Jay's B-Sides concert, live streamed on TIDAL, went down in NYC yesterday and the Tidal subscribers in the crowd got plenty of surprises, including Jay Electronica and Beanie Sigel. 

Mr. Carter had the crowd on 100 the whole time.  And ish reached a fever pitch level once he reunited with Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek and the rest of the crew:

Beyoncé made a Humanitarian mission trip to Haiti yesterday.  Check the pics inside of the Pop Queen bringing more sunshine to the island....  

Beyoncé was on a Bey Good mission with the United Nations yesterday as she arrived in Haiti to visit with the people and bring a little do-gooder action to the island.  Haiti is still recovering from the mass damage and casualties from the 2012 earthquake.  So a humanitarian trip from one of the biggest stars in the world, who likely brought necessary goods and resources along with her, is always a good thing.

And if you're wondering what Beyonce and her husband are giving back right here in the United States, journalist and author (and Jay's long time friend) Dream Hampton opened up this morning about what The Carters have been doing.  And Dream doesn't care if the couple, who asks folks to stay quiet about how much money they give, gets mad about it.

Celebs hit the stage and audience for the sold out Pepsi Funkfest this weekend in Atlanta.  Check out a few folks we haven't seen in a while (like Total), plus Erykah Badu, Demetria McKinney and more inside....

At the Wolfcreek Amphitheater in the ATL, R&B folks and a rapper or two took the stage to rock out for the fans both Friday and Saturday for the Fest that's all about celebrating old school music meeting new school.

Erykah Badu was one of the major acts and she didn't disappoint with that overwhelmingly big hair we love and her "shady" appearance.  Y'all know she loves a good face-cover:

Marsha Ambrosius and Natalie Stewart of Floetry took the stage early to perform their hits.

And our fave 90's group Total reunited (without Keisha Epps) to bring the hits we grew up on.

Keri Hilson caught up with R.Kelly Friday night and he also hit the stage for the crowd.

Uncle Luke brought the Miami crunkness and a few outfit changes on Friday as well.

"RHOA" star and actress Demetria McKinney is still chasing her dreams of being a singing star.  She hit the stage to perform...

And her co-star Kandi Burruss was there to cheer her on.  Kandi, who celebrates her birthday today, said:

Last night, the stars were out in Hollywood at PowerHouse LA.  Get the full show with Kanye West, Yazz, Ludacris and more, plus snippets and pics inside...

"Empire"'s Bryshere Gray, who goes by Yazz when he's spitting bars, took the stage at the Honda Center for PowerHouse LA 2015.  Dude stripped off his shirt and rocked the stage in front of tons of fans.

The headliner for the night, Kanye West, snapped a pic before he took the stage and got a little emotional.

With his wife Kim K. and the rest of the Kardashian clan in the crowd, 'Ye teared up and had a rough time getting through his "Only One" song he wrote for his daughter Nori and late mother Donda West.

Dr. West (apparently we can call him that now that he's received an honorary doctorate) pulled it together and worked it out.  Peep the clips at the end of this post.

While rapper B.o.B. took the stage, his girlfriend Sevyn Streeter was in the audience being his biggest fan.  After he brought her out on stage to dance with him, she snapped a pic backstage with fab chick Lauren London:

Tonight, celebs took over the Billboard Music Awards red carpet in Las Vegas.  And they definitely rolled the dice on a few risky looks.  Decide if the bets paid off inside....

"Empire" star Taraji P. Henson marched into the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas and took that ish over in this fresh off the runway Alexandre Vauthier cutout gown.

Topped off with perfect hair and makeup, she took "Cookie" up a notch and let her tatts shine through this priceless runway look.  And she made it work.

Jussie Smollett & Yazz (Bryshere Gray) lit up the carpet with Estelle before the trio performed a medley of hits from the "Empire" soundtrack.

Estelle went chic in a custom black and sheer Galia Lahav gown.  Definitely a risk...but it seems to have paid off.  Loving this bone straight highlighted hair on her as well.

The Legends (well, The Stephenses) are having a hell of a night.  John Legend performed with Meghan Trainor and copped at least one award so far, while his wife Chrissy Teigen showed up in a hot Balmain striped jumpsuit to co-host the Awards alongside Ludacris.

Speaking of risky moves...

Zendaya loves to play with fashion...and these BBMAs are no different.  In a multi-print zebra and graphic print bralette, pant and matching blazer....all topped off with coral embellishments and sky blue pumps, Zendaya gave us a feast for the eyes.  But whether the feast tasted bad or good...we're still trying to decide.  Thoughts?

Jennifer Lopez knows what works...and she sticks to it.

The Home star showed up in a sheer and sparkling Charbel Zoe Couture gown with that sultry hair and makeup that we love.  While it's not her usual Zuhair Murad moment....she's flossing that flawless body the same way.

OITNB star Laverne Cox rocked a custom Marc Bouwer dress and silver pumps for the big night.

Mariah Carey took a break from her Vegas residency to scoot over to the Billboard Awards to reclaim her Queen of the Billboard title.  She hadn't touched the BBMAs stage in 17 years before tonight...but she still holds the title with the most Billboard hits.

She gave a taste of her concert she's been performing during her residency, and we were feeling it.

Iggy Azalea won the Best Rap Song Award tonight for "Fancy," but first, she hit the carpet with her boyfriend, Lakers baller Nick Young. 

While chatting with E! on the carpet, she revealed she's currently going through a total image overhaul.  We guess that's why she told Guiliana Rancic she couldn't pronounce the name of the designer she's wearing and didn't even try.  Oh, and does that explain why she allegedly had a little work done to her face?  ALLEGEDLY.  Catch that tea HERE.

Tracee Ellis Ross pulled a full leather one piece out of her closet for Vegas....and it worked.  No matter how hot (both temp wise and looks wise) she appeared.

The fellas made their presence known as well:

Chris Brown showed up tardy to the party with baby girl Royalty in tow.  It seems he wants you all to know he's a changed man now that he's a dad...

Wiz Khalifa showed up looking like he actually bathed and put some thought into his tailored look before he took the stage to perform a couple times.

"Power" starand Executive Producer 50 Cent hit the carpet in an ombré suit jacket by Neil Barrett and Giorgio Armani shoes.

Host Ludacris kept it sharp in a tux.

Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rusteing showed up with his two fave girls--models Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner.  They're both wearing the brand, of course.  But they also announced that a Balmain x H&M collaboration is coming soon.  Get those credit cards ready!

Wiz Khalifa hit the stage twice at Sunday night's 2015 Billboard Music Awards.  And yes, he actually looked more alert and less smoked out than usual.  This doesn't necessarily mean that he actually was those things, but he served up watchable performances.  Check 'em inside, plus John Legend's performance with Meghan Trainor...

After joining Fall Out Boy on their "Uma Thurman" track, Wiz Khalifa performed his hit song "See You Again" from the Fast 7 soundtrack.

Mariah Carey wants you to know....her voice is back!  And chick is serving.  Check out her performance at Sunday night's 2015 Billboard Music Awards inside...

While Mariah is in Las Vegas for her residency at Ceaser's Palace, she slid over to the MGM Grand to rock the Billboard Awards stage.  She still holds the title as Queen of Billboard, so it's only right she hits the stage again...for the first time in 17 years.

"Empire" stars Jussie Smollett & Bryshere Y. Gray (Yazz The Greatest) performed at Sunday night's Billboard Awards.  After being introduced by their TV mom Taraji P. Henson, Jussie performed "Conqueror" with Estelle:

And his TV brother Yazz took the stage to rock "You're So Beautiful":

Later, Chris Brown added his skills to Pitbull's "Fun" record and performance from his Globalization album. 

Breezy rocked a satin red suit and did what he does best:

The rappers wrapped up the 2015 Billboard Music Awards with a couple of interesting performances.  Nicki Minaj gave a double dose of pop-rap, while almost all of Kanye's performance was bleeped out.

Nicki Minaj skipped the red carpet, but made sure her presence was known on stage.  She kicked off her BBMAs set with The Pinkprint's "The Night Is Still Young."

She then continued on with her and David Guetta's track "Hey Mama."  The official video also just dropped, and it's below:

Kanye closed out the show with a head scratching performance.

Oddly, most of the performance was muted out...for either sensoring purposes or sound issues.  Something tells us it's the former.

Sunday afternoon, music mogul Sean Combs was spotted in Woodland Hills, CA playing soccer with his son Christian.

It was an exciting weekend for the Combs men as 16-year-old Christian attended his prom. 

On Instagram, Christian told his 375K followers that girlfriend Breah Hicks"..is the definition of perfection."

The lovebirds obviously had a wonderful night, with Breah gushing "Sooo thankful to have met @kingcombs , someone who loves me unconditionally. you are my everything."

And Diddy was one proud poppa,  He posted a fun clips of himself giving some "man-to-man" advice to to Christian.

Sunday afternoon in Van Nuys, California...

Guardians Of The Galaxy star Zoe Saldana and her hubby Marco Perego headed to Babies R Us to pick up a few toys and other goodies for their twin boys Cy and Bowie.

Zoe, who showed off her post-baby body in tight blue skinny leg jeans and a black cardigan, went make-up free for the toy store excursion.

Recently, Zoe opened up about her post-pregnancy journey on Facebook, revealing that the physical changes were very challenging,

"As you all know, we welcomed twin boys last November. Yes, by far, the most amazing experience of my life, but also a very challenging experience when it pertains to my body.  Your body changes dramatically, inside and out. You grow in places you never knew you could, and you are tired beyond belief... but I know it is important as a woman, and now a mommy, to not give up."

In addition to the physical demands of her upcoming crime drama Live By Night with Ben Affleck, Zoe explained to fans that she's losing weight to create a healthy lifestyle for her family. "It is about being healthy, feeling healthy, for the rest of my life. What I am trying to do for myself and my family is create a healthy lifestyle that I can live by everyday. I want it to become second nature to us."

Jay Z returned to the stage last night for his 2nd B-Sides concert for his beloved TIDAL subscribers. His wife Beyonce and Rihanna skipped out on the BBMAs to attend. Also, LaLa & Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade were in the building. More inside….

While the 2015 Billboard Music Awards went down in Las Vegas, Jay Z hit the stage for the second show of his B-Sides concert exclusively tailored for TIDAL subscribers at Terminal 5 in NYC.  

Following an epic State Property reunion the night before, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, Freeway, Neef and crew all reunited once again to rock the house for a second time.

After news of “Coke Boy” rapper Chinx Drugz being gunned down in Queens early Sunday morning, Hov decided to switch up his set a bit to include a tribute to the slain rapper. Jay paid tribute to Chinx reminding concertgoers that “we” (black people, men in particular) are under attack and that we have to protect our own. He said,

“A young man got killed in Queens. His name was Chinx. I think it’s real important for us…I can’t understand it. We are seriously under attack like never before. R.I.P. Chinx. And we still killing each other. We need to understand that we are kings and queens and we are under attack. A young man trying to make a way out of the hood, goes back to his hood….I mean we can’t have it both ways. People say ‘they left the hood and never want to come back’ and then when people go to the hood they get killed. We can’t have it both ways. We have to protect our own. And I know how situations are set up, I come from the same place y’all came from. I made it up out of here, so I know how hard it is. We have to take responsibility for the sh*t we doing. The statistics are against us. Let’s not make it harder on ourselves.”

Instead of getting all glammed up for the BBMAs, Beyonce was in attendance for her hubby’s B-Sides concert, rocking a sequined Chicago Bulls jersey and black leather skirt. She made a beeline to NYC after a humanitarian trip to Haiti.

ABC & Walt DIsney Studios hosted the Disney Media Distribution International Upfronts in Burbank, California over the weekend... 

Former "House of Lies" actress Nia Long was on hand to promote her series on the network, the TV remake of "Uncle Buck."  The new version will star funnyman Mike Epps as "Uncle Buck", and out -of-work man who moves in with his brother and sister-in-law to help keep an eye on their kids after the family's nanny quits. Nia and Mike will star alongside James Lesure, Iman Benson, Sayeed Shahidi, and Aalyrah Caldwell.

Kerry Washington, who stars in the network's hit series "Scandal", was on hand to celebrate the highly-rated season 4 finale, which aired last week.   

During a recent interview with PEOPLE, Kerry's co-star Scott Foley opened up about filming sex scenes with Kerry, who gave birth to daughter  Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha, last year.  "One of the craziest things while filming was trying to have a sex scene when Kerry was seven months pregnant. The director, this fantastic French director, Jeannot Szwarc, kept saying, 'Just get on top of her, and I'm going to shoot it.' And I was like, 'No, no, no I can't - she's got a baby in there!'

Viola Davis came out to support "HTGAWM", one of the network's greatest success stories.

In addition to her work on "HTGAWM", Viola has been tapped to star in an HBO miniseries about abolitionist Harriet Tubman.
The miniseries will be based on “Bound For The Promise Land” by historian Kate Clifford Larson.

Singer and actress Christina Milian was spotted in the press line too.  Christina is set to star in a new series with John Stamos named "Grandfathered" next fall and her E! docu-series "Christina Milian Turned Up" has been renewed for season 2.

A cause of death has not been released.  The sad news was reported by his agency, Symmetry, on Sunday morning. Their statement read, "It deeply saddens all of us to share with you that Adrian Robinson Jr. passed away last night at the age of 25. Adrian was a beloved father, son, brother, friend, and teammate." Story.

Busta Rhymes was all smiles as he posed it up alongside his eldest son T'ziah Wood-Smith after he earned his college degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Not only is T’ziah apart of the elite Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, he’s also a star on the Quinnipiac Bobcats basketball team.

“I must say this has 2 be 1 of the if not thee most proudest moments of my life as a man and as a father 2 see my oldest son @tdot25 graduate frm college 2day. For their newest installment titled “Only If For A Night,” Rih brings a dark fantasy world to life at the Palace of Versailles. The Bajan beauty models designs from the Esprit Dior Tokyo collection as she runs through the Hall of Mirrors and outside in the enchanting moonlit garden.

A new track “Only If For A Night” (produced by Midas) serves as the background music. And it will also appear as the opener to RiRi’s upcoming R8 album. Feels like we're another step closer to the R8 debut.

Ray J is back with a new banger, following his track “Bad Habit”. And on his newest musical offering, Ray joins forces with Young Money general Lil Wayne. On “Brown Sugar” the fellas sing and rap about their sensual bedroom antics. No word on if the track will appear on Ray’s upcoming Raydiation 2 album. The 2015 BET Awards nominations were released today with Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj leading the pack with six nominations.  See the full list inside and watch Taylor Swift's"Bad Blood" short film starring Kendrick Lamar, Sarayah, Zendaya and more.

Today, BET Networks announced the nominations for the "BET Awards" 2015. Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj lead nominees with an impressive tall of six nominations each. Chris Brown is nominated for ‘Best Male R&B/Pop Artist,’ 'Best Collaboration’, two nominations in the ‘Video of the Year’ category and the ‘Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award’.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is nominated ‘Best Collaboration,’ ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist,’ ‘Video of the Year,’ two nominations for ‘Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award’ and ‘Best Group’ as a member of Young Money. As usual, the "Female Hip Hop Artist" category is raising eyebrows. BWET rapper Azealia Banks was also nominated, but based on her tweets, she believes Nicki has already "OWNED" the category. She tweeted,

In new music videos...

During last night's 2015 Billboard Music Awards, Taylor Swift finally premiered her music video for "Bad Blood", a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar. The action-packed visual also stars "Empire" actress Serayah.

Directed by Joseph Kahn, the short film, stars an A-list cast of Taylor's real-life BFFs Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Jessica Alba, Lena Dunham, Ellie Goulding, and Hayley Williams.

Sarayah, who plays a character referred to as Dilemma, opened up to E! News about her casting in the video.

"I didn't know any of the girls before. [They were] all beautiful ladies and all very talented at what they do. I was just really thankful to be in the vicinity of them."

And don't forget, Sarayah makes her own music too. While describing her music, she told E!"It's going to be a mix between pop and R&B, which are my two favorite genres of music. They give you two different feels of emotion so I'm really excited for my fans to hear it."

Earlier today, Nicki Minaj "stopped the world" and released the visual for her club-banger Beyonce collab "Feelin Myself" from her album The Pinkprint.  The eye-popping clip debuted on TIDAL today, but if you haven't already forked over $9.99/$19.99, the best we can do is provide numerous stills and pics from the video - so you get the jist of what popped off.

The international superstars are clearly feeling themselves as they chow down on burgers, party at Coachella, have a water gun fight, twerk in the bathroom mirror, take a dip in a kiddie pool and Bey rocks a Chicago Bulls jersey swimsuit (similar to her sequined outfit from the B-sides concert).

There were two notable birthday celebrations in Atlanta last night.  Kandi Burruss hosted a viewing party for her show “Kandi’s Ski Trip,” where she also celebrated her 39th birthday. Also, former ATL mayor Andrew Young was treated to a birthday bash to ring in his 83rd birthday, with YBF folks like T.I., Keri Hilson, and Eudoxiee in attendance. Peep the party pics inside…

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss had plenty to celebrate last night. The singer/reality star gathered her family and friends at the Suite Lounge in Atlanta for two reasons: 1. To check out the premiere episode of her spin-off special “Kandi’s Ski Trip,” which debuted on BRAVO last night. 2. To ring in her 39th birthday!

Of course, her husband Todd Tucker was right by her side.

And so was her mother Mama Joyce styling in a floral jumpsuit.

“RHOA” cast mates Claudia Jordan, Cynthia Bailey and Demetria McKinney came out to show support and party it up.

Kandi’s friend and former Xscape band mate Tiny Harris was in the mix for the festivities.

Oh...and look who else showed up. Kandi’s bestie Phaedra Parks. Looks like they squashed their beef and are back on good terms. Well good for them.

Amid her relationship drama, Kenya Moore came out for a good time with her co-stars.

Kandi's friend Shekinah posed it up with Aunt Bertha.

Former "Cosby" star Keshia Knight Pulliam and "Atlanta Exes" star Monyetta Shaw came out to celebrate.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Rasheeda, also rocking florals, was all smiles. Her husband Kirk Frost was also in attendance.

"LAHH ATL" stars Lil Scrappy and Momma Dee were there to wish the birthday girl a Happy Birthday.

And the whole clan gathered for a group shot. Fun times.

Elsewhere in Atlanta....

While his wife Tiny partied with Kandi for her birthday, T.I. got dapper to attend former Atlanta mayor and U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young’s 83rd birthday bash at the MarriottMarquis Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Andrew also doubled the fun as he celebrated his birthday along with his Inaugural Andrew J. Young International Leadership Awards.

During the night, T.I. rubbed elbows with retired heavyweight boxing champ Evander Holyfield and funnyman Chris Tucker.

The beautiful Keri Hilson came out to salute the trailblazer for all of his accomplishments and to celebrate another year of life.

A very pregnant Eudoxiee, who's expecting her first child with husband Ludacris, was also in the mix.

Keri & Eudoxiee snapped it up throughout the event.

Fab directress Ava DuVernay came out to celebrate Andrew Young, snapping it up with the birthday boy, Chris Rock and Martin Luther King III (son of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.). The SELMA director was honored with an Andrew J. Young International Leadership Award. When accepting her award, she said, “He [Andrew] was really instrumental in the making of ‘Selma. I hope he really drinks in all the love and respect he receives."

We don’t see R&B crooner Lyfe Jennings much, but he stepped out last night with a lady on his arm.

FOX 5 News anchor Cynne Simpson shined in a yellow gown.

The man of the hour was accompanied by his lovely wife wife Carolyn Young, who serves as the Vice Chair of the Andrew J. Young Foundation. Aww....

And he also made his rounds to chop it up with Evander and friends throughout the evening.

T.I. took the podium to say a few words as they celebrated Andrew's birthday and honored the honorees.

And Chris and Cynne also took the stage to present. Fab times.

Dwyane Wade, his sister Tragil Wade and Holly Robinson Peete were honored at the 5th Annual Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation Gala over the weekend. Also, Tracee Ellis Ross aka "T-Murda" dishes on her rap career on “The Real.” More inside….

Over the weekend, the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation hosted their 5th annual gala held at the Hilton Chicago to help raise funds and recognize the do-gooders who work serving young adults through mentorship programs and camps. And Dwayne Wade was one of the evening’s honorees.

Thanks to over 400 supporters, Steve and Marjorie's charity raised more than $1 million to continue their philanthropic efforts.

Looking radiant in a green Black Halo gown and Jane Berg Collection jewels, honoree Holly Robinson Peete brought her son Rodney Jackson “RJ” Peete along as her date. RJ was tapped to make a speech about his mom before she accepted her award.

The Harveys hand selected four individuals who who exemplify the Foundation’s mission. And Holly was recognized for her non-profit HollyRod Foundation, co-founded by her husband Rodney Peete. The HollyRod Foundation is dedicated to providing medical, physical, and emotional support to individuals living with Parkinson's disease as well as families of children with autism, like her son RJ.

Things were a little different for this year’s event after Steve and MarjorieHarvey were not in attendance to host the event as they have in the past. “TODAY” co-host Tamron Hall and Steve’s twin daughter Karli Harvey (on the carpet with her fiancé Ben Raymond) had to step in to host the event due to a family emergency that occurred that day.

Marjorie’s 18-year-old daughter Lori was involved in a horseback riding accident where she was thrown off of her horse in Lexington, KY. The Harveys decided to be by their daughter’s bedside in the hospital where she’s receiving treatment. Luckily, Lori is expected to be ok and will make a full recovery. Good news.

D. Wade and his sister Tragil Wade were honored for their hard work and dedication to the Wade’s World Foundation. The Wade’s World Foundation provides support to community-based organizations that promote education, health and social skills for children in at-risk situations where Tragil serves as the foundation’s director.

The other honorees included Chairman, CEO and Chief Executive Officer of Ariel Investments John W. Rogers, Jr. and Chief Administrative Officer of The Coca-Cola Company Alex B. Cummings.

Soul songstress Ledisi closed the evening serenading the audience with her vocals.

On daytime television tomorrow...

“black•ish” stars Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson will appear on a new episode of “The Real” tomorrow where Tracee chops it up about her online persona, “T-Murda.”

After posting up videos of herself “rapping” the lyrics to some of today’s rap radio hits, TheYBF.com gave Tracee the moniker “T-Murda.” And now, everyone wants to know if her rap alter ego will release an album or a mixtape. Ha! Find out what she said and check out Tracee and Anthony discuss what it’s like working together below:

Mariah Carey appeared on "JKL" last night where she revisted her first #1 song, "Vision Of Love," and rocked her latest hit "Infinity."  Watch the performance inside and see twins Roc and Roe too... 

Mariah Carey and her world-famous legs were seen strutting into a taping at Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Los Angeles, California yesterday. The JKL appearance comes one day after Mariah's triumphant return to the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.

After a brief battle with Bronchitis a few days ago that forced her to cancel one of her Vegas shows, Mimi is back in fighting form.

While we're happy Mariah is back making music and doing what she does best, even EPIC Records boss LA Reid knows we'll never recapture the glory days of the 90s and early 2000s.  During a candid chat with Billboard, Mr. Reid admitted that Mariah might never have another #1 record....and that's ok.  And the reason is due to the current state of music:

""...To even be on the radio at this point in her career is a huge accomplishment, because radio doesn't cater to veteran artists or legends. Radio caters to in-the-moment stars. ... Nobody that put out records 25 years ago is going to have a No. 1. ...not anyone. So if she can get on the radio, we've done damn good. Would we like to have a No. 1? F-- yeah, I'm greedy. But it's not realistic."

While she may never hit the summit of the Hot 100, Mariah will always be #1 to Moroccan and Monroe, her adorable twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon. The tots were in tow to support Mommy during her performance.

ABT ballet dancer Misty Copeland was on “pointe” in pink while arriving at the American Ballet Theatre's 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Spring Gala held at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC yesterday. She also laced up her ballet shoes and graced the stage for a performance.

The ABT soloist’s name went down in the history books when she became the third African American female soloist at ABT in 2007 and is currently the only African-American woman in the company...and has been the only one for a decade. She’s also the first black woman to nab the lead in Swan Lake.

This year, the Under Armour spokeswoman landed the cover of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People, landing as the leader in the Pioneer category. Work Misty!

“Chicago Fire” actress Yaya Dacosta popped up on the carpet in a green Christian Siriano gown and shoes, a pink and green Fiona Kotur clutch and finished her look with Erica Courtney jewelry.

The WHITNEY star served up a few model posses then snapped a few flicks with her sister Djassi DaCosta Johnson. Coming down the pipeline...Yaya will star in the drama film Bolden!, also starring Chocolate City actor Robert Ri'chard, and it's expected to premiere this November. She's also starring in a crime thriller titled The Nice Guys set to hit theaters May 20, 2016.

Looks like Yaya is doing just fine after calling it quits with her husband of two years Joshua Bee Alafia. 

Former “The View” co-host Star Jones was also in attendance, turning heads in a royal blue gown. Fab times.

Rihanna kept it chill as she ran some errands in NYC yesterday afternoon. After partying at the VIP Room Sunday night, the “BBHMM” singer trekked to a dentist appointment to make sure she keeps her million dollar smile.

After her check-up, she met up with friends at a hotel and was spotted leaving with a red cup in her hand. Mmmhmm…what’s in that cup RiRi?

Yesterday, the 27-year-old singer’s Dior “Secret Garden IV” episode was released. And it’s HOT. Check it HERE if you missed.

Also in NYC....

OKC Thunder baller Russell Westbrook and his fiancée Nina Earl enjoyed a romantic lunch together outside of Bar Pitti in the West Village. Since the Thunder did not make this year’s playoffs, Russell has been getting in as much time as he can with his lady, wining and dining her on the east and west coast recently.

On top of spending QT with his soon-to-be wife, the eyewear and clothing designer recently released the Westbrook XO Barneys New York Spring 2015 Collection, which is the second installment in the duo’s design series.

His new collection will include sportswear, eyewear, footwear, luggage and more. There will also be limited edition pieces created created in partnership with Nike Jordan, Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, Naked and Famous, WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie, Selima Optique, Del Toro and Globe-Trotter.
