*Shaking & Crying* It's official. After weeks of speculation, the Hive was correct. Beyoncé is indeed releasing new music, sooner than you think. We've got everything you need to know so far about THE RENAISSANCE inside.
July 29th can't come quickly enough! In the wee hours of the morning, Beyoncé dropped a different type of surprise on the masses. Not her usual surprise album drop, but this time a surprise album release date reveal. It's been over a decade since she actually announced an album before releasing it.

King Bey shared on her socials and her website that Act 1, The Renaissance album (Does this mean there will be MULTIPLE acts?! A double album?!) will be released on July 29th. Yasssss!
You can pre-save it on Apple & Spotify, and when you do, you see there are 16 (now unnamed) tracks. The genre listed by Apple also says POP, which is a relief to those who - while they appreciated the drops - were over the negro spirituals and extra grown coupledom music from her and husband Jay-Z.
There were no other specific details about the album itself, but the roll out is ROLLING. She also announced collector's box sets - 4 of them - that are for sale. Each will contain a yet-to-be-revealed "Pose" in poster and t-shirt form, plus the album on CD and plenty of other goodies that will be shipped out on July 29th as well.
And that's not all. Mrs. Carter is about to give us all the life updates and music deets when her VOGUE UK July 2022 cover story hits newsstands next week (June 21st)! The pictorial that was just released is JAW DROPPING-LY gorge, and something a little new and avant garde for Bey. She's definitely signaling a new era is upon us.

While Apple Music def listed the album as POP, stans are wondering if it's actually a disco album since her VOGUE cover appears to be a tribute to Bianca Jagger.
Now, we're also left to wonder - will she pull a "Black Parade" and give us a Juneteenth buzz single drop this weekend? Time will tell.
