Six amazingly talented and beautiful YBF chicks? Yes please!

KODE magazine is serving up a HOT new cover for their January 2016 issue. And it’s featuring a few of our favorite YBF starlets who just so happen to be some of Hollywood’s leading young black actresses.

In celebration of Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month approaching, Kode Magazine dedicated its 10th issue to six of the most talented young black actresses of today, including “Empire” star and singer Serayah, DOPE actress Kiersey Clemons, Disney star Zendaya, “black•ish” cutie Yara Shahidi, “Vampire Diaries” star Kat Graham and “How To Get Away With Murder” beauty Aja Naomi King.

Shot by photographer Bradford Rogne, the YBF ladies are serving up all types of fierceness for the magazine’s Generation Noir issue. And we can’t get enough. We’re so obsessed with this cover.

For the cover story, each of the ladies will discuss what it’s like being a young, black woman in Hollywood and why it matters, along with updates on all of their new projects they’re working on.

The interviews will start to trickle out later in the week, but here’s a few pictorials to hold you over until they're released:

In a new video...

Jeezy is honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a powerful new video titled, “Sweet Life” featuring WONDALAND honcho Janelle Monae.

Debuting on CNN today, the “Sweet Life” video treatments helps bring awareness to police brutality, criminal justice reform and Hip Hop becoming a global presence. The Atlanta rapper talked about the new visuals telling the news network,

“Ever since I came into this music game, I’ve tried to make motivational music, whether you’re on the corner hustling or in the corner office making power moves. ‘Sweet Life’ is no different, but it’s a bit more of a personal track because I rap about my own trials and tribulations. I wanted this video, with Janelle Monáe, to show what could have happened to me and does happen to African Americans every day.”

Nice. “Sweet Life” is a cut from his latest album Church in These Streets that dropped in November. Check get the visuals above.
