As part of Lifetime's celebration of Black History Month, singer & "Braxton Family Values" star Toni Braxton stars in the original movie "Twist of Fate" with Mykelti Williamson, David Julian Hirsh and her real-life son Diezel.  Love seeing her doing things again in a non-reality capacity.  Here's a synopsis:

Jacob Fisher (Hirsh), an Orthodox Jewish Cantor and amateur songwriter who resides in Brooklyn, New York, witnesses the senseless murder of his wife and three children. Catatonic, Jacob walks out on his Jewish mourning ritual, leaving behind his Jewish garments, wallet and keys. Abandoning his identity, he wanders aimlessly, hoping somehow to understand his tragedy. Fortuitously, he lands in Brent, Alabama (population 2,500), where he is embraced by Nina (Braxton), a single mother and the lead singer of a small gospel choir (an unlikely finalist in the competition to determine the best gospel choir in Alabama), her Uncle Moe (Williamson) and their gospel community who help his return to life while music brings Nina and Jacob together as they try to make sense of his past and their possible future.

We've already shared photos from BTS of the Lifetime original movie "Betty & Coretta" starring Mary J. Blige and Angela Bassett and now, the channel has released a full trailer for the film which debuts Saturday, February 2 at 8/7c.  The movie follows Mary and Angela in the roles of Dr. Betty Shabazz and Coretta Scott King as they continue their lives as single mothers, after their husbands (Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr.) were assassinated.

As the first anniversary of Whitney Houston's sudden death draws near, Oprah sat down with Cissy Houston in her New Jersey home for her first in-depth, sit-down interview since her daughter's passing.  She discusses her thoughts about Bobby Brown, the rumors of Whitney's lesbian affair with Robyn Crawford,  and her biggest regrets. Also, she is joined by Whitney's brother Michael and they both discuss the origin of Whitney's drug use.

1.  "The Best Man" cast is reuniting for a sequel.  Story.

Bow Wow is blasting his former SO SO DEF label mate Kandi Burruss for being too busy to show any love to Jermaine Dupri during the label's 20th Anniversary. Find out what he said about her ego inside....

Previously, we told you about Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records being honored in Atlanta for it's 20-Year Anniversary (above) and their huge So So Def All-Star Anniversary Concert on February 23 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta.

And while many of the label's stars will make appearances on the stage, perhaps the most popular former member of the family, Kandi Burruss, is simply too busy to attend.

Since leaving the group Xscape, Kandi has gone on to make a name for herself as a songwriter, reality tv-star and sex toy empire queen...so she is a little busy (she's kicking off her Ladies Night tour the same night as the concert).

But Bow Wow, who now hosts BET's "106 & Park" felt that she should have penciled the So So Def Anniversary in....since it did put her on the map. He posted to Facebook,

"JD likes to keep quiet but... Yo Kandi is wack for not wanting to show up for jd for "20th anniversary so so def show" put ego to the side and give the fans what they want and understand w/ out jd know one would even know who you are. You aint Michael, this aint the Jackson 5. She act'n like she booked out like she too busy! Better yet dont come. The ones thats there are the ones who really got live for JD and the history if the label."

We understand Bow Wow venting his frustration (and letting us know that JD is hurt), but, does Kandi really really have to cancel her pre-scheduled money to appear at the show?  Maybe she already sent a Thank You and Congrats card.

Maybe there is a back story that we don't know about because Kandi has made it clear on several occasions (most recently on Bravo's "WWHL") that there will NEVER be an Xscape reunion. Maybe she feels like she's been hurt too.  We all know what went down between her and JD and other SoSoDef producers.  Sexcapades always mess up business....

The "Suit & Tie" video shoot is officially underway in L.A.  And since it does rain in southern California sometimes, Jay & JT joked around holding up an umbrella to keep them dry as they walked back to the trailers.

The married fellas were decked out in their tuxes for the occasion, of course.  And it looks like they're about to make some classic footage for the first track off Justin's upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience, dropping March 19th.  Can't wait!

Kim K. threw on a feathered white dress and black ankle strap heels (we're guessing this was Kanye's pick) to shop away her troubles going on back home.  While her stepmother Ellen Kardashianhas released Kim's father Rob Kardashian's alleged diaries that reveal Kris Jenner's abuse on Kim and cheating ways, the Kardashian kids are pissed.  At least on Twitter they are.  While the fam is disclaiming the authenticity of the diaries and seem so upset by it, Kim was spotted laughing it up with her boyfriend Kanye in Paris.

He paraded her around their fave spots--Hermes, Cartier, Lanvin and Ermanno Scervin--to pick up some new additions to their wardrobe.

Kanye previously bought his baby mama 5 Cartier bracelets that she showed off to her Twitter followers yesterday:

Well isn't that special.  We can say we're loving the smile 'Ye has on his face.  And since Kris Humphrieshas said once again he does not plan on agreeing to the divorce until Kim fesses up that she faked the marriage, this might be as close as Kim & Kanye are going to get for a while.

1.  Katt Williams finally catches a break...his child endangerment case has fallen apart.  STORY

Oh, to be a fly on THAT billion dollar wall.  Nasty Nas may be making some serious social media moves after pics surfaced from a random yet intriguing dinner last night with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg & MAJOR investor Ben Horowitz.

Check out what the trio was up to inside...

39-year-old "The Don" rapper Nas broke bread last night with a couple of the most powerful men in the tech game--28-year-old billionaire CEO Mark Zuckerberg (with his wife Priscilla) and 46-year-old hi-tech entrepreneur/billionaire venture capitalist Ben Horowitz. 

And if you're wining and dining with billionaires, we can only assume (at least we HOPE) that at least one person was talking money at that table.

Pics surfaced on Instagram from a private dinner that took place last night with the interesting trio.  Details of their convo have yet to be released, but we do conclude it has something to do with Nas' involvement in Facebook, which Mark owns and Ben has invested in via his filthy rich firm Andreessen Horowitz.

Another random fact we've noticed, Ben has often referenced on his Twitter account his recent investment in the hip hop lyric decoder site Rap Genius.  He posted an article about how the sensemaking of internet information--i.e. rap lyrics (like the Rap Genius site)--is one of his firm's investment focuses.  Interestingly, Ben posted a pic with Nas at a Rap Genius function last July.  So the two are not total strangers.

Also, Ben already has a close relationship with Jay-Z & Steve Stoute.  So he's not a complete stranger to the hip hop world.

Will Nas be investing some dollars of his own into Facebook, Inc?  Is he cutting some type of major money making social media deal with the head honchos?  Or both?

Time will tell, but we're guessing Mr. Jones is gearing up to cash out on a deal either way....

Atlanta saw a star studded red carpet at last night's 2013 Trumpet Awards.  YBF celebs like Fantasia, Eva Marcille, Tika Sumpter and more put on their Saturday best to impress the masses.  And they didn't disappoint (well, not everyone did). We've got the pics inside....

Photographer Paras Griffin caught celebs making their red carpet appearance at last night's Trumpet Awards at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

And we're pleasantly surprised to see Fantasia looking amazing in this Ralph Lauren stark white knee high slit column gown with a subtle neck cut out.  And she paired it with white Giuseppe jeweled pumps. White is definitely her color as the singer accessorized with silver sparkling jewels on her wrist and on her earrings.  Great look for her.

And while Fanny showed off her fresh curves, "R&B Divas" star Nicci Gilbert also showed up in a blue longsleeved satin-like gown for the ocassion.

Model and reality starlet Eva Marcille worked the carpet in a slinky black long sleeved gown:

Apparently there's no parking at the studio as a big misunderstanding in an LA parking lot put both Chris Brown and Frank Ocean in the middle of a six-man fight. Deets inside...

Chris Brown might have been one of the few artists to speak nicely & publicly about Frank Ocean's "coming out" a few months ago, but no kind words were spoken yesterday in LA as the two men and their crews engaged in a nasty battle at the studio.

Though sources from both sides insist the "other" group started the fight, TMZ reports that Chris and his crew were leaving (or trying to leave) Westlake Studio when they were "blocked" by Frank and his friends. Allegedly, Frank (who's performing at the 2013 Grammys) said,"This is my studio, this is my parking spot."  What is this? You Got Served, the studio version?

One report says Chris tried to shake Frank's hand as a peace offering but someone from Frank's crew hit Chris. From there, one of Chris' friends hit the guy that attacked Chris and a fight between all of the men jumped off. During the brawl, Frank allegedly came at Chris and Chris responded by pushing him away.  And then they started brawling.

At least that's one way the story has been told....

Though we're sure Chris will say Frank started it and vice versa, LAPD is calling Frank "the victim" because he's the one who stayed around to talk to the cops (Chris left the scene).  Sigh.

As of now, no charges have been filed and there were no arrests...but the cops would like to talk to Chris.

SMH....And you might recall what happened the last time cops "talked" to Chris before the 2009 Grammys....

Though both artists are infamous for their Twitter rants, only Frank has spoken up about the fight where he says it will impact his Grammy performance.

By the way, Chris has a verbally violent history with Frank & Odd Future.  Guess this is what happens when people take Twitter to the streets.

*UPDATE* Chris was in the studio with his new artist Sevyn Streeter and Timbaland and several others around the time of the brawl.  He posted a pic of himself, Sevyn, singer Eric Bellinger, Mario, singer/producer RoccStar, and artist Sabrina Antoinette.
