Jay-Z's Samsung deal--rumored to be worth $20 million--is officially official.  Tonight during the NBA Finals, Jay and Samsung aired the new 3 minute "Inside Magna Carta Holy Grail" commercial that took viewers inside the studio to see the makings of Jay's upcoming album. 

The rapper is seen & heard talking to superproducers Rick Rubin, Pharrell, Timbaland & Swizz Beatz about the inspiration behind the new project.  And he says he wants to create a revolution on the internet by writing new rules.  And he wants to start those new rules with his new album that's dropping on the 4th of July.

His first revolutionary idea:  Have Samsung purchase 1 million albums (if Soundscan counts these as valid then dude is already platinum).  Then get one million people to pay for an app so they can get an entire album for free.

Yep, Samsung users get the first exclusive bite at Jay's new project.  And it's all because the first 1 million Samsung users to download the "Magna Carta Holy Grail" app on June 24th and get the album for FREE on July 4th.  The rest of the world gets it three days later on the 7th.  All just in time for Jay's big stadium tour with Justin Timberlake kicking off July 17th.

So far, we've seen pics of Kendrick Lamar, Nas, the super producers above and more in the studio with Hov over the last few months.  So this album ought to be a good one.

Reginae Carter & her best friend Bria have been prepping for months for the release of their new fictional book--based on their own lives--about growing up in the spotlight.  And this weekend, the daughters of rapper Lil’ Wayne and Bryan “Birdman” Williams put on their new Cash money hats (they're the newest signees) to greet fans and sign copies of their book Paparazzi Princesses at Books and Books in Coral Gables.

Reggie Bush's new baby girl Briseis made her Instagram debut today.  The Lions Runningback and his fiance Lilit Agayan welcomed their first kiddie just a couple months ago.  And Reggie posted her ridiculously precious pic today saying, "Enjoying my first Father's Day with my family! #blessed."

And Kanye West just became a dad Saturday.  And his girlfriend Kim K.'s mom Kris Jenner tweeted a big CONGRATS message to him today.  Neither Kim nor Kanye have said a word on their social networks or websites. 

The baby was reportedly planned to be delivered by C-section on July 12th (likely planned on that day because it's also Kanye's late mother Donda's birthday).  But Kim had the baby several weeks early naturally--just days after Kanye was in Switzerland holding listening parties for his new Yeezus album.

And today, E! News, the home of the "Kardashians" reality show, reports that the baby girl is Kim's doppleganger:

"She has dark hair," their source says. "She looks just like Kim."

Sister Khloe Kardashian Odom tweeted about the "miracle baby" saying:

I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love....More info will come when the time is right! Thank you all for understanding! We love you all dearly! Overwhelmed with love right now

Meanwhile, Kanye had to skip his album release party in L.A. last night as his child coming into the world earlier than expected, the show still went on. 

In L.A., D.C. and other cities, Kanye's team went guerrilla style again and showcased a short film projected on tall buildings.  This time, it was an "American Psycho-style" short film that was loud & bloody.  And randomly starred Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend Scott Disick and Kim K.'s best friend Jonathan Cheban.

After a whirlwind of performing in umpteen cities and countries this last week, Solange was back home in BK on Sunday performing at the Northside Festival.

Ish just got real.  The newest development in what has to be the longest most drawn out divorce saga in NBA history is that Allen Iverson is being accused of kidnapping his own kids.  Check out the deets on Tawanna filing papers on his for never returning the kids to her care...

As we all know, Tawanna Iverson filed for divorce...again...from NBA veteran Allen Iverson and it became final this past February.  But the issue of custody of their several children was still a touchy subject.

Earlier this year, the judge in the Iverson's divorce case blasted Allen for being an alcoholic and bad parent.  So it's no surprise Tawanna received full custody and Allen only received visitation rights.

Clearly A.I. wasn't feeling this ish because he allegedly took the kids on a "family vacation"...and never returned them!

In legal docs just filed by ex-wife Tawanna, according to TMZ, she says Allen requested permission to take the kids (ages 3-16) to Charlotte, NC from May 22-May 26.  But on May 26th, Allen never returned!

Tawanna says she attempted to schedule an exchange of the kids in a neutral place on the 4th of June, but Allen never showed up.  Damn, so nan one of these teenagers have a cell phone to call their mama and tell her where they are?  Can't borrow one?  Hmm...

The ex Mrs. Iverson believes Allen is stashing the kids in a Sheraton hotel room in Georgia to keep them away from her.  And she believes he never took them to Charlotte at all!

Tawanna, who say shes extra concerned because he's an alcoholic who drinks around the kids, recently filed papers on Allen to get him sent to jail for failure to pay $40K in back child support.  Is it safe to assume he's doing some immature and ignorant payback?

Regardless of the reasoning, the court reportedly is looking for his ass and will be punishing him....likely with jail time.

Allen....return ya kids.

And love is surely in the air for the rapper, who plans to release his Hall Of Fame disc next month.  While he tweeted his appreciation for his father on Father's Day, his boo expressed her love for him with a tweet of her own.

It looks like the upcoming album may show a more affectionate side of the rapper now that he's in love with a successful actress.

Nene Leakes, who co-stars on "Glee" with Naya, offered her beauty and fashion expertise to Donald Trump and his Miss USA 2013 Pageant Sunday night. 

Nene, who met Mr. Trump when she starred on "Celebrity Apprentice," served as a judge for the pageant.

Nene's bestie, Cynthia Bailey--who's walked numerous catwalks herself, was there with her side pony to offer her friend some support.

And probably was there to drum up a little buzz for her relationship memoir with hubby Peter Thomas,  "Carry-on Baggage: Our Nonstop Flight".

"The Voice" correspondent Christina Milian walked the red carpet in a beautiful Michael Costello black gown and accessories from Cartier and YSL.

Over the weekend, T.I.'s cutie patootie daughter Deyjah turned 12-years-old with a fun-filled celebration attended by family and the OMG Girlz. See pics from the festivities inside...

T.I. and Miss Niko threw a cute party in Atlanta for their daughter Deyjah, who turned 12-years old.  She's growing up fast and is such a cutie.  And she's her mom's mini me.

T.I., who'll be hitting the road with Lil' Wayne and 2 Chainz this summer for theAmerica's Most Wanted Tour was front and center for his baby girl's bowling party. 

Miss Deyjah got tons of designer gifts and fancy handbags....but looks severly unimpressed.  Ha!

She had some fun with her brothers King, Messaiah & Domani and big sis Zonnique.

And in addition to being an accomplished ballerina, Deyjah was gifted a camera from T.I. and has been named the family's official photographer!  Cute.

Gotta love "The Family Hustle" fam.

And T.I. revealed to FreddyO that King and Domani are in the studio working on projects of their own.  Of course.

Deyjah's grandmother Violeta Morgan was there to wish her grandbaby a happy birthday.

"#Beautiful" singer, Mariah Carey, has revealed that her 15th studio album will be called The Art of Letting Go. The album will be available for all the lambs on July 23.  Mimi has been working on this project for a very long time (three years) and she over the weekend, she tweeted her followers about how personal it was for her to give it to the fans.  "Melancholic moment letting go of something this personal to me yet I couldn't be more excited to give three years of my soul to the fans."

And in celebration of Father's Day (atop), Mariah posted a picture in tribute to husband Nick Cannon with Dem Babies saying"Happy Father's Day everyone and especially to my amazing husband".

"Started From The Bottom" rapper Drake has announced that he'll be striking out across North America on a 41-city tour with Miguel and Future.  The tour, dubbed "WOULD YOU LIKE A TOUR?" will be in support of Drake's upcoming album NOTHING WAS THE SAME, which will come out later this year. The tour starts Wednesday, September 25th at Portland's Rose Garden Arena and tickets for the Live Nation produced tour go on sale beginning Friday, June 21st at LiveNation.com and Ticketmaster.com.

Every day is Father's Day for those men who put their kiddies first in their lives.   So actor Pooch Hall chatted exclusively with TheYBF.com about raising his three children (daughters Djanai and Djaeda; son Djordan) and the important role fathers play in family structure.  Find out what he said inside our post-Father's Day Monday and get the deets on his new Showtime series "Ray Donovan."

Actor Pooch Hall, who rose to fame on BET's "The Game" and is gearing up for a flashy new role in the upcoming Showtime series "Ray Donovan." According to the show's press release, Pooch plays Darryl, a young fighter who trains at a boxing gym owned by Ray Donovan's (Liev Schreiber) brother Terry (Eddie Marsan). One of the series' main plotlines revolves around the dynamics among the male characters, once it's discovered that Ray's father Mickey Donovan (Jon Voight), is also the biological father of Darryl.

With the dynamics of fatherhood running throughout his latest series, we chatted up Pooch about his thoughts on the best part about being a dad and moving on from "The Game" after some shady happenings:

On becoming a father:

I became a daddy to my younger brother - first.  When my parents were divorced, we lived with my dad.  And as an older brother, I had to help around the house.  I sorta assume the role while my dad was at work.  I had to hold it down.  To be honest, that was probably like my first taste of fatherhood.

On a father's role in the family:

I think a father is very imortant in the sense that he offers a male perspective and a male structure to the family household. I think it's important for a man to be in a child's life because he can touch on some things that moms may not be familiar.  That's why you have a mom and a dad.  I wish it was like that for a lot of familes.  Shout out to single moms.  

On leaving "The Game" due to BET allegedly having an issue with his new show:

My contract had ended and BET said, 'We're gonna get you on for season 6.'  I literally booked "Ray Donovan" a week out.  And when we were making my deal with Showtime, they knew how strong my fan based was so.....Showtime said you still can work over at "The Game."  And when I went back to BET with news and was like let's make this work, they didn't return my phone calls or emails.  Everyone was like why'd you'd leave "The Game" and I was like "I didn't leave."  It was hurtful.  I felt that we all made "The Game" what is it today."

Since departing "The Game", Pooch said he watched the first few episodes of the show (he was on the first few and he's still friendly with his former castmates) but is focusing his energy on "Ray Donovan".

TV News anchorman TJ Holmes and his wife Marliee have revealed pics of their adorable baby girl Sabine.  See the photos inside and see political strategist Valeisha Butterfield filming her upcoming reality show.

Earlier this year, we told you about former BET anchorman TJ Holmes and his gorgeous wife Marilee giving birth to a precious baby girl and now we have the first photos.  

For Father's Day, Marliee tweeted a few photos of her hubby TJ (atop) and their precious bundle of joy, Sabine.  She said, "Happy Father's Day...I will never grow tired of watching @tjholmes share moments with our daughter."

Congrats to the couple.  We're sure TJ is enjoying his time with Sabine as he plans his return to tv news.

It looks like Valeisha Butterfield Jones, the wife of Atlanta Hawks ballerDahntay Jones and WEEN co-founder & Chair, is heading to reality tv.  The former Obama Administration Campaign alum and political strategist appears to be shooting a DC-based reality show, which we suspect will have a political slant.

She posted pics on Instagram with her bff Kristi Henderson saying "#SetLife with my BFF @getkristiluv #Presidential #DC".  Though "official" details about the nature of the show have been kept closely guarded, we know Kristi works alongside Valeisha with WEEN.  

The "shoot" was completed over a five day period that Valeisha tweeted about.“@Yiddy5pt0: 5-day stint in DC, making some magic! cc: @valeisha @getkristiluv @teriarog” oh yea oh yea. Show time! @taras2cents"

The other women who participated in the project include Tara Wall, a former senior media adviser for the Mitt Romney campaign and Teria Rogers, a DC-based communications specialist.

Chad Ochocinco will be released from jail today.  Get the deets on his release inside and find out why rapper Chief Keef was locked up again.  

In sports news, ex-NFL football star Chad Johnson is being released from jail today, TMZ revealed. You'll recall that Chad slapped his lawyer's backside last week, and was given a 30-day sentence.

Earlier today, Chad apologized to Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh (who extended his probation by one month and let him out of jail). According to the Associated Press, Chad told the judge, 

"I just wanted to apologize for disrespecting the court last time. I apologize. I did have time to reflect on the mistakes I made in this courtroom."

We're sure after a week behind bars, we'll see a more subdued version of Chad Ochocinco.

And in other arrests....

Rapper Chief Keef is in jail today.....but it's not because of the speeding ticket that originally brought him to court. 

According to the Chicago Tribune, the rapper was busted for a misdemeanor trespassing charge, moments AFTER he pled guilty to speeding. Although details about the "new" arrest haven't been revealed, a Chicago police department rep offered “He’s still being processed.  I haven’t seen the paperwork.”

As far as today's "speeding" hearing went, the 17-year-old rapper was fined $531, put on probation for 18 months, ordered to perform 60 hours community service, and will undergo random drug testing. He must also complete eight hours of traffic school.

SMH.....we guess he won't be blazing up in any more online videos.

Chris Brown has delivered his anti-gang violence video, "They Don't Know" featuring Aaliyah. Watch the clip inside....

Chris Brown has offered up the second video from his forthcoming X disc, "They Don't Know".  Featuring the haunting vocals from Aaliyah, the "Boyz n The Hood" themed clip features Breezy uniting the Bloods and the Crips.  Shot in Compton, CA, the visual shows Chris dancing before movie projections of Aaliyah's "Try Again" video while attempting to make peace amongst the gangs in the neighborhood.

Chris begins the clip with a message to the viewer, "Every two hours in America today a child dies of a gunshot wound. Unity is what we are afraid of so fear is insanity, lets love each other."  On twitter, he expounded his message saying, "The new single is apart of my "UNITY CAMPAIGN" which encourages all races, genders, sexes, (everyone) gay or straight to love each other!"

In a coincidence we're sure isn't a coincidence, pics surfaced publicly today--just one day after Chad Johnsonwas released early from his 30 day jail stint after bad behavior in court--of Evelyn's head wounds after her domestic violence incident with Chad.

37-year-old Evelyn Lozada is busy gearing up for her new season of VH1's "Basketball Wives".  But her domestic violence incident from almost a year ago--last August--with her then-husband Chad Johnson has become front and center yet again.  All thanks to her bloody head wound pics being mysteriously "released" by TMZ.

During yesterday's hearing where Chad faced the judge to request an early release from his 30 day jail sentence due to his previous bad courtroom behavior, the judge commented that the head wound pics were "horrendous."

We're sure this will be Ev's talking point for all the promo rounds that are about to start for "BBW".  And we're also pretty sure they were mysteriously "released" since he got off easy yesterday after his most recent jail stint for bad courtroom behavior during probation.

Either way, the pics show the terribleness of the situation that happened between the former couple when Chad allegedly head butted Evelyn during an argument.

Maybe Ev can get some advice on how to handle this situation from her good friend Rihanna, whose pics of her post-domestic violence wounds were also released to the public by the same publication.

Allen Iverson appeared before a judge last week in response to his ex-wife Tawannaclaiming that he KIDNAPPED their 5 children and was holding them hostage in an Atlanta hotel room.

The story sounded suspicious, but very possible based on their recent custody drama, and now A.I. is speaking out...

Allen says he never kidnapped the kids.  He told the judge in a Fulton County court last Wednesday that Tawanna had full access to the chil'ren the entire time.  And Tawanna testified that just DIDN'T WANT TO drive the full 45 minutes to come pick them up.

Sigh.

Needless to say, the judge denied Tawanna's request to toss Allen in jail since the kids were not in danger and were not "kidnapped."  And the kids were returned to their mother right after the hearing.  And as of today, according to TMZ, the former couple have worked out some issues and now A.I. can have a bit of private time with the kids.

Sounds like there's some bitterness is prevalent in this divorce & custody drama.  And some trickery took place on Tawanna's end just to make Allen look bad to the court.  Y'all know there's certain chicks who STAY trying to get their man thrown in jail for some B.S. as payback.

The Smith family put their box-office woes behind them and headed to Hawaii for the week.  Check out the fam the at the airport after hitting the beach inside....

Although his film After Earthdidn't steal the box office the way he'd hoped, Will Smith was in good spirits as he unloaded his SUV over the weekend for a family trip as the entire Smith clan and friend were seen heading to LAX for a flight bound for Hawaii.

The family vacation was also a celebration for Big Willy, whom Jada considers one of the best dads in the world.  She tweeted, "I get to wake up next to one of the best daddies in the world. Happy Daddy Day, sweetie."

Once they landed in Hawaii.....

The family enjoyed a sporty vacay with surfing, golfing, and paddle-boarding.  Willow & Jaden's whole life seems to be a vacay.  Must be nice...

In between the waves, Willow tweeted a few words of wisdom, ""Life's A Wave. You Fall. Or you go with it. You can't fight it."

Willow posted about bonding with a few of the local residents who gifted her with a treat.  She said,"I get out the water from surfing and those 2 little boys come up to me and hand me a fish (it's in my hand) I hugged them both and said thank you."

Sweet.

And after several days of fun in the sun in Kauai, the fam headed back to LAX:

The Smith brothers (Trey and Jaden) looked relaxed and tanned after their family fun in the sun.

And Jaden literally rolled through the airport on a piece of luggage that doubled as a scooter.  Only this guy...

The 40/40 Club was on fire last night as owner Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce hosted the club's 10th Anniversary party.  And all their celebrity friends came out to celebrate.

T.I. & Tiny were amongst the celeb-filled guest list at last night's 40/40 Club 10th Anniversary party.  The rappers (who collaborated on "Swagga Like Us") and their wives toasted it up after a decade of keeping the doors open on the upscale sportsbar.

Beyonce shut it down as usual in this sexy Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 cut-out dress with sheer mini panels.  The revealing white look, which she pulls off effortlessly, was accessorized with a small necklace and a gold box clutch.  Hot.

The Mrs. showed off her curves while posing it up with her hubby and athletes Gino Smith and Roc Nation Sports signee Robinson Cano.

TIP snapped a pic with rapper TRAE The Truth.  Is there a reason he's trying to be Ol Dirty Bastard reincarnated?

Jay's homie Fabolous was there to support, along with his baby moms Emily Bustamante on his arm.

And Adrienne Bailon was there too....possibly avoiding pics with Fab since they're always accused of having something going on:

"The Real" co-host snapped a pic with her bestie Emily, labelmate Ravaughn and good friend Angie Martinez.

Jay kept it nice and tailored in his grey suit as he chatted it up with Robert Kraft (CEO of The Kraft Group) and owner of the New England Patriots.  And he chilled out with the homie Amar'e Stoudemire, who brought his wife Alexis out for a night out sans the new baby and kids:

Cute look for Alexis.  She rocked a vintage Chanel necklace to accent her Theory mini skirt and Dolce & Gabanna Marilyn Monroe shirt.  And she rocked it all with a pair of hot Roland Muret shoes.

Hot 97 host and "Gossip Game" co-star K.Foxx came out to party.

Angie Mar--who's been friends with Jay for years--and Maxwell posed for a pic.

Giants baller and Roc Nation Sports Agency client Victor Cruz was there to support the head honcho Jay.  He brought his girlfriend Elaina out for the party.

Jay's longtime friend, Yankees baseball player CC Sabathia, brought his wife Amber.  She kept it stylish in a Barbara Bui dress and jacket, a Chanel belt and her black sparkling Louboutins.

NYC club promoter Legendary Damon popped up for the event.

And the party just smelled like money as The Carters toasted it up with billionaire Robert Kraft and girlfriend, actress Ricki Lander.  At least we're assuming it did...

In the latest issue of "GQ" magazine, rapper Drake opens up about his feud with Chris Brown and reveals how he thinks it could take a turn for the worst!  Also, Idris Elba reveals a third poster from his upcoming Mandela biopic.  See the poster inside...

Canadian-born rapper Drake, who's set to embark on a 40+ city tour with Miguel and Future, covers the July 2013 issue of "GQ" where he dishes on his upcoming album, Nothing Was The Same, and the feud with Chris Brown.  In the article, he also talked about the advice he's received from Will Smith about love. He actually revealed that Will made him question his own thoughts about it.  

Who would have thought that the world's most emotional rapper had a thing or two to learn about love??!!  Here are the highlights:

On his feud with Chris Brown:

“I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name. I really don’t. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that’s not going to happen. I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down. It’s embarrassing, the amount of media coverage. Two rappers fighting over the woman. He’s not even a rapper, but still, it’s the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he’s made me the enemy, and that’s the way it’s gonna stay, I guess. If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly.”

On advice he received from Will Smith:

“I had lunch the other day with someone I extremely look up to. Okay – I had lunch with Will Smith, and listening to him talk, it made me think I don’t know what love is. He said something profound. He said love is when you become one and you need that person. It’s not about wanting anymore, you need that person. Hearing that, I don’t know if I’ve ever felt that way. I’ve held women in very high regard almost to the point where I felt like I needed them for a very long time, but I don’t know if I comprehend it yet, and I’m okay with that. I’ve made a lot of music about love being the only thing I’m missing. I think this is the first album I’ve made saying, I’m okay. I’m enjoying it right now. Maybe this is my time to grind it out, make a run for it and add some memories with my boys.”

On his future ambitions:

“I feel this great responsibility to see how far can we take it, how out of reach can I set that bar for whoever comes after. While I’m here, I’m gonna keep pushing that bar higher and higher up and make you really work for it.”

And at the movies.....

A few weeks ago, we told you about Idris Elba's starring role in Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Directed by Justin Chadwick, the film follows the life of Nelson Mandela from his childhood in a small village to becoming the President of the South Africa.

Now, Idris has revealed the movie's third poster.  ANd it's getting mixed reviews.  Also, Skyfall star Naomie Harris has been cast as Winnie Mandela. Fans can watch the film when it hits theaters on November 29.

Brandy was on full on mommy duty this week as she took the fam to Disneyland for daughter Sy'Rai's 11th birthday.  Check out the growing gal inside...

Sy'Rai (rocking braids), whose daddy is producer Robert Smith, had a Disney filled b-day this week when she turned 11 on Monday.  Mommy Brandy took her and her friends and fam to Disneyland and they were all spotted posing it up with Minnie Mouse.
 

Looks like Brandy was trying to be in disguise as well with all these clothes on.  She tweeted on Monday to her baby girl:

"Happy Birthday my sunshine Sy'rai!!! You have changed my life #angel #angel #angel #angel"

Sweet!  Brandy's in the midst of planning her wedding with fiance Ryan Press, who seems to already be taking on the role as stepdaddy to Sy'Rai based on the cutesy pics of the two that Brandy posts.  Sweet!

NY Knicks balled Amar'e Stoudemire showed off his newest baby boy (which makes their 4th child) on Father's Day.  He Instagrammed the above pic of himself grabing some kisses from the 2 month old and said, "FAITH. (Fathers Alive In The Hood). Blessed be the creator."
