Another YBF celeb has trekked to Trump Tower to meet with Donald Trump. Steve Harvey sat down for a meeting with the president-elect to, as he said, unify the country.

First Kanye West. Then, Jim Brown and Ray Lewis. Now, Steve Harvey.
The “Family Feud” game show host shocked several folks when he showed up at Trump Towers for a meeting with president-elect Donald Trump on Friday.
Steve said he decided to sit down and chat with Trump in an effort to bring positive change to inner cities. And he also revealed that the transition teams on BOTH sides asked him to meet with Trump. So….President Obama’s team asked Steve to have a sit down with Trump? Hmm… The White House hasn’t confirmed this information as of yet, so who knows.
Anywho, the radio show host explained in an Instagram post that he decided to have a meeting with Trump in order to help move the country forward. During their meeting, Trump called up Dr. Ben Carson so they all could talk about looking at programs and housing to help aide inner cities.
Steve said after meeting with the president-elect, he walked away with a good feeling and said he felt Trump was genuine and sincere about making a difference in inner cities. Chile…
After the meeting, Steve told reporters, “He said he wanted to do something, They have a plan for the inner cities but they need some help and so that's why they called me. So we'll see what I can do."

And comedian D.L. Hughley is one of those pissed off people.
Steve's fellow King of Comedy didn’t waste any time to sound off on Steve meeting with Trump and he spit ALL facts.
He fired off saying, “Donald Trump takes pictures with black people. You know why you have a comedian, a rapper and a football player out to talk about the concerns of the community? Because that’s the positions you’re used to seeing us in. You’d rather have black people be football players, comedians, and rapper than president. You’d rather see us run the ball than run the country. That’s why you do it. I ain’t gone never forget what you said about this man [President Barack Obama] and how you got where you are….F*ck you now and f*ck you forever”

Meanwhile...
Broadway star Jennifer Holliday was scheduled to perform at Trump’s presidential inauguration. She sang for the Reagans, the Bushes (father and son) and she sang for the Clintons.
But now, she has cancelled her performance for Trump.
In a letter written to The Wrap, the singer/actress said her initial decision to perform was a “lapse in judgment” and she apologized to the LGBT community, saying she was “uneducated on the issues that affect every American at this crucial time in history and for causing such dismay and heartbreak to my fans.”
The Tony Award winner and LGBT advocate came under fire when it was announced she would be performing at the presidential inauguration of a man who does not support same-sex relationships.
She wrote:
“My only choice must now be to stand with the LGBT Community and to state unequivocally that I WILL NOT PERFORM FOR THE WELCOME CONCERT OR FOR ANY OF THE INAUGURATION FESTIVITIES!”
She concluded, “Please know that I HEAR YOU and I feel your pain. The LGBT Community was mostly responsible for birthing my career and I am deeply indebted to you… You have loved me faithfully and unconditionally and for so many years you provided me with work even though my star had long since faded.”
Well there's that.
