The season 2 premiere of the hit series “Underground” is right around the corner, so the cast linked up on the red carpet at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Cali on Tuesday to screen the first episodes and celebrate at the afterparty.
New mom Jurnee Smollet-Bell, who plays Rosalee in the hit series, stunned on the red carpet in a SLAYWORTHY silver Rubin Singer mini dress paired with Christian Louboutin heels. Werk mama!
The “Underground” actress said working on the series while she was pregnant was some of the hardest work in her career and it changed her as an artist.
“I think it’s the hardest work I’ve ever done in my life,” she said. “Being pregnant the entire season, we were racing against the clock to finish. I wasn’t able to have the normal comfort zone. I had to let go of my crutches. It really made me grow as an artist.”

The gorgeous actress caught up with her handsome co-star Aldis Hodge.
While on the carpet, this YBF hottie stressed the importance of the show saying:
“I think enslavement has evolved to what may seem appropriate to this day’s generation. Modern enslavement is imprisonment. We’re still talking about women’s rights. We can’t be the greatest country in the world. I think once we lost that illusionary veil of thinking that we are, we can face the problems and really try to fix them.”
Aldis’ brother Edwin Hodge, who is also an actor, came out to support.
A red strapless high slit gown is sure to heat up the red carpet. And that’s exactly what “Underground” star Amirah Vann served up.
Director Anthony Hemingway, who directed a few episodes for the series, was more than happy to see her we see....
John Legend, who was joined by his wife Chrissy Teigen on the carpet, joins season 2 of “Underground” as the iconic abolitionist Frederick Douglass. He’s also executive producing the series and penned a new original track “In America.”
Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo, who just copped her very first Grammy Award, stood out in a green plunging jumpsuit on the red carpet. She stepped out to show support of the series.
"Burning Sands" star Trevor Jackson was denim downed for the premiere. You can catch him playing a college student trying to get into a fraternity when "Burning Sands" premieres on Netflix on March 10th.
Reality star/swimsuit designer Draya looked nice in a white crop top and black high waisted wide legged trousers. Her fiance Orlando Scandrick liked it too because he was flirting with her via Twitter about how good she looked.
“Major Crimes” star Michael Jamal Warner, funnyman Affion Crockett,Straight Outta Compton star Allen Maldonado, fitness instructor Shaun T, and EMMY nominated actor Bokeem Woodbine represented for the fellas:
