Travis Scott is making his return to the festival stage since headlining his Astroworld Festival that turned deadly. He’ll be hitting the stage in South America and sources say that’s just the beginning of his comeback. More inside…

It appears Travis Scott is ready to make a comeback following his horrific Astroworld Festival that claimed the lives of ten people, including a minor, on November 5, 2021.

Travis Scott has been announced as the headliner of Primavera Sound’s South American music festivals in in São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile alongside several other artists, including Lorde, and Björk.

For his first scheduled festival, the “SICKO MODE” rapper will hit the stage on Sunday, November 6th in São Paulo, Brazil - exactly one year and one day after the Astroworld tragedy. He’ll then hit the stage in Buenos Aires (capital of Argentina) on November 12th & Santiago de Chile on November 13th. The festivals are being produced in part by Live Nation, which also produced Astroworld.

Varietyrevealed sources told them that Travis will be performing at “major” summer festivals coming up this summer, presumably in the U.S.

Interesting.

Before he hits the festival stage…

Travis Scott will hit the stage at E11EVEN nightclub in Miami on May 7th, which will mark his first concert where fans can buy tickets to see him perform. During Oscars weekend, he performed at RichieAkiva and Darren Dzienciol's pre-Oscars party and he also hit the stage during a Coachella afterparty at Bootsy Bellows.

The “Antidote” rapper performance will go down during the nightclub's Race Week, as the Formula One Grand Prix will be happening in Miami the following day. Rappers Rick Ross, Diplo, Snoop Dogg, and more are on the lineup to perform at E11EVEN.

The Houston native was set to headline Coachella in 2020 before it was canceled due to the pandemic. Then, it was announced he would headline in 2022, but they axed his performance after the Astroworld tragedy. Kanye West was announced to replace Travis and Ye revealed he planned on bringing Travis out. However, Ye ended up pulling out of the performance, which means Travis guest appearance was scrapped as well.

Back in March, the father-of-two announced his new safety initiative called Project HEAL, which was met with tons of backlash, specifically from the grandparents of the 9-year-old boy, EzraBlount, who lost his life at Astroworld. They believe he's trying to taint the jury pool in the case that Ezra's dad filed against Travis. The Houston rapper apologized and offered to pay for the funerals of the victims. Many of the victims' families rejected his offer.

Last week, Travis released his first song to streaming services since his deadly festival titled, "Hold That Heat," featuring Future

It appears he hasn't been canceled after all.
