The queen is gracing VOGUE magazine’s coveted September issue with her flawlessness. And it’s FIERCE…straight up, no chaser. You've seen the sneak peek, now, come inside to see Beyonce’s wet & wild history making cover and spread….
When you think about powerful women taking over the world, one name easily comes to mind…Beyonce. She exudes fierceness, dedication, sophistication, sexuality and empowerment. So, it was a no-brainer for VOGUE when searching to find who would grace the cover of their coveted September issue this year.
The fashion bible chose Queen Bey to slay the world with a stunning cover, shot by famed photographer Mario Testino. The “Flawless” serves wet & wild fabness, looking snatched in a lavender embroidered Marc Jacobs dress with floral accents.
The female powerhouse is making history, yet again, with the new cover. While she has posed it up for VOGUE before (landing the April 2009 and March 2013 issues), this cover is extra special as she is the first black female artist to grace the September issue. She’s also the third black female to grace the September issue, following behind Naomi Campbell and Halle Berry. Congrats!
While we wait for the full cover story, scheduled to hit newsstands August 25th, feast your eyes on Bey’s effortless slayage below:
