Will NeNe Leakes star on season 9 of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” that’s currently being shot? Find out what she said on the "Steve Harvey Show" inside, plus get the deets on Tituss Burgess gearing up to bring The Preacher’s Wife to Broadway…

Will the self-proclaimed “RHOA” OG star on the upcoming 9th season?

Since NeNe Leakes announced she was leaving the BRAVO reality show last year, she soon crawled back to collect those coins and appeared on a few episodes in season 8. Now, fans are wondering, will she return?

The short answer: Possibly. But, best believe BRAVO was shady with it. The network started shooting for the new season and didn’t contact NeNe until AFTER production had been started. She told Steve:

“That is NOT a true rumor. I’ll tell you what the real deal is. They’re shooting season 9 currently, and just so happened for whatever reason they started shooting and then call me up. I feel like Kelly Ripa, honey. I been there since day 1, so y’all shooting and don’t even call your girl up to come and shoot?

Bloop!

She wasn’t totally left in the dark though. BRAVO called her up and they’re currently negotiating a deal. She said,

“They did reach out to me though, and we are talking. So, I will possibly make some appearances in season 9. I don’t think I’ll ever be done with ‘Housewives.’ I feel very connected to the show. I’m the only original that’s there and I feel like it’s my baby.”

So there you have it. NeNe will likely be on the new season of the show.

The "Celebrity Apprentice" alum also talked whether or not she'll be endorsing Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump after starring on his competition show.

Coming to Broadway...

“30 Rock” star Tituss Burgess has acquired the rights to the 1996 film The Preacher's Wife, which starred the late Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington. Now, he wants to make it a musical and bring it to Broadway.  If it's anything like how he and Kimmy Schmidt break into song on one of ur fave Netflix shows, we're Here.For.It.

The EMMY nominated actor and Broadway star has penned the music and lyrics for the musical and will present it in Manhattan on September 12th, starring R&B singer Ledisi and actress Loretta Devine.

According to Playbill, the Broadway-aimed musical is described as “the story of one woman (Julia’s) journey to find her voice and strengthen her husband (the Preacher) and larger church community during a moment of financial crisis and emotional overwhelm. In a fast-gentrifying Harlem when they’re at risk of losing their church and their hope, an Angel appears and reminds them that a church is not a building, but the people who inhabit it and the love they share.”

Feelin' it?
