#Issa WIN for Issa Rae!

Before closing out Black History Month, the “Insecure” actress/creator made her way to a panel discussion at The Hollywood Confidential with creator Steve Jones (above) held at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.

The Hollywood Confidential is a forum where Hollywood’s elite come together for a discussion to reveal tips, strategies, and secrets, as well as recount their own behind-the-scenes experiences to professionals trying to get their foot in the door. This week's panel focused on elements of acting, beauty, health, fitness and the breakthroughs taking place around diversity and inclusion.

Not only did the Golden Globe nominee talk about her hit HBO series, she was also presented the Trailblazer Award for her breakthrough in the entertainment industry by Steve and Walgreens Diversity Specialist Rona Forte.

As you may or may not have known, Issa used an online platform (YouTube) to storm her way into the entertainment industry. She went from “Awkward Black Girl” to having one of the top cable series on television.

Most people talk about what they want, Issa actually did it. And did it on her own terms. Gotta love it!

After winning her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress on Sunday, the FENCES star was spotted grabbing take out at Sharky's Mexican restaurant in L.A. And we see she’s still rocking her Oscar ‘do.

The YBF actress also rocked some funky, gold high top sneakers that matched her “Sriracha” t-shirt. HOT!

She had been nominated twice before this year's awards. The "How To Get Away With Murder" star was up for Best Actress in 2012 for her role in The Help and she was up for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Doubt. Third time's s a charm!

There’s a “Crime Watch Daily” update on former Hi-Five singer Russell Neal after he allegedly murdered his wife. More inside…

A few years ago, we told you former Hi-Five singer Russell Neal had been arrested for allegedly killing his wife Catherine Martinez after she was found dead inside their apartment. He was accused of beating and stabbing her to death.

Now, he’s claiming insanity. “Crime Watch Daily” is investigating the story and they reported Russell is currently being held in a mental institution. It’s said he’s only responding to the name “Jesus” and he’s currently awaiting a mental competency hearing.

“The only thing I recognized about her because she was so decomposed was her teeth,” Catherine’s mother Mary Figueroa tells Crime Watch Daily. “[He] wasn’t incompetent when [he]...was spending her money.”

Damn.

And here's another shocker. Russell’s younger brother Ronald did the EXACT same thing! He was arrested and charged in the murder of his wife Stovyne Neal in 2008. He tried to use an insanity plea as well, but ended up pleading guilty to murder and was sentenced to 80 years in prison.

Yikes.

Fat Joe chopped it up with Funk Flex about everything in Joe's career timeline, including what they called "the death blow" from Remy (1:33:00, 1 hour 33 min mark).

He said:

Women don't get along. They all want to be "the one." Remy been chillin' man. Remy been doing black love, chillin' with her husband. She been minding her business, complying with parole. Remy, like she said, if she was talking about somebody she would mention them. So she's battling every girl. A little girl from Texas trying to come up rapping, anybody."

I want to be clear to say my sister is the best female rapper on planet earth hands down.

He went on to say Remy was just fine...until she heard two tracks from Nicki Minaj a few weeks ago that she felt were dissing her. He told Remy to not worry about it and just get her money. But he says Nicki was running the game while Remy was locked up, but she was bullying. He says he feels like the beef was pre-determined on Nicki's end. And here we are. 

Flex said Nicki's making a mistake by not responding because it's bad for hip hop, plus she needs to deliver if she's claiming the Queen of Hip Hop title.

Too Short has some legal issues on his hands. Get the latest about the rapper reportedly being investigated in a rape case inside…

Too Short is being accused of rape by a woman that was once close to him.

According to TMZ, the alleged woman accusing him of rape is a protégée of the rapper and was signed to his record label. She claims Too Short sexually assaulted her in a L.A. residence on November 1st. She went to the cops a month later. The unidentified woman made it a point to tell the cops she was a virgin and that her provocative videos are no form of consent.

But, the west coast rapper feels she’s screaming rape as revenge. People close to his camp reveal to the site that he never had sexual contact with the alleged victim. They say she was on his record label and he ended up dropping her.

Then, all of a sudden these allegations pop up. Since she asked to get back on the label and he said no, Short feels “this as a form of extortion.”

As of yet, Too Short hasn’t spoken to police.

The Young Money rapper is across the pond living it up at Paris Fashion Week with some YBF models.

The “Anaconda” rapper, dressed in a Balmain dress, linked up with models Jourdan Dunn and Winnie Harlow, and Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing at Manko Paris Cabaret following the Balmain runway show for some after hour fun.

As Rihanna and Drake’s “Work” track blares through the speakers in the club, Nicki puts her hands on her knees and serves up a quick twerk in her VIP session with her friends. Check it:

Chris Brown is sick and tired of the bullsh*t. He’s responding to a new report that details how his life is spiraling out of control due to excessive drug use. Hear what Breezy has to say about it inside…

Billboard unveiled an explosive investigative piece that paints a story about how Chris Brown’s life is spiraling out of control due to excessive drug use. In the profile, the music magazine examines the last three years of Breezy’s personal and professional life, speaking with some of his former associates and some people currently in his inner circle.

“He will cuss you out and say, ‘Hey, man, I’m ­functioning. I’m going to get the work out.’ And he does,” says a current member of Brown’s team. “But [he’s not] the first functional star who thinks they can handle those powerful drugs. I got to say with all my heart, he’s dancing with death.”

“Sober Chris is a solid guy with a big heart. High Chris and Chris coming off drugs is ungrateful, unappreciative and a foul person who most people don’t want to deal with,” says a close former ­associate. “Good Chris? You’ll fight for him. Unfortunately, the last couple of years, it has been drug Chris. That Chris is not a good dude.”

“You can talk to any drug addict or ­chemically imbalanced person -- it doesn’t just go away,” says a former member of Brown’s inner circle. “It’s something you have to work on. You have to change your lifestyle. And he’s not doing the things he needs to do to get well, so he’s never going to be well. The kid is going to hit rock bottom.”

Well, Breezy got wind of the piece and decided to respond via Instagram Stories to let his fans know he’s fine.

“I’m tired of reading about some sh*t soon as I’ve got something poppin’,” he said. “Soon as I want to promote a tour, a party, a f*cking album, anything. Y’all bring up something.”

He said everyone is concerned with who he’s dating, but he said he can be seen with whomever he wants to be seen with and added, “I’m not hurting out here.”

Remy Ma dubs herself as being extra petty and her petty levels were at an all time high this morning on the “Wendy Williams Show.” The self-proclaimed Queen of Rap hit up daytime TV this morning dressed for a funeral. Nicki Minaj’s funeral to be exact.

Sitting alongside her “brother” Fat Joe, Rem explained what caused her to go lethal on the Head Barb on her diss track“ShETHER."Guess what? It had nothing to do with the shade thrown in her recent raps. It’s what Nicki is doing behind-the-scenes that has Remy pissed off.

“It was the behind-the-scenes things that you people would never know about as far as trying to keep me off red carpets, and trying to make sure awards don’t go to me or she’s not going to be in attendance, or trying to get people to make bad reports about my album sales or just anything that I’m doing to make me look less and make her look better. When you try to stop my bag, when you try to stop me from taking care of my children, I have a problem with that.”

Remy explained Nicki started it and that she likes to play these games, pointing out how she started beefs with Lil Kim, Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus. She said she didn’t care what Nicki was saying on records, but she does have a problem with her trying to get “ShETHER” pulled off Soundcloud and iTunes.

“You so up, and you’re so on top of everybody and you’re better than everybody…why you worried about little old me? I just came home from prison. I don’t want no problems with anybody.”

As for the research she did for the “ShETHER” track, she said she can be friends with someone, but she’s always “cataloging” information just in case you ever try to come for her.

While the rest of us waits patiently for Nicki to respond, Remy said she’s not waiting on a response from the "Anaconda" rapper.

“I’m not waiting to hear anything. Everything that I’ve said, I said.”

Later, Remy said she learned a valuable lesson from Nicki on how to treat people. She said so many people have come out of the wood work to spill tea on Nicki.

She said she was going to say one last thing and then she’s not discussing it anymore.“This person, just based on what I’ve witnessed, is not a nice person.”

The Bronx rapper said Nicki made a mistake picking a fight with her, “Someone once said when they were in the middle of a rap battle, you gotta be careful who you choose your battles with.”

In closing Remy reflected on some advice given to her by her grandmother saying, “My grandmother told me to never speak ill of the dead.”

Life is grand for the Obamas after the White House, copping record-breaking book deals for their White House memoirs. Find out how much they’ll be raking in, plus deets on our former president Barack Obama getting a special award inside….

We told you former President Barack Obama would be getting a FAT check for his memoir, following his eight-year presidency. Now, some numbers are in.

Mr. Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama have inked book deals that are possibly the most lucrative deals ever for White House memoirs.

Now, the numbers aren't super concrete just yet, but according to reports, Mr. and Mrs. Obama are getting paid anywhere from $30 million to $65 million for both books by Penguin Random House. Cha-ching!

Even if you went with the low figure, $15 million is the most any former president (or first lady) has been paid for their memoir. Clinton was offered a $15 million advance for 2001’s “My Life,” selling 2.2 million copies. He currently holds the record.

George W. Bush got $7 million for 2010's "Decision Points," selling 2.6 million copies.

“We are absolutely thrilled to continue our publishing partnership with President and Mrs. Obama,” Penguin Random House CEO Markus Dohle said in a statement about the deal.

No word yet on the titles of the books, when they’ll be published or the actual amount of what the former first couple will be getting paid. But, what we do know is we can’t WAIT to get our hands on the copies because we need to know everything that went down behind-the-scenes over the course of the last eight years.

Mr. Obama is set to receive a high honor in the coming months.

The former POTUS Obama has been named the 2017 "Profile in Courage" award honoree by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.

Reports reveal former President O is receiving the honor for "expanding health security for millions of Americans, restoring diplomatic relations with Cuba and leading a landmark international accord to combat climate change." He’s set to receive the award during a ceremony in May.

According to the Profile in Courage website, the award is given to a public official (or group of public servants) from any level of government each year "whose actions demonstrate the qualities of politically courageous leadership in the spirit of 'Profiles in Courage,' President Kennedy's 1957 Pulitzer prize-winning book.”

With everything Obama did for ALL Americans during his presidency, he definitely earned it. Congrats!

Since Nicki Minaj has yet to respond, Foxy Brown has decided to pen a clap back at Remy Ma. And there are rumors that Fox just had a baby! Get it all inside…

It’s been almost a full week since Remy Ma dropped her “ShETHER” diss track on Nicki Minaj and still no official response. At least, not from Nicki.

But, Foxy Brown is jumping in the mix to add her 2 cent. You may be wondering why is Fox getting in the middle of this? Well for starters, she and Nicki are cool. Secondly, Rem threw a subtle shot at Fox on her “ShETHER” track and that was enough to conjure up a response from the Brooklyn raptress.

On “ShETHER,” Rem raps,“Talking sh*t about me to a death b*tch.” She also said, “And usually I have sympathy for the impaired. But not when you hard of hearin' from untreated gonorrhea."

Sounds like those lines were aimed at Fox since she temporarily lost her hearing in 2005 and the rumor that Jay Z once gave her gonorrhea.

Well, Fox served up a response to Remy in a one-minute snippet she released today titled “Breaks Over.”

Rapping over Jay Z’s “Takeover” track, Fox fired off a series of disrespectful bars aimed at Rem.

“Brooklyn, Imma kill this b*tch. The takeover, the fake’s over. Got a little shine, okay, thank Mona.”

The “Mona” reference is in regard to Remy starring on Mona Scott Young’s “Love & Hip Hop” franchise.

Foxy gave a shoutout to Nicki (Nick’s my b*tch), confirming she and the Head Barb are good friends. She also said Remy needs to stop with the gangsta talk because when they both were in jail, Remy was shook.

“When we was on the island, Rem was in PC shook. She was never tough, she was never wildin’.”

Then, Foxy hit below the belt, commenting on Remy not being capable of having children.

“Pap fucked that dirty-ass BX beast. I’m a motherf*ckin’ BK savage. You heard? Yeah, I heard about that bitch miscarriage.”

Talk show host Wendy Williams made the announcement on her show that Foxy recently gave birth to a baby girl.

“Literally, as I’m putting on my bracelet, the telephone rings,” she said. “Congratulations to Foxy Brown. She had a baby girl.”

Wait…what?! Who even knew she was pregnant? Wendy went on to hint at who could possibly be the child’s father revealing,

“Allegedly it’s a reggae star and I’m not going to say his name because I think that me and Foxy have some sort of relationship and the bureau does have a working telephone. So, maybe she’ll call us.”

"We thought it would be interesting to put a superstar like Rih in such an everyday surrounding," said Shannon Stokes, who styled the shoot alongside Farren Fucci. "And Farren added the 'future' angle to give it a twist, so it became a challenge to envision what a girl who worked there might look like," he added.

If you thought Oprah was considering running against Donald Trump for president in 2020, guess again.

The media mogul’s bestie, Gayle King, responded to Oprah’s “joke” during her interview with billionaire David Rubenstein on Bloomberg's "The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations."

In the interview, Oprah alluded to possibly reconsidering running for president saying,

"I thought, 'Oh, gee, I don't have the experience, I don't know enough.' And now I'm thinking, 'Oh?'"

Not so fast. Lady O doesn’t appear to making any plans to run the country. "No, that won't be happening, but I mean, I did used to think, well gee, you had to know so much more than I thought you had to know."

To further confirm her nonexistent presidential bid, Gayle said it will NEVER happen.

“I was in the audience that day and it was clearly a joke when she was playing with David because they have such a great repoire. But I also heard on the Oprah Winfrey Show that you have the right to change your mind. But, I would bet my first, second born and any unborn children to come that that ain’t never happening. N-E-V-A-H. NEVAH!”

Oscar nominated actress Naomie Harris is sick and tired of people asking her when she’s going to have children. You know, once a woman turns a certain age, folks love to grill them about marriage and children.

The 40-year-old actress, who has been in a relationship with Peter Legler since 2012, told the DailyMail she finds it odd that people would ask such a personal question.

“People ask, ‘So when are you going to have children?’," she said. “I think it’s a really odd thing, as it’s such a personal decision. And you also don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life.”

It surely doesn't mean Kim can be the only person to rock the look though, so Nicki threw on her Agent Provocateur pasties and sashayed around Paris in Veronique Leroy shades and Alexandre Vauthier shoes for a different spin on the look.

Oh no!  Fantasia was admitted to the hospital after a major emergency yesterday.  Details inside....

Fantasia's been on the road performing on her Rock Soul Tour, but yesterday it all came to a halt.

Her husband, Kendall Taylor, took over her Instagram to relay the news to her fans that she had suffered an accident that caused 2nd degree burns.  Despite her trying to perform her show in Memphis last night anyway, she was advised against it.

He posted:

Speaking on behalf of my wife: "She walks as a powerful force in the earth. Impacting everything she touches and encounters. Bonding time!

Nick Cannon became a new dad again a few weeks ago when his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell gave birth to their son Golden “Sagon” Cannon.

Over the weekend, the former “America’s Got Talent” host got his 5-year-old twins Roc & Roe together to meet their new little brother.

On Sunday, Nick share a few flicks from their family gathering. Nick's mother and grandmother were also in the mix for the family fun. Nick said his grandmother HATES taking pictures, so that explains why she's mean mugging the camera.

Roe was on her big sister duties, cradling her baby brother in her arms as she looked up and smiled for the camera.

And Roe was all swagged out, showing his baby brother how to be cool. Too cute!

“America’s Got Talent” is looking to replace Nick Cannon after he announced he no longer wanted to be affiliated with the show.

Production sources tell TMZ, “AGT” is looking at three YBFers to fill Nick’s spot – comedian/actor Marlon Wayans, comedian Tone Bell and funnyman Brandon Mychal Smith. Tone is a stand up comedian who has worked on shows like “Chelsea Lately” and “Key and Peele.” Brandon is reportedly a Disney star, who has appeared on several shows.

TMZ photogs caught up with Nick after dining at Craig's in L.A. on Sunday and he gave his opinion on who he thinks should be his replacement. Find out who he said above.

Former President Barack Obama is still the leader of the new cool, even out of his buttoned-up suits and ties.  Check out how he still can make us blush in a leather jacket and jeans – especially like he did this weekend – inside.

Back in '92, a then Harvard Law Review Editor Barack Obama was fresh to death in his afro and leather bomber jacket and jeans.  Yesterday, he tapped back into his original pre-Presidential style.

Mr. O and Mrs. Michelle Obama made their way to the National Gallery of Art in D.C. to take in the new "Theaster Gates: The Minor Arts" exhibit.  The art lovers were accompanied by plain clothed secret service, and still look like they're living their BEST lives, chile.

The 55-year-old cool dad rocked a brown leather Canali jacket, a J.Crew button-down, a pair of Levi's and matching brogues, likely by his fave shoe designer Allen Edmonds.

Michelle Obama kept it casual in all black, and looked effortlessly chic.

The first floor of the Gallery was shut down during their visit, and the huge crowd shouted, applauded and cheered when they saw why:

Needless to say, Obama appears to be unbothered by Trump's latest defamatory accusations that the former President had his property at Trump Towers wiretapped right before the election.  Deep sigh.

The Deflector-in-Chief seems to be trying his damndest to divert attention away from Jeff Sessions' purgery foolishness when the new Attorney General claimed he never met with Russian authorities (and was proven to be a liar in that sense).  The house of cards seems to be tumbling as mutiple people in Trump's administration have met -- off the record -- with Russian authorities.  We do not have many diplomatic relations with Russia.  It's problematic at best.

The 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards brought the biggest names in entertainment and fans together at The Forum in L.A. to celebrate all things music last night. Besties Christina Milian and Karrueche Tran turned the event into a girls night out as they hit the red carpet together for some fun.

C-Milli stunned on the red carpet in a strapless Rubin Singer dress – that looked like it was painted on— and Christian Louboutin heels.

Karrueche is putting all of her Chris Brown drama behind her after filing a restraining order against the R&B singer. The “Claws” actress heated up the red carpet in a red silk cut-out back Yousef Akbar ensemble, showing off her toned abs.

New dad DJ Khaled was on daddy duty on the carpet with his 4-month-old son Asahd Khaled. Too cute!

Khaled brought his fiancee Nicole Tuck along for the fun as well.

The Black Panther movie is currently being filmed in Atlanta, but some of the stars took a break to celebrate one castmate's birthday. 

Over the weekend, Lupita Nyong’o turned 34.  So she linked up with several of her besties (and now co-stars), including Danai Gurira, Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya and Chadwick Boseman, to party it up at her "Wakandans in Zumuda" Coming To America themed bash. And we’re SO jealous. It looked like the birthday girl and her friends had loads of fun in full on costumes:

Lupita looked GORGEOUS in her African-inspired garb.

And there was plenty of cake to go around. Fun times.

Kandi Burruss pulled out text receipts to dispel Porsha Williams’ rumor that Kandi wanted to drug her and take her into her “sex dungeon” on last night’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Porsha then tried to clear up the mess on “Watch What Happens Live.” Deets inside….

Last night’s episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” turned explosive when the reality stars hopped on a plane and jetted to Maui for a fun vacation. The group all sat down for dinner and Kandi kicked off the discussion whipping out screenshots of text messages between herself and Porsha after they kissed one night in the club a few years ago.

Kandi, who doesn’t drink or do drugs, was trying to clear her name after Porsha started spreading rumors that Kandi tried to drug her and take her into her alleged “sex dungeon.” The former Xscape member wanted to prove that Porsha was actually the aggressor, revealing that Porsha once told her she wanted to “eat her p**** until she came.” Porsha has also been spreading rumors that Kandi’s husband Todd Tucker has been going by an alias, Marvin, to pick up chicks.

Once the text receipts were passed around to everyone at the table, Kandi became extremely angry with Porsha who continued to act as if she didn’t do anything wrong.

“I will sue your a** if you keep saying that, I know that you lying a** b*tch," said Kandi. "You ain't even thinking about how I have got kids, don't try and ruin my life and my business with that sort of accusation that can sit with you for life.”

She continued, “You know I have fun but the one thing I would not do is no stuff about drugs and to put that there about me. Oh my God it is taking everything in me not to choke the s*** out of this b*tch”

Porsha stopped by the clubhouse for an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with Power 105 radio personality Charlagmange tha God (along with her bestie Phaedra Parks in the audience).

The Naked Lingerie owner tried to break down the timeline of events that led up to that explosive night in Maui. She said someone TOLD her that Kandi wanted to drug her and take her in her sex dungeon last year. She said the text messages Kandi pulled out were from three years ago, BEFORE she heard the rumor. Porsha said Kandi has every right to deny those rumors, but she was simply repeating what she was told.

As to why she didn’t out her friend Phaedra as the one who initially started the “gay rumors” about Kandi, she said she’s a loyal friend and didn’t want to throw Phaedra under the bus.
