Some of our YBF favs descended upon Atlanta this week to help Ludacris celebrate the 9th Annual Luda Day Weekend. See pics of Angela Simmons, Monyetta Shaw, Big Tigger, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Lance Gross, NeYo and many more inside. Plus, Ne Yo and Monyetta seem to still be pretty close these days....
It's that time of the year again...not Labor Day..it's LudaDay in Atlanta. The annual charity weekend is comprised of a series of events that raise money for The Ludacris Foundation( to further their commitments toward youth and the Atlanta community). Ne-Yo was spotted walking in with his mom Lorraine. His Compound Foundation was one of the weekend's biggest donors.
Among the Atlanta notables in the building for the Annual Charity Bowl Event were ex-couple Ne-Yo and "Atlanta Exes" star Monyetta Shaw. Fans of Monyetta's new show know that she and Ne-Yo still live together and are very serious about co-parenting and raising their kids in a healthy environment.
But...we're just saying...this looks like a bit more than co-parenting. It's great that they can "play" together.
Clothing designer and lifestyle blogger Angela Simmons came out to support Luda.
We all know that the Simmons family prides itself on philanthropic works (e.g. The Art For Life gala) and Angela is continuing down that road.
Keshia Knight Pulliam attended with her boo Big Tigger.
In addition to supporting Luda, Keshia does great things for youth in Atlanta with her Kamp Kizzy Foundation.
Actor/photographer Lance Gross took time to give back to the ATL community too. By the way, he recently signed on to start in the rom-com "BET On Love" with Brandy.
It looks like Walter Jackson's brief stint of RHOA as Kenya Moore alleged boyfriend is still getting him into all the right parties and events in Atlanta. And since Kenya's away in Puerto Rico....he showed up to the event to support. And it looks like he's trimmed down....looking good Walt!
We're impressed that with all of his success, Ludacris (above with Kenny Burns) is committed to bringing awareness of the struggles of under privileged teens to the forefront.
Luda chatted it up with Angela.
Dwight Howard, of the Houston Rockets, made the trek to Atlanta.
Dwight bulked up for the camera with Big Tigger.
Keshia had a chance to catch up with her good friends Monyetta and Angela.
Radio personlity Ryan Cameron played in the tournament.
Singer Mila J took time out from promoting her new song "My Main" (featurign Ty Dolla Sign) to attend the festivities.
Kenny and daddy-to-be Lance played against each other. Heeey Lance.
Although Luda touched the trophy, his team did not beat the squad lead by music producer Lil Ronnie (who played on behalf of the Josh Powell Foundation to benefit youth athletics). Kooks like a fab night of giving back!
