BONUS:

Kerry Washington, who stars in two of Hollywood's most talked about sensations, "Scandal" and Django Unchained, was presented the President's Award at the 44th Annual NAACP Image Awards last night by the President and CEO of the NAACP Benjamin Todd Jealous and legendary screen star Diahann Carroll. Kerry was presented the award in honor of her political activism and humanitarian work.

During her speech, Kerry drew comparisons between the "stories" of her most famous characters, Olivia Pope and Broomhilda, while touting the importance of inclusivity and human rights.  She ended by saying she stands on the shoulders of artists and activists like Harry Belafonte (whom was also honored during the show) who blazed the trail before her.
