Nominee Megan Thee Stallion is bringing her Hot Girl ish to LA ahead of the this year's BET Awards. See the hottie bust it down, her XXL Freshman Class cover and how she's making college cool inside...
Megan Thee Stallion is taking over L.A.
The Houston Hottie has new music, she's nominated for a BET Award and she's constantly hitting the stage for a performance. She's def Hip Hop's "IT" girl right now with fans following her every move. Not only that, she has built relationships with other female rappers in the game, promoting women empowerment in a male-dominated industry. Who wouldn't love that?
Before she finds out if she's the winner of the Best Female Artist Award on Sunday, the FEVER rapper hit up Pretty Little Thing's pre-BET Awards party in Hollywood.
She always puts on a good show.
On the magazine front...
The 24-year-old rapper just landed a big feat! Hot Girl Meg has landed a spot in XXL's 12th annual Freshman Class - one of three woman who made the list.
This year’s Freshman Class includes 11 artists: East Saint Louis, Ill.’s Comethazine, Philadelphia’s Tierra Whack, Charlotte, North Carolina’s DaBaby, Seattle’s Lil Mosey, Compton’s Roddy Ricch, Suitland, Md.’s YBN Cordae, Jacksonville, Fla.’s YK Osiris, Largo, Md.’s Rico Nasty, Atlanta’s Gunna, Houston’s Megan Thee Stallion and Los Angeles’ Blueface.
Per usual, XXL will release more content about each artist, which will include behind-the-scenes moments, solo interviews, freestyles, cyphers and roundtable discussions so that rap fans can get to know each artist and what they represent.
Also, before you ask "Why can't female rappers serve something other than sexed up looks?":
Chick can do both.
If you didn't know Thee Stallion is serious about her education. She previously was enrolled at Texas Southern University and took classes on campus while building her brand as a certified rap artist. She's super busy these days, so she switched to online classes at the school. Now, she's considering heading back to campus in the fall. She shared a throwback photo of herself on campus looking all studious. At the rate she's going, we doubt she'll have time. But we LOVE the fact she's making it happen by any means necessary. We stan an educated young queen.
While in LA, the "Tina Montana" rapper hosted her first ever "Cognac Queen" pageant to help a few LA hotties pay for college:
We're obsessed.
Right before the fall...
The "WTF I Want" rapper will be joining Meek Mill, Future, YG& DJ Mustard for the "Legendary Nights Tour," set to kick off August 28th in St. Louis, MO. The tour will stop in 24 cities and it'll wrap up on October 5th in Las Vegas. Nice!
Securing the bag all 2019!
