It's official! Donald Glover is the first black director to win the EMMY for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. And it's well deserved.
The writer-director-star of "Atlanta" is cashing all the way in on his addictive FX show, raking up all the awards. His win also ended a four-year winning streak of female directors in the category.
At tonight's 69th annual Primetime Emmys, he's also nominated for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
