actress Nadine Labaki.

Mahershala Ali is in the running for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Green Book. We feel like he should have been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor like his co-star Viggo Mortensen.

If Mahershala wins, it'll be his SECOND win in the same category after copping the award in 2017 for Moonlight.

Production designer Hannah Beachler was on the scene after making history as the first black person to ever be nominated for Best Production Design! She put her talents to work on Black Panther, which is up for a total of 7 nominations.

Spike Lee earned his first ever Best Directing nomination this year for BlacKKKlansman. He scored three nominations total this year as his dramedy flick was nominated for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Costume designer Ruth Carter received her third Oscar nomination. She's in the running for Best Costume Design for Black Panther.

Director Barry Jenkins landed a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for If Beale Street Could Talk. If he wins, it'll be his 2nd win in the same category after nabbing the win for Moonlight in 2017.

The 91st Annual Academy Awards go down Febraury 24th. Keep it locked to TheYBF.com for all the melanin coverage.

Distraught 911 Call From Bow Wow's Girlfriend Kiyomi LEAKS! + Tekashi 6ix9ine's BM Sara Shares Horrifying Details About Alleged Beatings From Rapper

 photo bowwowupdate1.png

There are updates in the Bow Wow/Kiyomi domestic violence arrest saga, plus Tekashi 6ix9ine's daughter's mom Sara Molina is speaking out about the alleged abuse she endured from the rapper. Get it all inside...

As you all know by now, Bow Wow and his on-again, off-again girlfriend Kiyomi Leslie (real name Leslie Holden) were arrested in Atlanta over the weekend for alleged battery on each other.

Now, the 9-1-1 call Kiyomi made after the physical altercation has leaked and it's very telling. On the call, Kiyomi tells the dispatcher the "Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta" star "physically assaulted" her and said she was able to escape after being held "hostage" to file a report against him.

"He was hitting me. He was hitting me in places and he said no one is going to believe you," Kiyomi explained.

Kiyomi claims she called the police earlier, but when they showed up, he and two of friends allegedly kept her inside of a bedroom, refusing to let her speak to police. Wow! She fought back tears while trying to explain to the dispatcher what happened. Take a listen here.

The apartment building's manager also made a call to police after a resident hit her up about the fight. Take a listen below:

Bow Wow was booked at the Fulton County Police Station and charged for Battery Substantial Physical Harm. Kiyomi was also charged with Battery. On social media, folks have been having a field day making memes of Bow Wow's mugshot. If you haven't seen it, check it out HERE.

Whew, chile. Sometimes it's just better to move on for the better.

Looks like Bow Wow is back to business:

In other rapper news...

 photo tekashisaraagain.png

Tekashi 6ix9ine's ex-girlfriend/daughter's mother Sara Monlina is speaking out, sharing gruesome details about how she was physically and sexually assaulted by the rapper over their seven-year relationship.

In a new interview with The Daily Beast, Sara details how he punched and kicked her for two whole hours in an attempt to get to her confess to cheating on him with his manager, Kifano "Shotti" Jordan, who is also facing a life sentence in prison over RICO charges like Tekashi, while they were in Dubai. She claims he beat her so bad, she went deaf in her right ear.

He apparently hoped to elicit a confession from her by confessing himself to sleeping with more than 70 other women in the past year, resulting in multiple pregnancies. She said he told her he had acquired multiple STDs.

“I'm going to ask you again, has Shotti ever tried to come home to you?’” she recounted to The Daily Beast. “He had the craziest look in his eyes...I was scared. ‘Why is he acting this way?’ I had never seen him like that. He punched me so hard in my right ear I thought I was deaf.”

Yikes.

It only got worse after that. She explains the NYC rapper almost choked the life out of her after refusing to let her leave. She claims he told her he had to make an example out of her for making him look "stupid." The next morning Tekashi allegedly raped her as she cried.

“He woke up, forced me to have sex with him,” she said. “I cried." She went into the bathroom and stood before a mirror. “My face was so swollen,” she later said. “It was so bad. I could barely open my eyes.”

She said she had two black eyes, her right ear was purplish black and her body was covered with bruises. Thankfully, their 3-year-old daughter was not with them.

While the "FEFE" rapper is trying his damnedest to avoid a life sentence in prison over racketeering charges, Sara is trying to get her life together following the traumatic experiences at the hands of the man she once loved.

“I’m just trying to take it all in,” she told The Daily Beast. “I’m trying to take it all in as best I can. Sometimes, it feels unreal that it feels normal to me because it’s been going on for such a long time.”

She concluded, “I feel like real love shouldn’t be complicated."

This isn't love baby girl.

If you can stand it, read more details from the alleged assaults here.

Cardi B's Real Life 'Rags To Riches' Story In FIRST Harper's Bazaar Cover - Getting Back With Offset, Postpartum Depression & Why She's Against Therapy

$

Cardi B nabs multiple covers of Harper’s Bazaar magazine’s March 2019 issue where she talks about fame, family, whether she's getting back with Offset, therapy and more. See her fab covers, spread and highlights from her cover story inside...

Cardi B's rise to fame has literally been a real-life Cinderella story. She went from being a stripper in the Bronx to becoming the hottest female rapper in the game.

The 26-year-old rapper graces two covers of Harper's Bazaar's March 2019/Spring 2019 issue. And the pictorials - which are all popular fairytale re-enactments like Cinderella and Rapunzel - are FIRE.

Literally.

Inside, the Grammy nominated rapper - who's up for 5 Grammy Awards this year - shares how she feels like a princess. Real Cinderella like with her rags to riches story. As you know, that infamous "fight" with Nicki Minaj went down at a Harper's Bazaar event during New York Fashion Week this past September, but there's obviously no bad blood between the rapper and the publication.

“I feel like my life is a fairy tale and I’m a princess—rags to riches, people trying to sabotage,” she says. But she also complains fervently about being over the fairy-tale life and wanting peace and quiet. “Before, I cared about everything—relationship, gossip. Now I don’t feel like I have the time to please people,” she explains. “I don’t care about anything anymore—just my career and my kid.” What about money, the thing she raps about caring for quite a bit? “Well, I care about my career because of my money,” Cardi says, giving me a “c’mon, stupid” face.

As her starpower grew, Bardi's personal life changed drastically when she married Offset and gave birth to their baby girl, Kulture Kiari Cephus. Being in the public eye, we all saw how the Migos rapper was caught up several times creeping behind Cardi's back. When she got fed up (after taking him back once), she announced to the world that they were breaking up. Shortly after, Offset went into overdrive trying to win her back. Has his efforts worked? Will she reuniting with Offset?

“I don’t think so,” and “Who knows? You never know, you can never tell,” neither of which is exactly a definitive answer.

As of now, it's up in the air. When asked if her family and friends influenced her decision to leave Offset, she set the record straight about being the only person in control of her life. And no amount of therapy will change her mind about anything. She shares Offset suggested they go to therapy, but she's not with it.

“No, I decided on my own,” she declares, looking me straight in the eye. “Nobody makes my decisions about my life but me.” Before they broke up, Offset begged Cardi to see a therapist. “I didn’t want to go to marriage counseling,” she says, in a firm tone of voice. “He suggested it, but it’s like, ‘I don’t want to go.’ There’s no counselor or nothing that could make me change my mind.”

Welp. There's that.

After giving birth to baby Kulture, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper suffered postpartum depression, which she learned is REAL.

“It was too hard,” she explains. In fact, she spent most of the time after the baby was born in a haze of postpartum depression. “I thought I was going to avoid it,” Cardi says. “When I gave birth, the doctor told me about postpartum, and I was like, ‘Well, I’m doing good right now, I don’t think that’s going to happen.’ But out of nowhere, the world was heavy on my shoulders.”

Check out more highlights from her cover story below, and how men will always be....men:

On dating as a single mother:

“I have a kid, and I’m also famous,” she says quietly. “So I can’t just sleep with anybody. People talk. You know, if I date somebody in the industry, that’s another person in the industry. If I date somebody who is not in the industry, he might not understand my lifestyle.” Since the breakup, she’s been getting a ton of messages from guys but ignoring them. “It’s like, ‘Bro, why would you want to holler at me right away? You’re weird.’ If you think Imma automatically hop onto you after a marriage, that just means you think I’m a sleaze. And I’m not. I have a kid—I have to show an example.”

"When it comes being around men, I don't feel like a lotta moms should be dating three, four different guys in a year. And I don't feel like your kids should see you with a whole lotta different men. Especially if you have a female daughter. Because I feel like there's a lot of psychopaths and you don't want them around your kids. Once you're a mom, you should be more mindful of how many men you bring in your life. I don't feel negative [towards men]. I just don't feel like I have the time right now."

On why she doesn't feel like a "single" mother:

"My daughter loves her dad. She really, really does. I don't feel like I'm a single mom because that's her dad. I feel like a single mom is a person that don't have the dad around. He loves my kid. I don't feel single at all. Whatever Imma want, he's gonna give me, so I don't feel like a single mom."

On her body changing after giving birth:

As a new mom, Cardi is still experiencing aches and pains. “For some reason, I still don’t feel like my body’s the same,” she says. “I feel like I don’t have my balance right yet. When it comes to heels, I’m not as good at walking anymore. I feel like I’m holding a weight on me. I don’t know why because I’m skinnier than I’ve ever been. But there’s an energy I haven’t gotten back yet that I had before I was pregnant. It’s just the weirdest thing.”

On backing off from social media:

She’s thinking about pulling back a little from social media. “I’ve noticed that every time you respond, you just make things worse, so I’m over it. I’m just over it. I really don’t need it, and sometimes it just brings chaos to my brain.” She adds, “I can stay off social media. I’ve been trying.” For months after KK was born, Cardi didn’t put pictures of her on social media, and certainly didn’t sell any to the tabloids. She says Offset wanted to put a picture up, but she was unsure.

On posting Kulture on social media:

“As soon as she was born, one month in he was like, ‘She’s so beautiful. Watch how people gonna go crazy.’ ’Cause a lot of people were saying mean stuff, like that we don’t post her because she’s ugly. He was like, ‘I’m about to post my baby right now.’ But then we were very concerned because we were getting a lot of threats, so he said, ‘The world don’t even deserve to see her.’” Eventually Cardi wanted to put a photo up because “it’s really annoying and we don’t have a life. We have to hide her all the time. I can’t go to L.A. or Miami and walk down the beach with my baby. I want to go shopping with my baby. I want to take a stroll with my baby. Sometimes I feel bad for her because all she knows is the house.” But can’t you put on a baseball cap? I ask. Will people still recognize you? “Yeah,” she says. “It’s my nose.”

Ha!  We love her outlook on being extremely choosy - as all women should be whether you're a mother or not - with who she lets near her and her child.  And yes, men rarely care about your personal situation, just what they want.  So we're not surprised plenty of men were shooting their shot while she was going through a separation and having a baby.  Steer clear of anyone who doesn't put your needs first, sis!

Jay Z & Roc Nation Hire Heavyweight Attorney To Help Free 21 Savage From The 'Absolute Travesty' Of An Arrest + Reps Clarify Rapper's Immigration Status

 photo jayz21savageteaser.png

Jay Z and Roc Nation are stepping in to help 21 Savage after his recent arrest. And they've hired a high-powered attorney to get him free. Deets inside...

Days after his arrest, Jay Z and Roc Nation are lending a helping hand to rapper 21 Savage after he was arrested and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials in Atlanta over the weekend. ICE claims the 26-year-old rapper overstayed his visa and that he is a convicted felon. While all of those things are true, there is talk that his record was reportedly expunged last year, and his U Visa petition to address his overstayed Visa is still pending.  So, should he still be facing deportation?

That's the debate.

Several celebs have spoken out in his defense - including Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Offset, Wale, and more. Georgia congressman Hank Johnson even released a letter he sent to the immigration judge overseeing 21 Savage’s case.

Now, Jay Z is stepping in, but he's doing more than posting up social media posts. He's putting big bucks behind his defense in an effort to get the father-of-three released.

Jay Z, along with Roc Nation, has hired high-powered attorney Alex Spiro to assist in getting 21 Savage - real name Shayaabin Abraham-Joseph - out of custody.

Hov released a statement in support of 21, calling his arrest "an absolute travesty."

"The arrest and detention of 21 Savage is an absolute travesty, his U visa petition has been pending for 4 years. In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately, #Free21Savage"

“We are not going to stop until he is released, bonded out or in front of a judge," Spiro told Variety. "What we have here is someone who overstayed their Visa with an application pending for 4 years — not a convicted criminal that needs to be detained and removed but, by all accounts a wonderful person, father, and entertainer who has a marijuana offense which was vacated and sealed.”

By the way, Spiro worked on the Bobby Shmurda case a few years ago.

21's representatives released a statement clarifying the rapper's immigration status since details about his arrest have been inconsistently reported. They confirm he was born in the United Kingdom (like the birth certificate that has been floating around confirmed). However, he came to the United States at the age of 7, not 12, as previously reported. They said he left the country and returned again in 2005. His visa expired in 2006 and he filed for a U-Visa in 2017, which is still pending.

"We are unaware of why ICE apparently targeted Mr. Abraham-Joseph, but we will do everything possible to legally seek his release and pursue his available relief in immigration court."

The full statement reads:

Mr. Abraham-Joseph has three U.S. Citizen children, a lawful permanent resident mother and four siblings that are either US Citizens or lawful permanent residents. He has exceptionally strong ties in the United States, having lived here since he was in the first grade. Because of his length of residence in the United States and his immediate relatives, Mr. Abraham-Joseph is eligible to seek Cancellation of Removal from an Immigration Judge.

Mr. Abraham-Joseph was placed into deportation proceedings AFTER his arrest, he was not in deportation proceedings prior to this detention by ICE. DHS has known his address since the filing of a U visa application in 2017. He has never hidden from DHS or any of its agencies. Mr. Abraham-Joseph is not subject to mandatory detention under federal law and is eligible for bond. By statute, bond should be granted by ICE when there is no flight risk or a danger to the community... We are unaware of why ICE apparently targeted Mr. Abraham-Joseph, but we will do everything possible to legally seek his release and pursue his available relief in immigration court.

A source tells Variety that if 21 - who's up for two Grammys - isn't out by the time the Grammy Awards go on this Sunday, then "there will be an immigration-themed moment in his honor."

Now, it's just a waiting game.

Blueface’s 'Thotiana' Remix Could Possibly Reignite Nicki Minaj & Cardi B's Beef + Chris Brown & Offset Exchange FIGHTING Words On Social Media

 photo nickicardithotiana.png

Uh-oh! It appears Blueface's "Thotiana" remix will reignite Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's beef. Speaking of beef, Cardi's husband Offset exchanged fighting words with Chris Brown over 21 Savage. Deets and receipts inside...

Looks like the petty levels - or should we say "pet-tiana" levels - are at an all time high.

Newbie rapper Blueface - who purposely raps offbeat - released a single titled "Thotiana," which has become his biggest hit to date when it hit Billboard's top 100 chart. In November 2018, he signed to Cash Money West, aligning himself with the label's founders Birdman and Wack 100, shortly after being released from jail for his involvement in a California shooting. Lordt.

Wednesday morning (Feb. 6th), Blueface shared a preview of his forthcoming "Thotiana" remix featuring Cardi B via his Instagram Story.

Take a listen below:

Hours later, Cardi's nemesis Nicki Minaj released her own freestyle/rendition of the song titled, "Bust Down Barbiana." Take a listen below:

Coincidence? Possibly. But, someone doesn't think so.

This seemingly pissed off Blueface's manager, Wack 100, so, he went on social media and fired off subliminals. He never mentions Nicki's name, but it def sounds like he's throwing shots at the "Chun-Li" rapper. Wack 100 posted up a picture of the word "EXCLUSIVE" with the caption, "We support EXCLUSIVE content ONLY. Just because your stalking skills triggered your radar don’t make it EXCLUSIVE. EXCLUSIVE #THOTIANA REMIX COMING to @laleakers ..@bluefacebleedem ft @iamcardib & @yg #West"

 photo thotiana1.png

He also shared a video of Bardi in the booth:

Since Nicki is signed to Young Money/Cash Money, we find it odd that Wack 100 would blast someone who's esstenially on the same team.

By the way, Blueface mentioned Cardi was hopping on the remix during an interview with Power 105's "The Breakfast Club."

As expected, Cardi's fans are dragging Nicki over her petty-iana antics:

Hmm...do you think it was a coincidence or is Nicki trolling?

BONUS:

Peep this clip from Blueface's "Breakfast Club" interview where he struggles explaining his label situation. Apparently, he doesn't know what type of record deal he signed:

He also explained why he raps off beat:

We can't.

In other Cardi news...

The "Money" rapper's former management has dragged Cardi's sister Hennessy Carolina into his $15 million legal battler. It's reported she's going to be subpoenaed in the case.

The Blast reports:

On February 5, Cardi’s lawyer filed court docs as part of her ongoing case with her former manager, Klenord “Shaft” Raphael.

The docs note that both parties have been exchanging discovery in the case, including Cardi turning over 8,400 documents which included text messages. Sony Music, Creative Artists Agency, Atlantic Records and Live Nation have all turned over documents after being served subpoenas about Cardi.

Cardi says she is also in the process of requesting a forensic examination of electronically stored info that may have been deleted by one of her former lawyers connected to the case.

Shaft has informed Cardi that he plans on serving her sister, Hennessy Carolina, with a subpoena this week, demanding she sit for a deposition and hand over key evidence he believes will help his case.

This is getting ugly.

Speaking of beefs...

 photo chrisoffsetteaser.png

Cardi's hubby Offset got into it with Chris Brown on social media last night. A few days ago, Breezy posted a 21 Savage meme following his arrest with the caption, "CMON FAM, STOP PLAYING WIT DA MANS DEM."

Check it:

Soon after, the Migos rapper hopped in Breezy's comments section, blasting the "Undecided" singer for the post.

Well, Breezy wanted ALL the smoke. He responded to the "Stir Fry" rapper with an expletive laced clap back:

 photo chrisoffset2.jpg

Sheesh! That escalated quickly.

Was it just a misunderstanding? Because it sounds like Breezy and Offset are essentially saying the same thing.

After the "Loyal" singer put up those posts, Offset hopped on Instagram Stories to respond:

 photo chrisoffset3.jpg

Their showdown ended there.

We noticed, right as all this was happening, Nicki Minaj was posting comments on Chris' IG posts:

Pet-tiana or nah?

Fiercely Fit Gabrielle Union Says Surrogacy Felt Like Failure At First In Women's Health Magazine + Iman Drips In Wet White Tee For InStyle

 photo gabbyhealth1.png

New mom Gabrielle Union shares what she really thought when she realized she had to have a surrogate to become a mother in Women's Health magazine. Find out what she said, get into her self-care routine, and check out model icon Iman's white wet t-shirt cover for InStyle magazine inside...

 photo gabbyhealth2.png

Gabrielle Union is FIT. FAB. FORTY PLUS. And FIERCELY killing it. We're green with envy, but in a good way.

Three months ago, the "Being Mary Jane" star became afirst-time mom at the age of 46. And she surprised the world because no one knew she and her husband Dwyane Wade were expecting a baby.

It was a long and hard road for Gabby and D. Wade, but her dream of becoming a mother finally came true when her baby girl Kaavia James Union Wade made her arrival.

“There’s nothing more that I wanted than to cook my own baby,” she tells Women's Health magazine in their March 2019 issue that she fronts.

The Think Like A Man star suffered 8-9 miscarriages and underwent three years of failed IVF treatments, so you can imagine how ecstatic she was when Kaavia finally entered the world.

The YBF actress - who also helps raise D. Wade's sons from other relationships and his nephew - got down to three embryos, so surrogacy seemed like the best option. However, she wasn't really feeling the idea in the beginning.

“The idea of it felt like surrendering to failure,” Gabrielle says, when speaking about welcoming a surrogate into their lives. Yet she pushed past those emotions and shifted to focusing on finding the right woman to carry her baby. “Some people care about the race, religion, or food habits of their surrogate. I was like, ‘I want a reader.’” When Gabrielle met a potential surrogate who shared her love of books, she knew she’d found the one. “She said, ‘I love the smell of the pages,’” remembers Gabrielle. It was the sign she needed.

The Bring It On actress reveals she was terrified over how people would react to her using a surrogate.

“People want to see the bump, hear that you got hemorrhoids—they want to know you’re like them. I was like, ‘This is going to seem like the most Hollywood sh*t ever. Will I be embraced as a mom?’ It’s terrifying.” But when her baby finally arrived, those feelings were replaced by ones of fierce love, loyalty, and a serious sense of protectiveness. “I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is my baby,’” she recalls. “I wanted to fight everybody in that room for various reasons and no reason.”

 photo gabbyhealth4.png

While she has been trying to have a baby for the longest, she says welcoming her baby in her 40s was the perfect time for her.

“Any earlier and the FOMO would have greatly influenced how I parented,” she says. “I’ve seen it. I’ve done it. I’ve done it well. I’ve gotten all the T-shirts. Now I’m in the right mindset and mental space, and I’m open to being the best mom I can be.”

 photo gabbyhealth3.png

The first-time mom shares how she plans to raise her baby girl:

“I want to let her be free,” says Gabrielle, who wrestled with identity issues after moving, at a young age, from a mostly black neighborhood in Nebraska to a primarily white one in Pleasanton, California. “I want to instill in her morals, values. And then I want to give her space to fill in those gaps, fall on her ass, and make mistakes. Get an F because she didn’t study. Pick the wrong dude. Pick the wrong friends and figure it out. I don’t want to be super judge-y.”

As for her incredible bod, she reveals she's trying to stay consistent with a healthy eating pattern, she adds 15 to 20 minutes of daily cardio, plus strength training and Pilates. She prefers early morning sweat sessions due to her schedule. It keep her body fit and her head clear.

Gabby - who will star alongside Jessica Alba in the new Bad Boy spin-off television series"L.A.’s Finest" this May - also shares her self-care routine, which includes finding a moment alone to enjoy some quiet time (“I appreciate silence”), reading (“Let me just get a chapter in”), and listening to Affirmation Pod by Josie Ong.

You can read her full interview here.

By the way, the final episode of "Being Mary Jane" premieres April 16th.

Also on the magazine circuit....

 photo imaninstylecover.jpg

Iman is a LEGEND. There's no denying it. Not only was she killing it during her prime, she's still out here slaying magazine covers. Effortlessly.

Oh, and she isn't afraid to do what needs to be done for a great shot.  Of course she made it sexy AF :

YOSSSS!  Come on thru legendary baddie!  The 63-year-old legendary model covers InStyle magazine's March 2019 issue in a wet white t-shirt. And guess what? It was totally her idea.

“I’m 63 — why would I have a Supreme T-shirt?” she says. “It’s just a boring T-shirt. It’s too young and too hip. So I said, jokingly, ‘Why don’t we get it wet?’ And as I said it, everybody said, ‘Yeah!’ I was like, ‘Fuck, now I have to deliver.’ ”

A true fashion queen indeed.

The runway stunna chops it up with the magazine about her rise to fame in the fashion industry- which spans over four decades before she retired from the runway in 1989. She shares how she called for a boycott of brands who refused to use models of color back in the day:

“I remember at that time, the most coveted bag was from Céline,” she says. “Every girl, black, white, Asian, you name it, they wanted that bag. I’ve never owned one for the simple reason they didn’t use any black girls. They were saying it was for aesthetic reasons, like, velvet is out this season. They didn’t even know what they were saying.”

 photo imaninstyle2.jpg

“My plan is just loose,” she says. “It’s kind of weird, because I’ve worked all my life, from when I was 14 years old. I mean, I’ve never planned anything, besides Iman Cosmetics. I’ve stumbled into things, or things found me. So now I’m at a stage where I’ll just see what happens.”

Still a BADDIE.
