1.  Taye Diggs scared off an intruder at his home late last night...by himself.  STORY

Well that's one way to kick off your 37th birthday.  Rapper Rick Ross was involved in a major shoot out just hours ago.  While riding in the passenger seat of his Rolls Royce, he was a victim of a drive by shooting and a subsequent crash into a building.  Deets inside....

Somebody has it OUT for Ricky Rozay!  Around 5am this morning, while leaving his own birthday party at LIV, Miami rapper Rick Ross was riding in the passenger seat of his silver Rolls Royce in Ft. Lauderdale when someone opened fire on the vehicle, the Huffington Post confirmed via Ft. Lauderdale Police. As his vehicle was getting sprayed with bullets, the Rolls crashed into a nearby apartment building around the busy Los Olas Avenue.

According to Ft. Lauderdale's 7 News station, who were on the scene at 4th St. and 15th Ave., police are still on the scene investigating. The manager of the nearby Floridian restaurant confirmed the car was shot at, and so was his restaurant.  Witnesses say there were up to 15 shots fired.

Ricky is believed to be inside said restaurant at this moment still speaking to police.  No word on if he suffered any injuries.

NBC Miami confirms that the shots indeed came from another vehicle, which signals this was a drive by.  No suspects have been named.

He talked about battling a home intruder saying,"There’s no telling what could have happened. He had bad intentions."

And when joined by wife, Simone, they both said they had an "awesome" marriage.  Next up for LL, he'll host host the Grammy Awards on February 10 and his Authentic Hip Hop, is due later this year.

NeNe Leakes is loving the Beverly Hills life.  And we can't even blame her.  Pics of the reality turned sitcom starlet hitting up a celebrity hotspot along with Lakers baller Ron Artest and his girlfriend inside...

In her ripped jeans and leather sleeved blazer, the soon to be MRS again NeNe Leakes was spotted hitting up Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills solo last night.  And as we've been seeing on this new season of "Ral Housewives of Atlanta," NeNe has no plans to make a total permanent move to LaLa Land.  But she's loving living in the Hollywood Hills while filming "The New Normal." 

And if you watched "RHOA" last night, you'll recall Phaedra Parks telling tales of knowing Heads of STate, Presidents of countries and Tyler Perry.  She was asking why fellow castmember Kenya Moore thought she was helping her out on that Donkey Booty DVD deal when Phaedra already "kones" people.  Nene tweeted:

And did anybody else see the recent Lifetime movie The Eleventh Hour when Ron had a sizable role in the Nancy Grace-written film?  Well he clearly still has the tv/acting bug as reportedly, he's prepping a new hidden camera game show about pranking people.  The CBS show will be all about Metta and other professional athletes pranking each other -- and their family members, friends, spouses and fans aren't off limits.

Washington Redskins baller Trent Williams returned to the mainlaind yesterday following an ill-fated trip to Honolulu where he was tasered during a nightclub brawl. Find out more inside...

Although he originally headed to Honolulu for the Pro Bowl, Washington Redskins lineman Trent Williams was sidelined this weekend following a nightclub brawl Friday night at "M Nightclub." He was tasered AND got smashed in the head with a champagne bottle!

Trent, who (above) was spotted wearing a bandage at the airport (he required 7 stitches and underwent concussion testing) didn't get to play in the game on Sunday, but his prowess is now legendary as reports say he NEVER went down during the fight!  Because that's what really matters apparently...

One witness told ESPN, "It was like he was Jason on 'Friday the 13th' — man just wouldn't go down."

For now, one man has been arrested and five others are being investigated for the assault.

We're all about good music.  And Jon B. has dropped another track off his upcoming B Sides Collection album with new and unreleased tracks.  Check out "Back 2 Love" inside...

Looks like Cali native Jon B. is serious about his comeback tip.  With another new release, "Back 2 Love," he's breaking out the ballads he's known for.  

The 38-year-old originally wrote and recorded the track in 2004 for his Stronger Everyday Album and revamped it to bring it up to date yet still has that classic R&B feel.

And we think this gig may be Marcel's way of breaking into the real world and paying for college as Taraji revealed to Jimmy Fallon last year that she wants Marcel to sit out of college for a semester and learn what it's like in the real world.  She said,

"Even though he is privileged, he doesn't remember the bad times when we were eating Hamburger Helper and peanut butter and jelly for dessert. He remembers all the good times and I don't want to raise this privileged kid, who's out of touch, so I made him sit out the first semester and he has to get a job. He called his grandmother, he was like, 'It's hard out here, it's hard to find a job.' So I was like, 'Yeah, I need you to know that.'"

"I need him to see how real it is out here. It builds character. I told him, 'College is like an investment. I'm investing my money in your future, and if I feel like you're a bad investment, I'm taking my money back."

Michelle Williams recently hinted that the rumored Destiny's Child reunion at the Superbowl isn't happening.  Or did she?  Deets inside, and how she mysteriously freed up her schedule Superbowl Sunday...

Singer and 1/3 o Destiny's Child, Michelle Williams, has been answering the burning questions of reporters for the last 2 weeks about D-Child's rumored reunion at Sunday's SuperBowl.

While reports allege Beyonce will be bringing her former groupmates into her big halftime performance in some way, Michelle gives a vague denial when asked by WRUG radio:

"It is rumored.  I'm gonna be in the musical Fela! I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true."

So was she denying it....or just changing the subject to the fact she's going to be in the upcoming tour of FELA!?  Some think it's a denial, but we're not 100% sure. 

It's also interesting that the FELA! site for the D.C. performance says specifically today that Michelle will not be performing in the FELA! production January 31st-February 3rd. 

SuperBowl Sunday is February 3rd.  Hmmmm....

And last night on "RHOA" Porsha revealed that she can sing.Of c ourse she did.  Well.....she said she's a cross between Beyonce and Mary J. Blige with a little Rihanna. So that means she sounds a conglomerate mess. To quote Phaedra, something in the water ain't right.

Also, Porsha engaged in ANOTHER epic battle of the wits with Miss USA Kenya Moore last night where she accused the beauty queen of having ashy feet, and refused to take sides in the Phaedra vs. Kenya war.

Inside, she talked about her weight loss and image upgrade saying,

Miami Dolphins baller Reggie Bush was spotted taking his very pregnant girlfriend, Lilit Avagyan, around L.A.  Pics of the twosome cuddled up and bumping around inside...

Reggie treated the mother of his kid-on-the-way to a little shopping spree on Robertson Blvd. this weekend.  Lilit's reportedly about 7 months along as she rocked her leggings and sneakers and a comfy sweater for the outing.  So the twosome just have a little while longer before this baby pops out.

Maybe Lilit will send Reggie's ex Kim K. some pregnancy advice since she's further along.  Or not.

Before the ish hit the fan with Chris Brown int he wee hours of this morning, Grammy-nominated singer Frank Ocean found time to shoot a video for his controversial 'coming out' song "Forrest Gump."

Shot at an undisclosed location, the song appears on his Channel Orange disc. And we have a feeling this video could cause more talk than his and Breezy's brawl.

Mr. Ocean will hit the stage at the Grammys on Feb. 19th where he's been nominated for Album of the Year, Record of The Year/"Thinkin' Bout You", Best New Artist, Best Collabo with Kanye & Jay for "No Church In The Wild", and Best Urban Contemporary Album.  Hopefully he goes home with at least one award....

Looks like the Travelzoo site, who is doing official promotions for the FELA! production Michelle Williams is starring in, has spilled the beans.  A D-Child Superbowl reunion confirmation inside....

Interesting.  When members try to purchase tickets via Travelzoo to the FELA! production in D.C., a little message pops up.

While Michelle Williams is now starring in the production, and will be in D.C. for Tuesday's and Wednesday's shows, she won't be there from the 31st-Feb. 3rd, as we previously reported.

Now, a Travelzoo message says specifically it's due to the Destiny's Child Super Bowl performance.

There have been rumors back and forth for the last week saying that Michelle may have denied the reunion was happening.  But in case you needed any extra proof Kelly, Michelle& Beyonce will be busting out their old "Say My Name" moves....you've got your answer.

One basketball widow's draw-dropping tales of excess could have cost her four kids their future financial stability now that it's been disclosed that she spent $1M in less than a year.

Former NBA player Lorenzen Wright signed a $1 Million life insurance policy in 2010 after before he filed for divorce from Sherra Wright, hoping that his kids would be taken care of if he died. Unfortunately....he was found dead five months after the policy went into effect.  Interesting timing.

Now you might think Sherra would save money for her kids' college funds or perhaps save some of the $1M for the future....but no. She didn't. In fact, reports by commercialappeal.com say most of the money was gone within 10 months.

So how do you spend away your kid's future and dead ex-husband's legacy?  Here's some of the expenses:

$26,000 on a Lexus
$32,000 on a Cadillac Escalade
$69,000 on furniture
$11,750 for a trip to New York
$339,000 to buy a new home and renovate

In other foolish sports news......

Kwame Harris, a free agent who has played for the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders, was involuntarily "outed" today when he appeared in San Mateo County Superior Court today on charges he assaulted his ex-boyfriend when an argument over soy sauce went too far!

Kwame is being sued by his former lover Dimitri Geier civilly for assault, battery, false imprisonment, negligence and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

According to the San mateo County news, it all stems from a dinner the two had on August 21, 2012 at a Menlo Park restaurant when Dimitri poured soy sauce over a plate of rice.

For some reason, this didn't sit too well with Kwame and they began to argue for seven minutes. The pair had long since broken up but clearly had been holding on to a few issues. After the argument, Kwame, who had previously agreed to drive Dimitri to the airport, decided a cab would be a better option.

While they were removing Dimitri's clothes from Kwame's car, Kwame accused Dimitri of stealing his underwear, so he tried to pull D's pants down. Because of this, Dimitri reportedly struck Kwame three times in the face but that only unleased Kwame's anger and Dimitri ended up at the hospital "having surgery to repair broken orbital bones and required a metal plate to repair the damage."

Though Dimitri threw the first punch, he is considered the victim because he was the most badly injured.  Kwame's attorney Alin Clintean feels he will be vindicated saying, “This really is a pure self-defense case. He was attacked. He was in fear of his life and his physical well-being."

Kwame is now free from custody on $75,000 bail but faces up to 7 years in jail if convicted.

SMH....what's up with the soy sauce anger though?  He was REAL mad.

The Miami Heat ballers finally got their Presidential celebration today at the White House for being the 2012 NBA Champions.  Check out pics of the Heat, their wives and girlfriends, and President Obama chillin' in D.C....

LeBron, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Mario Chalmers, Juwan Howard and all the rest of the team got to meet up with basketball fan President Barack Obama today at the White House.  It's tradition that professional athlete teams who win championships get recognition from the President.  So today was their big day.

Dwyane brought girlfriend Gabrielle Union along.  And she looked fab in grey.

The players like Ray Allen and Mr. Wade got to meet the President, who praised them for their win and their work with military families.

And Bron Bron presented Mr. President with a ball signed by the entire team.  Nice!

While rumors swirl about one of Future's alleged baby mama's Brittani, he's just been 100% confirmed to be the father of another kid from a different woman.  Deets inside...

A woman claiming that "Same Damn Time" rapper Future is the father of her 10 year old son just got the results of a paternity test.  And TMZ reports Mr. Nayvadius Cash (yep, that's his government name) is now legally the father of Jessica Smith's son.

Jessica sued him in Georgia last year for child support, and now that he's taken the paternity test, it's clear he's the father.

Future has agreed to fork over $1,662 in child support per month and pay for the cost of the $889 DNA test.

So will Brittani, who has been tweeting up a storm blasting Future for fathering her 2 month old baby, go down the same paternity route soon?

Either way...Ciara...good luck with this.

Chris Brown is speaking out--somewhat--about Sunday's fight with Frank Ocean.  Check out why he feels persecuted and why he wants to talk to the cops....

Breezy posted the above pic of Jesus on the cross saying, "Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!"

He's clearly referencing the fact that many people have automatically blamed and attacked him for the incident with Frank Ocean.  And he hasn't even given his side of the story.

After an alleged witness told TMZ that Chris threw the first punch, law enforcement officials say the "Don't Judge Me" singer denies that  fact.  And maintains he did nothing wrong.  Apparently, Chris' lawyer Mark Geragos has already contacted law enforcement to set up a time for Chris to tell his side of the story to detectives.

Chris' legal team says Chris never threw a punch, and there's surveillance video to prove it.  Too bad the video only captures the last half of the fight that went down in the lobby of the Westlake Studio, as the beginning started int he parking lot and there are no cameras there.

Supposedly, the video they do have clears Frank Ocean as well, and shows only their cliques fighting each other.  Of course.

Time will tell....

The ATL took over Beverly Hills recently (or at least the hotspot Crustacean) as T.I. & Tiny were joined by Ciara & Future for an early meal.   See the photos inside....

Trouble Man rapper T.I. (whose disc is doing quite well on the charts) was spotted leaving Crustacean restaurant recently with his wife Tiny.  Both were looking laid back, cute and casual in sweatshirts and jeans.

After a successful first episode, VH1 has announced that Tiny and her co-hosts will return with a “Tiny Tonight” Valentine’s Day Special airing Monday, February 4th at 10 PM ET/PT.  We see she's repping her man's new album on her chest too...

The couple dined with Ciara and her own "troubled" man Future.  Future has been in and out of the headlines for baby daddy issues recently.  And Ciara obviously doesn't care.

The rapper recently became the father of a 10-year old boy (the paternity test came back positive!) and he's also beefing the the mother of his 2-month old.  There's so much trouble in the young rapper's personal life....but Ciara looks pretty happy clinging closely to his arm (despite being dragged into the mess on Twitter.

Rihanna put on her jetsetter fur to book it from L.A. to NYC this morning.  Pics of the fresh faced pop chick at JFK, plus a behind the scenes look at her collection for River Island....

Rih kept it glam yet casual as she arrived at JFK airport this morning in her J Brand 'Aiden' Boyfriend jeans, fur jacket & Timbaland boots.  Before hopping on the plane, she spent the last few weeks home in L.A. doing magazine shoots and campaigns.  For one in particular, she posted a pic of herself in only a towel saying:

Wonder what that's going to be about.

Meanwhile, her new line for the River Island clothing brand is on the way.  And she's released some behind the scenes video showing how she came up with the clothing and how she works with her models for the upcoming fashion show that will go down during London Fashion Week next month.  The line will officially go on sale March 5th, 2013.

Speaking about the London Fashion Week show, Rih Rih said to the Style Insider Blog:

Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me. I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can’t wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!

Malik Yoba plays Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the film.

Mary and Angela posed on the red carpet Lindsay Owen Pierre (who played Malcolm X),  Lifetime SVP Original Movies Tanya Lopez and producer Larry Sanitsky.

Mary J. Blige stopped by "106 & PARK" to promote the film and chat with hosts Bow Wow and Paigion.

Also, Mary revealed to Blackfilm.com that her next film will be Kasi Lemmons‘ musical ‘Black Nativity’ which also stars Angela Bassett.  She says about her role, “I play Platinum Fro and she’s an angel.”   Nice!

Both Angela and Mary appeared on "The View" recently and they discussed what they learned about the phenomenal women they played during the making of the film.  And yes, Angela confirms there IS a script for Waiting To Exhale 2.  But, she has no idea when/if it will be shot.
