Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are gearing up for a Good Burger sequel if the Nickelodeon honchos give it the greenlight. Deets on a possible sequel, plus check out the promo for Season 5 of "Black Ink Crew Chicago" inside...
A Good Burger sequel is in the works. That is, if Nickelodeon decides to give it the greenlight.
Photogs caught up with "Good Burger" star Kel Mitchell outside of A Simple Bar in Los Angeles recently to grill him about a sequel to the cult classic and he's totally down. In fact, he and his co-star Kenan Thompson want to bring the 90s teen comedy film back on the scene to gives us all the nostalgia feels.
Last week, the "SNL" star revealed to "What What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen that they're both down to do a Good Burger sequel. Now, Kel is confirming the news.
"The conversations have already started," Kel confirmed. "Definitely down. We have talked. We've had meeting. Kenan talked about that. We definitely did."
Apparently, there's an issue with Nickelodeon execs about how the sequel will be written since there has reportedly been a lot of turnover at the top of the network.
However, Kel seems optimistic that it will eventually happen. The "Game Shakers" actor said after reuniting with Kenan for a "Good Burger" sketch on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" three years ago is what kicked things in gear for a possible reunion. He also said he's open to doing the sequel with the original cast of Nickelodeon's "All That."
Over the years, there were rumors that Kenan and Kel were feuding, but that's not the case. They just have a lot of things going on in their lives separately, which sort of forced them to go their separate ways. Kenan has been doing "SNL" and Kel stars on the Nickelodeon show "Game Shakers."
“It wasn’t so much a feud, but when you see two people doing so much work together and then you don t see that people just assume that there’s beef or whatever, but we just had different lives and different paths at the moment and now our paths can come back together, which is exciting for me,” Kenan told PEOPLE in 2016.
Earlier this year, Kenan and Kel reunited again on an episode of Nick Cannon's "Wild 'N Out," where Kel dropped the famous "Good Burger" line:
By the way, Nick Cannon is a former "All That" star. We're here for it! Come on, Nickelodeon. Make it happen.

9Mag is BACK together again! Shocker...
Last season, we saw 9Mag honcho Ryan Henry trash his tattoo shop and open up a new spot in Chicago. The rest of the crew decided to take over the shop as part owners, however that ish didn't last long. Because, busines skills.
By the end of the season, Ryan was able to get his original shop back. And apparently, the old gang is the new gang.
This season, as new artists emerge and familiar faces return, the crew strives to salvage the true identity of 9Mag. Ryan reclaims his throne as the shop’s boss and Chicago’s tattoo kingpin. He is also finally putting himself first professionally and personally after recently becoming single. Van is still wearing his 9Mag tattoo with pride and refuses to be excluded from the team. Charmaine tries to navigate life after Loyal Ink, but misses the excitement of the old crew. Don is repairing his marriage and stepping up as a leader in the shop. After making strides in his music career, Phor is hopeful about the future of 9Mag. Lily has a renewed focus on her work, but won’t tolerate disloyalty.
Season 5 of "Black Ink Crew Chicago" premieres on Wednesday, January 2nd at 9PM EST. Y'all ready for the shenanigans?

CREED II director Steve Caple Jr. is making history!
The boxing sequel has grossed more than $100 million, ushering him into an elite group of black directors. He's now the fourth black director in 2018 to have a $100M grossing film domestically. Nice!
Black Film reports:
For this year, Caple Jr. joins Ryan Coogler (Creed director), who had the blockbuster Black Panther ($700M, 3rd all-time domestically, & the top grossing film this year), Antoine Fuqua, who directed Denzel Washington in The Equalizer 2 with $102M, and Ava DuVernay, who became the first Black female to direct a $100M grossing film with A Wrinkle in Time ($100.4M). All four films have Black leads.
In 2017 Jordan Peele (Get Out), F. Gary Gray (Fast 8) and Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip) had crossed that mark.

Kim unexpectedly passed away on November 15th, shocking all of her family, friends and fans. As of the time of this post, her cause of death is listed as "deferred" after The Los Angeles County Coroner ordered an "additional investigation" into her death.
Diddy and Kim's twin girls Jessie and D'Lila Combs are seemingly doing well after the passing of their mother.
Last night, their pops hosted an 80s themed birthday bash at World of Wheels roller skating rink in LA to celebrate their 12th birthday. The girls were all smiles in their neon 80s gear as they snapped it up with their dad (rocking a "Sean C" sweatshirt) and siblings, Christan Combs and Chance Combs. The Bad Boy honcho revealed "Sean C" was his nickname growing up.
The twins' actual birthday isn't until December 21st, but Daddy Combs decided to throw the bash a week early since people usually go out of town during the holidays.
"I'm just happy that my girls are smiling and healthy and happy," Diddy said in a video posted on his Instagram Stories.

Dang, wish we could have gotten an invite. Fun times.
The #TakeOffsetBack saga continues. This time, Offset had the nerve to interrupt Cardi B's Rolling Loud headlining performance to beg her to take him back. However, she wasn't impressed in the least bit. See the clips, plus find out why Offset fans are PISSED with the NYC raptress inside...
Here we go [insert eye roll].
After Offset took to his Instagram account to publicly apologize to his wife Cardi B for "entertaining" other females, he's back at it again. This time, he took it up a notch.
Last night, the Migos rapper crashed Cardi's headlining set during the Rolling Loud Festival in LA. It's the first year in the festival's history that a woman headlined.
He popped up on stage carrying a bouquet of white roses as the production crew rolled out flower arrangements that spelled out "Take Me Back Cardi."
The two share the same management, so that may be why it was so easy for him to interrupt her set and be given a mic.
The 27-year-old rapper, who celebrated his birthday on Friday, hopped on the mic and said, "I just want to tell you I'm sorry bruh...in front of the world. I love you." Bruh?
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper didn't look the least bit impressed and seemingly cursed him out and kicked him off stage. Likely because he's putting in FAR more work on this manipulative, very public apology tour than he put in to not cheat multiple times.
— Naads Syann (@pinkpeace_nadia) December 16, 2018
She looks unhappy and unenthused. And has for the last few weeks. We're sure it’s all wearing on her because she was head over heels in love and divorce is hard on anyone. Especially a brand new mom in the public eye.
Offset thought he was going to bring out those flowers, which she JUST posted a couple days ago were her fave, and everything was going to be peachy keen. Nah, bruh. Remember the flower arrangements she shared on her IG that she was gushing over? Try again, Set.
Folks are pissed at Offset for doing this, and rightfully so:
Cardi B was the first FEMALE headliner in Rolling Loud history! Honestly, it’s so fucked up that he even did that. Like, you really gonna be out here taking up her spotlight and making her set about you? Nah bro.
— Romario Bautista (@coquihanii) December 16, 2018
This video makes me uncomfortable af. Offset should of take the hint and stop apologizing to Cardi. At this point Cardi dont wanna hear his apologies. Offset need to lay low for a while and think about what he has done. Nothing working at this point.
— Pretty Eye Hustler (@PretyEyeTrapper) December 16, 2018
This is getting out of hand. He’s interrupting her work now https://t.co/YMV1ncYvM9
— Ivie Ani (@ivieani) December 16, 2018
Offset disrupting Cardi's performance is like your ex running up on. you at your job in the middle of a meeting. This is not acceptable or cute. Or romantic. It's creepy and unstable.
— Demetria L. Lucas (@demetriallucas) December 16, 2018
The day before, rapper 21 Savage brought Offset out on stage and had the crowd chant for Cardi to take him back. Sighs...
As celebs continue to chime in on the #TakeOffsetBack train, rapper The Game just recently hopped on the bandwagon. Here's what he had to say about it all:
Where was everyone when Offset was out here doing Cardi dirty for the last couple years? Are any of them posting videos on their social media accounts telling HIM not to cheat?! And telling HIM how important it is to "keep a marriage together"? Nope. Move around, folks.
Constant public begging is manipulative, whether he realizes it or not, because the public often sides with a man. And when Cardi's response isn't what they want, she will soon become the bad guy. Even men see this:
Offset's first public apology was necessary and enough. Leave her be to take her time - as much as she needs - to figure things out.
Since the cheating allegations were brought to light and the "I Like It" rapper announced they were breaking up, fans have been dragging Offset, but Cardi isn't with it. She encouraged her fans to stop coming for the "father of my child."

Meanwhile, her new Savage x Fenty pieces as her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on alert, she's still reportedly with her boo Hassan Jameel, and she recently put her LA mansion on the market months after a break in. Everything inside..
It looks like Rihanna is finally gearing up to give her fans some new music.
Back in April, Rih teased that R9 was coming and now, it appears it's almost here. The "Work" singer's vocal producer Kuk Harrell hopped on Instagram Live recently to let everyone know R9 sounds "amazing."
Peep the clip below:

So, it must be done done...right?
R9 will be her ninth studio album, the follow up to her critically acclaimed album, ANTI.
Last month, the Grammy Award winning singer shared a silent video of herself dancing it up in the studio on her Instagram stories. Since she didn't have any sound in the video, fans believe she's listening to a new track off her upcoming album. And they may be right. Check it:
— Fenty Data (@FentyData) November 9, 2018
It's rumored that the 30-year-old singing will be exploring her Caribbean roots and that her ninth studio album with be dancehall-inspired. The Bajan baddie mentioned the possibility of creating a reggae album in her VOGUE June 2018 cover story.
"She plans to make a reggae album," Chioma Nnandi shared. "Though it’s too soon to name a full list of collaborators, one early influence may be Supa Dups, the Jamaican-born record producer who has worked with such dancehall greats as Beenie Man, Sean Paul, and Elephant Man."
In July, Rolling Stonereported Rihanna has "500 records for this project [from] different producers and writers,” one producer (who asked to remain anonymous) shared.
The anonymous producer shared she's only choosing 10 tracks for the project.
“They’re only choosing 10 records. They’ve been having writing camps and trying to keep them quiet for almost a year and a half now. I’ve been flying to Miami, flying to L.A., cutting records nonstop for this project.”
The album will reportedly be dedicated to Rihanna's reggae idol, Bob Marley.
We're here for it.
Before Christmas rolls around, Rihanna dropped some new Savage x Fenty lingerie. The fashion fanatic slipped on a few sexy pieces and shared some hot shots of herself modeling in her newest designs on social media:
The flicks were SO hot (especially the topless ones), her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown couldn't contain himself. He hopped in her comments section with the googly eyed emojis:
Oh, Breezy. Nice try, but she's still all wrapped up in love with her billionaire boyfriend, Hassan Jameel.
The pop star was spotted on date night with her beau at her favorite restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica a few weeks ago. According to E! News, bodyguards escorted RiRi to a private dining room in the back of the restaurant, where she and Hassan dined for over three hours. The couple started dating in summer 2017 and appear to still be going strong.

All hell broke loose on the lastest episode of "Black Ink" and everyone's talking about it. Let's discuss the ratchet shenanigans inside...
"Black Ink" is KNOWN for brawling, fussing, heated arguments and the like. This entire season has been Ceasar vs. everybody! But the last episode of the reality show has everyone hating tattoo king Ceaser and his right hand man/cousin Teddy Ruks.
The crew jetted to Upstate NY to party it up with the bride-to-be Young Bae before she makes her way down the aisle to marry her fiance Rob. They were laced with butlers, caviar, and a gigantic mansion for the weekend. "Father of the Bride" Ceaser - which Bae asked him to be for the day - was praised for going all out for the pre-wedding festivities.
Everything was all good, until Bae said she was inviting Ceaser's friend-turned-enemy O'Sh*t (aka Richard) and his (alleged) scammer of a wife. When they arrived, Ceaser got on his a**hole steez and an argument ensued. After sharing words (and almost blows), Richard and his wife eventually left.
With tension still all in the air, Donna and boyfriend Alex walked in. Things went from bad to worse in seconds. On the previous episode, Donna had gotten into one of her many heated arguments with Ceasar, and he fired her for the 100th time. So he definitely wasn't happy to see her and Alex - who still works there - walk in.
As soon as Donna and Alex walked in, Ceaser started coming for them, asking them if they had anything they wanted to say to him.
Even though the Black Ink honco was already turned up, Donna and Alex tried to keep the peace, but Ceaser wouldn't let it go. Next thing you know, Ceaser gets up, Teddy jumps up (which he didn't do when Richard got buck) and a huge brawl broke out with Teddy and Ceaser attacking Alex...for literally no reason.
Watch the fight go down below:
After the episode aired, fans have been dragging Ceaser and Teddy for FILTH for trying to jump Alex. Here's some of what folks have been saying:
— Kai (@2flyy_ky) December 13, 2018
Teddy bitch ass tried to sneak him and missed, and that's when ceaser bitch ass got one hit in when Alex dodged Teddy's cheap shot...which I think caused the knot on Alex head!! Teddy wasn't doing nothing but pushing and grabbing him!! Alex was throwing HANDS #blackinkcrew

How teddy sneak punch Alex and STILL miss
Tryna be M’Baku wakanda ass
Ceaser look like a toddler
Alex STILL held his own, and Donna was on her bully too#BlackInkCrew
— Fatty (@CarAmelFerocity) December 14, 2018
Yeah, it was clear Teddy had pent up anger from his situatonship with Tatti that he oddly stayed quiet about, as well as al the drama with his brother taking a plea deal and going to jail.
Still, this isn't even the HALF of what folks are saying about them.
After receiving so much backlash, Teddy decided to apologize to Alex, and then delete it. Here's what he said:
Alex caught wind of Teddy's apology and called him out for not picking up the phone and apologizing man to man. He also reposted several posts that fans put up about the fight. Get into his response below:
Alex is WITH the sh*ts.
Ceaser hopped on Instagram Live to try to explain why he went off on Alex and Donna. He said he has taken a lot of sh*t from people and he just got fed up. He says the public doesn't see all the disrespect he takes, due to editing. He also said he's NOT apologizing until Alex apologizes to him. Wait...what?
Peep the clip below:
Oh, and before the episode aired, Ceaser posted up a reunion picture with his "family", former "Black Ink" stars Puma and Sassy:
Hmm...we wonder if this means these two will be returning to the show since he (and Teddy) have "fired" Sky, Donna, Alex AND Jadah.
This is a whole mess!
Daniel Caesar has a new cut and new boo...well, new to us. Meanwhile, Erykah Badu is trying to get "flewed out" with her social media thirst trap flicks. Get it all inside...
R&B crooner Daniel Caesar has changed up his looks and he's all wrapped up in love.
Ditching his dreads, the Canadian singer shaved all his hair off for a low "Caesar" cut. See what we did there? Ha.
We almost didn't recognize him.
It's def an upgrade. The "Best Part" singer has been contemplating cutting his hair for a while now. He tweeted about it back in 2016:
Was considering cutting my hair, but this morning an old lady told me God is going to judge me for having long hair so I'm gunna try my luck
— Daniel Caesar (@DanielCaesar) April 30, 2016
He's not only singing about love, he's all wrapped up in love with his own girl. And she's mad cute. Giving us Aaliyah vibes.
The Grammy nominated singer shared a coupledom shot of himself and his lady on the beach somewhere in paradise. And they look happy. Good for them. We love black love.

Meek Mill had some time on his hands and decided to hop on Twitter for a lengthy Q&A with his fans to past time. Dude is fun-ty. And he kept all of his responses raw AF. We learned his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj blocked him from her social media accounts after he tried to lurk on her page to peep her new boo, Kenny "Zoo" Petty.
Oop. Guess he was right when he said he hasn't been in Nicki's DMs after she made claims he was on her "Barbie Dreamz" track.
A few fans probed the Philly rapper about what he likes in the bedroom, and he did not disappoint. He likes feet, sucking toes, spit, eating a**, regular chicks as well as famous chicks, and more. Peep the tweets:
Oh, really Meek?
When asked what he thought about Kanye West and Drake's current beef, he didn't have much to say:
He was also asked to weigh in on Cardi B taking her estranged husband Offset back:

"Growing Up Hip Hop" is set to return next month, but before the celebuspawns let fans back into their world, TheYBF.com got the chance to chop it up the cast to find out what viewers can expect from this upcoming season. Find out what they told us about social media backlash, keeping relationships private, new projects, and more. Plus, catch a sneak peek at the season finale of "Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta" inside...
"Growing Up Hip Hop" is set to return for its fourth season next month. And things are going to get realer than real for the Hip Hop heirs as they navigate carving their own lane outside of their parents' shadows.
YBF correspondent Unique Chapman caught up with cast members Angela Simmons, Vanessa Simmons, JoJo Simmons and Romeo Miller at the Gramercy Park Hotel in NYC recently so we could find out how they really feel.
Living your best life in the limelight is hard as hell. And it's even harder now that we have social media where people can share their unfiltered opinions with no one to check them.
It's difficult when fans and the media keep commenting and giving their input on every move they make, but the "GUHH' cast is learning how to not let Internet trolls get to them.
"I think the best person to explain that is Angela, honestly," JoJo told TheYBF.com."I see a lot of people on social media always coming at her for the things she does, or how she lives, or even when she goes through certain situations and it's like, kind of not fair that someone just can't be them. They always have to be this reality star. I know Romeo said 'you have to appreciate it,' and we do appreciate it, but sometimes you just have to have times to be you and go through things on your own without opinions of other people who don't even know you."
Last month, Angela's son's father, Sutton Tennyson, was murdered in the driveway of his home. Last week, Angela and her friends jetted to Miami to enjoy all of the Art Basel festivities and she was pounded with criticism where people openly expressed that she was "celebrating" too soon after losing her son's father to gun violence.
"I think for the most part it's just about ignoring it and doing what you're going to do regardless, letting them say what they have to say because everyone is going to have an opinion anyway," Angela responded. "I would definitely say it's just about doing you."
Angela's sister Vanessa Simmons said she goes to Angela often for advice when fans are bashing her on social media. She said her sister always gives the best advice:
"She's like, 'You know what? Let it roll off your shoulders. What are we going to do? People are going to have an opinion no matter what," Vanessa shared. "You could be giving back $1 million and someone will be like, 'Why not $2 million?'"
Romeo Miller then dropped some gems about other people's opinions:
"I feel in this day in age, the true key to success and your happiness: You can't worry about people who do so little for you," Romeo explained. "I think when you understand that, that's when you hit that true growth. That's what I like about this cast. We get it," Romeo shared. "We understand that you can be on the right path, doing a positive thing, but as soon as something negative happen, or somebody don't like something they see, they're going to make a comment about it, but you can't worry about that. You have to know what you signed up for."
"The thing with this generation, everybody is like their own reality star. Everybody has social media. So, it kind of sucks because now even little kids have to go through this where they're getting bullied and picked on, and that's just the world we live. You have to definitely have tough skin nowadays."
He such a fresh breath of air.
Not only is social media backlash an issue, living out a relationship in the public eye is hard as well.
JoJo, who popped the question to his longtime girlfriend/mother of his child Tanice Amira back in August, revealed the lessons he learned from watching both his mother and father's marriages. And he def soaked in some good wisdom when it comes to relationships.
"Basically, you keep your marriage within your marriage," JoJo said. "And what I mean by that is, everything that goes on between you and your fiance or wife, it stays between you two. You guys keep that strong bond together. Don't let anybody come and try to rock the boat and I learned that through both of my parents' marriages. They stayed strong for years with their significant others. That taught me that there's true love out here and you can make it work."
Good advice. Whether you're a celebrity or not, keeping your marriage/relationship between you and your SO is great words to live by when trying to do this thing called life together.
The Simmons sisters also dished on their sneaker brand, Pastry. The shoe making sisters said when they first released their Pastry sneaker collection, they hit a sweet moment in time because there wasn't anything else like it. If they bring it back, Vanessa said her goal would be to just release a small capsule collection.
"It would be just that one time thing for the culture," Vanessa explained. "I love what we were able to accomplish with Pastry and I think we really did something unique."
Vanessa said they will explore the Pastry conversation more on the upcoming season.
So what can fans expect from the new season? The cast said they will be opening up in ways they haven't in previous seasons. "We're getting a little more comfortable," Vanessa shared. Fans will get to see Vanessa and Angela work on strengthing their sisterhood, coming together on new projects, and how they will resolve their issues with one another.
The "GUHH" cast also dropped some advice for young people trying to build a brand of their own.
"Always keep going," Vanessa said. "Don't ever give in. It's OK to take constructive criticism if someone is giving you advice. You just have to keep it moving, keep growing and never give up."
"When you quit is when you fail. The only time you fail is when you quit," JoJo said.

"Fresh Prince" alum Alfonso Riberio is sick of folks stealing "The Carlton" dance so he has launched TWO lawsuits to get the coins he feels he deserves. Meanwhile, Blac Chyna finally receives a court date to battle it out against the Kardashians. Get all the deets inside...
Alfonso Riberio is sick of folks stealing "The Carlton," the dance he made famous as a star on the hit 90s sitcom, "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air."
Following rapper 2 Milly suing Epic Games for his "Milly Rock" dance, the actor/TV personality has pulled the trigger on a lawsuit against "Fortnite" creators for jacking his dance his character, Carlton Banks, performed on the show throughout the series.
According to the legal documents, the former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant - who's in the midst of copyrighting "The Carlon" dance - claims Fortnite stole the dance, which they dubbed the "Fresh Emote." How ironic.
The game was released in January 2018 and has become a global sensation. Since he feels like the "Fresh Emote" is "identical" to "The Carlton," he's suing Epic Games (who owns "Fortnite") for what he calls an “unauthorized use” of his signature move.
“The reaction from many players worldwide was immediate recognition of the emote as embodying The Dance and, in turn, Ribeiro,” the lawsuit claims. “Indeed, by naming the emote ‘Fresh,’ Epic intentionally induced a direct connection between the in-game purchase and the show where The Dance started, ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.’ That connection implied an endorsement of that in-game purchase by Ribeiro.”
Alfonso's attorney, David Hecht of Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP, told TMZ, "It is widely recognized that Mr. Ribeiro’s likeness and intellectual property have been misappropriated by Epic Games in the most popular video game currently in the world, Fortnite."
He continued, "Epic has earned record profits off of downloadable content in the game, including emotes like “Fresh.” Yet Epic has failed to compensate or even ask permission from Mr. Ribeiro for the use of his likeness and iconic intellectual property."
In the documents, Ribeiro made claims that Epic Games has “consistently sought to exploit African-American talent … by copying their dances and movements and sell them through emotes.”
Other dance moves that have allegedly been "columbus'd" for the game include Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot" dance and Donald Faison’s signature dance from NBC's “Scrubs.”
Oh, and Epic Games aren't the only ones being served. Riberio also launched a similar lawsuit against the creators of the basketball game, "NBA 2K." In that lawsuit, he claims the game sells an in-game dance called "So Fresh" that he didn't sign off on.
Mr. Riberio isn't playing any games...literally.
Take a trip down memory lane and see a compilation of "The Carlton" on "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" and watch Alfonso bust out his signature dance on "Dancing With The Stars" below:
In other legal news...
Blac Chyna will finally get her day in court against the Kardashians.
In October 2017, we told you the Lash Boutique owner was suing every last one of them Karadashians. She unleashed a fiery lawsuit naming not only her daugher's father/ex-fiance Rob Karashian, but his mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kim Karadashian West, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian were also added in the legal mix. She wants all the smoke.
In the lawsuit, Chyna, who's real name is Angela White, claims the Kardashians have tried to damage her career by getting her reality series, "Rob & Chyna," canceled, for slut-shaming her, and defamation.
After multiple failed attempts to have the lawsuit thrown out by the Kardashians, she now has an official court date to kick off the trial.
One of Chyna's attorney's, Walter Mosley, announced the trail is set to go down February 3, 2020. He posted a picture of himself with his client with the caption, "February 3, 2020 ... We’re going to court ... White v. Kardashian et al. #staytuned #blacchyna".
Famed lawyer Lisa Bloom is also representing her in the case.
"For over a year, Blac Chyna has been fighting to get her day in court against Robert Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner," lawyer Lisa Bloom said in a statement last month. "Chyna alleges that she was slut-shamed, defamed and the victim of a plot to kill her hit show, Rob and Chyna, causing her significant financial damages.
"The Kardashian family has filed numerous motions with the court, seeking to have the case thrown out so that Chyna would not get to present her case at trial. As her attorneys, we have fought these motions every step of the way, and the case has remained alive," she said.

It's about to go DOWN. Well...in a year or so. Y'all ready for the drama that's about to ensue? This could get ugly.

Offset's daddy (possibly his stepfather) has come to his rescue and is blaming everybody but his son. What he just said to his Facebook group, plus Cardi B. responding about her own publicist allegedly organizing that stage crash, inside....
Everybody's parents are just alike. They go on "The Facebook" and start telling all their kids' business.
Offset's father Tony Pla, who we hear could be his stepfather, went to his Greek group to spill tea about the dramatic breakup of Offset & Cardi. Apparently, Tony's a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and Offset's mother is a member of Delta Sigma Theta. As for where this hood persona came from....we don't know.
Tony spent about 1% of his Facebook diatribe acknowledging "Offset isn't perfect", and the other 99% blaming "hot headed female" Cardi, the FBI, and the media. We see where Offset gets his inability to be FULLY accountable from.
We learned the FBI "kicked down the family's door" because they're allegedly building a case against Offset. We also learned drugs are involved in some way. And we learned that Papa Tony really thinks Cardi caused all this drama by "taking it to social media", while both she and Offset have been posting their relationship all over social media since the day they started dating. Offset also was inappropriately communicating with an IG model, a public social media person. So, yeah. Their ish was "taken to social media" before Cardi even opened her mouth about the split.
The best part: Cardi is accused of screwing over the family....by posting her own baby to social media before Offset could use the pic for his new album. We don't doubt Cardi posted it out of spite after saying previously her husband didn't want them sharing her pic yet. But, still. We don't get how suddenly "the family" is screwed over because they couldn't post her either. Chile, the audacity.
Here's Tony's full out of pocket post:
How are you saying "I don't think family matters should be in social media" and then proceed to put family matter on social media? If Offset don't come get his daddy.
By the way, Cardi is defending her publicist Patience. When folks accused her of being the person who organized Offset crashing Cardi's Rolling Loud set, things got ugly.
Cardi seems to be all good, though.
She was dripping in Chanel earlier this week while paying a visit to Louis Vuitton. And she dressed herself.

Chicago Bears star Charles Leno, Jr. popped the question to his girlfriend on the field after winning the NFC North on Sunday, but folks were quick to expose just how problematic it was. Deets inside...
Congrats are in order for Charles Leno, Jr. and bride-to-be Jennifer Roth, but not everybody is jumping for joy. And it's not just because his new fiance is white. A black professional athlete marrying a white woman is definitely not shocking news. But when said white woman has a history of borderline racist tweets and N-word dropping, folks are gonna pause for the cause.
Him : Will you marry me?
Her : Only if you , Beat the Pack & Win the North
Him : Done pic.twitter.com/hDW2LtYiSt
— Charles Leno Jr (@charleslenojr72) December 17, 2018
Right ater he popped the question, folks rightfully took issue. Her tweets from a few years ago surfaced, and now her Twitter is on "Protected Tweets" status:
I’ll never understand why Black professional athletes seem to love them some Black-fetishizing, white women with lowkey racist tendencies & think saying “nigga” is ok. Bc its really not, you’re a public figure & you tweeted like this. But if yall happy congrats I guess. pic.twitter.com/EfqDI9Ucif
— (hi my name is...) (@Minne_miraaa) December 17, 2018
And before you give this person the benefit of the doubt they haven't earned, there's a tweet (or two) for that too:
It’s not evolving when you no longer post racist remarks online. Means you’ve learned to better hide&manipulate. No matter who she ended up being engaged to, this perspective out in the world& this way of speaking is perpetuating racism, which is deadly, to this day in our world.
— Brooke (@brooklyn_koch) December 17, 2018
Do you know for a fact she’s changed??? Nope. She definitely hasn’t addressed or acknowledged her past otherwise they wouldn’t still be there in the first place. Thanks for your opinion tho I guess
— (hi my name is...) (@Minne_miraaa) December 17, 2018
Maybe he is unbothered by her past or unbothered even if she still says these things in the present. His prerogative. But folks will still have an opinion, especially since he made his proposal so public:

— J/K (@TTS_KAMI) December 17, 2018
Everybody can certainly marry whoever they want, regardless of race and reason. But that doesn't make these points any less valid either. Folks need to stop acting like some black men marrying white women simply because they are white isn't a thing. And that some black men don't inadvertently place them on a pedestal above black women, which isn't necessary:
All these black girls with attitudes in the comments. No wonder he got him a white girl

She might demand you to pay her in equity, but sis also gives back and inspires others like a straight up Boss. Get into Beyoncé's $7 Billion situation inside.
When Beyoncé and Jay-Z brought their OTR II tour to South Africa earlier this month for the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100, they had the world on lock. Even though the masses could only see the first 25 minutes of their Global Citizen Festival performance, those in the stadium got the full show exclusively because they earned their way there, as the press release for the Fest stated.
Now, we've learned the free-ticketed concert that celebrated the centenary year of Nelson Mandela, honoring his legacy in the fight to end extreme poverty, raised billions. $7 Billion to be exact.
Instead of paying for tix, Global Citizens earned entry by taking action on health and nutrition, education, gender equality, water and sanitation, and the criminalization of poverty. So all the billions raised were from donors - citizens from all around the world.
And it didn't hurt that Beyoncé's BeyGood organization played a huge part in the Festival - from her Parkwood execs serving on the Board to her collaborating with the Global Citizen organization to give fans tickets to her OTR II concert throughout the year in exchange for doing good deeds.
Queen Bey posted the news today saying:
After settling in at home from a beautiful trip to South Africa and India, I am still in awe that 7.1 BILLION dollars was raised to aid Global Citizen in its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty. I’d like to give my praise and respect to all the speakers, performers, and volunteers who donated their time to contribute to making positive change. Every person in the audience at FNB Stadium earned a seat because they generously donated their time to help their community. Now their efforts and the money raised will help improve education, healthcare, sanitation, women’s rights, and countless other causes for millions across the globe. I felt so much positivity and pride in the audience at Global Citizen: Mandela 100. Madiba, Johannesburg, and all of my African sisters and brothers, we hope we made you as proud as you all make us. South Africa was an extraordinary trip for me and my family. God bless.

While she certainly was the biggest draw to the festival (that Zulu inspired "Halo" performance with the Soweto Choir gave us CHILLS!), she wasn't the sole person helping to raise that type of money. Oprah Winfrey gave a special keynote address remembering Nelson Mandela and his legacy. Hosts Naomi Campbell, Sir Bob Geldof, Gayle King, Bonang Matheba, Tyler Perry, and Forest Whitaker brought lots of eyes to the show. Tons of performers from all around the world killed the stage as well, from Usher to Pharrell to Tiwa Savage.
By the way, even Bey & Jay's umpteen costume changes were all about showcasing the continent of Africa - from the designers to the vibes. Beyoncé's opening ensemble (above), designed by Mary Katrantzou, was full of intricate beading a sequins and had all 54 African countries mapped out on it.
More pics below:
Meek Mill is PISSED. The house he just bought his grandma was just tagged with racist graffiti. Plus, Marvin Gaye's estate won their coins from Pharrell and Robin Thicke (again). Deets inside.
Now why are y'all messing with Meek's fam like this? Y'all know this man is walking on thin ice and provoking him with this type of B.S. aint right.
The rapper posted up surveillance video showing a man spray painting the word "acorn" outside his grandmother's home. Apparently, he just ought it. And word must have gotten around. Meek says the word is Philly slang for white privilege.

— Meek Mill (@MeekMill) December 18, 2018
According to The Blast, Meek is currently filing a police report in South Philly. And this isn't the only incident of graffiti:
We’re told there has been a string of vandalism in South Philly referencing white pride, but it’s unclear if the man who targeted Meek’s grandma is the same person. Other buildings were hit on Monday night, along with Meek’s Grandma, and could be seen Tuesday morning, including another one that touted the “Acorn” affiliation.
In other legal news, the judge has made a ruling in that appeal Robin Thicke & Pharrell made in the "Blurred Lines" copyright case against the Marvin Gaye family.
Now, we know just how much they're going to have to pay up. And it's a pretty penny: $5M in joint damages. But at least they get to split it.
Based on California federal judge John A. Kronstadt’s new amended judgement, Thicke and Williams have been told they jointly owe damages of $2,848,846.50, according Rolling Stone.
That's not all. Thicke has also been ordered to pay an additional $1,768,191.88 and Williams and his publishing company will pay another $357,630.97 to the Gaye family.
There's more: The Gaye family is entitled to receive prejudgment interest on the damages award and respective profits against each of them, which totals to $9097.51. And since we all know the song won't jut magically stop being played everywhere, the family is entitled to royalties going forward for 50 percent of the songwriter and publishing revenue.
1. Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have called a truce...just for the Holidays. STORY
Jacquees is really out here in his alleged King of R&B bag. He got brazen with Keith Sweat and Bobby Brown, and the internets aren't having it.
R&B singer Jacquees still says he's the king of the genre after setting of a King of R&B debate last week. Now, he's getting buck with OG's. To their face.
He was backstage Saturday at the V-103 Winterfest concert in Atlanta when he ran into "Nobody" singer Keith Sweat. TMZ cameras got petty, of course, and asked Keith to weigh in on the debate. Keith might have been smiling by the end, but he certainly had that look like he wanted to pop off after Jacquees told him he's basically taking his crown for the 16 and up crowd.
Ha. This guy.
Fast forward to Jacquees saying everything's all good after the internets went in on him for disrespecting a legend. Ha!
Then, Bobby Brown chimed in about it all. And Jacquees accepted his king of R&B challenge today:
Lawdt. Hope Bobby can keep up.
The singer was also spotted out with his wife Alicia shopping at James Perse in Beverly Hills yesterday. The pair were holding hands and smiling, and looked extra happy and at peace:
These cigarettes are not about to help you on stage though, Bobby!
Folks are still concerned about Wendy Williams' health, despite her offering an explanation for her recent no-shows on her daytime talk show, and sitting through her whole shows as well.
Monday, when 54-year-old Wendy Williams didn't show up for her talk show host duties, folks were more concerned than ever. It was set to be a new live show, but audience members were turned away once they got all the way to the studio. According to fans, they got no warning about the show being cancelled, and it seemed to be a last minute decision.
Wendy never addressed it on her social media either. But on Tuesday, she was back in her purple chair. With an interesting explanation. And one functioning arm. She told the audience, after not doing her usual walk out and starting the show sitting in her chair, that she had a hairline fracture on her shoulder:
“I did it on Sunday by Monday morning my shoulder was on fire. There’s no way I could’ve done yesterday’s show, so I was all about the medical care yesterday from one doctor to the other. I’m on the mend, I don’t need an operation.”
“[Doctors] told me I’m very healthy for a person — after 50,” laughed Williams. “I’m not wearing a hard cast, but I do have a sling and I do have my flower ring on.”
Williams, who missed Monday’s taping, told viewers she’d complete her tapings for the remainder of the year, which wrap this Friday. “So we only have to work around this for a moment before I just go home,” she added. “That’s all you can do: rest.”
Sounds innocent enough, but not everyone is buying it. Especially because this new fracture doesn't explain why she also missed a live show a few weeks ago, something she never does.
Last week, she explained why she's sitting down through all of the segments now, including uring her "Ask Wendy" section in the middle of the audience:
“So it has come to my attention…that you all are noticing that I sit, a lot. I love to have several seats. I don’t just sit here, I’ve been sitting in the audience, I sit to do demo projects as well. You know why? Cause I want to!” she told the audience. “Cause this is my show, and this is how I want to do it. I bust my a** on this show, every single day.”
Now, her friends and business associates think there's more to it, allegedly. Acording to Radar Online:
Friends and business associates “have been concerned about her in recent weeks,” the insider claimed. “She can barely stand at times, and has totally checked out. It’s a major problem.”
We will say, as daily watchers, we have noticed something seems to be different over there. In more ways than one. Get well soon, Wendy!
Juelz Santana is looking at over 27 months in prison after the judge handed down his sentencing today. We guess that wedding with Kimbella is getting moved up...
A judge handed down the sentence Wednesday morning in Newark, NJ. He'll also be under supervised release for 12 months after he's completed his time.
No date was set on when the rapper will have to surrender. But we place our bets on a rushed wedding with Kimbella going down first. Y'all know she's not about to go out like Yandy - all that wedding hoopla and an actual marriage certificate is nowhere to be found.
Juelz also explained on the current season of "Love & Hip Hop" that he took prescribed pain killers for dental work, and things got a little too real.
He and Kimbella got their engagement pics snapped with the quickness. They showed off a couple photos, and folks are going all the way in. Mainly dragging him for throwing on Fashion Nova Men while Kim's rocking a whole formal gown:

It's the hardest breakup fans of "Love Is___" will witness that's not their own. The show is cancelled and there will be no season 2. Deets inside...
In today's Men Ruin Everything news (we kid...kinda), those accusations tossed at the very married Salim Akil about a decade long affair full of alleged sexual assault and domestic violence is now stopping his bag.
The Executive Producer of "Love Is___" had a major lawsuit filed against him and OWN by a married actress, Amber Dixon Brenner, claiming to have been involved with him for the past decade. The details were salacious and the tea was piping hot. Not only did she detail frequent instances of physical abuse throughout the illicit affair, the suit accuses Salim of stealing her 2015 Luv & Perversity in the East Village screenplay as the basis of Love Is_
Of course, Salim denies there's any truth to any of it. Amber even dropped one of her two lawsuits (the copyright infringement accusation), keeping only one against Salim himself. It focuses on of accusations of “non-consensual assault and battery” and breach of contract over the Luv script.

LOVE IS___ I am saddened that this great group of #artists and #storytellers will no longer get to create together on this project in this way. This was a special tribe— assembling teams like this is by the grace of God— and I will miss not being on set with them to make more magic. And though I know we will all go on to create more amazing work, I’m grateful there was a moment in time that we came together and had the courage to give our best to try and tell a story about love with love. #InTheLandOf #LoveIs
OWN clearly isn't having any of it. And neither is Salim's wife, Mara Brock Akil. The twosome haven't been seen together - outside of Election Day - since the accusation went public, and "Love Is___" is now cancelled.
“OWN has decided not to move forward with the second season of Love Is _ ,” the Oprah Winfrey founded outlet said Wednesday, five months after saying it was renewed.
“The TV memoir was inspired by the real-life love story of married producers Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil.”
The only upside: Deadline says their sources tell them the cast and producers were all still paid for the second season under contractual obligations. However, others on staff say it isn't true.
They BETTER not take Salim's other show "Black Lightening" away too. Ain't gotta throw the baby away with the bath water. He can go, if necessary. But the least we can do is let a black superhero idea play out on tv. Let us live!

Joe Budden wants to settle down with one woman and be a family man? What's that called? Growth. Joe & Cyn Santana's hilarious proposal that just went down, inside...
Lexington Budden's parents are getting married! 38-year-old Joe Budden popped the question to his 1-year-old son's mother and long time 26-year-old girlfriend Cyn Santana last night. And it didn't take 10 years and the ring still being put on the wrong hand.
The Revolt host and rapper is growing up in front of our eyes - no more intentional love triangles for reality show storylines. Just working hard and (sometimes) playing hard. He got down on one knee on a stage in front of a huge crowd last night and asked Cyn - he used her whole government Cynthia Pacheco - to be his wife. Chick took the mic and said Yes, plus some:
Cyn gave everybody a close up on the Gram ,immediately of course:
The twosome gushed about the proposal and each other after the big proposal:

News just hit that Beyoncé"dropped two new albums" under the name "Queen Carter" on iTunes, but fake news will expose the fakes every time. Deets inside.
Beyoncé is giving all y'all who fell for the "Bey just dropped 2 new albums!" fake news the same look above.
When news started to go viral tonight that Queen Carter had come thru with the come thru - a new double album just in time for the Holidays - some folks didn't eve both to click play o one song before sharing the news. Others simply must not have been rocking with Bey since the get, and didn't ever feel the need to go listen to her earlier drops.
The tracks aren't new and most, if not all, are not even unreleased.
The mostly-now deleted "albums" are just compilations of early 2000's Beyonce songs. They're from her early albums, soundtracks like Bad Boys and Best Man, and DJ-created mixtapes (back when folks actually remixed other people's songs for a mixtape). Some tracks on these listings were also remixed to make them sound new.
Then this song popped up as well.
No wonder Jacquees is in these streets calling himself the king of R&B of this generation. Some folks don't know their history. Even the Queen Bey's history. And yes, many in this generation were alive and well in the late Destiny's Child/early Beyonce days.
By the way, a clout chaser hit SZA earlier today too, dropping old songs and repacking it as a new album. Her management has shut it down.
There is no new SZA album out. Old songs were stolen and leaked. We are currently fixing the issue. Please feel free to continue enjoying Ctrl until the next album is ready.

This little excerpt should tell you just how this profile went:
Back in Scott’s SUV, we approach Southeast Community Church, where Scott used to worship. He hands his blunt back to Nate: “Put this out, bro — I can’t be smoking in front of the church.” Religious faith is one of the things Scott and Kylie Jenner have in common. “We both believe in God,” he says, and so, when she told him she was pregnant, “we felt like, ‘This is something special.’ And kids are something we kind of talked about when we were getting busy.” He describes their bond as rock-solid, the speed of their courtship notwithstanding. At first, Scott says, “we was just two kids, fucking around. Maybe, like, the first week, you don’t know if it’s real or a fling. Then the second week you’re like, ‘Whoa, I’m still talking to her, she’s responding, I’m responding. We ain’t run out of a thing to say.’ And it got to a point where I was like, ‘I need her with me to operate. She’s that one.’ ” He adds, “We’ll get married soon. I just gotta sturdy up — I gotta propose in a fire way.”
Sigh. Some black folks have such low basic standards for those who lack melanin but wish they had some....
And by basic standards, we mean rarely ever standing for anything. We don't know for a fact if Travis is the #AllLivesMatter type, but we certainly get that vibe. So when it was announced that the Super Bowl finally found a simp to use as their hip hop act to attract even more of an audience, said simp was revealed to be Travis.
TMZ reports he will be performing alongside Maroon 5 after countless black artists turned down the offer.
Meek Mill took to Twitter to express his confusion:
But he's still his homie:
Reportedly, Jay-Z is also disappointed and is actively trying to Travis out of it.
Two sources also tell Variety that Jay-Z — who has been highly critical of the NFL over its treatment of former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick— is attempting to talk Scott out of performing, although reps either declined comment or could not immediately be reached.
While the Super Bowl is going to get NUMBERS that day, regardless of who is performing, we're not sure the bump on iTunes charts and money from that is worth the repercussions and not taking a stand. It clearly all is for Travis though. Also, Travis and Maroon 5 share the same management, so, yeah.
While even Maroon 5 hasn't been confirmed by the Super Bowl to be their performer, we're hearing rumblings of other folks still in talks to join them. Cardi B. (who supposedly previously changed her mind about wanting to do it) and Big Boi from Outkast.
Karrueche Tran, who's dating former NFLer Victor Cruz, isn't feeling it either, with their nonchalant vibe toward domestic violence and all.
But Travis did get support from another rapper: Yung Joc.
