Jennifer Lopez was this year's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award receiptent and she tore the stage up! We're still shook. Peep her performance, her acceptance speech, her BAE Alex Rodriguez stanning out and more inside
Everybody ain't able!
Jennifer Lopez turned the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards into one of her Las Vegas shows as she was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
The 49-year-old entertainer proved age ain't nothing but a number because chick was busting out choreography like a 30 40-something on the dance scene as she ran through her biggest hits throughout her music career.
Donning a custom Versace leotard and coat, the singer began belting out "Waiting for Tonight," "On the Floor," and then she turned up the heat with "Dance Again."
Then, she performed "Ain't Your Mama," Don't Cost a Thing" and "Get It Right." In between tracks, she threw in Drake's "Nice For What," and even a snippet of a Cardi B track.
As a surprise, she brought out rapper Ja Rule to perform their collaboration tracks "I'm Real" and "Ain't It Funny." Nice! Y'all know Black Twitter ate that ish up.
Ha!
Peep her full performance below:
After rocking the stage, the hot mom served up her Video Vanguard Award acceptance speech, thanking everyone who has held her down throughout her long lasting career. Check it:
That's not all she won...
JLo won the Best Collaboration Award for her joint track with Cardi B and DJ Khaled, "Dinero." She was also nominated for Best Latin Video as well.
On the carpet...
JLo also rocked Versace on the carpet before making her way inside. You'll recall, her infamous green Versace dress from the VMAs in 2000 that people STILL talk about to this day. This dress wasn't one of those type of frocks, but she def slayed, per usual.
She put her man on picture duty too:
When BAE catches all of your good angles...and when it aint that hard to do because they're all hot af....Yesssss!
Congrats!
