So The Rock & Vin Diesel's Beef Is All A Publicity Stunt...For WWE?!

Remember a couple of weeks ago when The Rock called out his "candy ass" co-stars?  After the internets put two and two together that he was more than likely talking about Vin Diesel, news about them readying for a WWE match has surfaced...

The Fast 8 cast beef is heating up. Or is it?

The upcoming installment of the Fast & The Furious 8 just wrapped production, but apparently the beef lives on.

 

This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't. The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right. Bottom line is it'll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that's embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part. When The Rock called out his co-stars for acting like unprofessional "Candy Asses" this go-round, everybody pretty much summed up that he was talking about Vin and/or Tyrese.  They're all heavy on social media, but rarely if ever post each other.

Apparently the two don't really get along.  Vin allegedly had his diva side on set, which wastes time, and Vin aint here for it.

Vin posted his own low key shade and seemed to have gotten a few co-stars on his side.

The Rock posted Thank Yous the other day to his Fast 8 co-stars as he headed out to film Jumanji:

Vin and co-star Michelle Rodriguez, both of whom were left out of The Rock's selective compliments, made a Facebook Live video back during the initial beef. In it, Michelle was clearly hinting about not loving being on the set.  Se said the fans are what's keeping her there:

Life & Style now reports Vin and The Rock will be facing off in the wrestling ring in a WWE match, The Rock's original home.

“They are playing a huge prank, and it’s all for publicity,” the insider shares.

Apparently they want to drum up publicity for the August 2017 release of Fast 8.

Still, the source says there's truth to the beef, but they are playing it up for the publicity.

Who would voluntarily battle The Rock in the ring?!  Good luck Vin!
