If this isn’t some crazy ish here! Lamar Odom ambushed Khloe Kardashian in Beverly Hills this morning, verbally assaulting her and demanding she speak with him. And there's a pic to prove it. Get it all inside….

Talk about crazy! Or PR stunt?

Lamar Odom must have had some things he seriously needed to get off his chest early this morning. So much so, he planned an alleged “attack” on his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian to try and settle the score.

Around 6:45 AM this morning, the former NBA baller popped up outside SoulCycle in Beverly Hills as the 31-year-old reality star made her way inside for an early morning workout. As he raged towards her, witnesses on the scene tells TMZ he began yelling and screaming at her, demanding she talk to him. And oddly enough, it was captured in a picture. You can check it out here.

As he got close to his estranged wife, he went to grab her arm and Khloe was heard screaming, "Get off of me, get off of me. Stop. Stop." At this point, things looked as if they were about to get UGLY, so an eyewitness asked Khloe if she need them to call the police. Then Lamar allegedly said, "You're not going to call the cops on Lamar Odom." OH?

The Kardashian chick kept asking Lamar how he even knew she would be there in which he never really answered. Hmmm…

Hmm…you think he wants her back? Especially since she’s been parading around with her new rumored NBA baller boo…James Harden. They did just sign off on their divorce, which took a year and some change to do. Maybe he wants to work it out? Or is THIS Khloe’s new storyline for her reality show?

Over the weekend, we revealed to you that former "RHOA" star Sheree Whitfield got her peach back.  We peeped her at Cynthia Bailey's Eyewear Launch party alongside Kenya Moore, Marlo Hampton, Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss and a few others.  Now, we've got a little insight about Sheree's return.

According to Radar Online, Bravo execs initially offered Sheree $125,000 to return and she thumbed her nose at the offer.  Then, Nene Leakes announced she was leaving the show and it put producers in an interesting predicament.  How do we keep it exciting?

Well.....now that Nene's gone, Sheree's salary has been boosted to $250K (allegedly).  While $250K is a nice chunk of change, Sheree was allegedly pulling in $350K at the height of the four seasons she was with the franchise. But...we hear that her contract is for one year and she can negotiate a raise at the end.

We hope her salary allows her to finish building Chateau Sheree.

On the catfight with Cookie: “It’s something the audience had been waiting to see from the very first episode and to finally give that to them was great. We had a blast shooting the scene and I was psyched to even do some of the stunts, like reacting to Cookie’s punch and flipping onto the pool table!”

On working with Terrence & Taraji:“It’s always wonderful to be around seasoned artists and glean what you can in each moment. I was reminded to take risks. Since this was a new medium for me, I was still negotiating the presence of the camera as I simultaneously created my character’s arc.”

On Season 2:“Expect lots of jaw-dropping moments, revelations, shifting dynamics, and more. You can’t prepare yourself for what you will be privy to.”

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube cover the latest issue of ROLLING STONE where they open up about their hit biopic Straight Outta Compton, and Dre owns up to claims that he's abused women in the past.  

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, on stands Friday, senior writer Brian Hiatt chats it with with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, as well as the other surviving members of N.W.A, M.C. Ren and DJ Yella.

The in-depth profile goes deep into the wild story of the world's most dangerous hip-hop group (much like the F. Gary Gray-directed biopic Straight Outta Compton) while seeking to address one of the most-controversial aspects of Dr. Dre's personal life: claims of domestic abuse.

The film (which we saw the advanced screening of on Monday and it is EVERYTHING) completely avoids any storylines involving domestic abuse (his ex Michel'le has also been vocal about his abusive ways towards her) that were previously reported, and many folks take isse with that.  Dre does open up a bit about it in Rolling Stone.

While he does not OUTRIGHT admit to hitting women, his statement about making "mistakes" in his past is pretty clear. It happened.....and he says it will never happen again. Peep the interview highlights:

DR DRE on allegations he attacked Dee Barnes & Michel'le:"I made some fucking horrible mistakes in my life," says Dre. "I was young, fucking stupid. I would say all the allegations aren't true – some of them are. Those are some of the things that I would like to take back. It was really fucked up. But I paid for those mistakes, and there's no way in hell that I will ever make another mistake like that again."

DR. DRE on his public persona:"I have social anxiety.  I don't like being in the spotlight, so I made a fucking weird career choice." He laughs. "That's the reason for my mystique and why I'm so secluded and why everybody knows nothing about me. I think it added to the character in the movie because people get a chance to see behind the curtain."

ICE CUBE on making Straight Outta Compton:"You had to see why we did the music. You know, not just 'we were young, angry niggas out of South Central,' but why did we make those kind of records? We were living in the middle of dope dealing, gangbanging, police brutality, fucking Reaganomics, and there was nowhere to escape."

ICE CUBE on NWA's lyrical treatment of women:"If you're a bitch, you're probably not going to like us," he says. "If you're a ho, you probably don't like us. If you're not a ho or a bitch, don't be jumping to the defense of these despicable females. Just like I shouldn't be jumping to the defense of no punks or no cowards or no slimy son of a bitches that's men. I never understood why an upstanding lady would even think we're talking about her."

Lamar Odom is telling his side of what went down when he “allegedly” stalked and verbally attacked Khloe Kardashian. And in so many words, he said it’s NOT true and if lies about him keep circulating, he’s airing everything out! Peep the videos inside….

Lamar Odom is pissed y’all!

The former NBA star vented to TMZ about what actually happened yesterday morning when he allegedly ambushed his soon-to-be ex-wife Khloe Kardashian. According to reports, it was alleged he stalked the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star as she walked inside SoulCycle in Beverly Hills for an early morning workout.

The 35-year-old basketball player went on camera to deny that he harassed, grabbed or followed the 31-year-old reality star. He claims he and Khloe arranged the meeting because how else would he know that she was going to be at SoulCycle at that particular time.

Furthermore, he says if lies about him keep circulating in the media, he’s going to air EVERYTHING out. *sips tea*

He started off saying,

“I am not the person that they’re trying to make me out to be. Whoever’s doing it. I live in Las Vegas. So was there an address or a place given? Or I just guessed right? Did I just guess right where this girl may be? I’m asking you. I know Khloe, so how would you think I ended up there?”

We agree. How did he know she would be there at that time? He went on to say,

“It’s hard for me to keep my composure. To everyone who knows and supports me I'm sorry but the dog has to fight back. [Y’all say] I’m a womanizer, a f*ckin’ drug addict. It’s over. If it happens again I will air EVERYTHING out!”

Oh? Well…we’ll certainly be all ears if he decides he wants to spill some tea. In an effort to clear his name, Lamar says he’s hurt that the situation was turned into something it wasn’t and that it’s not true.

“Nobody got followed, nobody got hassled, nobody got harassed, nobody got grabbed on, none of that. None of that happened. Probably what’s the most hurtful part is that I beat it to the punch. I didn’t want to come up here. Somebody should be calling up here saying ‘Hell no that didn’t happen.’ That’s ridiculous, it’s crazy. I don’t know what type of move it is. I don’t know, it’s just NOT the truth.”

K. Michelle is NOT here for Uber drivers disobeying her requests. In a new clip for the premiere episode of BET’s “Punk’d,” we see K hilariously poppin’ off on an Uber driver after he decides he needs a break in the middle of transporting her to her next destination. Get your laugh on inside…

BET has a few tricks up its sleeve as they promote the upcoming series of “Punk’d.”

First, the network fooled everyone with the announcement that BET’s “Uncut” series would be returning. On the night the show was set to re-air, BET pulled a fast one and announced “Uncut” would NOT be returning. It was their official way of “punking” everyone to announce the new series “Punk’d,” set to air on the network.

In the first sneak peek of the premiere episode, R&B songstress and reality star K. Michelle receives an Uber ride from hell after her driver keeps stopping to take breaks as he transports the R&B diva to her destination. To his surprise, K went all “Memphis” on him, yelling expletives and even trying to hop in the front seat to go off on him. Ha!

This season will also kick off with a “punk’d” scenario involving Chris Brown and lost child who wonders on the set of a new music video he's shooting with French Montana. “Punk’d” will premiere next Tuesday, August 18th at 10:30 PM ET on BET.

From break ups to make ups….Lil Kim and her daughter’s father Mr. Papers are back together after a messy public breakup, and they want everyone to know it. Read their open letters to each other and check out Robin Thicke’s new video “Back Together” featuring Nicki Minaj inside….

Lil Kim and her daughter’s father Mr. Papers have kissed and made up. And their relationship status went from bad to worse after they seemingly called it quits last year.

You’ll recall, Mr. Papers hit below the belt posting up a picture of Kim’s well-known enemy Nicki Minaj on Instagram admiring the scantily clad photo. Ish was ready to hit the fan when the twosome ended up in court to duke it out in a nasty custody battle over their daughter Royal Reign. Mr. Papers was livid, making claims that Kimmy was keeping their daughter away from him.

But now, those things are of the past and they have let bygones be bygones in an effort to save their family.

Yesterday, Mr. Papers wrote a long heartfelt apology to his queen, gushing over the Brooklyn raptress and owning up to the mistakes he made during their relationship. He posted up a picture of himself holding their baby girl (when she was an infant) with the caption:

I want to apologize to the girl that I Love and the only girl I will ever Love @lilkimthequeenbee my baby's mother/ best friend . She is an amazingly beautiful girl inside & out and the realest girl I kno ... My heart is with her . I made a lot of mistakes growing up and I even made mistakes after I grew up but one of my biggest mistakes was losing my wife and all that time with my family ... When I posted a pic of her enemy I was in my feelings and upset because she was posting pics with other niggaz and I acted off my emotions , but the truth is , there is no female out here , rapper chick /celeb chick or regular female that is Badder or flyer than Kim "nobody "!!! And as u guys can see I'm the type of person that just says exactly what I feel No Chill
I'm just happy I get to be back in my daughters life . She's my little twin and I won't ever be away from her no matter what !

The bootylicious raptress is featured in Robin Thicke’s new video for his single “Back Together.” No, this track isn’t about his ex-wife Paula Patton (thankfully). If you haven't heard, Robin is currently dating model April Love Geary.

While chopping it up recently with “GMA” co-host Robin Roberts about the new single, the Grammy nominated singer explained,

“I didn’t write this song, so I can’t take credit for the meaning. It’s more about the theme of getting yourself back together with love and partnership.”

The party track, produced byMax Martin and Savan Kotecha, features the 38-year-old singer throwing a pool party in a Miami mansion with a bevy of chicks strutting around in bikinis. The “Anaconda” raptress reunites with the R&B crooner (remember their "Shakin’ It For Daddy" track?) with her usual sexualized moves and racy lyrics. Check it above.

R&B singer Bobby Brown made his first public appearance since the tragic death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.  See the candids inside...

Yesterday, singer Bobby Brown was spotted outside of the Ha Ha Cafe comedy club in North Hollywood, California.  Thankfully, he seemed to be in good spirits as he posed for pictures with fans.

According to PEOPLE,"He was in a good mood," said one source. "He was jovial," a second onlooker added. "He was fairly open with his feelings with fans, stating that he was heartbroken."

This is the first time we've seen Bobby out since he laid his daughter Bobbi Kristina to rest (see the funeral post here).  In the days following the funeral, there have been reports that an undisclosed party has been shopping a photo of Bobbi Kris in her casket, dubbing it "the last picture." 

The alleged price tag is $100K but there hasn't been a buyer...yet.  However, the National Enquirer did publish a photo of Bobbi Kris lying in hospice.

Despite the tragedy, Bobby has had "good news" in his life this summer.  In July, the couple welcomed gave birth to a baby girl and earlier this week, BET revealed plans to produced a three-part miniseries about his iconic band New Edition.  Alas....there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Besties Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King are vacationing in Ibiza and we've got pics from their festivities inside...

A few days ago we watched Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King take flight, air bound for a fab vacation in Ibiza.  Now, we've got an update on all of the fun they've been having.

One night, Oprah and Gayle watched a private screening of the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton with music mogul Jimmy Iovine. Of course Jimmy Iovine REALLY knows the tea on Dr. Dre and NWA, so we can only imagine the "behind-the-scenes" stories he shared.

The twosome also went kayaking, which Gayle says is a great workout.  "Kayaking very good for your core and arms crashing into another kayaker seconds after this pix not good ! Still working on how to stop maneuver."

At night, O & G hit the club scene with Will.I.Am.  Gayle joked, "Par-Tay in Ibiza with @iamwill I see his glasses and all 109 of my teeth..."

O & G also joined Jimmy to do tequila shots with Will.I.Am,  Bob Iger (the CEO of Walt Disney) and his wife Willow.  Yasss!  Check out Lady O taking it to the head!  

Gayle wrote, "They say it's better in Ibiza! Disney big cheese @bobiger his lovely wife @willow_bay @iamwill take in teeny pink hats, umm limber dancers & @oprah leads @jimmyiovine in tequila shots! Good times good friends."

David Oyelowo and Rihanna have booked some exciting new gigs. The Hollywood actor is set to become the first black James Bond. The kicker? It’s for an audiobook. Meanwhile, the Pop princess will be gracing the small screen with her presence this fall on “The Voice.” Get the deets inside…

Nope, it’s not Idris Elba!

Emmy nominated actor David Oyelowo is gearing up to portray secret service agent James Bond, making him the first black actor to bring the character to life. But, there’s a bit of a catch.

We won’t see David racing across the screen in action packed scenes on the silver screen because he will be voicing Agent 007 in a new audiobook titled "Trigger Mortis," set to debut September 8th, according to The Guardian.

Rumors have been circulating for months that Idris Elba would be starring as the next (and first black) James Bond on the big screen. But, David beat him to the punch…well sort of.

“[I’m] very honored”, Oyelowo said: “I am officially the only person on planet Earth who can legitimately say: ‘I am the new James Bond’ – even saying that name is the cinematic equivalent of doing the ‘to be or not to be’ speech.”

And if there’s any doubt if David is the man for the role, get this. The Ian Fleming estate personally sought out the SELMA actor to do Bond’s voice for the audio book. Bye haters!

Since David will be portraying a character who is originally white, you KNOW race will be a hot topic of discussion. But, David is prepared. He previously played Henry VI for the Royal Shakespeare Company that made him the first black actor to play an English king. Unfortunately, there was plenty of blacklash. He tells the publication,

“I had to have my agent filter mail ... it was hate mail. It was: ‘How dare you enter a realm that is not yours to enter?’ One slipped through the net … it’s upsetting ... I had letters coming through to the stage door.” He added: “This was over 10 years ago -so you’d hope that wouldn’t be the case now.”

Let’s keep our fingers crossed. Congrats David!

In tv news....

As long as NBC has her money, we will be graced with Rihanna’s presence on the small screen this fall. Nice!

According to The Wrap, the Pop princess will be joining “The Voice” as a “key advisor” to all of the judges this upcoming season, serving up gems of knowledge she’s learned in the entertainment biz. NBC’s viewership will go up for sure.

All of the original judges are set to return, including Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stafani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Carson Daly as the show’s host.

The upcoming season of "The Voice" returns Mondays and Tuesdays starting September 21st at 8/7c on NBC

Whose cake is this? It's Malaysia Pargo, the ex-wife NBA player Janero Pargo and current star of "BBW LA."

The reality tv starlet celebrated her birthday this week with a trip to Jamaica where she slept at the Moon Palace Jamaica Grande.  

Malaysia wasn't along.  She partied with two of her besties, PR specialist Catrice Armstrong and...... 

her ride-or-die friend from the show, Brandi Maxiell.

Last Night ASAP Rocky and Russell Simmons attended All Def Comedy Live presented by Celsius and All Def Digital .

The show was hosted by funnyman Tony Rock and we spotted a few familiar faces backstage and in VIP. Designer Rachel Roy (who moved to LA a few months ago) was in the mix with daughter Ava, who is GORGEOUS.

We also saw Bad Medina, famed for being one of Floyd Mayweather's chicks.

Funnyman Kevin Hart reunites with Ice Cube in the new trailer for his film Ride Along 2.  Watch it inside and see more candids from his vacation in Mexico with his fiancee.

Kevin Hart, who's currently touring the globe on his “What Now” tour, is still living it up on a much needed vacation this week in Mexico with his fiancée Eniko Parrish.

The adorable duo are living the good living on a yacht where they've both been showing off an array of sexy swimsuits and of course...their fab bods.

Taking a walk on the wild side, the Wedding Ringer star decided to jump off the roof of their villa into their pool for an extreme adreneline rush. Afterwards, he performed a hilarious victory dance. Check it:

In movie news...

We can already confirm that his next flick will be a big hit. He just dropped the trailer for Ride Along 2 and it's LAUGH OUT LOUD funny. In the teaser, he re-teams with Ice Cube to shut down a drug lord in Miami, meanwhile Sherri Shepherd is back in Atlanta helping Tika Sumpter plan their wedding. 

By the way, Kev hits the stage at the Abraham Chavez Theatre in El Paso, Texas tonight, but in the meantime, check out the hilarious Ride Along 2 teaser....

Great news for fans of the 90s tv classic, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," it's coming back!  Read about it inside...

Actor Will Smith (shown above at the 'Suicide Squad' presentation during 2015 Comic-Con International) is planning to make a big splash with the tv show that turned him a household name.

According to TVLine, Will and his Overbrook Entertainment company are developing a present-day family comedy that puts a new spin on the "fish-out-of-water" concept that eventually became "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."  Will is on board to serve as executive producer of the project which is still in its earliest stages of development.

While an official "plot" for the future series has not been revealed to the press, we do know a pitch is being finalized and will be shopped around in the coming weeks.

Once a concept is finalized, we sure hope Will and Jada (she's also producing) will hire former castmembers of "FPOB" to appear in some form or fashion. And this might be a long shot...but it's time Will and Janet Hubertkiss and make up.

Wouldn't it be great to see the "first" Aunt Viv back on television?

Get ready for a roller coaster ride through Compton with N.W.A. as they journey from “boys in the hood” to mega stars who dominated the airwaves during the Golden Era of Hip Hop with their gritty lyrics and “gangsta” personas. STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON tells the tale of how a few friends became rap icons by sharing their experiences of what life was life in their city growing up in poverty.

Earlier this week, during the Straight Outta Compton L.A. screening at the Microsoft Theater, YBF correspondent Lauren Smith caught up with one of the film’s lead (and cutest) stars O’Shea Jackson Jr. (rocking Zenya and Jason of Beverly Hills) to chop it up with the budding actor about what it was like to portray not only a Hip Hop icon, but the person he calls dad: Ice Cube.  He also dishes on what it was like to land such a major role for his very first acting gig and how he prepared for it.

Below are the highlights:

YBF: Your first major film you're playing an icon which happens to be your father. Tell us about your experience.
OJ: You know, I'm the young guy in the group. I'm still trying to figure everything out and I'm hanging out with the older crowd so that's a parallel with me. I'm the youngest one out of the five of us but I'm new to the acting thing and I'm getting my feet wet as well, so that definitely helped me feel more attached to the role beyond him being my father.

YBF: Was it difficult being chosen for this role?
OJ: He (Ice Cube) brought it to me before there was a script because he knew I had to get a lot of experience in a short amount of time, so it was two years of auditioning. And my acting coaches, they really brought in different techniques to make one great project I feel.
 

So what does Ice Cube want viewers to take from the film?  "Have a good time and see where it all started," he told us. "Understand that we can make movies about our history at a top notch level."

And that they did.

“Basketball Wives: L.A.” star and L.A. native Shaunie O’Neal was on the scene to check out the film and to support her man Marlon Yates who stars as The D.O.C

Growing up in a neighboring city and a huge fan of N.W.A., Shaunie says the film caused feelings of nostalgia and all she wanted to do after seeing the film is go home and rock out to some classic N.W.A. tracks.

Switching gears, the “BBW” honcho dished on this season of the show a few deets on a few upcoming projects. Check the highlights below:

YBF: What did you think about the movie?
SO: It’s so good. I'm from LA and it brought back so many memories. I went to see it with one of my friends and both of us were nudging each other like ‘oooh that was by my neighborhood’ and we just wanted to get up and dance the whole time but it is so so good. I've always been a N.W.A. fan. I grew up in LA and all west coast music you're a fan of. You heard so many songs that you don't hear anymore and it made me want to go home and start pumping N.W.A. again.

YBF: Who was your favorite actor in the movie?
SO: Ice Cube's son. He did his dad perfectly. He is the little clone of Ice Cube. He was him all over again. Eazy E did a great job like I wanted to do the slow to fast clap at the end. They did an awesome job. Everybody across the board did a really good job.

YBF: How does the social injustices in the movie resonate today?
SO: It’s a lot of similarities. Watching it, even just growing up, police always used to bother the guys back in the day. Gang banging was really big then, at the same time, that was their excuse I guess to really just harass people and knowing what's going on right now and watching the movie… aint s*** change. It's still the same thing. But I think it's an eye opener because you see (men like) Ice cube; they were like our spokesmen for that time and although a lot of people didn't agree about the police and stuff like that it's somethings gotta give. Somebody's got to say something and that was their way of reaching the people and it definitely did. Some of the things I saw in the movie I didn't even know that happened. Certain things, from them performing, I didn't even know took place, so I learned a lot actually. It's a really good story.

YBF: So, what's the latest on this season of “BBW: L.A.”
SO: We’re getting great numbers. We're doing really well. The reviews are always different. Everybody has their favorite and who they’re down with, ride or die, which is fine. So every week it just depends on what's going on. If they like you, if they don't like you, it's whatever.

West coast rapper Kendrick Lamar got the chance of a lifetime. He was chosen to interview legendary rap group and his idols Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella of N.W.A for Billboard magazine.

During their sitdown, the guys dished on how their music totally changed the rap game, the group's powerful influence on pop culture, their thoughts on today's artists and how they juggle their careers and personal lives. Check out the full interview here.

That’s exactly what Khloe Kardashian did. After her run-in with her ex-husband Lamar Odom Wednesday morning, the 31-year-old reality star hopped on a private jet to Houston. And what do you know, she landed right in the arms of her rumored NBA baller beau James Harden.

The twosome was in the mood for some Mexican cuisine, so they hit up fast food chain Chipotle in Houston yesterday. While inside, a few fans were able to snap a few pics them as they ordered their food:

And a few days ago...

Khloe's bestie Malika Haqq posted a pic of Khloe kissing on James after celebrating with her sister Kylie for her 18th birthday.

These two can’t seem to get enough of one another. Last week, Khloe was on the sidelines cheering James on while he played in the "Drew League" game in L.A. Before that, the rumored couple was spotted hanging out together in Las Vegas and they’ve hit up a spin class together. Plus, they were spotted on a dinner date in Calabasas a few weeks ago.

Now…about that alleged "ambush"....

Sources on the scene told TMZ that Lamar popped up on her as she was walking inside SoulCycle for an early morning workout They're saying he was screaming and yelling at her and he grabbed her arm. It’s reported Khloe screamed as she tried to get away from him and was totally freaked out by the incident. But Lamar is singing a different tune.

Lamar caught up with TMZ photogs yesterday totell his side and he said he did NOT harass, grab or scream at her. He also said they planned to meet up at that time and he was not stalking her. The former NBA star said he’s fed up with the lies and if they continue, he plans on airing out EVERYTHING. We’ll be sure to have a coffee mug ready if/when he does.

Meow! Taraji P. Henson is paying homage to her leopard print loving “Empire” character Cookie Lyon in Harpers Bazaar’s September 2015 issue - with a '60s inspired twist. Come inside to see her slay-worthy editorial.

One thing is for sure…Taraji P. Henson sure knows how to slay a magazine spread. The “Empire” breakout star has landed on pages in Harpers Bazaar’s September 2015 issue with a hot new spread inspired by fashion icon Jacqueline de Ribes in the '60s. But, she’s also paying homage to her leopard print loving character "Cookie Lyon." Y’all know Cookie loves her animal prints.

Shot by fashion photographer Michael Avedon, Taraji works her magic in an array of animal print ensembles, while rocking Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana and Banana Republic.

Although she’s considered a fashionista these days (and rightfully so), she said it took her awhile to hop on the “chic bus.” She explained, "It took me a minute to get on the chic bus," she says. "I was coming from the era of Lil' Kim and Mary J. Blige, you know, ghetto fabulous. I came from nothing, was deprived all my life, so when you get money, you go big!"

Nowadays, she said her closet is filled with black, thanks to tidbits she received from her publicist, "You should see my closet now—black, black, black." And unlike Cookie, she no longer wears leopard in her everyday life. “I don't wear leopard anymore, not since I got Cookie." We assume she gave Cookie all of her animal print pieces as a few of her personal pieces have become a part of Cookie’s elaborate style….but her favorite? “Alaïa black catsuit, hands down,” said Taraji.

Now, we know where Cookie gets her fashion inspiration, but what about that slick mouth, no holds barred attitude? The EMMY nominated actress (she's up for Lead Actress in a Drama Series) said she based on her father.

“He had no buffer. He spoke the truth." She continues, heating up. "It's heroic because in this society we have been trained to be politically correct. Political correctness is bullshit. If I ask you a question right now, the first thing that comes in your mind is the truth. But we've all been trained to breathe, digest the question, and manipulate the answer. Cookie doesn't do that."

And that’s one of the reasons why we love her. Straight talk, NO chaser!

The 44-year-old star is currently single, but she definitely has a type. She described him as:

"He is funny, has personality, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He needs to be confident in who he is, confident to let me be who I am. And let me shine, you know? My light is only going to enhance his light."

 

She then talked how her 21-year-old son Marcell is handling her newfound stardom and how he’s very cautious about meeting new people:

“My dad said to him, 'People are going to try to be your friend because of what your mother does.' That stuck. Even guys who try to be a mentor to him—because, you know, his father was murdered when Marcell was nine—so I was very particular about not dating." She pauses. "I don't want to just bring a man around. Marcell knows how to gauge, Are you here for me, or do you like my mother?"

Smart young man.

Two of our favorite YBF ladies, Halle Berry and Janelle Monae, were on the scene last night promoting their latest projects.  Come inside and get the deets on Halle's latest role and Janelle's new Wondaland EP.

Halle Berry (who celebrates her 49th birthday today) attended the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual Grants Banquet at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel last night. She turned heads as she walked through the lobby in a lace accented Noam Hanoch teal dress.

Halle was one of the evening's presenter (alongside Lady Gaga and Jake Gyllenhaal) as they helped pass out more than $2 million in grants to nonprofit arts organizations.

In between speeches, we spotted Halle posing with famed actor Benicio Del Toro.

In addition to starring on "Extant" (airing on CBS), Halle recently wrapped filming the thriller "Kidnap," which has been earmarked with a 2016 release date.

By the way, you'll notice that Halle is not wearing her wedding ring.  But never fear.....it's being reported by TMZ that things are well between she and Olivier Martinez.  She "reportedly" lost the wedding band in Mexico at the Acapulco International Film Festival in January 2014 and "replacing" it hasn't been high on her priority list.  BUT.... she still regularly wears her gold wedding band.

In New York City....

Janelle Monae and The EEPHUS Tour played New York City before a standing room only audience of fans, VIPS, and tastemakers.

The EEPHUS Tour, a serious of eight secret shows, is comprised of Janelle and the artists on her Wondaland Records label, including Jidenna, Roman GianArthur, Deep Cotton and St. Beauty.

Following the NY stop, the collective is headed to Washington, D.C. (Aug 15 ) Chicago, IL (Aug 17) Los Angeles, CA (Aug 21) San Francisco, CA (Aug 23) Portland, OR (Aug 24) Atlanta, GA (Aug 31)

The performace also doubled as an album release party as their first official Wondaland Records compilation EP, Wondaland Presents THE EEPHUS, became available today.

Janelle and the Wondaland crew appeared on TODAY this morning to talk about their new EP and tour.  In between performances, Janelle comments on her eclectic style saying, "I love evolving...I'm not just one thing and I will never be one thing to any one person. It's all about being complete and whole. Partying and pondering."

Janelle Monae and Wondaland just released a new song protesting police brutality.

It's called “Hell You Talmbout” and it's a revamped version of a track from her 2013 album The Electic Lady. The update features the Wondaland collective (Deep Cotton, St. Beauty, Jidenna, Roman GianArthur, George 2.0) who call out the names of African American men and women who have been victims of violence. Among those mentioned in the song are Walter Scott, Freddie Gray, Sandra Bland, Kimani Gray, Michael Brown, and Miriam Carey.

Jennifer Hudson just copped a new ‘do. Decide if we love it inside…

Who needs hair when you can serve face?  Jennifer Hudson decided she wanted something new so she chopped and chopped and chopped and viola! She's now rocking a super short cut to show off her gorgeous facial features.
 

The Oscar winner was already rocking a pixie cut, but chick took it a step further going almost completely bald with her new look.

After celebrating her son David Jr.’s 6th birthday, she jetted to Munich, Germany for a performance yesterday. And she kept us up-to-date with her happenings backstage before she rocked the house. Peep a clip before performing below:

Now, she’s headed back to the States, just in time for “Hatch Day.” She captioned, “Now I gotta get home for hatch day! Happy hatch day everybody! Is it here yet !"

Last year, JHud and her sister Julia hosted thousands of students for their annual Hatch Day celebration to honor JHud’s late nephew Julian King on his birthday. On behalf of the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, JHud and co. gave away tons of school supplies for underprivileged kids in Chicago.
