Finally!  Victoria's Secret apparently got the memo that melanin is in (and it always has been), because plenty of YBF models slipped into their lingerie this year for the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show.

Fab chicks Leomie Anderson and Zuri Tibby were spotted backstage in Paris Wednesday night gearing up for their big walks down the runway.

Model Jasmine Tookes was tapped to wear the traditional million dollar Fantasy Bra this year, with this one called the "Bright Night Fantasy Bra."

Hot.

Herieth Paul (first) and Maria Borges (second) went for beautiful cropped coifs for this year's show.

Just one day after receiving her Shoe of the Year award, Rihanna jetted home to Barbados for her country's Independence celebration.  And, of course, to meet Prince Harry.  Pics and deets inside...

Rihanna sat and kiki'd with Prince Harry during the Barbados' Toast the Nation event on Wednesday on the beautiful island.  As the former travel ambassador for her home country and Barbados' native daughter, it's only right she's front and center for such a huge occasion.

The twosome were seen laughing it up throughout the event.  He was there on behalf of his grandmother the Queen of England to help Barbados celebrate 50 years of independence from the British monarchy.

We love a good chick flick around these parts, especially when it stars some of our YBF faves.

Singer/actress Kelly Rowland, “Code Black” star Meagan Good, Almost Christmas star Keri Hilson and “The Soul Man” actress Kellee Stewart are keeping the checks rolling in.  They will be joining forces to portray friends looking for love in the LIFETIME original movie, Love By The 10th Date.

Below is a synopsis of the TV movie:

Love By The 10th Date follows Gabby (Good), Nell (Stewart), Billie (Hilson) and Margot (Rowland) who balance their dating adventures alongside their career ambitions at an upscale digital magazine in Los Angeles, under the watchful eye of their editor, Maureen (Cat Deeley).

Inspired by the site’s relationship advice column to find the one, Gabby and Nell embark on their own journeys towards the elusive 10th date, the dating world's Holy Grail when it comes to commitment. Meanwhile, Billie finds herself at a major crossroads in her marriage and Margot unsuccessfully tries to fight her growing attraction to a famously controversial reggae musician she is assigned to interview. As the ladies navigate the ups and downs of modern dating, romance, exes and friendships, they learn what they really want out of life and love. Jackson stars as Dante, a creative director at the site and Bowyer-Chapman is Freddy, Nell’s bisexual boyfriend.

Sounds juicy.

There are heavy hitters behind the project, including Nzingha Stewart (With This Ring, "The Catch") who will write, direct and produce the film. Wendy Finerman (Forrest Gump, The Devil Wears Prada) and Lisa Zupan (P.S. I Love You, Drumline: A New Beat) have been tapped to executive produce.

The two-hour romantic comedy will premiere January 28th at 8pm EST. Mark your calendars!

Another new project coming to television...

Get ready to get a sneak peek into the life of musical icon Marvin Gaye.

Triple threat Jamie Foxx will serve as an executive producer alongside de Passe Jones Entertainment’s Suzanne de Passe and Madison Jones for a limited miniseries about the life of one of Motown's most successful artists Marvin Gaye. Marvin gave us classics like "Sexual Healing" and "Let's Get It On" before he was fatally shot in 1984 at the age of 44 by his father following a family dispute in their L.A. home.

“I’ve been a huge fan my whole life. His brilliance in music unparalleled,” Jamie tells The Hollywood Reporter. “Marvin Gaye’s story has always fascinated me.”

Marvin’s son Marvin Gaye III has given his blessing over the new project as he will serve as an executive producer. “This project will be a powerful and definitive telling of Marvin Gaye’s life story,” Marvin Gaye III said.

Motown founder Berry Gordy, who has served as a mentor to de Passe ever since he hired her as a creative assistant to his legendary label decades ago, is also excited about the miniseries.“Marvin was the truest artist I have ever known,” Berry Gordy said. “I am confident that this is the right team to bring his story to the audience in an authentic and compelling way.”

Suzanne de Passe, who has executive produced multiple Motown television specials, has been working to get this project off the ground for a while. She told THR,“We’ve been involved in a number of attempts to get this done, and now that we’ve been able to marshal all the forces, and Jamie’s come on board as a partner, we’re excited to get going.”

Suzanne de Passe and Madison Jones will shop it to linear and digital outlets and they’re currently in negotiations with Sony/ATV to determine which songs will be used on the show.

Looks like we won't be seeing another white washed Awards season.  The Critics' Choice Awards nominations for movies have been announced. And our YBF celebs are in the running in several categories. Find out who will be trekking to the ceremony inside…

With awards season right around the corner, the Broadcast Film Critics Association’s Critics’ Choice Awards has released nominations for this year’s movie awards, following the television nominations. It's a great indication for who will be Oscar contenders.

La La Land did a total sweep this year nabbing a whopping 12 nominations. John Legend is an executive producer on the film and he also stars in the film. La La Land is in the running for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, and two Best Song nominations among other categories.

Indie film Moonlight was right behind La La Land in nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director (Barry Jenkins) and Best Acting Ensemble. Naomie Harris is in the running for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Moonlight, her co-star Mahershala Ali is in the running for Best Supporting Actor and Alex R. Hibbert is up for Best Young Actor/Actress for his role in the drama. Alex will go head-to-head against Madina Nalwanga (Queen of Katwe) in the Best Young Actor/Actress category.

Denzel Washington has been nominated for Best Actor and Best Director for the upcoming drama Fences. His co-star Viola Davis is in the running for Best Supporting actress and the film has been nominated for Best Picture and Best Acting Ensemble.

Janelle Monae has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the upcoming biographical drama Hidden Figures. She's up against Viola and Naomie in the category. The film is also nominated in the Best Acting Ensemble category.

Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Central Intelligence has been nominated in the Best Comedy category and The Rock has been nominated for Best Actor in Comedy for his role in the film. Moana, which also stars The Rock, is up for Best Animated Feature and Best Song.

Rapper Common and iconic singer Patti LaBelle kicked off World AIDS Day 2016 with a bang!

YBF stars joined forces to perform at AIDS Healthcare Foundations’“Keep The Promise” concert held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on the eve of World AIDS Day.

It was a special evening as legendary humanitarian Harry Belfonte was honored for his lifetime of charitable work.

Lady in red! Ms. Patti is looking exquisite these days.

If you haven’t heard, she’ll be hosting her own cooking show, “Patti LaBelle’s Place,” set to debut on the Cooking Channel on December 3rd at 11am EST. We wonder if she'll be sharing her recipe to her Patti Pies that sell like hot cakes -- literally -- in Walmart. 

“A Different World” alum Dawnn Lewis and former “The View” host Rosie Perez were all smiles as they caught up on the carpet.

Rosie just wrapped up filming a new series titled "Pure," set to debut in 2017. 

Our girl Tasha Smith, who has a recurring role on "Empire," worked the carpet in a laser cut out dress.

Award winning casting director Robi Reed and rapper Doug E. Fresh made their way on the carpet before the concert. 

By the way, Robi's Reed for Hope Foundation presented Common with the Sunshine Award during the evening festivities prior to the Love Healthy Virtual Spoken Word Slam, hosted by Doug E. Fresh.

As she made her way down the carpet, the YBF vet posed it up alongside Nancy Aossey, International Medical Corps founder.

Trevor Noah welcomed super conservative and Trump supporter Tomi Lahren on “The Daily Show” for a candid conversation about a few controversial topics. Afterwards, they both defended each other against Twitter trolls. Get the run down, plus check out clips of Van Jones keeping it real on “The View” inside….

This interview was everything you expected it to be.

“The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah invited “TheBlaze” host Tomi Lahren, who’s an avid Trump supporter and conservative, to challenge the the conservative commentator on her opinions about the Black Lives Matter movement, NFLer Colin Kaepernick, president-elect Donald Trump, the KKK and more.

Tomi tried her damnedest to explain that her most controversial comments are not rooted in racism. Really girl?

If you haven’t heard, the 24-year-old conservative pundit was very critical of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the National Anthem. She explained,“Because I criticized a black person or I criticized the Black Lives Matter movement that doesn’t mean that I’m anti-black. It does not mean that I don’t like black people or that I’m a racist. I don’t see color. I go after Hillary Clinton and she’s as white as they come.”

Trevor clapped back with a clever response saying, “You don’t see color? So what do you do at a traffic light? I don’t believe in that at all. There’s nothing wrong with seeing color, it’s how you treat color that’s more important.”

Witty and factual!

Tomi said she feels Colin’s protest isn’t the “right way” to protest and Trevor had several questions to her reasoning.

“When people say that, I’m always fascinated,” Trevor said.“What is the right way? So here is a black man in America who says I don’t know how to get a message across. If I march in the streets, people say I’m a thug. If I go out and I protest, people say that it’s a riot. If I bend down on one knee, then it’s not [the right way].”

“What is the right way?” Noah continued.“That is something that I’ve always wanted to know. What is the right way for a black person to get attention in America?”

Of course, she didn’t have an answer to that question.

On daytime television this morning...

Political activist and commentator Van Jones joined the ladies on “The View” today to discuss his post-election comments on “whitelashing.” He also touched on why he gets so frustrated when people says things like we need to give Donald Trump a chance.

“Give him a chance,” he said before laughing. “This is important to me because people keep saying we have to give him a chance. And we do have to give him a chance. But we don’t have to give him a pass on everything.”

Yep!

He compared Trump appointing Steve Bannon as his chief strategist would have been like President Barack Obama making former head of Louis Farrakhan's Final Call publication his top advisor.

On election night, Van talked about the issue parents would have to face the next morning, explaining to them that Donald Trump would become our next president.

He addressed that during his sitdown saying, “Part of the thing that was hard is that my kids were in L.A. watching me on TV,” he said Thursday morning. “So the first time they see their daddy after this thing happened, I'm not there with them…. So when I say it's hard to be a parent and I’m raising my children not to be bigots and not to be bullies and to do their homework and be prepared and now have to explain this, I was talking to them. I wasn't talking to America. I was talking to my children. And I’m a father first.”

Co-host Jedediah Bila said she couldn’t understand that if the USA is so racist, how did a black man be elected for two terms.  Van had the perfect response to that.

“The majority of white people voted against Obama both times. We keep patting ourselves on the back and saying we elected a black president.” Pointing to himself, he said,“No, WE elected a black president.”

We’ve spotted Kae in New Orleans in between shooting scenes for the upcoming TNT series “Claws,” and now she’s back to work on her web series “The Bay.” By the way, the digital soap opera earned Kae a Daytime Emmy Award.

Yesterday, the budding actress braved 55-degree weather in a bikini to shoot beach scenes with her co-star Kristos Andrews in L.A. for season 3. The duo had to pretend like they were on the beach during the summer, which was quite the task with the temperature being so low.

After making her rounds earlier in the evening, the “Rocky Picture Horror Show” star made her way to Villa Blanca for dinner.

Looks like J.Cole isn't staying away from his fans as long as we thought. Just two months after announcing he's taking a long break from performing, he (seemingly) announced a new album is on the way....next week. Deets inside, plus rapper Kodak Black is free from prison...

an iTunes pre-order page hints that the Fayetteville rapper has been gearing up to release his fourth studio album, 4 Your Eyez Only. The album would be a follow up to his 2014 Forest Hills Drive, which also dropped on the same day two years ago.

He didn't confirm or deny anything until hours later when TIDAL confirmed they would be releasing the album exclusively.  So we guess iTunes is gearing up for a later offering.  Cole is usually quiet about what he's up to, so it comes as no surprise he's doing this release semi-surprise style.

After being in lockup for close to four months, South Florida rapper Kodak Black is now free on $100,000 bond. He was charged with criminal sexual conduct in South Carolina for an incident in February, and now he says he's looking forward to clearing his name. He also said he's "not going back to that life," so we guess his previous lifestyle was to blame for him being in his situation. Or whatever.

The 19-year-old "Skrt" rapper, whose government name is Dieuson Octave, has been posting like crazy since getting out:

The new season of “Basketball Wives: L.A.” just got interesting.

Reality veteran Evelyn Lozada will be returning to VH1’s “Basketball Wives” after quitting the Miami franchise to focus on other opportunities. You’ll recall, she nabbed her own reality show “Livin’ Lozada” on OWN.

Now, she’s going back to her old stomping grounds, but she’ll be bringing the drama in L.A.

Next week, Evelyn will also be guest co-hosting with the ladies on “The Real” where she confirms the news of her return. The official announcement will air Monday, December 5th, but we’ve got a sneak peek. Check it below:

She’s not the only one shaking up Season 6….

L.A. Lakers baller Nick Young is about to have his dirty laundry aired out on national television. The mother of his two children Keonna Green will be joining the cast.

We know y’all remember all the drama that went down when news broke that Keonna was pregnant with Nick’s SECOND child…while he was engaged to rapper Iggy Azalea.

Ish hit the fan when Iggy blasted Nick on social media for getting his ex pregnant unbeknownst to her. She found out like the rest of us…online. So yeah, we’ll get to see how Keonna is living life after having Nick’s 2nd baby (in October) as he moves on with his life with his new rumored girlfriend Paloma Ford.

Also joining the new season….
 

Dwyane Wade’s baby mama Aja Metoyer is another newbie on the show. She’s the mother of the Chicago Bulls baller’s 3-year-old son…the baby D. Wade made while on a break from his now wife Gabrielle Union.

According to TMZ, Evelyn, Keonna and Aja will join Shaunie O’Neal, Tami Roman and Jackie Christie for the next season. No word on if cast mates Malaysia Pargo, Brandi Maxiell, DJ Duggy, Angel Brinks and Angel Love will return, but we hear they got the axe.

BBW Miami was cancelled years ago, but it seems they've basically moved the Miami cast to L.A. to restart it all.

Can't even lie and say we've been here for the show in recent seasons.  All the fighting amongst people we've barely heard of just wasn't worth our DVR space.  Needless to say, though, this season might be worth watching.

Exes 50 Cent and Vivica A. Fox are back at it again. And it's getting ugly. Go inside for the latest in their ongoing feud…

50 Cent is the King of Petty. So, it came to no surprise that he threw shade at his former girlfriend Vivica A. Fox during his appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” last night, especially since she had PLENTY to say about Fif during her last appearance on the show.

You’ll recall, Vivica said her ex-boyfriend looked like a "booty snatcher" on the XXL magazine cover with rapper Soulja Boy, implying that he’s on the down low.

So the “Power” star and producer, rocking a Hugo Boss jacket and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, offered up a reason as to why she would think that. He started off firing shots at Viv, insinuating that she’s washed up. “That’s what happens when you get older in Hollywood,” he said.

“WHHL” host Andy Cohen mentioned what Vivica said about 50’s magazine cover and Fif responded,“I said to myself personally, I said ‘Oh no, because I let her lick my ass she thinks I’m gay.’”

This is nothing new. Around this time last year, he posted up a photoshopped meme of Vivica licking his butt right after her “WWHL” appearance.

As for that social media break, Kofi said he’s taking some advice that Oprah gave him before “Queen Sugar” took off. He said he’s taking a break from social media and will be traveling to Ghana for the first time to spend time with his family. He’s of Ghanaian descent.

He wrote: 

Let me start by saying: I love you all, dearly. Thank you seems insufficient, but really, I don't know how else to express my gratitude. That being said; THANK YOU, TRULY, FOR THESE LAST FEW MONTHS! WHAT A F*CKN WAVE!

Oprah called me before the show aired in September and said, simply, "What's about to happen to your life is going to turn you upside down. If you're not careful, it can destroy you, Kof." I knew what she meant, but I didn't get the fullness of what she was saying until the journey began.

As artists, we give arbitrarily from the soul with no paradigm of sustainability. Such an exchange can leave you imbalanced, if not careful, as O said. There's no one but you to tell yourself enough is enough when it comes to self expression. It takes absolute awareness and stillness, through it all, to stay clear.
I thank God for sustaining me through the process. His presence is the only thing that allowed me to get through it. Now that S1 is over, I want to take some time away from social media to recalibrate myself and come back stronger for QS, S2.

I'm not going completely off the grid, but I will be stepping back to spend some quality time with my family these holidays. I'm going home to Ghana for the first time, y'all! Wow! It’s their final Christmas Tree Lighting as the First Family.

"It's time to light the tree, everybody!" POTUS declared to kick off the holiday gathering.

Actress Eva Longoria joined the First Family to help spread the holiday cheer.

POTUS is known for busting out a note or two. Y’all know he loves some Al Green. But, last night was all about the Christmas carols.

Our Commander-in-Chief hopped on the mic alongside Santa Claus to single “Jingle Bells.”

The First Family looked on as several artists hit the stage for Christmas performances:

During the ceremony, the audience reportedly started chanting, "four more years!" as POTUS took his seat in the audience. 

Chance the Rapper rap/sang “Sunday Candy” with a backup choir to back him up.

Gospel singer Yolanda Adams also hit the stage to belt out a Christmas carol.

The National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony airs tonight (December 2nd) at 7:00pm EST on the Hallmark Channel.

Model Jourdan Dunn didn’t hit the runway at Victoria’s Secret coveted fashion show in Paris on Wednesday night, but, she doesn’t seem bothered by it.

In fact, she likely wasn’t expecting an invite after she bashed the lingerie brand last year. The British bombshell slammed the brand on Twitter saying she was happy to NOT be walking in the show after Rihanna cancelled her performance.

Jourdan tweeted,“Feeling so much better about not doing BS…sorry I mean VS now that Rihanna isn’t doing it also.” She eventually deleted the tweet, but the damage had been done. Her tweet made waves on social media QUICK, so we know VS got wind of it.

Either way, she’s living life in the fab lane, nonetheless. The 26-year-old model hit the beach in Miami with her model friend Sigail Currie. She flossed her slim figure in a black floral two-piece while snapping beach selfies.

After some fun in the sun, Jourdan got dressed in all black to attend the American Express Platinum Collective afterparty held at the Faena Penthouse last night.

Hollywood veteran Halle Berry stepped out for a good cause last night.

The Revlon global ambassador (below, pictured with Revlon CEO Fabian Garcia) showed support at the brand’s 2nd Annual Revlon "LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge" held at The Glasshouses in NYC last night. The exclusive cocktail party celebrated the top five fundraising charities from their record-breaking crowdfunding competition.
 

With over 150 women’s health organizations competing, Cancer Research Institute came in 1st place and was awarded the top $1 million donation from Revlon. The Challenge generated a total of $6.37 million in donations—more than double the amount raised in Revlon’s inaugural Challenge last year.

BET CEO Debra Lee is looking to sell her modern D.C. mansion. And it’s on the market for a whopping $13.5 million. Check out her pad inside…

Being the head honcho at BET seems to be quite lucrative.  Apparently.

The network's chief executive Debra Lee is looking to unload her gorgeous contemporary D.C. mansion in the Massachusetts Heights neighborhood. And if you’re looking to cop the pad, it’ll cost you a whopping $13.5 million. Sheesh!

It’s one of the most expensive homes up for sale in the District.  And we gotta admit, it's freakin' FABULOUS.

And get this, the home is located near the home that the First Family will reportedly move into once they leave the White House.  Something tells us she knew to go ahead and make that coinage from a sell because the value definitely just went up.

The 11,000 square-foot home, which has been the residence for some very elite parties, features four-bedrooms, a full theater, a 20-foot tall great room, a wine room, a sauna, a pool, an exercise room, and five outdoor terraces.

In the early 2000s, Debra reportedly had the mansion built by combining two properties into one.

The master suite (above) is fit for a king and queen. It features a fireplace, an adjoining dressing room and a wall of windows that look out on Rock Creek Park. So gorge. 
 

According to the Washington Post, the massive mansion hosted a $40,000-a plate fundraiser for President Barack Obama, a welcome cocktail party for White House social secretary Deesha Dyer and most recently the “after glow” following the Kennedy Center concert in honor of the new Smithsonian African American history museum.

Waka Flocka’s wife Tammy Rivera is opening up about why she decided to stay with her husband after infidelity. And her responses are definitely conversation worthy. Find out what she said inside…

Over the summer, Hip Hop couple Waka Flocka and Tammy Rivera Malphurs had decided to go their separate ways. Both the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star and the ATL rapper took to Instagrams to confirm that they had called it quits after two years of marriage. And they were adamant that it had nothing to do with either of them cheating on the other, despite rumors floating around that Waka had cheated.

About a month later, they decided to give it another shot and made sure to let the world know in a Periscope video. 

In a new interview with Bleu Bombshell, Tammy gets candid about why she chose to take the “No Hands” rapper back. She says he's a good man and justifies his actions (which could possibly include cheating) based on the way he grew up by not having a father in his home as a role model.

“Because my husband is a good man,” she said. “He’s a great man, and I think in today’s society everything is so disposable. Times are not the same, women nowadays you know they say ‘oh let me just do this, I can go out and find me another man, n*ggas aint nothing.’ You know, all of that, and I get it. But then on the other side you have men who aren’t growing up with fathers, not making excuses for men to cheat, but you have men who never seen what a household is supposed to look like – my husband was never in a married household. He didn’t know.”

The swimsuit designer believes the way her husband was brought up and coming into fame so early in his life is what makes his susceptible to cheating:

“His mom was a hustler, you know what i’m saying, she was out in the streets she was the mom and the dad. He doesn’t know—he grew up in the industry. He had early stardom with his career, I think Waka was in his early 20s mid 20s when he dropped his first hit. So you have all these groupies, you have all these things but despite all of that, behind closed doors -this man loves me to death and I know he loves my child to death. He does anything for us.”

Tammy says she took Waka back because its hard to find real love and she feels it would have been “weak” of her to walk away from her marriage without trying to fight for it.

“So, my mom always told me– you can find a man who can financially take care of you, you can find a man who might not be a cheater, might have it all together, might of grew up with a father in their household, but it’s hard to find real love and a person who genuinely loves you and who is willing to change, my husband was willing to change for his family. So why would I give up on my husband. I’m not that type, I think that’s weak of a woman to do that. It’s easier to walk away as opposed to than to speaking up! No we’re going to fight for this we got married. My family is worth fighting for.”

Hmm…

Twitter was in a tizzy over Tammy’s comments and they made sure she heard them. Most folks disagreed with Tammy’s comments while some people agreed with her. She took to her account to address the interview, claiming they switched up her words:

Mariah Carey hit the stage at VH1’s Diva Holiday Special last night. And her new boy toy Bryan Tanaka was right by her side. Teyana Taylor and her red wiggery also took over the stage and several YBF celebs were in attendance for the Christmas celebration. More inside…

Several female powerhouses gathered to celebrate the Christmas holiday for VH1’s Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night event held at the Kings Theatre in NYC last night.

After serving up major PDA with her new beau Bryan Tanaka on the beach, Mariah Carey trekked it to NYC from Hawaii to get back to work. The Grammy Award winner was tapped to perform her original holiday classic, “All I Want For Christmas.” And her new boy wasn’t far behind, since he is her backup dancer after all.

The dancers lifted the Elusive Chanteuse singer, styling in a Nutcracker-inspired outfit, in the air as she belted out the lyrics to her famous track. Then, Mimi reached out and grabbed Bryan’s hand as she continued to serenade the audience.

Mariah really wants us to believe she and Bryan are a couple, or maybe she’s just trying to get all the publicity she can since her new docu-series is set to debut Sunday, December 4th at 9/8c.

Since calling it quits with her ex-fiancé James Packer, she’ll need a new storyline.
