The traffic in NYC yesterday was INSANE and it put a damper in Taraji P. Henson's press run in the Big Apple. However, she made it! Go inside to catch up on Taraji's mission to break the stigma of mental health...

The UN General Assembly had traffic gridlocked in NYC yesterday.

Taraji P. Henson was in the city to hit the promo trail for a new season of "Empire," but she almost didn't make it. She was literally stuck in her hotel, unable to get anywhere...unless she walked, of course.

The "Empire" star hopped on Instagram Live to update her fans about how she was stuck and couldn't go anywhere. Check it:

The 48-year-old actress, who celebrated her birthday in Chicago earlier this month, eventually made her way to "GMA Day" (above, styling in MONSE) to chop it up with Michael Strahan and Sara Haines about the new season of "Empire" and also her mission to to help break the stgima of mental helath.

During the interview, Taraji revealed she had to go to out and seek help after suffering tramtic situations in her life, like losing her father two years after the murder of her son's father. Her son was 9-years-old at the time. She said when she sought out black therapists, there were hardly any. And that was a problem.

She talked about how the black community undervalues our mental health. We'll be open about all other aspects of our health, except our mental.

Switching gears, she also dished on her working relationship with her co-star Terrence Howard and more. Oh, and she's NOT pregnant!

Today...

Taraji appeared on "The View" where she opened up a little about her fiance/former NFLer Kelvin Hayden. She said she "knew he was the one" when they met, but she had to shut him down for four months. She said he was relentless when trying to get her back and that made her have a change of heart. We noticed, she never addressed those cheating rumors.

Also...

Taraji joined Power 105's "The Breakfast Club" where she got more in-depth about her project. She created the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation in honor of her late father in an effort to help eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health in the black community. The YBF actress called on her good friend Tracie Jenkins (who joined her during the interview) to help run the foundation as executive director of her foundation.

"Looking for a black therapist is like looking for a unicorn," she said.

She said it was hard as hell trying to find a therapist that is a person of color. It's more than just the color of their skin, she said. The question is, are they "culturally competent?" She said her son had issues opening up to people who didn't look like him or people who can't fully understand his struggle. And she felt the same way. That's what prompted her to start her foundation to jump-start the conversation about mental health in the black community.

"I named the organization after my father because of his complete and unconditional love for me; his unabashed, unashamed ability to tell the truth, even if it hurt; and his strength to push through his own battles with mental health issues,” she said. “My dad fought in The Vietnam War for our country, returned broken, and received little to no physical and emotional support. I stand now in his absence, committed to offering support to African Americans who face trauma daily, simply because they are black.”

"black-ish" star Jenifer Lewis, who manages bipolar disorder, was in the mix to show support.

Things get real emotional on the next episode of "Iyanla:Fix My Life."

Life coach Iyanla Vanzant will work with "Real Housewives of Atlanta" stars Cynthia Bailey and Malorie Bailey as they try to get the bottom of why Malorie's life is unraveling right before her eyes.

For starters, Malorie hasn't spoken to her husband in the last five months. Since the moment her husband walked out, Malorie has been questioning who she is and is experiencing a full-blown identity crisis. The fact that she's only seen as "Cynthia's sister" isn't helping any and only making it worse.

In rap news...

So, everything is supposedly good between Kanye West and Nick Cannon following their online video feud...if you want to call it that.

It's being reported 'Ye and Nick have come to a mututal understanding and are letting bygones be bygones. Sources claim they exchanged numbers via Instagram DMs, hopped on the phone, and hashed things out.

As you all know, Ye got all up in his feelings about folks mentioning his wife, Kim Karadashian West, in the press. He posted a whole series of videos on Instagram warning Nick, Drake and Tyson Beckford to keep his wife's name out of their mouths. Drake nor Tyson Beckford responded, but Nick did. And he did it in Kanye-esque style, posting his own series of videos to Instagram. In the clips, he told 'Ye he respects his union with Kim, but he said what he said.

It's said Nick also invited Kanye to come back on "Wild 'N Out." No word yet on if he accepted.

Well, glad they got that cleared up.

Bill Cosby was sentenced to jail on Tuesday.  He was ordered not to pass Go and was brought directly to lock up.  We've got his mugshot and everything he's eating and doing his first night in the slammer inside...

After two days of court appearances, "America's Dad" turned convicted sex offender Bill Cosby was sentenced to 3-10 years in a state prison for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home 14 years ago.

Cosby's bail was immediately revoked - the judge was actually insulted that Cosby's attorneys had the audacity to ask - and he was escorted from the courthouse in handcuffs.

“When a sentence in prison includes more than two years, the defendant shall not have the same right as bail before the verdict,” Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Judge Steven O'Neill said. “The bail should be at the discretion of the judge.  This was a serious crime.  Mr. Cosby, this has all circled back to you. The day has come, the time has come."

Cosby was convicted in April of aggravated indecent assault, and he interestingly declined to speak to the court prior to the sentence. He also was ordered to pay a fine of $25,000 plus the costs of prosecution as part of the sentence.

Right before the sentencing, the comic was ruled a “sexually violent predator” after his defense fought the label for months.

He was placed at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility before being transferred to SCI Phoenix for his classification.

His attorneys have already filed an appeal (see the above foolishness about us now being in a "sex war"), but in the meantime, he's behind bars. With Puddin' Snacks.  We couldn't make this ish up.

The Blast reports:

Officials at Montgomery County Jail in Pennsylvania tell The Blast Cosby will be well fed for his first night in the slammer, including a chicken patty with gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and an iced tea juice packet. On top of all that, we’re told he will be getting VANILLA PUDDING!

It’s unclear if the pudding will actually be Jell-O, but convicted sex offenders can’t be choosers.

As for what Cosby will be facing over the next few days until he’s transferred to a permanent facility to serve out his sentence, we’re told he will be first searched and offered a shower before changing into prison attire and issued his jail swag.

We’re told Cosby will be receiving: 1 blanket 2 sheets 1 towel 1 washcloth 1 hygiene kit

And before you try to argue Bill deserves to be free because other accused white men are (for now):

After it was announced she would be performing with Maroon 5 for this year's Super Bowl halftime show, Cardi B will be hitting the stage for another epic performance. Bad Bunny and J Balvin will join the NYC rapper to perform their smash hit “I Like It" at the 2018 American Music Awards when the show airs October 9th.

It's Cardi's first official performance since giving birth to her baby girl Kulture Kiari Cephus in July.

Remaining positive after going through a high-profile breakup has its difficulties, however, Monyetta Shaw is committed to operating in a space of integrity and leadership at all times. It's been a long time coming, and there was plenty of drama between Monyetta and Ne-Yo once he and now wife Crystal got together, but here we are.

We told you Monyetta was gearing up to release a new book where she offers up co-parenting tips to parents struggling to make it work. And now it's about to be released.

After the success of her first two books - "The Adventures of Maddie" & "Bigger Than Me" - Monyetta will be releasing "Keep It Classy," a how-to-guide for moms and dads, where she shares first-hand encounters and strategies she's learned through co-parenting with her ex-Ne-Yo.

"For me, it's quite simple," says Monyetta. "My kids come first and it's extremely vital for me to set a positive example."

The R&B crooner - who shares two children with Monyetta (Madilyn& Mason) - collaborated with his ex, providing the foreword in the book.

"The purpose of this book is far more important than just being an artist or an author. What's most important is protecting the hearts and minds of innocent children, ours, and yours." says Ne-Yo. "This book is about preventing kids from being on the receiving end of issues and circumstances that we grownups create for ourselves. It's about a state of mind, helping parents remove the harmful attitudes and behavior that threaten them and their children's wellbeing."

Back in July, Monyetta shared an exerpt from her new book while on a family outing with Ne-Yo, his new wife Crystal Smith, and their kids, writing:

Rocky isn't alone in not loving any of this.  Adonis' mother Mary Anne Creed (played by Phylicia Rashad) and his girlfriend/child's mother Bianca (played by Tessa Thompson) are also begging him not to accept the challenge.

"If you want to fight this man that's your business, but don't pretend this is about your father," Mary Anne Creed says to her son in the trailer. 

Even though Rocky, his mother, and girlfriend don't want him to fight, he's determined to "rewrite history" to avenge his father's death.

Everybody's either doing press runs for their latest projects, or all boo'd up on the red carpet. Flicks inside...

Am I killing it or nah? We can imagine Tiffany asking Kevin this in this very moment above.

We're days away beforeNight Schoolhas moviegoers falling out of their chairs in laughter. And lead stars Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish are still putting in work on the promo trail.

The comedians made their way to Regal Cinemas LA Live Stadium 14 to host the LA premiere of their new comedy film, along with producer Will Packer. And, as expected, they were cutting up on the red carpet, making sure everyone was having a good time.

In the film, Kevin is a high school drop out who ends up enrolling in night school in hopes of passing the GED exam to cop his diploma. Tiffany plays his teacher and they end up getting into all types of mischief - just like in real life. Ha!

The comedian had his MILFy wife Eniko Hart by his side as she snapped it up in his red tailored suit paired with a Dior shirt and Prada shoes. His wife kept it simple in a black button down dress. Their son, Kenzo Kash Hart, will turn 1 in November.

Rapper Fat Joe came out to see the film. He snapped it up with Tiffany, who rocked a sparkly strapless black Tadashi Shoji dress.

Will and Tiffany made their way down the school locker carpet, snapping it up alongside Chairman of Universal Pictures Donna Langley and Night School director Malcolm D. Lee.

It was no surprise seeing rapper Ludacris in the mix as he and Kevin go on coupledom vacays often.

Comedian Tommy Davidson was also in the mix.

Date night! "Insecure" star Yvonne Orji and her man Emmanuel Acho served up #BlackLove vibes on the carpet.

Before "Empire" returns for another exciting season, lead stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard have been all over NYC doing press runs.

We can't say we're feeling THIS look on Taraji, but we were crushing on several ensembles she wore during her press run. Check them out HERE. 

It appears he's back "on" with his longtime partner Mira Pak. They got married, had a son (Qirin Love), secretly divorced in summer 2015, had another son (Hero) in 2016, and are seemingly back together. They do a lot of breaking up and making up.

Season 5 of "Empire" premieres tonight at 8pm EST on FOX.

Love is in the air and on the red carpet.

After making her rounds at Milan Fashion Week (and Dubai - more on that in a minute), the "Chun-Li" rapper touched down in Brazil ahead of a performance. The 35-year-old jetted to Sao Paolo for her Tidal subscribers concert. "Thanks Brazil! I love you so much!," she captioned on Instagram.

Before touching down in Brazil...

The Head Barb linked up with rumored boo Lewis Hamilton in Dubai. The two posted pictures of themselves riding ATV's in the sand dunes. No lovey dovey captions or anything, but it's clear Nicki wants people to think they're at least dating as she hasn't been shy about being all over him in pictures during NYFW and posting him on her social media. He recently posted her as well.

Lewis posted a picture of them riding through the sand dunes with the caption, "Riders."

After playing netball with her husband Prince Harry and a few students, Meghan Markle stepped out for her first solo appearance as a royal. The Duchess of Sussex celebrated the opening of the "Oceania" exhibit at London's Royal Academy of Arts, four months after tying the knot in an epic royal wedding.

As she settles into her new role as a member of the royal family, the former "Suits" actress still reminds us she's a regular person at heart. When she pulled up at the Royal Academy of Arts, she got out, greeted one of the hosts, and then she closed her car door.

Apparently, royals generally have their car doors opened and closed by staff members. It reminds us of the time during Meghan's first royal appearance with Queen Elizabeth when she started to get in the car on the wrong side. She's still learning!

Royal watchers on social media have praised her for being “humble” and “down to earth.” Etiquette expert William Hanson told the Daily Mail,

“The Duchess of Sussex closing her own car door is yet another silent signal that she is going to be doing things her own way and helping adapt and progress the British monarchy,“ he said. "Whether she thought long and hard about it before it happened, I doubt it, I suspect it was force of habit, but it is interesting to see that many have noticed as usually, dignitaries have a member of staff to do this for them.”

We definitely think she wasn't even thinking about closing the door and closed it out of habit.

For the private museum tour, the 37-year-old royal wore a black Givenchy dress, pumps by Aquazzura and a black Givenchy clutch. We noticed she has been wearing her hair down in a sleek, straight style lately. By the way, Givenchy is the designer who made her royal wedding dress.

If you squinch hard, it looks like a mini baby bump could be poking out. Rumors have been swirling for a while that she's pregnant, but nothing has been confirmed. However, her outfit choices lately have continued to fuel the rumors.

All dark clothing, usually cinched at the waist or the waist hidden by ruffles.

Lena Waithe's new comedy "Twenties" is bringing some new fresh faces on the scene. Get the deets on the EMMY winner's new show, plus what Tiffany Haddish had to say about diversity in Hollywood inside...

After making EMMY history, the writer/show creator is gearing up for her next big project and the cast has just been locked in.

"Twenties" is a new comedy coming to TBS that "The Chi" creator (above at the Marriott International #LoveTravels Beyond Barriers Launch in NYC) is more than excited about.

Lena, who won an EMMY for her comedy writing skills for "Master of None," wrote the show nine years ago and its a project near and dear to her heart. "Twenties" is described as a show "about friendship, finding love, and messing everything up along the way." And we all can relate to messing ish up in our 20s. So young. So naive. So gullible.

According to Deadline, actress Jonica T. Gibbs has been cast as the show's main character, Hattie, "a queer black girl" who's trying to figure out life with her two straight besties, Marie and Nia, as well successful writer-producer Ida B. Christina Elmore and Gabrielle Graham have been cast as Marie and Nia, and Sophina Brown will play Ida B.

“Queer black characters have been the sidekick for long enough; it’s time for us to finally take the lead,” Lena Waithe said at the time of the pilot pickup. Lena will executive produce the show (via her Hillman Grad Productions), along with her manager Andrew Coles for the Mission Entertainment.

Deadline describes each character in depth:

Gibbs’ Hattie is described as a naturally beautiful, funny, charming young woman. She’s an aspiring television writer who dreams of glory, but meanwhile seems incapable of holding down a regular job. Not one to sweat the small stuff — like being evicted — Hattie doesn’t let much faze her, and when in doubt or trouble, she turns to her best friends, Nia (Graham) and Marie (Elmore), for help. She’s a lesbian who always falls for straight women. Out of cash and desperate for a break, Hattie interviews with Ida B. (Brown), a successful African American television writer/producer who calls her out on some shady tweets she made some years prior. But when Ida B. offers Hattie a job as a writer’s PA, Hattie may finally have her foot planted firmly on the ladder of Hollywood success.

Elmore’s Marie is a young feature exec with a seemingly perfect life with her seemingly perfect boyfriend, Chuck. One of Hattie’s best friends, Marie does everything by the book, and although she loves Hattie, she is always lecturing her about her carefree lifestyle.

Graham’s Nia is a “Trinidadian goddess” and “a lady in every sense of the word” who has been taught by her female relatives in the islands to hold herself in high esteem, especially in her dealings with men. Best friends with Marie and Hattie, Nia is an evolved, fit, serene yet delightfully offbeat yoga instructor who longs to meet her ideal mate and settle down — but so far, that seems a vain hope.

Brown’s Ida B. is an amazingly successful writer-producer whose current hit show, “Cocoa’s Butter,” has been entertaining black women for years.

It sounds like a mashup between "Living Single" and "Insecure" for young, African Americans in their 20s. And even if you aren't in your 20s, you'll likely be able to relate to some of what these YBF chicks get into.

Lena is making her mark in Hollywood. She's also executive producing a Boomerang sequel series with Halle Berry that's set to premiere on BET. Get those deets HERE.

After copping the EMMY for Outstanding Guest Actress - Comedy Series, Tiffany Haddish went backstage at the 2018 EMMYs to answer all the questions media wanted to probe her about.

Standing in front of reporters in her custom rainbow Prabal Gurung gown, she was asked what ideas she has to help create more diversity in Hollywood. Her answer may shock you, or you'll totally respect it.

“Girl no, I don’t know how to do that,” she said. “I didn’t go to college for that … If you was asking me how to structure a joke, I could help you with that part. But what you talking about right now, I don’t know. I don’t know. All I know is how to do my job. That’s somebody else’s job, I don’t know how to do that.”

Does she gets props for keeping it real or should she consider doing more to create diversity in Hollywood?  Where much is given, much IS required.

Speaking of Tiffany and Lena, both ladies will be honored at Variety's Power of Women event. Three-time EMMY winner Regina King will also be honored. The annual event recognizes Hollywood's most philanthropic women whose efforts have made a significant impact to their chosen charities and causes. The luncheon will go down at the Bevely Wilshire Four Season on October 12th.

Quincy Jones is a musical ICON and influential legend. To celebrate his 85th birthday (which was actually in March), he rounded up his family and several of his celebrity friends for a night of laughter, music, and memories.

Hosted by media mogul Oprah, tons of stars came together for the "Q85: A Musical Celebration for Quincy Jones" held at the Microsoft Theatre in LA recently. And it will air on BET Networks this December.

“There are those in our world known by their full name … and then there are those known by just their first name,” Lady O said. “But there is only one legend known far and wide and beloved by a single letter,” as she affectionately called him "Q."

Quincy's daughter Rashida Jones was there to honor her father one night before news broke that she gave birth to a baby boy a few months ago. The 42-year-old actress and her boyfriend Ezra Koenig welcomed their first child together, who they named Isaiah. Congrats to the couple.

To honor her father's legacy, Rashida co-directed and co-wrote the Netflix documentary, titled QUINCY, about his prolific career in music.

“My dad’s story is also the story of black America," she told THR last week at the film's LA premiere. "He was born in the '30s. He’s seen every decade since. He’s been relevant in every decade since, so we’re dealing with a lot of race stuff in this country and it's important to tell the stories of the past," she said. "It’s the only way we can learn. It’s the only way we can change and evolve, and this is a great way to do it."

QUINCY is currently streaming on Netflix.

Lordt.  Karen Huger's gonna have a field day with this one...

News just dropped that "Real Housewives of Potomac" star Ashley Darby's husband Michael has been criminally charged with sexual harassment.  Reportedly a Bravo cameraman has spoken up about Michael allegedly grabbing his butt - then smiling flirtatiously - during filming earlier this month.

Chile....

TMZ reports:

The cameraman -- Orville Palmer -- claims after the grope he turned around and Darby gave him "a flirtatious look." Orville says he instructed Darby to stop, and then told his supervisor.

Darby has been charged with felony assault as well as misdemeanor improper sexual contact.

The incident reportedly happened on September 1st.  Michael's facing 11 years in prison.  Interestingly, anther incident was mentioned in the recent season involving Michael allegedly sending nudes to a mystery person. The pics were all over the net, and Ashley still played down the fiasco when it was brought up.  Accusations of Michael allegedly having a gay lover have been circulating since 2016.  Both Michael and Ashley have denied the accusations.

Ashley told Bravo back in May about the nude pics in question:

That internet rumor was a fabricated story made up by someone who has never met my husband and chose a random white man to pretend to be Michael. On the other hand, there have been many sightings of Karen doing her thang around Potomac with this fellow. But like I said - if Karen and Ray have an arrangement, more power to them!

Ashley and Michael went through some major marital woes over the last two seasons, but seemed to have worked things out with Ashley moving back into their condo this past season.  We still side-eyed the hell out of Michael when he made it known he had no interest in having a baby with his wife, despite the fact they agreed to have kids at the time of their marriage.

We already know co-stars Karen & Ray Huger are sipping their champagne in their Potomac home....or guest house....with a pizza...talking mad ish. The Hugers were beefing hard with the Darbys last season when Michael & Ashley had so much to say about Ray's tax drama with the IRS.

Remy Ma serves up her opinion about women who go after men with money, hoping to catch a bag with a baby. See the interview, plus sound off on Papoose's belief that Bill Cosby is innocent after the entertainer was sentenced on sexual assault charges inside....

Remy Ma has a message to women who specifically go after wealthy men and get pregnant, expecting a come up: F*** YOU B*****

The pregnant rapper (who is due to give birth in a few months) was chatting with her co-hosts - Joe Budden, Scottie Beam, and Jinx - on REVOLT TV's "State of the Culture" about child support and she offered up some bold statements about money hungry women who go to the courts trying to make a come up.

“These b*tches go to court and they be lying and it’s sad," she said.

"I bet you if they made it so that you could only get child support if you were married to the person, a lot of these b*tches would stop waiting outside of basketball games and outside of concerts tryna f*** n*ggas because you know b*tch you get knocked up, you ain't getting no money."

The NYC raptress, who has her own VH1 special premiering soon, is seemingly annoyed with groupies and gold diggers who only have babies to secure a bag.

The "All The Way Up" rapper said she feels like co-parents should split everything. Then, she said if the mom wants the child to participate in extracurricular activities, such as karate, then SHE should pay for it by herself and not expect the man to help.

"You want the kid to do karate, that’s a choice. You should have to pay for it," she said.

Remy, who recently renewed her vows with her hubby Papoose, said whatever the child needs, the mom should go grind for it to make sure the kid is straight and to stop begging a man be in their child's life. She said her husband is an amazing father to her son (who she shares with another man), but if something were to happen to him, then she would make sure he was cared for regardless.

“If my husband, God forbid, dropped off the face of the earth, I’m going to make sure my son is OK,” she said. “You got these b*tches es that sit around on they ass all day and expect because they let a n*gga with some money stick they d*ck in them and they had a baby that they f*ckin' hit the lottery."

Hmmm.  We agree a mother should always be grinding for her own child, but that does not absolve a man for also grinding for what is HIS child as well.

She continued:

"We need to champion behind our black men! Champion behind our black men, so that we change these f*ckin' laws because it's f*cked up. And every other money hungry baby mother out there, f*ck all you b*tches. I hate you b*tches."

So men aren't to blame for any of this? How about wealthy men stop "sticking their d*ck" inside groupies/gold diggers without a condom? A man is just as responsible for his child as the child's mother. Regardless of who makes the most money, they BOTH laid down to have sex, so they BOTH should support the child financially. At this point, wealthy men aren't oblivious to the fact that there are SOME women who DO go after rich men to secure a bag, so why don't they smarten up and take steps to prevent it if they're adamant they do not want children, seeing that they very well can?! If a woman is adamant about not having children, she knows the many options to prevent it as well.  Personal responsibility lies with both genders.

On the flip side, we do agree that women and men who go after rich men & women simply looking for a come up, are trash.

Remy isn't the only one giving up her ulfiltered opinion. Her hubby Pap went on Instagram following Bill Cosby's sexual assault sentencing (he's serving 3-10 years in a state prison) to share his beliefs about it all. And he said the 81-year-old entertainer is INNOCENT.  "They're" only doing this to him to tarnish his brand, according to Pap.

"America is all about money!," he captioned under a screenshot of the NY Daily News cover. "What does jello have to do with an alleged rape case? Shouldn’t this be handled more seriously? It’s a joke to them... wake up people! I DO NOT condone rape in no shape, form, or fashion. But I believe he is not guilty."

In another Instagram post, Pap wrote,"Coincidentally these accusations were made. Right around the time “Cosby” was said to be in the process... of purchasing NBC. #metoomovement Personally I’m not buying this bs. I DO NOT condone rape in any shape, form, or fashion. But I believe he’s not guilty!"

Hmm....we doubt Cosby was getting ready to buy NBC, seeing that he's currently being sued by a Philadelphia-based law firm for failing to pay over $282,000 in legal fees generated from representing him in the civil and criminal sexual assault cases that go back decades. Delays, lawsuits, accusations...for a long time it appeared Lil Wayne's The Carter V would never see the light of day. But, the day has finally come. It's here!

The highly anticipated and long-awaited (yeah, fans have been waiting since 2014), Tha Carter V has been released. As you know, Wayne pulled the trigger on a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman/Cash Money Records as he fought for his creative freedom. "I am a prisoner and so is my creativity," he tweeted at the time.

Just recently, Wayne & Birdman settled their differences. Billboard reports:

On June 7, over three years later, Cash Money and Lil Wayne finally settled their lawsuits for an undisclosed sum. Each side retained their stakes in previously established Young Money deals, and Wayne was paid in full. Young Money now belongs solely to Wayne, and its distribution deal with Republic remains in place. Tha Carter V will be the first album in his career to not have the Cash Money logo on it.

Now, it's back to the music!

Wayne dropped the 23-track LP on his 36th birthday, September 27th. He didn't drop it until that night, so fans were going crazy on social media all day.

The Young Money honcho rounded up a slew of artists for features, including Ashanti, XXXTentacion, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and his son's mother Nivea. He also added his daughter Reginae Carter to be featured on his track "Famous" where she flexes her vocal skills on the hook.

Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj gave 'Nae her stamp of approval:

To celebrate his birthday and album release, Wayne and friends turned up at Hubble Studios in LA last night. The party, nicknamed "Wayne's World," was a long awaited celebration and featured many of the rapper's favorite things, including traditional New Orleans food (as catered by Trap Kitchen), candy and marijuana bar while a skate ramp outside played host to tricks and ollies from skateboarders all night. And just when you that was all, the party also featured two real life goats to pay home to our own Greatest of All Time.

And look who was there...

There have been rumors that Reginae and YFN Lucci had broken up after he allegedly got another chick pregnant. We're not sure how accurate those rumors are, however, they are definitely still together....or back on.

One of Lucci's friends hopped on Instagram Live under his account during the party and captured video of Reginae and Lucci chatting it up.

Rapper Kevin Gates sat down with Sway recently and revealed Lil Wayne once threatened to blackball him from the industry if he didn't sign with him. Oh?

"When Wayne sat across that table with Mack Maine and Wayne says 'man if you not over here, you ain't gon' eat. If you not over here, you know what I'ma do to you if you not over here. I'ma eat you."

Damn. The "I Don't Get Tired" rapper revealed when Wayne said that to him it was one of the scariest moment of his life as a young artist. He thought he was DUNZO.

"You trying to learn the game, you don't really know the game, and you got an artist at the top telling you that if you don't sign over here all or nothin', you ain' going to sign nowhere," he said.

Cardi B and Meek Mill hung out and snapped a picture at an event in NYC and now rumors of a collaboration are swirling. Also, Lira Galore wants all you females to know that Pierre "Pee" Thomas, Quality Control Music's CEO, is all hers. More inside...

When it comes to power players in Hip Hop right now, Cardi B is certainly on the list. So, it comes as no surprise the "I Like It" rapper was front and center at Billboard's inaugural R&B Hip Hop Power Players event held at Legacy Records in NYC last night.

The event was put on to celebrate and toast 100 talented and accomplished executives, artists and tastemakers who made this year's list.

Bardi ran into her nemesis Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend Meek Mill and snapped a picture with him, rapper Marlo, and Quality Control's Pierre "Pee" Thomas. After the picture started making its rounds on social media, people have been teasing that a Cardi B/Meek Mill collaboration is in the works. Hey, it's not too far-fetched that these two would hop on a track together. And we all know why.

This isn't the first time Meek and Cardi have snapped flicks together. Months after Nicki and Meek broke up in 2017, Cardi and Meek snapped it up on a balcony before Bardi made her way to HOT 97’s “Queens of NY” yacht party.

In an unforgettable look, the new mom popped up on the scene serving up a minty green look. She rocked a fure trimmed Sak Potts coat paired with white Alexander Wang sling back pumps.

Meek was the man of the hour as he was honored with the Impact Award, presented by political commentator Van Jones.

"A lot of people stood up for me and a lot of people broke their necks for me," the MMG rapper said. "I thought it was only right to use some of my platform and my power to actually reach back and help the people that stood up for me." Mill went on by saying, "I would like to thank Atlantic Records, Roc Nation, my family, everybody, Billboard for getting recognized. You know where we come from we don't even get recognized for the shit we do most of the time so it's almost surprising and overwhelming when we get in these type of situations." He concluded saying, "I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing and making change and impact. And still spitting that hot shit like I do."

"I have personally witnessed him stand in front of the Governor of his own state and that governor say 'yes, yes, yes' to his demand for justice," Van said as he presented Meek with the award. "You are about to witness the rise of a new kind of hip-hop superhero who is moving the culture from saying my pain is about me to my pain is about us. Saying my breakthrough for myself on the charts is going to be a breakthrough for the community in the courts, and who is not just going to make hits but make laws."

Billboard also honored Quality Control Music’s CEO Pierre "Pee" Thomas (pictured below) and COO Kevin "Coach K" Lee (pictured above with Meek) as Executives of the Year.

IG model Lira Galore (who used to be engaged to rapper Rick Ross) was there to show support for her man. Yes, they are still together despite rumors that there was trouble in paradise. One of the City Girls rappers (Yung Miami) went on social media recently making claims that Pee wasn't engaged to ANYONE even though Lira has been showing off this HUGE rock on THAT finger on social media. 

It's unclear if Lira and Pee are engaged or not. What we do know is that they are still together, at least, for now.

We love when a rap queen uses her platform to encourage her fans to hit the polls during her performance at the Global Citizen Festival. See her performance, get deets on her new "Taki Taki" video with Selena Gomez and see what Bardi's sister Hennessy said about Nicki Minaj doing drugs inside...

It was first announced Cardi B's first official post-pregnancy performance would go down at the American Music Awards. But, Cardi B pulled a fast one and popped up to perform at the 2018 Global Citizen Festival's "Be The Generation" in Central Park in NYC over the weekend.

Bardi stepped out on stage in a red fringe two-piece by Sergio Hudson that featured sheer mesh panels to perform her hits. The NYC rapper ran through her hits, including "I Like It," "Bartier Cardi," "Be Careful," "Drip Drip," "Bodak Yellow," and more.

While she slayed her performance, she admitted she had a whole breakdown before she hit the stage.

“I’m nervous, I’m sweating, I had a nervous breakdown today, but it’s fine and I’m here and trying to change the world,” she told the audience.

And she's definitely doing her part in trying to make a positive change in the world.  Even if everything aint positive in her personal life.  We can't all be perfect.

Bardi took a moment to encourage her fans to get out and vote before introducing a special message from Forever First Lady Michelle Obama!

"We need to vote," she said. "Especially us...the millennials. Under 25 and over 18. We need to vote. Last election, everybody took it as a joke. Even me, I'm not even going to front because I thought, 'Man, that person isn't going to win' and look where we at now."

"We need to vote so we can change our community. We need someone who's going to represent us, who can protect us. Not put us in beef with everybody else."

After her call to action, FLOTUS appeared in a video raising awareness for her "When We All Vote" campaign to remind young people to get out and vote in the midterm elections this November.

The Bronx rapper joined forces with fellow Latin artists Selena Gomez, DJ Snake and Osuna on a new track titled "Taki Taki." But, what does "Taki Taki" mean?

Bardi explains in the behind-the-scenes clip above.

"'Taki Taki' I know for a fact is a word that Osuna made up. Because these reggaeton artists be making sh*t up. It's like 'What does it mean?' I don't know, but it flows right," she said.

Osuna also shared his version of what "Taki Taki" means, saying:

"'Taki Taki' is nothing, it's a dance. It's like a flow. It's new. That's a new sound. It's new. I don't know what I'm saying. 'Taki Taki' is not in Spanish."

Cardi B. threw all the shade while pulling up at the police department in Queens to turn herself in for questioning.  The latest in the strip club attack saga inside...

Cardi turned herself in at a Queens police precinct this morning in regards to the strip club attack drama.  She hopped out the car dressed in her most modest look - and by modest we mean everything covered except the highest front split on earth - with two huge black umbrellas "shading" her from the crowd:

When she walked out, she was uncovered and all smiles (atop).

ABC 7 New York reports:

Cardi B is likely to receive a desk appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.

Detectives are sorting out whether or not she was involved in the attack.

On August 29th, real life sisters and bartenders say they were assaulted at their job at Angels Strip Club and ended up needing treatment at a hospital. They believe Cardi retaliated over rumors that at least one has been cheating with Cardi's rapper husband of 1 year, Offset.

Cardi was indeed there at the club the night in question, but her people say it was because Offset and the Migos had a scheduled appearance there. Based on video we previously posted, Offset definitely was at the bar at one point - instead of his VIP section where bottles could have easily been brought to him - when Cardi walked up and had words with him.

Jade (right) and Baddie Gi (left)  claim someone from Cardi B’s entourage threw bottles and chairs at them, causing injuries. They have sued the rapper for damages, but there's currently no evidence she was directly involved in the attack.

Reality television is welcoming some familiar faces back to the limelight. Soulja Boy, Nia Riley, Jessica Dime and Shawne Williams are reportedly joining "Marriage Boot Camp." Also, Joe Budden and Cyn Santana are returning to "Love & Hip Hop." Deets inside...

Well, it's safe to say you don't actually have to be married to star on "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars."

Two couples who aren't married will allegedly appear on the upcoming season of the WEtv series. Former "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" couple Soulja Boy and Nia Riley and Jessica Dime and Shawne Williams are said to be bringing their issues on the show in hopes of working things out.

According to The Jasmine Brand, the reality series is doing a "LAHH" edition that will only feature couples from the franchise. As of now, these are the only two couples who have been confirmed for the show.

Sources tell the site that the "LAHH" edition of "Marriage Boot Camp" has already been filmed and production has already wrapped. So that means, the show could be popping up on our television screens sooner rather than later.

We could see why Soulja Boy and Nia would appear on the show (breakups, makeups, cheating, etc.)...but what's good with Dime and Shawne? They just welcomed a baby girl over the summer and based on their social media accounts, it looks like everything is good in the hood. The couple was just all loved up during Beyonce and Jay Z's "On The Run II" tour stop in LA.

However, we do know that just because it looks good on social media, doesn't mean that's what's really going on behind-the-scenes.

None of the couples have confirmed or denied their involvement on the show. We reached out to "Marriage Boot Camp" producers, but they said they didn't have any new information at the time, so we will likely just have to wait and see.

The former "Love & Hip Hop" stars will be returning for the upcoming season when season nine kicks off in November, according to Variety. While their stories on the reality show never crossed paths, they'll both be making a comeback with a brand new storyline: they're parents!

The couple welcomed their son, Lexington Budden, into the world and we can't get ENOUGH of his cuteness.  Since his arrival, Cyn has kept fans up-to-date with motherhood in super cute pics and videos.

For the new "LAHH" season, it's reported Remy Ma, Papoose, Safaree, Juelz Santana, Kimbelaa, Yandy Smith, Rich Dollaz, Maino and more will be returning.

We wonder if we'll get to see Juelz go through his legal troubles after he was arrested for bringing a loaded gun to the airport. A judge recently granted him permission to move in with his longtime girlfriend Kimbella as he awaits his sentence for the gun charges he copped back in March. He was previously staying at his mother's home in New Jersey on house arrest.

The Dipset rapper pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and one count of carrying a firearm on an airplane. He's set for sentencing on December 12th and he faces up to 20 years in prison. Yikes.

"Love & Hip Hop" returns for another season on November 26th on VH1.

Belcalis Almanzar was all smiles as she left the 109th precinct police department today.  As previously reported, she turned herself in for questioning so cops could determine what role she played - if any - in the attack on two bartenders at Angels strip club in Queens, NY.

The two bartenders who filed a report on Cardi - sisters Jade& Baddie G - allege someone from her camp attacked them at their job last month by throwing chairs and bottles at them.  The reason: Rumors that Offset - Cardi's rapper husband who had a scheduled appearance at that club that night - had been cheating with Jade.  Cardi was also spotted at the club that night.
 

While some reports said Cardi was arrested, it apparently isn't true, technically.  She did turn herself in, and she did get a mugshot though.

ELLE reports:

Cardi was not arrested today, but a mugshot was taken and a court summons was issued. Cardi will be due in court to answer the charges on October 29.

It was just revealed Cardi has been slapped with charges in the case - two misdemeanors of assault and reckless endangerment. 

This isn't Cardi's only recent dust up.  She threw her shoe at her rap enemy Nicki Minajat the Harper's Bazaar ICONS event during Fashion Week last month.  Cardi ended up with a knot on her head from Nicki's security. No charges were filed.

The "I Like It" rapper is due back in court to answer the charges on October 29th.
