We're getting ready for the 2015 BET Awards - but first - check out what happened during The BET Experience at L.A. LIVE to kick off the festivities....

The BET Experience at L.A. LIVE presented by Coca-Cola® kicked off the festival weekend with a star packed Thursday and Friday experience. Thursday night featured a comedy show with Kevin Hart, followed by a concert at Club Nokia with Bell Biv Devoe and Doug E Fresh. Then yesterday....all eyes were on "2 On" singer Tinashe.

Tinashe is clearly the new darling of BET.  In addition performing for tomorrow night's Janet Jackson tribute, the fab chick has already landed two high profile roles during the BET Weekend.

She teamed with Ray-J for a one-off reboot of "106 & Park", one of the network's highest rated series of all time.

Thanks to her hosting duties, she got a chance to pop and lock with Wale.

Plus she chatted it up with Detroit sensation Dej Loaf.

Then, French Montana did a walk thorough to celebrate the one-time reactivation. 

Tinashe also performed her radio hits (we must admit, they're catchy and we kinda like them) last night at Club Nokia for a special BET concert event.

Ok BET...we see who you want your new queen to be...

Tinashe isn't the ONLY person getting props from BET this weekend.  R&B crooner Miguel also hit the stage last night to promote his upcoming LP Wildheart.

BET even let Grammy winning singer Ne-Yo perform in a tiny piece of space left unoccupied by Tinashe.

Then hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd got a piece of the action...

Elsewhere in LA yesterday:

Jay Z's TIDAL teamed with Meek Mill for a party at the Mondrian Hotel.

Singer Justine Skye came out to show some love and she grabbed a flick with Wale and Meek.

Rapper Fabolous, who just had a new baby with Emily B, took time away from diaper duty to hang out.

And.....Elle Varner was spotted at the function in her swimsuit.  Yeah, we thought it was Da Brat at first glance too.

Ashanti hit the stage for NYC Pride last night and she really put in work...or whatever we're calling it!  Check out Ashanti getting her performance on inside....

Last night, Ashanti twirled into NYC in a tight multicolored bodysuit and dance tights to rock a medley of her hits during a NYC Pride performance at Pier 26.

They must gave called Iyanla or somebody, because long time rivals Tamar Braxton & K.Michelle are squashing their beef....AND performing on stage together.  Deets inside...

Tamar Braxton announced yesterday that she and fellow singer K.Michelle are outting their differences aside and joining forces....on stage...at the 2015 BET Awards.  Yep, the two divas will be belting out somebody's song at some point on stage Sunday night.

Their beef dates back to 2013 when Tamar called out K. for jacking her wig.  We all know K.Michelle taks no prisoners when sheclaps back, so the beef played out for years over social media like THIS, THIS, and THIS.

Tamar even had a break down on national TV when she did the ugly cry on her talk show, "The Real," when she recalled folks like K.Michelle saying she looks like a "muppet."

Fast forward to yesterday when Tamar hit up "Entertainment Tonight" and made the shocking announcement that she and K.Michelle are making amends on stage at this year's BET Awards.  The "All The Way Home" singer said:

There is a very special performance that is coming up.  With the whole women empowerment and everyone coming together and women coming from a place where we all can understand each other..I'm doing a very special performance with myself and K.Michelle, who in the past, we've both had a lot of disagreements...about life in general.

This is actually the first time we'll be meeting each other.  I'm just really excited.  I'm about girls sticking up for each other and being there for each other.  It's just time for all the nonsense to stop.  Let's just empower each other and be great.

Across the pond, Kanye West's performance at Glastonbury got crashed by a heckler while Taylor Swift's UK show featured a surprise appearance from Serena Williams.  Get the dish inside...

Kanye West had a weekend of highs and lows as he took his "Yeezus" set overseas to headline the Glastonbury Music Festival.  Before Kanye hit the Pyramid Stage, his presence at the festival had already ruffled feathers. 

The Daily Mail reports that 134k music lovers signed a petition to hve his headline act cancelled. GASP!  Music snobs were apparently upset that  hip-hop had taken over the main stage and pushed other genres (the whole point of the festival) to the background.  Or it COULD have just been the choice of hip hop act--Kanye himself.

One music fan crashed Kanye West's Pyramid stage performance!  Luckily, security dragged him off stage, but Kanye was visibly annoyed.  Shockingly, we've learned the stunt was actually premeditated as the heckler, comedian named Lee Nelson, tweeted this pic BEFORE the stunt. 

Hmm....maybe celebrities should have their security teams scan social media before their clients hit the stage....just in case.  

Kim Kardashian West, who's pregnant with the couple's second child, arrived with Kanye via helicopter Saturday afternoon.  She enjoyed the concert performance from her own self-contained area near the stage in another super tight dress and heels. She tweeted, "Perfect shoes for Glastonbury! LOL (have my wellies in the car don't worry)." 

Kanye's headline set was broadcast live on British television. Check out a few clips...

Country/Pop princess Taylor Swift headlined the British Summer Time festival with a special guest....Serena Williams!

The world's #1 tennis player did an ole nasty catwalk victory strut as she surprised the audience.  If you're wondering why Serena is in the UK, she's about to start the 2015 Wimbledon tourney.  Earlier in the day, she was spotted at Tanner Street Park where she put on a tennis clinic for girls as part of the Nike Court Club.  And she also "randomly" ran into her friend Kim K. in the London streets the day before.

Back on stage....Taylor's milkshake brought several high profile girls to the yard. She and Serena were also joined by Martha Hunt, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne.

And Serena posed it up with her bestie Caroline Wozniaki and Karlie in the crowd. Fun times.

As 2015 BET EXPERIENCE Weekend continues we've got flicks from the celebrity basketball game (where Nicki& Meek were boo'd up) and last night's concert where Snoop Dogg brought out Too Short.  Come inside....

Saturday afternoon at the Los Angeles Convention Center.....

"Truffle Butter" rapstress Nicki Minaj arrived courtside for the Sprite's BET Experience celebrity basketball game that featured her boo thang Meek Mill.  Nicki giggled as she arrived under the protection of several beefy bodyguards who escorted her inside to thunderous applause from the audience.

And the first person Nicki greeted was Meek....

He even took a break from "dunkin on em" to sit with Nicki for a bit.

Over the weekend, the twosome have been very supportive of one another's events.  Last night, Nicki did a concert for BET at the Staples Center while Meek hosted a party for TIDAL at the Mondrian Hotel earlier in the afternoon.

On the court....

The Game arrived with his Louis Vuitton "gym" bag in tow.  He recently released the "100" single featuring Drake from his upcoming album #TheDocumentary2.

A sometimes shirtless Chris Brown and Snoop Dogg each hit the court to show off their skills.

After the game..... 

The celebs headed over to the Staples Center for a concert that featured Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock and Snoop Dogg. Then this happened....he brought out Too Short!  Blow the whistle!

During the 2015 Community Impact Awards Presented By Dennys, he was honored for his charitable works in the community.  Also...there's a social media campaign to get him cast as The Green Lantern Warner Bros. upcoming movie.  We'll keep our fingers crossed for Black Ty.

If you're wondering where Cassie's been, she's currently filming a movie named "The Perfect Match"  alongside an ensemble back actor cast.

The 2015 BET Awards have kicked-off at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. Peep the earlybird red carpet arrivals from LaLa Anthony, Justine Skye, Flo Rida and Machine Gun Kelly inside….

YBF celebs have flocked to this year’s BET Awards going down at the Microsoft Theater (formally the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live). And the red carpet is heating up with a few of your faves.

“Power” star LaLa Anthony popped up early on the carpet in a funky printed Peter Pilotto bodycon and yellow Giuseppe Zanotti heels before getting to her red carpet hosting duties. We’re loving her new long bob!
 

If you’ve been under a rock, LaLa’s first sex scene on the hit STARZ series aired last night. And it was quite hot.  QUITE.

R&B songstress Justine Skye kept it flawless on the carpet rocking a Balmain LBD paired with Stuart Weitzman shoes.

The gorgeous newcomer said Xena Warrior Princess inspired her look. Do we love it?!

Keeping with the summer theme, rapper Flo Rida hit the carpet in a pink suit paired with white loafers.

He snapped it up with his artist (signed to his International Music Group imprint) “Somebody” singer Natalie La Rose. She performed her now platinum single with Jeremih during the BET Pre-Show.

Amber Rose’s boo Machine Gun Kelly hit the carpet solo after performing while his girl worked the carpet with her bestie Blac Chyna. While on the carpet, Machine revealed the Sister Code actress picked out his ensemble. How did she do?

Disney star Zendaya loves changing up her look. And we love anticipating what she’s going to do next.

The “K.C. Undercover” star showed off her long legs in a glittery shirtdress by Nicolas Jebran paired with sky-high Roberto Cavalli platform sandals on the carpet before hitting the stage to present. Much different from her Oscars' faux locs, the teen went for a short cropped coif. And for those who have something to say about her pixie cut, she tweeted:

While the ladies served us in their evening gowns, the fellas came to represent too.

Chris Brown hit the carpet in a rather laid back look, rocking a floral sleeved bomber jacket, black shorts and black sneakers. Breezy has been hitting the stage all night with a few electrifying performances.
 

West coast rapper Kendrick Lamar kicked off this year’s BET Awards with a performance of his track “Alright,” a cut from his third studio album To Pimp A Butterfly. The conscious rapper took home the “Best Male Hip Hop” Award.  Plus, his fiancée Whitney Alford was in the audience to cheer him on.

Sexy actor Morris Chestnut kept it dapper in a powder blue suit on the red carpet before hitting the stage to present. He’s gearing up for the release of his upcoming thriller The Perfect Guy, starring opposite Sanaa Lathan.  The film hits theaters September 11th.  We're so in there.

Morris’ co-star Michael Ealy also trekked the carpet in a suit…although this isn’t one of our favorite looks from the handsome star. He will be playing the crazed boyfriend to Sanaa’s character in The Perfect Guy.

“black•ish” kiddie Miles Brown brought the cuteness in his fire red suit, bow tie and white shoes. Adorbs. Miles hit the stage during Jidenna’s set and also performed alongside his “black•ish” siblings with rapper Silento, hitting the Whip/Nae Nae dance.

R&B newcomer Jacob Latimore was in attendance, flashing a smile.

V103 radio host and “Love & Hip Hop After Party Live” host Big Tigger got dapper in a black suit, sans his girlfriend Keshia Knight Pulliam.

Hollywood’s hottest couple Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe hit the carpet looking like a million bucks. The fab couple was color coordinated with Nicole slaying in a white lace gown and Boris looking dapper as ever in a gray blazer trimmed in black and white trousers.

Work! Nicole and Boris are gearing up for their brand new talk show together titled “The Boris & Nicole Show,” scheduled to make its debut July 6th.

LeToya Luckett got glam in Australian label Zhivago showing off her leg work in a high slit white gown and Jimmy Choo heels. The former Destiny’s Child singer is starring on the new HBO series “Ballers” (starring opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), which airs Sundays at 10 pm ET.

“Being Mary Jane” star Salli Richardson-Whitfield and her husband "Mistresses" star Dondre Whitfield hit the carpet together ahead of the ceremony. 

The fab chick posed it up in a green sheer cut-out dress showing off her toned bod. She's currently filming season 3 of "Being Mary Jane" in Atlanta and the new season will premiere this fall. Chick is SLAYING.

Prints, pants, capes and cocktail dresses covered the BET Awards red carpet Sunday night.

Karrueche Tran was unbothered by her ex Chris Brown being n the stage every 5 minutes and she showed up with a new platinum 'do and an eye catching pants suit by Stello from Michael & Stephanie Costello.  She rocked a sexy La Perla bra underneath and topped off the look with Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Kae's bestie Christina Milian also went for a colorful pants look.  She flew solo without her boo Lil Wayne (are they even still together after they did their promo for that "Star A Fire" song?)

The revealing look some type of way worked for her, even though it reminded us of one of those bead & jewel craft sets we got as kids.

Keeping with the pants trend, Lil Mama rocked a suit with an embellished lapel before she rocked the pre-show stage with her song "Sausage."

Shaun Robinson and Michelle Williams showed off their slim and trim figures on the carpet.

Sanaa Lathan looked sparkling hot as she hit the carpet to promote her upcoming movie The Perfect Guy.

BET President Debra Lee kept it simple in coral.

Janelle Monae loves a cape, as we know.  So Sunday night was no different as she hit the carpet in a fashion forward all black look -- alongside her Wondaland artist "Classic Man" singer Jidenna --  before taking the stage.

Ms. Monae also took the stage to rock her newest hit "Yoga."  Loves her.

And finally, "OITNB" star Laverne Cox rocked a tuxedo jumpsuit by Dmitry Sholokhov.  The ladies definitely wore the pants Sunday night...and we loved it.

Well, well, well.  Hottie Sevyn Streeter loves a sexy look and a bold color....and so do we.  The "It Won't Stop" singer hit the carpet in a hot pink Solace London cut-out dress with rapper boyfriend B.o.B. last night. 

Very nice.

NFLer Desean Jackson, who's getting his own BET reality show soon, and Fast 7 actor Tyrese gave some smiles on the carpet.  Desean's came with a grill, though.

"Try Me" Raptress Dej Loaf is going out on the Pink Print tour with Nicki Minaj soon.  So she had to make her presence known in this see through look by Zhivago.

Eva Marcille and her sparkly jumpsuit took the carpet last night.

Cassie showed both legs and boobs in her skin tight Alexandre Vauthier mini dress paired with Christian Louboutin pumps as Bad Boy celebrated their 20th anniversary.  We're sure her man/boss Diddy was proud of her look.

Brandy kept it super cute in a Michael Costello baby doll dress.  Adorbs.

Fellas Anthony Hamilton and 2 Chainz hit the carpet before hitting the stage.

Singer Tinashe was there to do a tribute to Janet Jackson.  And we're still undecided on how she did.  Your thoughts?

TV stars Raven Goodwin ("Being Mary Jane") and Demetria McKinney ("House of Payne") made their presence known. Raven in her bright coral jumpsuit and Demetria glittering in gold, they both looked fab and were hard to miss.

K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton both performed at the 2015 BET AWARDS....and they were surprisingly joined by Patti Labelle for a performance of "If Only You Knew."

Tonight, reality tv divas K. Michelle and Tamar Braxton made amends and set aside their two-year social media beef.  The joint performance included K singing “Hard to Do” followed by Tamar, singing her latest, “If I Don’t Have You.” And she rocked a gold fur! 

Tamar told the audience, “Life is all about forgiveness, love, and unity, so tonight, I’m sorry K. Michelle, and I also forgive you.”  Then the ladies appeared on stage together to sing Patti LaBelle’s "If Only You Knew."  They were then joined by Patti Labelle herself.

It's a must see moment, all the extra-ness included.  Check it below.

Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill and Chris Brown performed "All Eyes On You" at the 2015 BET AWARDS tonight.  Watch it inside...

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill walked the 2015 BET Awards red carpet together before hitting the stage to perform their new collaboration "All Eyes On You" from Meek’s forthcoming album, Dreams Worth More Than Money.

The couple have already shot a video for the clip and Meek's album is out today.

Nicki and Meek are really pushing this relationship for everything it's worth...and we're sure it'll continue as long as there's a joint tour and albums to promote.

Tonight, during the 2015 BET AWARDS, Chris Brown began his set with new single “Liquor.” Then he brought out Tyga for their Fan of a Fan collaboration “Ayo.” Later, Omarion joined them on stage for “Post To Be.” 

During the show, Chris walked away with Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, The Fandemonium Award, and the Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice Award: with Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil' Wayne "Only."

FYI - This August, Chris will go across North America for the “One Hell of a Nite” tour with Omarion, Kid Ink, Fetty Wap, and Teyana Taylor.

During the 2015 BET Awards, Rihanna (wearing Armani) took the stage to drop a teaser for her #BBHMM video.  In the clip, which she co-directed with Megaforce, RiRi kidnaps a rich white lady in the elevator....and that's all we know for now.  But, somebody better give her the money....

The video features original "Martin" cast members Thomas Mikal Ford,Reginald Ballard and Martin Lawrence himself.

Janet Jackson returned to the spotlight tonight, accepting the first Ultimate Icon Award from BET for her contributions to music. During her speech, she thanks her parents (whom were in the audience) and her loving husband. The award was presented to her by long-time collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

BET put together an energetic tribute featuring Jason Derulo, Tinashe and Ciara. No one sang....it was all about dancing.  And all about Ciara nailing the Janet look.
