CREED II stars Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, and Florian Munteanu made their way to Brazil to chop it up with fans about the film during the Comic Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The trio sat on a panel for a screening of the film before it hits theaters there on January 24, 2019.

We can't lie, Florian is HOT.

While on the CREED II promo trail, we noticed Tessa has worn the color green at several events.TheYBF.com reached out to her stylists, Wayman + Micah, who explained the significance behind the hue. They told us, "Green is the color of the heart chakra. That was Tessa's feeling towards her character in the film, so she really wanted to play that up."

Sweet! She wears it well too.

Pandemonium ensued when MBJ and Florian got up close and personal with fans as they signed autographs and snapped pics.

Tessa, who plays MBJ's on-screen girlfriend, also sat down for the Sony presentation during Comic Con Sao Paulo to chop it up about the boxing film.

Michael B. Jordan landed on GQ's Men of the Year list, where he was dubbed this year's Leader of the Year. So, he was front and center - rocking Dior - at the 2018 GQ Men of the Year party held at Benedict Estate in Beverly Hills recently.

Floss then, sis. Cassie rolled up on the carpet serving thigh action in a shimmery Zhivago gown.

Before he was indicted on felony drug charges, singer Ty Dolla Sign hit up the carpet in all black everything.

While he's still recovering from a foot injury, Ne-Yo made sure he didn't miss out on the fun.

Evan Ross has been heavy on the promo trail with his wife Ashlee Simpson Ross for their reality show. They just released a joint EP, titled ASHLEE + EVAN, and they'll be heading out on tour starting January 9th.

YBF stars - Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Angela Bassett, Miss Jay and Alfre Woodard - came together to celebrate five high school students who have excelled academically despite facing extreme adversity both at home and in the classroom at the Children's Defense Fund's 29th annual Beat the Odds Awards ceremony held at the Skirball Cultural Center.

The 60-year-old actress snapped it up with Marian Wright Edelman, President of the Children's Defense Fund, after praising her on stage:

The Oscar nominated actress slayed this one-shouldered LBD. Simple, yet elegant.  She will be lending her voice for the new film Bumblebee, which hits theaters December 21st.

Spider-Man: Homecoming star Garcelle Beauvais, "Underground" actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell and "Queen Sugar" star Rutina Wesley hit the stage to speak. 

Garcelle had her twins, Jax and Jaid, by her side. They're getting so big.

Model Winnie Harlow made her way on the scene serving up featherly fierceness. The Victoria's Secret model stunned in an embroidered Atelier Versace gown with feather accents on the hemline.

Model Jourdan Dunn was all about that thigh action in a sparkly strapless 16Arlington gown that featured a feathered hem and waist.

The highlight of the night was when the Duchess of Sussex popped up on the scene, surprising everyone.

Meghan Markle was tapped to present her wedding dress designer, Givenchy's Clare Waight Keller, with the Womenswear Designer of the Year award. The mom-to-be rocked a black velvet one-shouldered evening gown from the French fashion house paired with metallic Tamara Mellon shoes. Her appearance was TOP secret, so much so, the Givenchy artistic director didn't even know about it and she fitted her for the event. 

“I’m not jok­ing, it was a com­plete and gen­uine sur­prise," she said backstage. "I re­ally did not know she was com­ing tonight at all! I was ac­tu­ally fit­ting her for the dress last week and she said, ‘Oh I’m go­ing to this thing next week, I think it’s Mon­day or Tues­day night, I have to check my cal­en­dar.’ I just did not think any­thing of it. Then she walked in!”

As always, folks won't let Meghan live. There are reports that Meghan broke Royal protocol with her dark colored nails. It's not official protocol, but it's said Queen Elizabeth II does not approve of colorful nail polish on members of the Royal family, according to U.K.'s OK! magazine.

Apparently, fake or colored nails are reportedly seen as “vulgar” in the royal family. Oh? Wearing a more neutral shade is part of the royal etiquette.

We're sure if the Queen was really up in arms over this, she would put her foot down.

Folks have also been coming for Meghan for "holding her baby bump too much." BYE haters! By the way, the Royal baby is expected to make his/her arrival this Spring.

We STAN a queen who's working hard to create opportunities for emerging talent.

Before 2018 wraps up, Issa Rae is making some big moves for the culture.

The "Insecure" creator/star just inked a multi-production deal with Columbia Pictures. Under the agreement, Issa's ColorCreative production company will be backing projects from emerging, diverse screenwriters, according to Variety. And it's a BIG deal.

The deal is a unique opportunity to help shift Hollywood's diversity needle that will allow more films and shows to be created that feature underrepresented talent both in front of and behind the camera. Variety notes Black Panther and shows like "Insecure" have moved the needle when it comes to diversity, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

Selected participants - to be announced in Spring 2019 - will work with Issa's production company and the studio to develop and write features based on THEIR original ideas. Nice!

According to a recent USC study, only 29.3% of characters in the 100 top grossing movies of 2017 were from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups.

“Working with Bryan Smiley and Columbia Pictures to further the mission ColorCreative set out to achieve four years ago in creating access for underrepresented writers, has been a dream come true,” the two-time Golden Globe nominated actress said in a statement. “All of the projects we are working on are fresh and promising and we can’t wait to continue the work. We hope to set a precedent and inspire the industry at large to invest in undiscovered talent, original IP, and fresh stories and perspectives.”

“Sara’s commitment to discovering and elevating budding voices along with her out-of-the-box thinking has made her a perfect and insightful addition to our team,” she said.

This news come after Issa signed a first-look development deal to create two more shows for HBO.

Angela Bassett - above at the Bumblebee global premiere in Hollywood slaying in a fringe Alberta Ferretti dress, Casadei shoes and a Emm Kuo NY clutch - is speaking Oscar wins into existence.

While chopping it up with TooFab on the Bumblebee promo trail, the 60-year-old actress told the site she already feels like Black Panther, which she stars in, is a sure win for Best Picture at the Oscars.

"In my mind, it has the Oscar," the Oscar-nominated actress said. "I think it deserves it."

Where is the lie? It was the highest-grossing movie at the box office this year. And it's the third highest grossing movie in the history of the United States box office.

"I think the movie works so brilliantly on so many levels," she continued. "It's superhero, Marvel Universe and all of that, but it connected with historians, it connected with culture, it connected globally, it just reached in and grabbed folks' hearts and their minds and shattered so many expectations and preconceived notions."

Fingers crossed that Ryan Coogler's Black Panther does a huge sweep at the Oscars, set to go down February 24, 2019 at 8:00 PM EST inside the Dolby Theatre in LA. The 2019 Oscar nominations will be announced on January 22, 2019. Get ready!

In very unfortunate news, a 9-year-old girl has taken her life after she was bullied for months at school. Details inside...

This story breaks our hearts.

McKenzie Adams, a 9-year-old fourth-grader from Alabama, took her own life last week after she was reportedly the target of constant racial taunts and name calling that went on for months.

McKenzie's mother, Jasmine Adams, told CBS News she blames the school because she reported the bullying to school officials and they assured her they would keep a close eye out on her. However, the school claims they had NO knowledge of ANY bullying towards McKenzie. Ms. Adams said she put her daughter in that school - U.S. Jones Elementary School in Demopolis - after she was being bullied at her previous school.

McKenzie use to ride to school with one of her classmates, who is a white boy, and she said the kids teased her about it. Her mother said one time a boy wrote her a letter where he called her the n-word and the b-word.

McKenzie's aunt, Eddwina Harris, spoke to PEOPLE and gave the chilling details about how the little girl took her life: 

“Something happened that day from one of these bullies that pushed my niece over to the edge,” Adams aunt, Eddwina Harris, 33, tells PEOPLE. “It’s an emotional roller coaster. We’re heartbroken.”

Harris says that Adams, who attended U.S. Jones Elementary School in Demopolis, returned home that day and did her homework like always. Adams then excused herself to go to the bathroom, and her grandmother noticed that the little girl had been gone longer than usual.

“She went to the bathroom and the door was locked. [Her grandmother] said, ‘Unlock the door. What are you doing?’ ” Harris recalls of Adams’ grandmother, whom the little girl lived with. “She ran and got a butter knife and she unlocked the door. She found McKenzie.”

So tragic.

The results of a police investigation is still pending, but so far, police claim they haven't found any evidence the school knew of the bullying. The Demopolis City Schools System offered it's condolences to the family and "there have been no findings of any reports of bullying by either the student or family."

Absolutely heartbreaking.  We hope ALL parents learn from this tragedy and check in with their children and condemn any bullying ways.  R.I.P. McKenzie.

Naomie Harris is about to hit the big screen in a new cop thriller that sounds like it'll have us on the edge of our seats.

The Oscar nominee has been tapped to lead director Deon Taylor's new cop thriller, Black and Blue, for Sony Screen Gems.

Based on a screenplay from Peter A. Dowling, Naomie will play a rookie cop in New Orleans who witnesses corrupt officers murdering a drug dealer, an event that is captured by her body cam, according to Deadline. When they then fail to execute her she escapes and is hunted throughout the night by the narcs who are desperate to destroy the incriminating footage.

Chick will be on the run for her life.

Deon Taylor's Hidden Empire Film Group will produce the film with Sean Sorensen where Hidden Empire partner Roxanne Avent will serve as executive producer. Eric Paquette, senior vice president of production at Screen Gems, will oversee the project.

Naomie recently starred in Netflix’s Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (which debuted last week)and she's also about to start filming Bond 25 to reprise her role as Eve Moneypenny.

Janelle Monae is gearing up to play another powerful black woman on the big screen.

Following her role as Mary Jackson in the biographical drama Hidden Figures, the Dirty Computer singer has signed on to star in The Glorias: A Life On The Road, a biopic about the life of iconic feminist Gloria Steinem.

The "PYNK" singer will portray civil rights activist/co-founder of Ms. magazine with Steinem Dorothy Pitman Hughes (below, right), joining actresses Julianne Moore and Alicia Vikander.

THR reports:

Moore and Alicia Vikander will star as Steinem at various points in her career as a journalist and activist crusading for women's rights. Monae will be playing Dorothy Pitman Hughes, the women's and civil rights activist that co-founded Ms. Magazine with Steinem.

Julie Taymor is directing from a script based on Steinem’s memoir. Alex Saks is producing via her Fifty-Four Pictures, along with Taymor and Lynn Hendee. Steinem and Amy Richards are executive producing.

The Moonlight actress is PERFECT for this role as she often speaks out against injustices. By the way, Janelle will be in the running for two Grammy Awards this year.

Another movie coming down the pipeline...

Break out the jump ropes and every song from the neighborhood.  Girls Trip director Malcolm D. Lee is about to take us back to our childhood with his newest project.

The Night School director is set to produce The Untitled Double Dutch Project at Universal, based off an original idea by producer/writer Thembi Banks which she will write, according to Deadline. The site reports:

The story we hear will revolve around the journey of a coach and his double-dutch jump rope team.

Banks is currently the co-producer on the Untitled Hilde Lysiak Project for Apple, and she’s a 2018 HBO Directing Fellow, and was a 2017 Directing Fellow for Film Independent’s Project Involve.

Lee will produce Double Dutch under his banner Blackmaled Productions. Universal Vice President of Production Sara Scott is overseeing the project on behalf of the studio.

It's long overdue, but now it's her time to shine.

Janet Jackson will be inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, after being nominated three times over the years.

The "Made For Now" singer will be joining her brother Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 as members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, so she's in great company.

The Rock Hall will soon unveil its official 2019 inductee exhibit that will feature exclusive memorabilia from Janet's groundbreaking career.

The 2019 class also includes The Cure, Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, and The Zombies. The 34th annual ceremony is set to go down inside Brooklyn's Barclays Center on March 29, 2019.

Last weekend, Nipsey Hussle got into a huge brawl outside of a LA club after celebrating his girlfriend Lauren London's birthday. It was reported some men accused the west coast rapper of starting a fight earlier in the night inside the club, but, Nispey had nothing to do with it. The men approached Nipsey about the fight and that's when all hell broke loose.

Now, new footage from inside the club has surfaced that shows the fight the guys were mad about. O.T. Genasis punched a guy inside of Nightingale in WeHo after a scuffle started.

The same man he punched is the same man who approached Nipsey outside of the club. He reportedly confused the two. They both were wearing plaid shirts, but they clearly look like two different people. Maybe they were sippin' heavy on that drank.

Meek Mill is still on the promo trial for criminal justice reform. The Philly rapper stopped by "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" to chop it up about the roller-coaster year he has had. The 31-year-old was released from prison earlier this year and now, he has the No. album on the Billboard 200. He's also No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart. He can thank his new album,Championships, for that.

During the interview, the criminal justice reform advocate talked about his background, several run ins with the law, why changes need to be made to the criminal justice system, how he has grown from his prison experience and more. Peep his interview above.

If you watch the daytime talk show, Loni's co-hosts have pretty much been spilling tea about her relationship with James. In a cute way though, no shady business. On the show, Loni said after 10 dates a man is more likely to seek a serious relationship with a woman.

“I’ll tell you why 10 dates are important,” Loni said. “You really get to know a person… we’ve been to a gala, two movies, a play, dinner with friends, we’ve been to one party, one concert, one trip to Vegas (no, they didn’t get married!), and we went to two movie premieres.

She continued,

“And in that time you really get to understand somebody’s personality and how they act. You’ve got to remember, we both work, and he’s got his own business, so we don’t get to see each other every week.”

Needless to say, they've already enjoyed their 10th date, so it's official for these two.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards announced its 2019 nominees and they totally shut out ALL women of color. Like, really?

So they overlooked Regina King's supporting role in If Beale Street Could Talk? Did they not see Viola Davis kill it in Widows? Tuh.

The fact that YBF ladies were snubbed in all categories has folks in confusion:

While the SAG Awards were being extra shady, Regina King did scoop up 2 Golden Globe nominations. She in the running for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role in Netflix's "Seven Seconds" series and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk. Despite that whole convicted sex offender and attempted murderer-turned-manslaughter felon thing,  Nicki still wants to get married and have kids ASAP with Kenneth, this according to sources who talked to TMZ.

Sources close to the "Queen" MC tell us Nicki and Kenneth Petty have already had the marriage and baby talk -- this after only a couple months of dating. We're told Nicki is serious about the prospect of marrying Kenneth and having his kids ... because she believes he's that good a man.

She's cut off comments underneath most of her posts with him.  And she's been blocking her own Barbz on Twitter who have an issue with her dating this guy.

While talking about recording his new album in a small town in the Bahamas, he confessed how he goes a month without changing his clothes. Oh?

"I will be quite honest with you, I get into this thing because when you're on tour and when you're doing all this stuff you change clothes every night, you can't wear the same suit you wore last night, you have to always change," he said. "So, I get there and I'm like, 'Screw it, I'm not changing clothes. I don't want to change clothes.' I wore the same jeans and jean shirt for 30 days."

"Shatter and Drop Kick, her sidekick... he does his own thing. She needs to keep him place. She's the brains of the operation, and they're trying to find out where Bumblebee is and extract some information from him about where the Autobots are. ESPN has named Simone Biles - the world's most decorated gymnasist (woot!) - the Most Dominant Athlete of the Year. Here's why:

Simone Biles unleashed a historic display of athleticism at the world championships, winning her record fourth all-around title by her largest margin yet, leading the U.S. team to gold, again by a record margin, and taking four other medals. Word on the curb is that the singer-songwriter has been cozying up to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Danielle Staub, who's currently getting a divorce from her estranged husband Marty Caffrey.  They JUST got married, by the way, and their wedding is currently airing now on ths season of "RHONJ".   Sources told Page Six they spotted the "Forever My lady" singer getting kissy with the reality star at Aloft hotel in Harlem over the weekend. The site noted the reality star attended Teddy Riley's “The Kings and Queens of New Jack Swing” concert, where Al also performed, at the Apollo.

“They were making out at the bar. He hugged up on her, and they looked very cozy. They didn’t care who was there,” the source claimed. “It wasn’t a packed lobby either . . . nobody was there. She stood out like a sore thumb. It didn’t seem like their first rodeo.”

Everyone is talking about Kodak Black walking out of a HOT 97 interview after radio host Ebro Darden brought up his pending sexual misconduct case. Now, everyone is responding, including Kodak. Get it all inside...

"ZEZE" rapper Kodak Black is currently on the promo trail for his recently released album, Dying To Live. And he's making headlines, but not for his music.

The self-proclaimed project baby stopped by HOT 97's "Ebro In The Morning," where he was asked about a pending sexual assault case by Ebro. A little info...

Kodak was released from a South Carolina jail last December on a $100,000 due to an open sexual assault case against him. He's facing a charge of criminal sexual conduct, and not many details have been released to the public. As of now, no trial date has been set due to a large caseload, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Ebro felt the need to touch on the "sensitive" case during the interview.

"We take sexual assault here serious, and we can't get into details, but we hope to have you back so we can have a deeper conversation about that. It's a serious topic and we're hearing these stories a lot," Ebro said.

The 21-year-old Florida native wasn't feeling it, so he walked out of the interview."Change the subject, or I'm finna walk out," Kodak said. "Talk about something else."

Ebro basically said Kodak can then, because he's not going to control HIS interview.

Following the walk out, the "Tunnel Vision" rapper - rocking a mask again - stopped by Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" to explain why he ended the conversation at their rival station.

"I feel like people don't want to see this happy-go-lucky Kodak," he said. "The interview was about to end so good... I wanted to tear this whole radio station up. I felt like that. But at the same time I'm sitting down with all these people talking money. So if I would've showed out, I would've scared my money away again."

He continued,

"My momma, my family, my people hit me up, 'I'm so proud of you how you handled that,'" he said. "Cause you gonna put the police on me."

Veteran rapper and fellow Florida native Trick Daddy came to Kodak's defense on social media following his HOT 97 interview.

Trick called out Ebro for bringing up Kodak's pending sexual assault case.

“Man, what’s up with you police ass n*ggas,” he said. “Let me tell you radio n*ggas something. Y’all getting out of line. Ebro, disrespecting the homie. You tried a young n*gga. Kodak my little n*gga. If nobody gonna step up, I’m gonna step up. I want smoke.” Lordt.

The "Nann" rapper went on to call Ebro a "fake a** Charlamagne" (fighting words TBH) and told him to keep Kodak's name out his mouth:

If Kodak is convicted of the sexual assault, he faces up to 30 years in prison.  Honestly, we have ZERO issue asking an interviewee about an obvious elephant in the room.  We do expect for that to be applies consistently, though, like Fabolous should have been asked about his domestic violence situation with Emily B. during his recent Hot 97 interview.

Yesterday was Offset's birthday and he made one wish: To get his wife Cardi B back. See his apology video, plus peep Cardi's promo for "Carpool Karaoke" inside...

A little over a week after Cardi B announced she and her husband Offset were calling it quits, he's now pouring his heart out in an attempt to get her back.

The rumor mill has already said the Migos rapper has been trying hard behind-the-scenes to win Bardi back. Now, he's publicly apologizing to try and right his wrongs. Hmph.

Yesterday, the "Stir Fry" rapper celebrated his 27th birthday, and he decided to upload a video on his Instagram to share his one and only wish for his birthday.

"I only have one birthday wish and that's to get my wife back, Cardi. We're going through a lot of things right now, a lot of things in the media," he said. "I want to apologize to you Cardi. I embarrassed you. I made you look crazy."

He addressed the alleged cheating rumors, which he claimed he didn't actually cheat, however, he was entertaining another woman and that was wrong.

"I was partaking in activity that I shouldn't have been partaking in, and I apologize. You know what I'm saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God's promise and being a selfish, messed up husband. I'm trying to be a better person. I want to get this off my shoulders. I want to get this off my back. I apologize to you Cardi. I love you."

He continued,

"I want to be able to spend the rest of my life with you," he then said. "I apologize. I am sorry for what I have done to you. I didn't f*ck that girl, but I was entertaining it, you know what I'm saying? I apologize, and I love you, and I hope you forgive me. My birthday wish is just to have you back."

And he also mentioned he wants to spend time with his daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, for her first Christmas.

"Kulture, I want to spend Christmas with you," he said.

Oh, and everyone seems to have something to say. Other celebs (who have confirmed cheating pasts) like T.I., Stevie J, Kirk Frost and DJ Envy, hopped in Offset's comments with "prayer hands":

Earlier yesterday, rapper 21 Savage brought Offset out during his performance at the 2018 Rolling Loud Los Angeles festival. After wishing Offset a Happy Birthday, he coached the crowd to shout for Cardi to take Offset back. Check it:

Bardi has yet to respond. There have been reports that she has been contemplating whether or not she wants to work things out, but she herself hasn't addressed the topic.

On Monday...

"The Late Late Show" released a preview of the "I Like It" rapper's upcoming segment on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, and the episode can't air fast enough. Bardi will be appearing on the show a month after her husband and the Migos brought the laughs.

Y'all know Cardi can't drive (she has said this several times), so we were surprised she hopped behind the driver's seat during the carpool session. And it was a huge fail. Check the promo clip below:

Congrats are in order for Remy Ma and her husband Papoose! They just welcomed their first child together and it's a girl! More inside...

Remy Ma (38) and Papoose (40) just got the best Christmas gift. The rappers are now the proud parents of a precious baby girl, who made her arrival yesterday (December 14th). It's their first child together.

After what Pap called a "tough labor," the Golden Child has finally arrived and her parents are over the moon!  So glad everyone is happy and healthy.

The "Melanin Magic" rapper hopped on Instagram to announce the Baby Mackie's arrival, first posting an Instagram story with a pink background that read: "It's a girl!"

Pap's daughter (from a previous relationship), Dejanae Mackie, also hopped on Instagram to announce the arrival of her baby sister:

We all know Pap has been wanting this since...forever. He shared his excitement on Instagram after the baby's birth, writing, "I found a new love!!! Yeahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! Earlier in the day, Pap shared with their fans that Remy was fighting through tough labor.

“Tough labor…but my wife is still fighting through it,” he wrote on social media.“She’s a warrior! Keep us in your prayers! #thegoldenchild is on the way.”

In July, Remy and Pap announced they were four months pregnant at their super gorge outside wedding vow renewal that had us tearing up. It's been a rough road for the twosome as they embarked on a journey to use IVF to help with getting pregnant. You may recall, Rem suffered a devastating miscarriage in January 2017 and was told she could no longer get pregnant naturally.

Baby Mackie will join Remy's teenaged son and three of Pap's teeange kids from previous relationships.

Congrats to the couple!
