The Queen Bee is back....not Beyonce...we're referring to the "other" Queen Bee. 

Lil Kim is back with the jumpoff, but this time, her return will come through a new reality series (not music) which she announced today via YouTube.

In a clip recently uploaded, she addresses fans saying, “It's time for the black Kardashian....Anything I do, just has to be big and I’m gonna take you guys on that journey with me and I’m so excited about that.”

This isn't Kim's first time at the rodeo when it comes to reality tv. She had a hit in 2005 when she starred on BET's Countdown To Lockdown about her last two weeks as a free woman.

Based on her Instagram page, we suspect this "journey" will include appearances from Floyd Mayweather and the #TMT in addition to concert footage and clips of her raising her daughter Royal Reign.

In other reality developments...

EJ Johnson, the son of Magic and Cookie, is celebrating his weight loss and we have to say, he looks amazing!  We spotted EJ, who stars on the reality series "#Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills" during a recent promo jaunt through NYC where he appeared on FOX's "Good Day New York" alongside anchor Rosanna Scotto (above) and his co-stars Morgan Stewart and Dorothy Wang (below).

And during a recent stop by the Wendy Williams show, EJ revealed that he's dropped well over 100lbs.  "It's definitely somewhere far over 100. I mean like literally almost half my size."

EJ, who was very open about discussing his weight loss surgery added, "It was a tool. And I think that it was something that really helped me jumpstart the life I definitely wanted to lead.

And a few months ago, he told PEOPLE,

"I wanted to be the best me I can be and that's always something I wanted to do. It's something that I struggled with and I needed that push in the right direction. And now my mindset is completely changed."

Former "BBW" star Evelyn Lozada was spotted filming her new reality show.  We told you about the new series a few week ago, which is on the OWN fall 2015 lineup.

The new show carries the working title "Evelyn" and will feature her entire family, including fiance Carl Crawford (LA Dodgers), daughter Shaniece and the littlest one Carl Leo Jr. Here's the synopsis:

"Evelyn” (working title) follows the lives of Evelyn Lozada, of “Basketball Wives” fame, and her 21-year-old daughter Shaniece. Evelyn is engaged to big league baseball player Carl Crawford and the couple just welcomed their first child, Carl Leo Jr., to the family last March. Between learning to be a mom all over again, setting up a new home in Los Angeles for her and her family, running several businesses as well as dealing with issues surrounding her family back East… Evelyn has a lot going on!

Not to be outdone, her daughter Shaniece’s modeling career is taking off resulting in a flood of business opportunities with no clear choice of which to pursue, leaning on her mom for advice which she (sometimes) takes. Each episode is filled with close friends and relatives in the ladies’ lives who help round out a world filled with laughter, support, encouragement and tears as we follow Shaniece carving out the new life before her and Evelyn finally feeling like she has the life she deserves. The series is produced by Shed Media with Pam Healey, John Hesling, Lisa Shannon, Russ Heldt and Evelyn Lozada as executive producers."

Ciara returned home for her JACKIE tour and mistakenly kicked a dude in the face! Peep the clip and get the deets on Deborah Cox’s upcoming “The Bodyguard” tour inside…

As she treks the nation on her "JACKIE" tour, Ciara rolled in Atlanta last night for a homecoming performance. The “Goodies” songstress rocked the house before a sold out crowd at the Center Stage Arena and it appears concertgoers were really vibin' to her performance.

CiCi brought her electrifying dance moves as she kicked off her set with “1, 2 Step,” followed by selections “I Bet,” “Body Party,” “Dance Like We’re Making Love” and more.

But during her performance of “Lap Dance (I Run It)," CiCi suffered a minor mishap. After welcoming a male fan on stage for a sultry lap dance, she proceeded to flip up off the ground onto his lap when she accidentally kicked him…in the face!

On another tour....

We have some exciting news if you’re a fan of “The Bodyguard,” the 1992 breakout film for iconic singer Whitney Houston.

Singer Deborah Cox, who provided the vocals to Whitney’s classic hits in the LIFETIME biopic, is set to kick-off a North American stage musical tour of “The Bodyguard” coming to a stage near you in 2016, according to reports.

"The Bodyguard" musical will include classic hits such as "Saving All My Love," ''I Will Always Love You" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and it’s being directed by English director Thea Sharrock. In 2012, “The Bodyguard” musical opened in London, starring “In My Mind” singer Heather Headley.

Deborah knows a thing or two about live performances as she made her Broadway debut in Elton John and Tim Rice's musical "Aida." Most recently, she starred in “Jekyll & Hyde,” so we’re sure her upcoming show will be a treat.

Coming up for Deborah…she will be releasing her sixth studio album this summer, the follow-up to her 2008 LP titled, The Promise. Not only that, she will also star as legendary performer Josephine Baker in the musical Josephine, beginning April 27, 2016 on Broadway. We're here for it all.

Lupita has been twirling and spinning on red carpets all week at the Cannes Film Festival where her "look" from earlier coined a new term "the fronut."  Speaking of her hair, Lupita tweeted,"They are calling it a #fronut. I like that. #hair @vernonfrancois #cannes2015 #donutbun #fronutbun"

LaLa Anthony will be appearing on tomorrow’s episode of “The Real.” Find out what she revealed about her “Power” character LaKeisha and peep coupledom candids of NeNe& Gregg Leakes, Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert inside….

For tomorrow’s episode of "The Real,” actress/author/fashion and cosmetics mogul LaLa Anthony drops in to chop it up with the ladies about “Power,” her recently released self-help book “The Power Playbook,” and her relationship with New York Knicks baller Carmelo Anthony.

When probed about the upcoming season of STARZ series “Power” (premiering June 6th) La didn’t reveal much, but she did talk about how nosey her character LaKeisha is and how it might land her in some trouble.

Below are the highlights:

Tamera Mowry-Housley: Last season, your show Power had everybody on the edge of their seats. You have to tell us what we can expect from your character, LaKeisha, a ride or die BFF this season.

La La Anthony: Yeah, LaKeisha is definitely ride or die on the show. Power has been amazing, so I'm looking forward to the second season. It's premiering in June and, you know, like any other best friend, I'm always trying to find information that I probably shouldn't be trying to find.

Tamar Braxton: Right!

La La Anthony: I'm always like, Well, girl who bought you those earrings? How you get this? How you get that? And with me constantly digging I start finding out things that I probably shouldn't know and, you know, it gets a little tricky. So Power is back on June 9th on the Starz network.
 

LaLa also will discuss how she manages her cosmetics and fashion businesses, Motives for La La and 5th & Mercer, and what it was like filming with Kevin Hart in Las Vegas for Think Like A Man Too.

The Leakes and the Herberts made it a couples’ night out for dinner, drinks and laughs.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes and her husband Gregg Leakes made their way inside The Polo Bar in NYC to catch up with their friends "The Real" co-host Tamar Braxton and her husband Vince Herbert.

We're wonder if NeNe and Tamar shared a few laughs over Kenya Moore's fakefailed relationship. You know these two love to throw shade.

'ATL' fans, we have some good news. Filming for the movie's sequel will begin in a few months. Find out what co-stars (and twin sisters) Malika& Khadijah Haqq revealed to TheYBF.com today and listen to their cast mates Evan Ross and T.I. teaming up on “How To Live Again” inside….

We told you the sequel to the coming-of-age film ATLwas in the works. And now, we have the deets on when production will begin.

ATL stars and twin sisters Malika Haqq and Khadijah Haqq stopped to chop it up with TheYBF.com’s NYC correspondent James Turner on the red carpet at the NBCUniversal Upfronts today in NYC to dish on the upcoming ATL sequel. The twins' pals Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner accompanied them on the carpet.

In between filming for their “KUWTK” spin-off “Dash Dolls,” the ladies will be joining the original ATL cast, including T.I. (Rashad), Lauren London (New New), Evan Ross (Ant), Jackie Long (Esquire), Jason Weaver (Teddy) and Albert Daniels (Brooklyn) to begin filming in August. And the original director, Chris Robinson, will helm the follow-up film.

Sweet.

Speaking of ATL....

Evan Ross has joined forces with his ATL big brother T.I. to drop 16 bars on his single “How to Love Again.” He already released the video treatment to the track, starring his wife and mother Diana Ross. And now, he brings the remix.

“How To Live Alone” is a ballad he wrote for pregnant wife Ashlee Simpson whom he married last August. He told Billboard, “The song is about the idea that if you couldn't be with the one you love, you would learn how to live alone. Because you could never love another.”

The upcoming first time dad also talked about juggling his busy acting career (CrazySexyCool: The TLC Movie; Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1) and stepping into the music industry.

“It took a minute, but I’m glad I waited,” says Ross. “I could have probably rushed an album out years ago, but it wouldn’t have been good. I’m in a place now where there are things that I want to share, and this album is really about the joy of being in love. A few years ago I don’t know what this record would have been about. Acting is great, but music is more personal—it’s actually about me—and I wanted to make sure it felt right.”

The official visuals with T.I. will be directed by Jessy Terrero and will be coming soon. For his debut album (which he’s putting the finishing touches on), he’s working with heavyweight producers Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston), DJ White Shadow (Lady Gaga, Chris Brown), Rich Skillz and more. He’s also gearing up for a residency in Los Angeles that kicks off after Memorial Day.

Beyonce loves showing off her “outfit of the day” poses on Instagram. And last week, she posed it up in a red and black ombre micro pleat Alexander Wang crop top, which she styled with a black midi skirt detailed with red trimming at the top and black sandals, topping off her look with her hair slicked into a long braid.

Today, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes rocked the exact same Alexander Wang top pairing it with a matching skirt and silver pumps. TheYBF.com’s NYC correspondent James Turner caught up with the reality star and her husband Gregg Leakes at a NBCUniversal Upfronts after party. Traffic is so crazy in NYC right now, NeNe and Gregg had to WALK to the venue. Hope her heels are comfortable.

It is with great sadness to report the passing of legendary guitarist B.B. King aka The King of Blues. He was 89. More inside…..

The music world lost a legend last night. Blues guitarist B.B. King died in Las Vegas at the age of 89, confirmed by his daughter Shirley King. He died peacefully in his sleep at his home, according to attorney Brent Bryson.

His daughter Shirley claims none of his children were allowed to be with him when he died and she found out about his passing from the media. She issued a statement to CBS News that reads:

"I'm just very torn up they wouldn't let me see my father since he passed. I don't know what to say. I cant believe they went to fighting and they kept him away from the family so he could go and not have the family say goodbye," she said.

"I hope that I can get some media investigate what's going on. Something's not right about this picture. We should be able to see him in his last moments. I got a call from someone in the news media and that's how I found out initially.

"I appreciate the great man he was and hill always be a famous icon. Those moments should have never been stolen from me. He was a family man who took care of his whole family. He will always live in my heart. God Bless"

The Missisippi native was born on a cotton plantation and his parents were sharecroppers. He started his career in radio with a gospel quartet, then he hitchiked to Memphis, TN where he continued his career as a disc jockey. He first went by the moniker "Beale Street Blues Boy," which he later shorten to B.B.

B.B was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1984 after having sold millions of records worldwide. His list of achievements include, receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush, winning a Grammy for best male rhythm 'n' blues performance in 1971 for "The Thrill Is Gone," best ethnic or traditional recording in 1982 for "There Must Be a Better World Somewhere" and best traditional blues recording or album several times. He won his last Grammy in 2009 for best blues album for "One Kind Favor." He won a total of 15 Grammys.

He also gave a guitar to Pope John Paul II and performed at a 2012 White House concert attended by President Obama. He was known for playing a Gibson guitar that he affectionately named Lucille.

Although he had type 2 diabetes later in life, he still performed at hundreds of concerts over the years and continued to tour well into his late 80s.

Earlier this month (May 1st), B.B. sent a message to his fans via his website informing them he was in hospice care. The message reads,

“I am in home hospice care at my residence in Las Vegas.
Thanks to all for your well wishes and prayers.”
B.B. King

The last message on his site confirmed his passing. It reads:

Mr. King passed peacefully in his sleep at 9:40 pm Pacific time May 14 2015

The legendary guitarist was married twice and had a total of 15 biological and adopted children, leaving behind 11 of them.

President Barack Obama issued a statement on the passing of the iconic entertainer. He said:

"The blues has lost its king, and America has lost a legend. B.B. King was born a sharecropper’s son in Mississippi, came of age in Memphis, Tennessee, and became the ambassador who brought his all-American music to his country and the world. No one worked harder than B.B. No one inspired more up-and-coming artists. No one did more to spread the gospel of the blues.

Three years ago, Michelle and I hosted a blues concert at the White House. I hadn’t expected that I’d be talked into singing a few lines of “Sweet Home Chicago” with B.B. by the end of the night, but that was the kind of effect his music had, and still does. He gets stuck in your head, he gets you moving, he gets you doing the things you probably shouldn’t do—but will be always be glad you did. B.B. may be gone, but that thrill will be with us forever. And there’s going to be one killer blues session in heaven tonight." —President Obama

Beyonce and Jay Z were seen leaving a studio in NYC yesterday. Peep their coupledom candids inside…..

Fueling rumors that an upcoming joint album from The Carters is in the works, Beyonce and Jay Z were spotted leaving a NYC studio yesterday.

The “Flawless” one showed her killer legs in a pair of fuchsia DSquared leather shorts paired with an orange Cushnie Et Ochs cut out long sleeve crop top, hot pink pumps and a jewel colored bag. Loving these spring colors and Bey is looking young and fresh-faced as ever.

Rumors have been swirling for months that Mr. & Mrs. Carter are working on a joint album. In April, DJ Skee of Skee TV said industry sources confirm that the album is almost done and will be released exclusively on TIDAL.

Bey nor Hov have confirmed or denied the rumors, but these multiple studio trips together lead us to believe something is on the horizon.

Jay Z is gearing up for his free ‘B-Sides’ concert on Saturday and Sunday at Terminal 5 in NYC, exclusively for Tidal subscribers. Next up, he’ll be headlining a benefit for RobinsonCano's RC22 Foundation at Seattle's Paramount Theatre June 3rd alongside Rihanna.

In other news....

Bill Cosby is finally breaking his silence and speaking out about the sexual assault allegations brought against him from multiple different women. Well...sort of.

“The Cosby Show” creator appeared on “Good Morning America” this morning in an interview with ABC correspondent Linsey Davis to promote his march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, AL with underprivileged students. Today, he is set to speak to high school students to help raise awareness about underfunded schools in Selma, collaborating with the Black Belt Community Foundation.

In the interview clip, set to air in full on "Nightline" tonight, the 77-year- comedian was asked how he would respond if a student asked him about the sexual assault allegations. He said,

"I'm not sure that they will come like that. I think that many of them will say, 'Well you're a hypocrite, you say one thing, you say the other.' My point is, listen to me carefully, I'm telling you where the road is out. You wanna be here, or you wanna be concerned about who is giving you the message?"

When asked if he thinks the allegations will overshadow his philanthropic work, he responded,

“I have been in this business 52 years and I’ve never seen anything like this. Reality is the situation and I can’t speak.”

So what would he like his legacy to be? He said,

"I really know about what I'm going to do tomorrow. I have a ton of ideas to put on television about people and their love for each other."

We told you video vixen/model Tae Heckard and Detroit Pistons baller Brandon Jennings were possibly expecting a baby. And now it’s official! The couple is expecting a baby boy, whom they have already named Brandon Byron Jennings II, soon. And Tae officially confirmed it with an Instagram post last night.

The 36-year-old (possibly push 37) snapped a pic of her growing belly (above) with the caption,

Tae's official announcement comes less than a week after the 25-year-old NBA baller posted and deleted a picture of Tae’s belly (her face was not in the picture) on Mother’s Day, announcing their new bundle of joy was on the way.

You’ll recall, their relationship was a hot topic in the headlines last year after Teyana Taylor spilled some hurt tea on her former friend (Tae) hooking up with her ex-fiancé. The ladies never reconciled their friendship. Teyana has since moved on to Cleveland Cavaliers baller Iman Shumpert.

Well, congrats to the couple again!

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose’s two-year-son Sebastian stars in his dad’s newest video, “The Play.”

In the visuals, we see Wiz in daddy-mode as he pushes Baby Bash on the swing in the park, the twosome hang out by the lake to feed the ducks and the father-son duo play around in the dirt. So adorbs.

The entire “Scandal” cast came out to host the season four finale screening at the Paley Center For Media in NYC last night. Also, a few of your fave reality stars hit the carpet the NBCUniversal Upfronts. Pics inside….

The explosive fourth season finale of “Scandal” aired last night. But before we watched Olivia Pope go head-to-head against her father Papa Pope, the entire “Scandal” cast, including Scott Foley, Portia de Rossi, Darby Stanchfield, Guillermo Diaz, Joe Morton, Joshua Malina, Jeff Perry, Bellamy Young, Tony Goldwyn and Kerry Washington, gathered at the Paley Center For Media in NYC to host a finale screening yesterday.

Kerry Washington, who plays the powerful crisis manager Olivia Pope, worked the carpet in a silver and yellow Prabal Gurung frock, which she styled with black Russo peep-toe pumps and her hair pulled back into an around the head braid. She stopped to pose it up for the cameras and talk to the media as she made her way down the carpet and inside the event.

Emmy winner Joe Morton aka Papa Pope was all smiles on the purple carpet.

Once inside, the cast appeared on stage to chop it up about the season four finale titled, "You Can't Take Command." We learned after last night's episode, you can't beat Command, but it appears Eli Pope can be brought down. Or can he? We'll see when the fifth season picks back up this fall.

At another event....

NBCUniversal held it’s Upfront presentation at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in NYC yesterday. And a few of your fave reality stars were front-and-center on the carpet.

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss Tucker posed it up on the carpet in a printed black, white and pink bodycon dress.

"RHOA" mean girl Kenya Moore glowed on the carpet in a marigold Cushnie et Ochs pencil dress with her ladies on full display. While on the carpet, EXTRA correspondent AJ Calloway caught up with Kenya to ask her to respond to the "Millionaire Matchmaker" scandal. As you all know, Ms. Twirl released a statement a few days ago announcing she broke up with her boyfriend James because she found out he was married! She dished to AJ,

“I’m not the first person that’s been lied to by a man, and I’m not the last. I’m in this fight and I’m a warrior and I just think life trails on, that’s it.” She continued, “You gotta kiss some frogs to find a prince, things happen and it’s just how you react to it that determines your future and I just think that this is just a bump in the road.”

When asked if she thought James could have possibly been cheating on her, she said she believes he was.

“We did the show in November and there’s evidence of me being out, and [having] birthday dinners together. My birthday was at the end of January, so that’s pretty clear, but it is what it is.”

AJ also caught up with “Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger, the woman behind it all. She explained what happened saying, “He was single when he shot [the show], which was in November. They basically dated, they broke up, he did not date his old girlfriend and marry her... He met a new girl in January, and he ended up marrying her, it was very fast. She added, "Bottom line is long distance relationships are tough.”

"#RichKidsOfBeverlyHills" stars Dorothy Wang, E.J. Johnson and Morgan Stewart posed it up on the carpet. Their new season premieres May 24th on E!

E! News correspondent Alicia Quarles worked the carpet in this red number.

"Fashion Queens" stars Bevy Smith and celebrity hairstylists Derek J and Miss Lawrence (all shining in gold) stopped to chop it up with YBF correspondent James Turner. Bevy told us she's currently working on a bra line for big chest women, while Lawrence is working on an upcoming lipstick line.

Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander, Shaq's ex-girlfriend, is set to star in a new OXYGEN reality series with the working title “Aunt Nikki." The show will follow her unique family, living with her five younger sisters and her 11 nieces and nephews on a ranch in rural Knoxville, Tennessee.

Actress Gina Torres, wife to "black-ish" star Laurence Fishburne, stopped to dish on horror series "Hannibal," set to return for season 3 June 4th. She stars opposite of her husband playing his wife on the show. Ha! She dished to TheYBF.com about another series she's starring "Suits" on the USA Network. The YBF actress said her husband does not like to talk about her role on the show and that he's not an avid watcher, but he does watch episodes here and there.

"RHOA" queen NeNe Leakes, rocking red and black ombre micro pleat Alexander Wang crop topwith matching midi skirt,and her husband Gregg Leakes were spotted at a party after the Upfronts. We hear, traffic was so bad in NYC, the Leakes had to WALK to get to the event. Hope her shoes were comfortable.

NeNe and Tamar linked up again after a couples' night out with their spouses a few days ago. She captioned, "That moment when you smiling and talking thru your teeth at the same time! "say what girl" #goodtea Round 2 date nite wit our hubby's in NYC!"

Solange closed out Bessie’s 81 Theatre Tour with a surprise performance in L.A. last night. Meanwhile, Tamar Braxton debuted her spring line for her clothing line The Tamar Collection in NYC. More inside…..

Solange Knowles Ferguson had all eyes on her when she showed up at the final Bessie 81 Theatre Tour stop in L.A. last night rocking a nude pencil dress topped with a cape. Chick is killing the game with these capes! We’re loving this look.

Bessie’s 81 Theatre Tour, which kicked off in April in NYC, celebrates HBO’s upcoming Bessie biopic, starring Queen Latifah, which chronicles the life of late blues singer Bessie Smith. And for its final stop, Solo rocked the house with a surprise performance.

The invite-only concert opened with a set by Motown Records singer Stacy Barthe.

Following her set, Solo hit the stage (which we hear she was hours late) for an electrifying performance where she busted out a few of her dance moves as she serenaded the audience with her vocals. Peep her moves below:

The YBF singer-songwriter also debuted a new track titled "Rise," which is a tribute song to Ferguson and Baltimore. She said the track may end up on an upcoming album, telling the audience,

“We’re gonna attempt to play a song for the first time that may or may not be on the record, but it probably will be. I wrote this one for Ferguson, for Baltimore, and it’s called ‘Rise.'”

Tamar Braxton is one busy lady. On top of co-hosting daytime talk show “The View,” managing her singing career, and being a mom and wife, the Braxton sister also has her own clothing line called ‘The Tamar Collection.”

Last night, the "Braxton Family Values" star debuted her collection's spring line at Red Light PR in NYC where her big sister Toni Braxton and mom Evelyn came out to support.

Tamar offered a sneak peek at her current offerings and an exclusive preview of her new Fall shoe collection. The singer/reality star has been in NYC attending meetings and trekking on a promo tour for her collection. Sweet!

After toasting it up for her bestie Karrueche’s 27th birthday in L.A., Christina Milian jetted to Miami Beach for some fun in the sun.

The “Rebel” singer slipped into a Mint Swim bikini (shouts to Draya), a We Are Pop culture tank dress and Dorothy Wang (who stars on #RichKidsOfBeverlyHills) sunglasses for a day out at the beach.

And look…she met a new friend. While catching some waves, she met up with Valentino the Pup, a maltese living the life in Magic City, and brought him out for a swim.

After frolicking in the ocean with Valentino, she brought him back on the beach for some cuddle time. She captioned, “Made a new friend on the beach @valentinothepup so cute! We got in the water together and everything! He loved it!” Cute pup.

Earlier in the week, the “We Ain’t Worried” singer had social media and the Internet abuzz after she showed off her new tattoo. What did she get? She inked “love hard…T n T” as a tribute to her man Lil Wayne.

Janet Jackson and August Alsina just made major announcements on their Instagram pages.  Get the deets inside....

The rumors are confirmed.  To celebrate her birthday today, Miss Jackson announced that she's returning to music...this year! 

In a video posted to her brand new Instagram page and her other social media networks, Janet says, "I promised you would hear it from my lips..."

It also seems the #ConversationsInACafe hashtag Janet has been using on her social media relates to the new project (an album title maybe?).  Her producer Jimmy Jam has been using it often as well.  As for whether this project will have a home at Atlantic Records, time will tell....

Speaking of Insta announcements, August Alsina is definitely having bad luck when it comes to his health.  Eight months after waking up from a three day coma, the singer is suffering from another major health issue that is causing him to lose his sight.

He posted the above pic from his eye surgery and revealed:

So I have this eye disease.. Blind in my left, and losing vision in my right. In order to prevent my eyesight from deteriorating i had to do this surgery. This shit is beyond painful & Life be throwin' a nigxa curve balls but what I've gained from it all is priceless... A lot of things that are so natural to us in life (like waking up and being able to see ) we can take it for granted. Thank God the OG for allowing me to see.. The good the bad the ugly, I'm just glad to see.

The Carters have been working up a storm in NYC as of late.  The twosome were spotted for the second night in a row leaving their midtown office and then the recording studio.  Check out Beyoncé's neon hotness inside...

Mrs. Carter made Friday a colorful night as she and husband Jay Z made their rounds to an office in midtown and then to Studio Instrument Rentals (SIR) recording studio.

Rocking a neon orange skirt and neon pink top, topped off with royal blue Miu Miu shoes, Bey made her day a bright one once again.  She has been in an extra colorful mood lately after rocking the same colors on Thursday as well.

Jay rocked his Timbs and jeans as usual to the recording session. 

As for what these two are working on....we're guessing it's possibly that rumored duet album we've been hearing so much about.  Time will tell...

YBF chick Zoe Kravitz is taking over the Cannes Film Festival.  The Mad Max: Fury Road star posed it up in this super cute fuchsia printed top and skirt next to Julianne Moore and Salma Hayek at "The Art Of Behind The Scenes Jaeger-LeCoultre And Finch & Partners" party at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc yesterday.

Zoe has tons of projects coming up....and they are major.  While Insurgent is still basking in tons of profits in the theaters and Mad Max took over opening weekend this weekend, she's also starring in the upcoming movies Good Kill and Dope.

Mos Def was also spotted arriving at Cannes on Friday.  We can only hope he's getting his feet back into the acting pool.

And belle of the Cannes Film Festival Lupita Nyong'o is still slaying.  After her breathtaking grasshopper green Gucci dress number to her all white number, she was back in another twirl-worthy dress by Gucci for her parties last night.

She took a meeting at Diamonds Supply Co. for their Diamonds Women line.  Looks like she's creating something for the brand.  Anything that lets her flex in fields other than singing...we're all the way here for it.

In sad and shocking news, rapper Chinx, member of French Montana's "Coke Boys", was shot and killed in Queens, NY early this morning.  Chinx was also the rumored boyfriend of E! star Malika Haqq.  More details inside....

Chinx the rapper, who has been seen in plenty of social media pics partying with his longtime friend and fellow Coke Boys rapper French Montana (pictured with him below), has sadly died in a violent incident.

The Far Rockaway native was in Queens, NY early this morning when a shooting claimed his life and critically injured another person.

NY's Pix 11 News reports:

A shooting in Queens killed 31-year-old rapper Lionel “Chinx” Pickens and critically injured another early Sunday, police said.

Police responded to a 911 call in Briarwood around 4 a.m., where they found the two victims in a Porsche on Queens Boulevard and 84th Drive. Pickens was transported to Jamaica Medical Center with gunshot wounds to his torso, where he was pronounced dead.

Interestingly, around 2am this morning -- just a couple hours before the shooting -- Chinx posted the below pic to his Instagram page during a show he performed at:

Shortly after, as he and a friend were driving in Chinx's Porsche, another car pulled up and fired shots into the vehicle.

Chinx's management team and publicist posted the below statement:

It is with a heavy heart that The Legion Media Group and 4 Kings Management announce the passing of Lionel "Chinx" Pickens this morning. He was 31.

Few details are available about his passing but his management confirmed his passing this morning. The rapper from Queens, New York was a member of French Montana's Coke Boys.

Chinx's dedication, humor and vision will always be remembered "Chinx was one of the most talented, professional, and determined rappers this industry had to offer," said Publicist Chanel Rae, "Further more, he was a friend." #RIPChinx #teamLegion

While his good friend French Montana has been romantically linked to Khloe Kardashian, Chinx and Khloe's bestie, Malika Haqq, also began dating recently.  The twosome often posted pics with and of each other:
