Today, Fox officially unveiled its fall premiere dates, although we already knew about the "Empire" tea (thanks Taraji!).  What we didn't know was that KeKe Palmer and her crew of college vixens will be getting a 2-hour debut on Sept. 22.  Cool....we're ready to scream and it's high on our "Must Watch" list.

Also....Meagan Good's"Minority Report" is anchoring Mondays, "Grandfathered" (with Christina Milian) joins the Tuesday lineup, Morris Chestnut takes up residence in "Rosewood" on Wednesday, Taraji P. Henson& Terrence Howard return to "Empire" on Wednesday too, Terry Crews stars in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" on Sundays and Nicole Beharie stars in "Sleepy Hollow" on Thursdays.

In TV drama.... 

The internet is all abuzz and a-Twitter about the mini-confrontation between VH1 Reality Divas K. Michelle and Draya Michele.  The two ladies appeared on #TheBETPostShow (umm....we're not exactly sure what the purpose of the show is either, #noshade) where K. Michelle took a moment to address the tension in the air. 

As you'll see on the clip below, the women were separated by a "Berlin" wall of hostility.  Why?  A few years ago (yes....YEARS) Draya allegedly tweeted that K. Michelle was "ugly."  Well.....K didn't miss the opportunity to give the cold shoulder throughout the show, then bring it up and address it.  As you'd expect, Draya went all "Bambi in headlights" and doesn't remember tweeting anything.

While we applaud K for handling herself professionally, she could have had this whole conversation OFF camera (like a grown woman) and we've seen her LITERALLY rip folks to shed with far worse words than "ugly."  But she still handled her business nicely though....

In other news, Draya is starring alongside Keshia Knight Pulliam and Marques Houston in "Will To Love" on TV ONE June 27th at 8/7C

Straight outta Compton...The Game is back with another one.  If you follow The Game (and us) on the 'Gram, you already know he's working on his next classic.  We know it's going to be a classic because he said so.  And you should never disagree with The Game.  He said, "8:30am & I'm still in here gettin this CLASSIC album right for yall. #TheDocumentary2".

The latest track is called "100" and it's a collaboration with Drake. The soulful jam was produced by Cardo, and showcases Game's ability to rep for his city, pay homage to OVO and Blood Money and share pearls of wisdom from Dr. Dre (“Dre told me not to trust these ni**as”).

Newly engaged NBA player Nick Young was spotted dropping his son Nick Jr. off to his mother Keonna Green outside of Iggy Azalea’s home. Peep the baller in daddy-mode inside….

L.A. Lakers baller Nick Young was spotted in full daddy-mode today. The newly engaged athlete must have worn his son out as he was was seen carrying Nick Jr, who was fast asleep, to his mother Keonna Green (below) outside of his fiancée Iggy Azalea’s home.
 

Nick had to put his multi-tasking skills to work as he held on to the tot and placed his car seat in the back on Keonna's BMW.

Last month, the doting dad popped the question to his 24-year-old rapper girlfriend at his 30th birthday party with a massive $500k diamond ring.

The twosome will go head-to-head to win the championship belt on Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle” set to premiere August 13th. Nick and Iggy’s episode airs a week before “Empire” stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson battle it out on the season finale (August 20th).

As her condition worsens, Bobbi Kristina was transported to Peachtree Christian Hospice yesterday. Today, pictures of her father Bobby Brown, outside of the facility have surfaced. More inside….

Yesterday, we learned Bobbi Kristina’s family decided to place her in Peachtree Christian Hospice care in Duluth, G.A. after reports of her condition not improving. The 22-year-old was found face down in her bathtub inside of her home January 31st. She has been in a medically induced coma ever since.

Today, her father Bobby Brown was spotted outside of the facility, understandably distraught, as he hugged a woman in the parking lot after being at his daughter’s bedside.
 

While BK's condition still remains up in the air, there have been new developments that have surfaced about what possibly lead up to the dreadful day.

Reportedly, BK’s estate conservator Bedelia Hargrove has filed a multi-million lawsuit against Bobbi Kris’ boyfriend Nick Gordon (whom BK often referred to as her husband although they never legally wed).

The suit alleges Nick stole some serious cash from BK (including after she was placed in the coma) and was also allegedly responsible for physically abusing her! In the complaint, he’s being accused of punching her in the face, dragged her up the stairs by her hair and supposedly knocked out her front teeth.

So, it looks like Nick will have his day in court in the future. Guess it goes without saying, Nick is still reportedly not allowed to visit Bobbi Kris.

Last week, the New Edition singer issued a statement where he addresses all of the circulating rumors and the “criminal investigation.” He said,

"Unless you hear it directly from me or through my attorney, do not believe any words attributed to me. I am making decisions with Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter. I do not have time for the frequent side shows that others choose to engage in almost on a daily basis. Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina's medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter's injuries needs to be brought to justice."

So sad. Our prayers are with the Brown-Houston family.

While Kim and her family partied it up in Cannes for the Cannes Lion festival a few days ago, Kanye was elsewhere working and partying.  After hitting the Louis Vuitton Men's Fashion Week show in Paris earlier today, he skipped over to London to meet up with his wife.

The twosome were spotted bumping their way out of Hakkassan after dinner:

While rumors are rampant that Kim had embryos implanted in order to have a boy....she claims that's just tabloid fodder.  Hmph.  Just like it was tabloid fodder who called the sex of the baby before she "revealed" it....

But we've got to admit, his answers scream "I'm trolling y'all and I don't care."  Jaden (and his sister Willow) have always arched to the beat of his own drum.  So maybe hes just being himself.

Why did you wear a white Batman suit to Kim and Kanye's wedding and prom? Tell us the story behind it.
I wore the Batman suit to heighten my experience at the wedding and prom which was fun, but also at the wedding I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so.

When you're getting dressed in the morning, where do you start? Shoes? Shirt? Explain how you build your look.
First I roll over on the bed I built for myself and look at the ground. If there are clothes I wore from the previous day and they're not too dirty, that's what I put on.

What's a style lesson you learned from your dad? Do you have a favorite Fresh Prince look?

My dad went on national television with a crop top on showing his belly button and to this day he regrets it, so I show him pictures of it and he thinks its literally hilarious. That's my favorite Fresh Prince outfit by far.

In the film, which hits theaters on July 1st, Jada plays "Rome", a sexually-charged character who enjoys promoting her harem of male strippers.

While discussing the role, Jada told Hauteliving.com,

“What I tried to do with Rome is communicate strength differently—from a place that is a lot more feminine—a bit more soft and open. The part of Rome was originally written for a man...But after getting on Skype with Channing and director Greg Jacobs, I knew their intentions were pure. One of the biggest selling points for accepting this role was Channing saying—and I’m not quoting—that there is a way to make the adult entertainment industry responsible. First of all, Channing has a huge influence in this industry—the idea that he has the guts to tackle this subject was a real selling point for me."

Actress Lauren London's rapper boyfriend Nipsey Hussle reportedly just got popped by the Burbank PD on a drug charge.  All the details inside...

"U See Us" rapper Nipsey Hussle -- who you likely know from being "The Game" star Lauren London's boyfriend -- was reportedly arrested in Burbank on Wednesday.  The 29-year-old rapper, whose government name is Ermias Asghedom, was caught with a stash of codeine (a drug sometimes used to create a mixed drug-filled drink) after being pulled over for a routine traffic stop.  He couldn't produce a prescription for it.

The Burbank Leaderstates:

At 11:20 p.m., officers stopped the rapper, born Ermias Asghedom, for traffic violations and discovered an outstanding warrant for his arrest for driving with a suspended license, said Burbank Police Lt. Adam Cornils.

During a consent search of his car, officers reportedly found a bottle of codeine without a prescription label. Asghedom was reportedly unable to produce a prescription. Next to the bottle, officers found a cup of ice and a bottled soft drink, Cornils said.

The L.A. Timesstates this wasn't his first arrest.

Asghedom was arrested in Hyde Park in August last year on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer, just days before he was scheduled to perform in the Made in America festival, authorities said.

Nipsey was booked for allegedly possessing a controlled substance and that pesky outstanding warrant.

Meanwhile, Nipsey tweeted today that he's definitely not in jail.  But he didn't say anything about the arrest:

YBF celebs flocked to this year’s ASCAP Awards held in Beverly Hills last night. Timbaland and Lauryn Hill were presented with awards (Lauryn also performed), while Sevyn Streeter, Jazmine Sullivan and more hit the carpet. Also, Raven Symone worked a cape and multiple fabrics at Logo TV’s “Trailblazers” event. Pics inside…

Last night, music icons Timbaland and Lauryn Hill (along with a few others) were honored at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers’ (ASCAP) 28th Annual Rhythm and Soul Music Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

ASCAP honored the people behind-the-scenes (songwriters and publishers) who created the most performed ASCAP songs on the 2014 R&B, hip-hop, rap and gospel charts. And a few of our faves made the list.

The superproducer tied with Jay Z (who was not in attendance) for the ASCAP Song Writer of The Year Award. They were also recognized, along with Beyonce (who was also not attendance) as having the Top Hip Hop/R&B Song for their hit track “Drunk in Love.” Nice!

Also nabbing an award...

Ms. Lauryn Hill was awarded the prestigious ASCAP Golden Note Award for her extraordinary work as a rapper, singer and songwriter. There’s no denying the Grammy Award winning artist is a musical genius and her songs with the Fugees, along with her iconic solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, are classics.

She became the first woman/hip-hop artist to win five Grammy Awards for “Album of the Year,” “Best New Artist,” “Best Female R&B Performance,” “Best R&B Song” ("Doo Wop (That Thing)") and “Best R&B Album.” In total, Ms. Hill is the proud recipient of eight Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards and two Billboard Awards. She also spends much of her time giving back to underprivileged urban youth through her philanthropic effort “The Refugee Project.”  And yes, we notice the work she's been putting in since she hit a few financial obstacles. YBF chick indeed.

Reality Show singer Jazmine Sullivan was tapped to perform a medley of her hits during the event. Before hitting the stage, she hit the carpet in a floral frock.

“Say Yes” songstress Michelle Williams was also in attendance keeping it fab in a black leather jumpsuit.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and singer Demetria McKinney looked amazing in a fun summer look.

Gospel singers and sisters Mary Mary were all smiles on the carpet.

R&B songstress Melanie Fiona looked gorge in a royal blue jumpsuit.

At another event....

With the Supreme Court just legalizing same-sex marriage across the country, this event was surely one where folks did a little pre-celebrating.

“The View” co-host Raven Symone was all about a dramatic cape on the carpet at Logo TV’s second annual Trailblazer Honors ceremony held at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in NYC last night. The network celebrated 10 years in the game and the progress the LGBT rights movement has made in the last decade.

Well, we like the hair.

The daytime tv host posed it up in her floral cape, rocking a white dress underneath, before chatting it up with former “Fashion Police” co-host Kelly Osbourne:

Raven and Kelly were both on hand to present.

“Orange Is The New Black” Samira Wiley returned to this year’s awards ceremony after the “OITNB” cast won a Trailblazer Award last year. Taking the stage, the YBF actress paid homage to the Obama administration for its commitment to bettering the lives of LGBT Americans and introduced a special video message from the POTUS Barack Obama.

Rihanna made her club arrival looking slightly like she didn't have time to finish putting her clothes on.  But that's why we love her.

We spotted her stepping out of her ride in a bra, daisy duke shorts and a loose jacket as she strolled into "1OAK' night club in West Hollywood.  BTW....the bra really accentuated her Egyptian tattoo.  Cmon' Queen!

RiRI hit the club solo, but her lovelife is anything but boring.  While we suspect that she's hot and heavy with Soccer player Karim Benzema, she's got a BIG FAN on the NY Knicks too.

Newly drafted Knicks baller Kristaps Porzingis opened up about whom he'd like to take to dinner and he mentioned Rihanna.

Solange kicked off PRIDE Weekend in NYC by hosting a party at Kiehl's flagship store in this interesting look.

As always, we admire Solange's daring fashion choices.  Pairing slacks with a blazer AND a seemingly attachable skirt.....with white heels? And she pulled it off!

Once inside, she keep the party bumping with her Mac Book. We imagine she commands a nice coin as a DJ!

All partying and hosting aside, we're ready for the TRUE EP follow-up.  It's been too long!

Mariah Carey and her boo James Packer were spotted aboard his yacht around Cap d'Antibes, France.

As we told you yesterday, sources say James is really puttin' a move on Mimi and we could be looking at a future-married couple.  And since Mimi returns to Las Vegas soon (for the second leg of her residency) the twosome could easily have a quickie wedding.  And that's so Mariah...when she wants to make a point!

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have practically been inseparable since hooking up, appearing together at the #MAYPAC mega fight, partying it up in Las Vegas during Memorial Day Weekend and hitting the stage together at Birthday Bash 20 in Atlanta, to name a few. Soulful songstress Jhene Aiko -- whose Pandora Station our phones stay locked on at the beach -- is getting her fans summer ready with her new apparel collection. The Grammy-nominated artist teamed up with and NEFF Headgear CEO Shaun Neff for the company's first womenswear collaboration called “Soul of Summer.”  And she's serving up a few fabuous flicks for the company's newest editorial.

Curated by the “Post To Be” singer, "Soul of Summer" includes breezy dresses, patterned soft shorts and loungey tank tops (including her favorite Moon Phase shirt which is an exact replica of her back tattoo), focusing on elements of comfort and style.

The sultry singer dished on her new collection (via press release) saying,

“This collection is all about comfort and it's also very personal. There's even a tank with the moon phases and a Buddha image that are actual back tattoos of mine. It's so me.”

Nice!  The collection is now available in PacSun stores nationwide and online.

The “Souled Out” singer celebrated the launch of her summer staples collection earlier this month at Skyspace Los Angeles on the 71st floor of the U.S. Bank Tower in Downtown LA. Celeb friends Christina Milian, Lance Gross and more were in attendance to support.

In TV news....

TheYBF.com reports Ashanti has landed a guest-starring role in the upcoming season of “Unforgettable,” also starring LaLa Anthony. Season 4 is currently in production in NYC. And it will be premiering on A&E, following its CBS cancellation.

Shanti will star as a beautiful and talented singer at Marko’s underground jazz club named Stella. Below is a description of her role (via press release):

Not only is she one of the main attractions, she’s Marko’s girlfriend. Stella is a woman who has always been a magnet for dangerous men like Marko, her Sphinx-like personality has an intoxicating affect on them. When Al (played by series star Dylan Walsh) meets Stella, he’s surprised to discover that they share a similar passion for jazz. But will Stella help Al with the investigation? Or cling to her secrets in effort to avoid Marko’s wrath?

No word on the official premiere yet, but will you be tuning in to see Ashanti flex her acting chops?

Actress Kim Fields is allegedly the newest cast member of "Real Housewives of Atlanta."  Sources are reporting that the former "Facts of Life" star will be joining the ladies (sans Claudia Jordan) on Season 8.

Love B. Scott has gone as far as confirming the news, but Bravo is remaining mum as usual.

We all loved Kim as the on-screen cutie named 'Tootie Ramsey' back in the day.  And she was our sister in our head as 'Regine Hunter' on "Living Single."

Now, the 46-year-old is a mother of two boys (Quincy & Sebastian) and a wife of eight years to Broadway actor Christopher Morgan. Aside from Kim coming from an acting family (her mom is Chip Fields and her little sister is Alexis Fields ('Sister 2 Sister') and being married twice, we're not really sure what her storyline will be.  But are you interested in finding out?

It's a YBF story of inspiration and triumph -- the American dream come true for one man.  Come inside witness one immigrant's journey from homelessness to the Ivy League... 

In light of the countless shootings of unarmed Black men, and the murders of 9 Black church members in South Carolina, it's easy to forget that there is an American dream.  The chance of prosperity is supposedly open to everyone.  But the road is often much harder for some than others. 

Today, we've got a story about an immigrant from the Bahamas who's going from the streets of the Bronx to the Ivy League - at 36 years old!  And he's done some truly fabulous things, like founding his own charity to feed the homeless, to help others along the way.

Wellington Mackey has a story. And this fall, he'll be sharing it at Yale University thanks to the prestigious Cooke Scholarship for Transfer Students. CBS News tells the story saying:

At 36 years old, Wellington Mackey will be on the older undergrads at Yale University this fall, and after receiving the prestigious Cooke Scholarship for Transfer Students, he won’t have to pay for it.

“I don’t know how to even put it into words,” [Mackey] told CBS2’s Matt Kozar.

Mackey grew up poor in the Bahamas. He came to the U.S. by himself 13 years ago, and rented an apartment in the Bronx.
But his American dream quickly hit a brick wall; $100 a week working odd jobs wasn’t paying the rent. He was evicted and had nowhere to go.

Mackey slept on benches, in basements, and occasionally on friends’ couches.

“When you’re in that mode, you’re just trying to survive and go from day to day."

He relied on the generosity of church friends to help him back on his feet. He got a job with a cable satellite company, founded a charity called Helping Hands that works with soup kitchens, attended Westchester Community College on a full scholarship, and is now on to the Ivy League.

Sandra Ramsay, Westchester Community College director of scholarships and the woman who alerted Wellington about the opportunity, told CBS News, “Never give up. Anything is possible. You don’t know the opportunities available to you until you reach out and try."

Wellington added,“I didn’t come to school so I can get some career or make a lot of money. It was this goal in mind to change the realities of the most vulnerable people in society.”

What we've learned through Wellington's story is that hard work and persistence aligned with OPPORTUNITIES will afford those who aren't born with priviledge access to the "American" dream.  He's case in point why everyone - no matter age or background or previous tribulations - deserves a chance.

In an upcoming issue of Q Magazine, Kanye West makes a shocking admission - he blames himself for the death of his mother.  Find out why inside....

In the June 30th issue of the UK's biggest music publication Q Magazine, Kanye West talks about the revolution he hopes to spearhead for the 21st Century. It involves music, fashion, celebrity lifestyle and gratuitous pics of Kim Kardashian's nude body.

On a less superficial note, he also opened up about the death of his mother, Donda West, and the guilt he grapples with. In fact, he blames himself for her death. Although the issue isn't out yet, Entertainment Tonight/Yahoo News published the shocking admission earlier today.

When asked what he had to sacrifice for his success, he sadly said: "My mom. If I had never moved to L.A. she'd be alive. I don't want to go far into it because it will bring me to tears." 

You'll recall, Kanye's mother Donda died in 2007 from heart issues while suffering complications following plastic surgery.  He has since paid tribute to her legacy on the hit song "Only One," featuring his daughter North West.

On a happier note, Kanye, who's about to become a dad for the second time, demonstrated how seriously he takes his role as a father. He acutally schedules his meetings around North's playtime...not the other way around.

"While [Nori's] here in Europe I have to have six hours a day with her because otherwise I'll just work and she'll get scheduled around meetings," he admitted. "Instead, the meetings get scheduled around her."

Awww.....we wouldn't have suspected that.  And we love that.

President Barack Obama was tapped to deliver a eulogy for South Carolina state senator Rev. Clementa Pinckney for his funeral today. And the spirit moved POTUS as he broke into hymn, singing “Amazing Grace.” Check it inside….

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama jetted to Charleston, South Carolina (via Air Force One) today to attend South Carolina state senator Rev. Clementa Pinckney homegoing service at the TD Arena. 

Rev. Pinckney was amongst the nine innocent citizens who lost their lives as they worshiped the Lord during Bible Study at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church (where he served as pastor) last week.  The victims lost their lives at the hands of racist thug Dylann Roof fired several rounds of shots inside one of the nation’s oldest black churches.
 

Wrapping up his eulogy about the gracious Rev. Pickney (whom he had the chance to meet in 2007 when he first ran for President), POTUS got caught up in the spirit and began to sing gospel hymn “Amazing Grace.” He started out by saying, "If we can find that grace, anything is possible. If we can tap that grace, everything could change. Amazing grace.”

He then began to sing as the church full of mourners stood to their feet and joined the President in song.

The organ started playing and as mourners sang along with President Obama, he powerfully said,

"Clementa Pinckney found that grace. Cynthia Hurd found that grace. Susie Jackson found that grace. Ethel Lance found that grace. DePayne Middleton-Doctor that grace. Tywanza Sanders found that grace. Daniel L. Simmons Sr. found that grace. Sharonda Singleton found that grace. Myra Thompson found that grace," he said. "Through the example of their lives, they've now passed it on to us. May we find ourselves worthy of that precious and extraordinary gift as long as our lives endure. May grace now lead them home. May God continue to shed his grace on the United States of America."

Below are a few highlights from his eulogy where he talks about Rev. Clementa Pinckney’s legacy, race in American and the Confederate Flag:

"We are here today to remember a man of God who lived by faith, a man who believed in things not seen, a man who believed there were better days ahead off in the distance," the president said at funeral services for Pinckney at the TD Arena in Charleston. "He believed his efforts would deliver a better life for those who followed."

“Maybe we now realize the way racial bias can infect us even when we don’t realize it,” the president said. “For too long, we’ve been blind to the unique mayhem that gun violence inflicts on this nation."

“It would be a betrayal of everything Reverend Pinckney stood for if we allow ourselves to slip into a comfortable silence again. Once the eulogies have been delivered, once the TV cameras move on, to go back to business as usual. That’s what we so often do.”

“He was full of empathy and fellow feeling. What a good man. Sometimes I think that’s the best thing to hope for when you eulogize. After all the words and recitations and resumes are read, to just say somebody was a good man.”

“It’s true a flag did not cause these murders. As we all have to acknowledge, the flag has always represented more than just ancestral pride. For many, black and white, that flag was a reminder of systemic oppression and racial subjugation. We see that now."

“Removing the flag from this state’s capitol would not be an act of political correctness, it would not be an insult to the valor of confederate soldiers it would simply be an acknowledgement that the cause for each they fought, the cause of slavery was wrong,” he added to standing ovation. “By taking down that flag, we express God’s grace.”

Before POTUS made it to Charleston, he addressed the American people about the Supreme Court ruling same-sex marriage legal. In short, President O called the ruling a "victory in America." The U.S. Supreme Court ruled today, in a 5-4 decision, that gay and lesbian couples across the country have a constitutional right to marry.

As we gear up for tomorrow night's fourth episode from this season of "Power", Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton hit up "The View" today to chop it up about their sleeper-hit of a show.

After gaining major numbers throughout their first season with little promo, the cast of "Power" is going all out this season to get even more viewers.  And it's working.

After setting Starz network ratings records with their season 2 premiere, Naturi and Omari are on the promo prowl to tell everybdy about Ghost and Tasha's latest drama.

The twosome told "The View" co-hosts about Ghost juggling three personalites (Ghost, Jamie and James), why Tasha is FED UP with his cheating and bullsh*t and she makes a major move that Ghost can't handle, olus how they keep their chemistry going.

Omari said he's like a big broher to everyone on the set--including 50 Cent who's a bit younger than him.  Naturi reveals it's her dream to retun to Broadway....and to play "Dorothy" in The Wiz.  Do you hear that NBC?  Book her in the upcoming live musical!

Tennis champion Serena Williams is currently in London ahead of this year’s Wimbledon tournament, which kicks off at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club on Monday, June 29th.

While strolling the streets on a retail trip today, the 33-year-old tennis superstar ran into her friend Kim Kardashian West, who’s expecting a son with husband Kanye West.
 

The booty buddies embraced and seemed ecstatic to "randomly" run into each other. Kim, in a skin tight Givenchy skirt, is in town to support Yeezy during his headlining performance at Glastonbury Festival tomorrow.

Serena will be battling it out for her sixth Wimbledon Grand Slam kicking off next week after winning the Australian and French Opens earlier this year. We'll be watching.

Single lady Paula Patton was spotted exiting the Bowery Hotel in NYC today looking gorgeous in all black.

Since calling it quits with her ex-husband Robin Thicke, the fab mother-of-one has been getting back onto the acting scene with a few new projects. The Baggage Claim actress is gearing up to begin shooting a new Netflix film, alongside Adam Sandler, titledThe Do Over in Savannah, G.A. next month. She is also set to lead in ABC drama pilot "Runner," which would be her first major series. Recently, she wrapped up filming for her action thriller Warcraft, which is expected to hit theaters June, 10, 2016.

Chick is getting her coins. Not mad.

Mariah Carey is very close to getting a proposal...according to sources close to her camp.  Get the deets on the latest developments with James Packer inside and get an update on Laura Govan vs. Gilbert Arenas.

In the photo atop, Mariah Carey and her new billionaire boyfriend James Packer were spotted holding hands while out and about in Portofino, Italy yesterday.  And yes, they're getting very close....very quickly.

Sources close to the "Infinity" singer say she and James are SO SERIOUS about their romance that they're flying to Israel for what's being dubbed a "pre-engagement spiritual meeting" with a religious guru.

The guru is apparently a close pal of James and we're told that this is a "step" James believes he must take before popping the question. Now get this...once the meeting takes place (today) they're saying Mimi and James plan to move swiftly and "they will be married soon."

Hope the ink is dry on MiMi an Nick's divorce papers.

So....who is this spiritual guru with Mariah's fate in his hands? We don't know, but James is intentionally keeping the deets a secret for security reasons.

In not-so-happy relationship news...............

Reality tv vixen Laura Govan and the father of her four children, ex-NBA baller Gilbert Arenas are still battling it out in court - and Laura's losing.  You'll recall that Laura first took Gilbert to court for kicking her out of their home and taking back her fake $1 million engagement ring. 

Then we learned that he DEMOLISHED her car with a cinder block (above) recently.  Now, Laura claims he threatened her....but the judge doesn't seem to care.  We've learned that LG went to court this week to request a restraining order on Gilbert, claiming he told her "I want you dead or in jail or broke."

While this may or may not have really happened - either way - the judge ruled there wasn't enough evidence to warrant an emergency restraining order. After the hearing, TMZ claims Gilbert posted his Instagram, "Another victory in court ... I'm not the one to keep score but ur 0-16."

We didn't see the caption (because he likely deleted it), but we hope those two will play nice for the sake of the children.
