Angela Simmons and Naomi Campbell are heating up the magazine circuit with their new covers. Check ‘em out inside…
Fab chick Angela Simmons is oozing boss chick fabulousness on the new cover of KONTROL magazine’s Women Of Style Issue. And rightfully so. The young entrepreneur wears many hats as she continues to build her empire, easing out of her father Rev. Run’s iconic shadow.
The fashionista knows a thing two about being a businesswoman. She had her Pastry Footwear line (in collaboration with sister Vanessa Simmons) and she once ran her own magazine, Angela’s Rundown. Now, she’s continuing her fashion take over with a new faux fur line, dubbed Foofi (named after her toy poodle) and she’s currently soaking up fashion industry knowledge at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at everything she has going on via her new reality show “Growing Up Hip Hop” which she also Executive Produces.
So how does she do it? Well, it boils down to one thing: time management. She spilled, “It’s all about time management and doing what you have to do…you make a decision that this is what’s got to get done and get right to it.”
While she’s super busy with her fashion line, we’ll also get a sneak peek at her love life. Apparently, Angela and co-star Romeo Miller had a fling once and there may still be some chemistry between the two…even though Romeo is currently in a relationship. Rumors popped up on the Internet that she and fellow cast mate Kristinia DeBarge has some “beef” over Romeo, but she shoots those rumors down. She said, “Me and Kristinia? We’re cool. There’s no issue there. She’s a great girl and a lot of fun.”
As for if she and Romeo will link up again? She played coy, “[Laughs] You will just have to watch the show and see…”
“Growing Up Hip Hop” premieres tonight at 10/9c on WEtv.
