Waka Flocka Flame and his wife Tammy Rivera had the wedding of their dreams since they didn't do a traditional ceremony when they first tied the knot. Go inside their fairytale nuptials....
Waka Flocka and his wife Tammy Rivera gathered their family and friends to jet off to Mexico to celebrate their love.
Five years ago when Waka and Tammy decided to spend the rest of their lives together, they skipped out on an extravagant wedding. They went down to the courthouse, got the paperwork, and that was that.
Apparently, they agreed that if they made it to their 5th anniversary, they would go all out to celebrate their love. It was a tough road to get their though. There were infidelity issues (on Waka's part, and Tammy later talked about her own indiscretions) and they separated in June 2016. They eventually reconciled (remember, she said "it's weak of a woman to walk away".......) and now, they're all wrapped up in love just like when they first got together.
“I told Waka that if we made it five years I wanted my dream wedding,” the reality star told PEOPLE. “Today my dream has come true. I am marrying my best friend and soulmate all over again. When God made Waka, he wrote my name beside his.”
Oh.
Over the weekend, the couple - who's currently starring on "Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition" - trekked down the aisle in their dream destination wedding in Mexico.
Tammy sashayed down the aisle in a beaded semi-see through Zuhair Murad gown with a cape to re-commit herself to her hubby. She was also rocking her new, custom 5-carat diamond ring and 3-carat wedding bands. During the reception, Waka gave Tammy's daughter, Charlie, a smaller version of her mom's ring to show his commit to being her step father:
