Rapper DDG Arrested, Released On $35K Bond - Felony Gun Possession, Wildin' In A Lambo!

Up and coming rapper DDG, who gained popularity for his association with Young Thug and Gunna and his relationship with R&B sweetheart Halle Bailey, was arrested yesterday! News on his felony charges and release, and what Chloe Bailey has to do with this.

"Moonwalking In Calabasas" rapper DDG is caught up with the law! Just as he and his Disney Princess boo Halle Bailey were winning everybody over with their sweet relationship, he up and gets himself arrested.

TMZ reports the 24-year-old, whose real name is Darryl Granberry, was sent to Valley Jail in Cali Monday on suspicion of felony gun possession. And a joy ride in a Lambo set everything off, allegedly:

Law enforcement sources tell us LAPD pulled over the 24-year-old rapper and YouTuber Monday for reckless driving. We're told he was cruising in a Lamborghini at the time.
Cops ended up searching the vehicle and say they found a gun, leading to his arrest for felony possession of a concealed weapon.

it's unclear if they'll ticket him for reckless driving or submit the incident with the gun charge. Either way, he was released on $35,000 bond and is expected in court on June 28th, 2022.

DDG and Halle have been putting their newfound love on front street - taking plenty of baecays together to Hawaii and other islands, openly supporting each other on social media, and sharing these super cute video of Halle giving him singing lessons and them practicing their boxing:

It's interesting. He and Chloe Bailey's rumored boo Gunna (and by rumored boo we mean former PR relationship to promote their "You & Me" single together) collabed on DDG's most recent drop "Elon Musk." Now, Twitter has all the jokes that the Bailey sisters are working for the Feds. *rolls eyes*
