In sad news, Daisy Lewellyn, style expert and star of Bravo's "Blood, Sweat & Heels," passed away early this morning. We have the full story inside.
At the age of 36, reality star and style expert Daisy Lewellyn has passed away. Just one year ago, she revealed on the last season of "Blood, Sweat & Heels" that she had been battling stage 3 cancer of the bile ducts for the last year. She was diagnosed in 2014.
We're told her circle of friends and families made phone calls last night asking for prayers for Daisy. This morning, she passed away.
On the show, the consistently upbeat and optimistic Essence& InStyle fashion contributor kept up with her tv appearances during her battle, not even informing her own team about her diagnosis until she was left no choice.
Daisy appeared on "Kathy Lee & Hoda" while the last season of "BS&H" aired and revealed the cancer had gone into remission.
Bravo released a statement today that reads:
“We are devastated to learn that Daisy Lewellyn from Bravo’s ‘Blood, Sweat & Heels’ has passed away this morning after a battle with a rare form of cancer. Daisy passed on in peace and filled with joy, surrounded by her family and friends. We are all saddened to lose this wonderful woman. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy is expressed.”
We also learned from a Bravo producer that the network is actively planning a way to memorialize the L.A. native.
Daisy's former co-stars, including Geneva Thomas and Demetria Lucas, have also poured out their condolences.
Just last month, Daisy shot a style segment for TvOne:
We send our prayers and condolences to Daisy's family, friends, associates, and support circle at this difficult time.
