Denim on denim on denim!
Last night, BET hosted its “How To Rock Denim” fashion show at Milk Studios in NYC. Actor Quincy Brown and “KaePop” designer Karrueche were tapped to host the fashion event and, of course, they were styling in denim on the carpet:
Kae kept it cute in a patched denim crop top, white jeans and a denim choker to finish it off.
Of course, celebrity stylist June Ambrose put her own spin on a denim look. She shined on the carpet in a sparkly denim two-piece and black platform heels before working her magic backstage for the runway show.
Model Jessica White showed off her long stems in a pair of distressed denim daisy dukes paired with a black crop top and a long flowy kaftan to dress up her look.
Detroit rapper Dej Loaf was on hand to show off her colorful ensemble that she topped off with a patched denim jacket. Interesting shoes.
Brooklyn rapper Desiigner was his usual animated self on the carpet.
Atlanta rapper Young Thug and his signature skinny jeans were in the mix.
BET CEO Debra Lee struck a pose on the carpet styling in a denim jacket for the festivities.
Inside...
Quincy and Kae got on their hosting duties in between models ripping the runway. While she didn't model, Jessica joined the hosts on stage for a quick segment.
Desiigner got turned up for a performance of his hit single "Panda."
"Don't Mind" singer Kent Jones got flirty with the models during his performance.
Dej changed into another outfit before hopping on the mic. We see she let the ladies out.
June's daughter Summer Chamblain is her mom's shadow during the summer since school is out, so it was no surprise to see her there soaking in all of the hot fashions.
“F In Fabulous” star Stephon "Steph" Mendoza also hit the stage and caught a fun "us-sie" with Beyonce's stylist Ty Hunter and model Jordun Love.
Backstage...
June got to work crafting the looks for the runway.
In between styling the models, June chatted with Jessica who was on hand backstage to do interviews.
The show's hosts snapped up a few flicks backstage before they hit the stage in their different looks:
And THIS is how the show ended:
Nice!
