Baby girl Maverick Nash has arrived, and she came out the wound ready to eat, according to her pops.

The "Signed" star and super producer also revealed that while this is the couple's third child together, she wasn't necessarily planned.  Lalonne was using an IUD for birth control, but baby Maverick was like, "what birth control?!"

She was clearly meant to be, and the couple seem over the moon happy.

Terius & Lalonne just celebrated three years of marriage, and now they've added a baby girl to their fam.  She joins big brothers Lord & Heir Nash.

Lalonne posted her excitement saying:

The Dream's ex mother-in-law and Christina Milian's mama, Carmen Milian, chimed in on Lalonne's page with a message to the couple saying:

Congratulations to both you and Dream!!!!! She's beautiful!!!!

Kim Kardashian West found herself in hot water after defending beauty blogger Jeffree Star, a makeup guru known for making CONSTANT racist remarks. Of course, she’s backtracking after getting thoroughly dragged, per usual. Get the story inside….

Sighs…where do we start?

OK! Kim Kardashian West is working our last reserved nerve with these artificial apologies. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star has issued an apology after telling fans to “get over” racist remarks made by makeup guru, Jeffree Star.

So here’s how it all went down.

Kim was doing an online demonstration via SnapChat to promote her newest products from her KKW beauty line.  Because what else is her Snapchat used for, right?  Cool. Apparently, she was having issues with “swatching” her new powder contour kits and Jeffree Star called her out on it.

Fans started dragging the beauty blogger for criticizing Kim, after he was at her house and all up in her selfies for her first "contour stick" launch a little while ago.  They even dug up old tweets where he uses the “N” word and said other racist remarks he has made.

Word got back to Kanye West’s wife about how her fans were bashing the beauty blogger, so she decided to defend him and tell folks to get over it and "let him live." BIG mistake.

“I see that my fans are totally hating on someone like Jeffree Star for being honest about my struggle swatches. But because of his remarks I’m learning," she said. "I get that it’s a serious deal if you say racial things but I do believe in people changing. And people that apologize, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I know better than anyone that I hate when people bring up my past or mistakes that I’ve made in the past, so let him live."

"I welcome honest comments about my products and because of it, I’m swatching better now.”

She didn't do a video to defend black beauty guru Jackie Aina after she gave a non-shady, honest tutorial about her contour sticks, though. She simply didn't tag her (yet tagged everyone else) in those selfies we just talked about. But we digress...

The issue is that Jeffree hasn't just said racial things in the past, he's said them recently as well and refuses to ackonwledge that.  His recent apology video only addrssed something he said 12 years ago (disrespectful racist comments toward black women). 

So Kim trying to police what a black woman (or anyone really) can and can't be mad at is entitled and ridiculous.  Because we all know her sensitive ass didn't "just get over" all the Ray J jokes and people criticizing how exactly she got to where she is. 

As expected, folks started going in on her, so she had to offer up an apology. *rolls eyes *

In a now deleted Instagram video, Kim said:

“So I really wanted to apologize to you guys and my fans for defending a situation yesterday that I really didn’t know enough about. I just feel a bit naïve, and I do want to really apologize for me feeling like I had the right to say ‘get over it’ in a situation that involves racism.”

“I just don’t really feel like I have the right to speak on that, and I really, really, really am sorry,” she said. “From the bottom of my heart, I’ve always been about positivity and I’ve never been a negative person, so my whole thing was: ‘Hey guys, I don’t want to see negativity in my timeline or my mentions, let’s just move forward — let’s be positive and move past this.’ ”

“I really am sorry, and I just want to move forward and be positive,” she continued. “My last message is that I do believe that people are born to love and born with love, and they are taught to hate. So I have always had hopes that people can change and that people can learn to be better and do better, and learn to find that love again. So never give up hope. That is my message for the day and that’s always been what I’m trying to say. I believe in people changing, I believe in people just being better, and I’ll never give that up. I just want people to be positive.”

 

It's quite interesting how someone Forbes and her fans love to praise for being such a genius businesswoman consistently plays dumb about her bad and "naive" deicisons when it comes to these types of issues.  You can't have it both ways.

Former NFL superstars Tim Brown and Jermichael Finley are basically bashing Marshawn Lynch for sitting during the national anthem recently. When will it end? More inside…

Folks still have something to say about NFL players protesting against the national anthem in the name of social and racial injustices.

NFL Hall of Famer/Raiders icon Tim Brown is one of them. He certainly has an opinion about Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch sitting (and eating a banana) during the national anthem at the Raiders pre-season game against the Cardinals. Since Colin Kaepernick wasn't picked up by an NFL team, somebody has to lead the charge.

The former NFL baller chopped it up with TMZ, where he criticized Marshawn for sitting during the anthem. “Why bring negativity, to this incredible, positive situation?,” Tim asked.

What negativity Tim?! How is sitting during the national anthem negativity? We need answers.

We’d like to note, Marshawn has sat during the national anthem on-and-off throughout his 11 years in the NFL. And we all know Marshawn gives ZERO f*cks.

Tim then went on to say that Marshawn (and others) shouldn’t protest at games because “football is where people go to get away from that stuff.”

"It's more of marketing, it's not really in their heart that they really want to do that. But once again, I think it's a selfish reason I really do," Jermichael told TMZ. Sir, have several seats.

Baltimore said "Forget this!" They took their Confederate statues down with the quickness. Deets inside…

B-More officials swooped in like a thief in the night and scooped up several Confederate statues around 3 AM, likely to avoid a repeat of the deadly violence that went down in Charlottesville over the weekend. They also likely weren't trying to have a repeat of the riots that took place following the death of Freddie Gray.

The city had been planning to remove them, but after seeing all of the racist terrorism that invaded Charlottesville, Baltimore made moves fast.

A statue of Supreme Court Chief Roger Taney was taken down from its location in the Mount Vernon Place neighborhood, followed by monuments of Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas. J. "Stonewall" Jackson, the Confederate Soldiers and Sailors Monument, and the Confederate Women's Monument.

Quick history lesson: Former chief justice Roger Taney is famously known for the Dred Scott Decision, the 1857 Supreme Court ruling that said black people were not considered American citizens and the federal government couldn’t regulate slavery.

There has been controversy over whether the statues across the nation should be taken down. Some feel the statues represent Southern history and heritage, while others feel like they’re racist symbols glorifying a side that lost its desire to maintain slavery.

LeBron James is whipping out his producer hat again for a new project about America's first female millionaire, Madam C.J. Walker, starring Octavia Spencer. Deets inside…

LeBron James has been steadily building his empire outside of basketball with his hand in several different businesses.  And next on his list is telling the story of a black millionaire beauty revolutionary!

Now, he’s using his SpringHill Entertainment production company to tell a much-needed story the masses need to see. James and & SpringHill will be adding their first scripted drama to their line up.

Beauty gurus, take notes!  The series will tell the story of activist/entrepreneur Madam C.J. Walker, starring Oscar winner Octavia Spencer. It’s unclear if Octavia will be playing Madam C.J. Walker.

Variety reports:

Walker, the daughter of slaves, was orphaned at age seven, married at 14, and widowed at 20. She spent two decades laboring as a washerwoman, earning $1.50 a week. However, everything changed following Walker’s discovery of a revolutionary hair care formula for black women. By the time she died in 1919, she had built a beauty empire from the ground up, amassing wealth unprecedented among black women. She counted W.E.B. Du Bois and Booker T. Washington among her friends.

LeBron and his friend/business partner Maverick Carter will executive produce the limited series. It’s rumored that Netflix wants to pick up the series, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

“I am really proud of this project and that SpringHill will be partnering with Octavia to tell this important story,” LeBron told Variety.“Every American should all know the story of Madam C.J. Walker. She was an innovator, entrepreneur, social activist, and total game changer whose story has been left out of the history books. I hope this project lives up to her legacy with a story that will educate and inspire.”

Black Nativity director Kasi Lemmons will helm and co-executive produce the series and Nicole Asher will help write the script and co-executive produce.

We’re here for this. And props to King James for shining light African-American figures who helped shaped American history.

Ahhh! Nothing like letting your hair down for a day of pampering.

That’s what Ciara, Tyra Banks, Kerry Washington, Halle Berry, Maya Rudolph, Rashida Jones, and Rachel Roy were up to. The YBF ladies stepped out for some R&R at producer Jennifer Klein’s 19th annual Day of Indulgence hosted inside her L.A. home. Photographer Amy Graves was on the scene to snap pics for InStyle.

The ladies enjoyed delectable eats, massages, pedicures, and even received some cool swag bags, including an Eagle Creek suitcase along with LeSportsac Weekenders filled with gifts. Nice!

“I’m just so proud of her,” Tyra said about host Jennifer Klein.“To me, the Day of Indulgence is not about a massage or a pedicure. It’s about stuffing my face and rolling myself in the car along with the big suitcase [of goodies].”

New mom again Ciara did the oversized t-shirt with no pants look paired with slippers...and made it work.

The oversized threads seem to be the theme of the party. Halle Berry served up boho chic at the shindig.

“I love women. I’m a girl’s girl,” the Oscar winner (and first-time attendee at the bash) told InStlye.“So to be around women doing stuff that women love to do, and looking at things that women love to look at, and feeling empowered by feeding off of each other, that’s what I love about this event.”

We were like making a plan to come here and then go out to dinner afterward. It’s a fun place where you get to see people that you love that you normally don’t see.” She was referencing the final season of ABC series "Scandal." Creator Shonda Rhimes, Bellamy Young, and Darby Stanchfield were also in attendance.

Rashida made sure to grab her goodies.

And Maya appeared to have had a good time. Fun times.

When one marriage door closes, a reality show window will open.  Deets inside on Peter Thomas' new spinoff show that's in the works...

After appearing on several seasons of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" and recently splitting from Cynthia Bailey, Peter Thomas has found the light at the end of the tunnel.  He's about to get his own reality show.

Is this really needed?!

Sources say the Club One owner has been filming a pilot for Bravo for a show based around his restaurant in Charlotte, a la "Vanderpump Rules."  The spinoff will "cover Peter's life owning and managing the club in the aftermath of his breakup with Cynthia last year on 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'," according to TMZ.

We don't see Cynthia making an appearance on this show, seeing that the restaurant was the scene of that alleged cheating scandal he was involved in last year.  The "Real Housewife" blindsided him with divorce papers after that, according to Peter.

Apparently, that knife fight he had at Power 98's radio station with Kenya Moore's ex Matt Jordan may also make it into the show.

Bravo execs are saying the show has a great chance of making it to air thanks to all the juicy footage.

We said 3 years ago that LeBron James going back to Cleveland after owner Dan Gilbert never PUBLICLY apologized for that disgusting slave-like letter was a questionable move. Dan's latest move may have just cost the team their star for good.....

Yesterday, a report surfaced from Bleacher Report's senior writer Ric Bucher saying Cavs owner Dan Gilbert donated three quarters of a million dollars to Trump's inauguration.

Worth noting in light of LeBron's remarks about this president: Cavs' owner Dan Gilbert reportedly donated $750,000 to his inauguration.

LeBron has been outspoken about his disdain for Trump's MAGA ways since election season. So it should have come as no surprise to Dan Gilbert - who Bron already has a strained relationship with - that his star player would have an issue with him publicly supporting Trump.

Fast forward to a new report saying LeBron is ready to leave Cleveland...ASAP. Veteran sports writer Chris Sheridan broke the news today saying Bron is definitely leaving after this season, and it's totally because of Dan Gilbert and co.:

Pregnancy looks damn good on Serena Williams. She and her fiancé Alexis Ohanian are gearing up to welcome their first child and they couldn’t be happier.

Rena was tapped to be interviewed by VOGUE magazine and her soon-to-be husband joined her as she sat answering questions.

The question everyone wants to know….will she be returning to tennis? She has said it before and she’ll say it again, YES. Age and post-pregnancy are non-factors.

“It’s hard to figure out what the end of your tennis career should look like,” she said. “I used to think I’d want to retire when I have kids, but no. I’m definitely coming back. Walking out there and hearing the crowd, it may seem like nothing. But there’s no better feeling in the world.”

The 35-year-old tennis star said being pregnant has restored her with new power.

If I can’t beat you, I’m not going to cheat to win. “Alexis thinks we’re having a boy, but I have a strong suspicion that it’s a girl,” she said “Two weeks after we found out, I played the Australian Open. I told Alexis it has to be a girl because there I was playing in 100-degree weather, and that baby never gave me any trouble. Ride or die. Women are tough that way.”

Cleveland Cavaliers baller LeBron James and his wife Savannah James are relationship goals, times 10. This past spring, Savannah announced a new program in Akron: Women of Our Future. Along with a team of certified mentors and counselors, she will begin working with sixteen high school girls at Buchtel, her alma mater, offering one-on-one support. Her inspiration? Savannah remembers her own mother doing anything she could to help young people in need. “When I was growing up, my mom took in three or four kids just because they needed a place to go and be safe, to eat,” she says. The other inspiration is Akron and its residents. “These are my friends; these are my cousins,” says Savannah. “These are people who I was extremely close to and still am now; these are the kids of neighborhood kids who we saw every day at school. And if they just have the right push. . . .”

In Akron, you see a side of LeBron that the rest of the world doesn’t. Everybody knows LeBron James the basketball star. And most people understand that he is a budding player in Hollywood, executive-producing his own television series (The Wall and Cleveland Hustles) and, even more famously, costarring in Trainwreck. Even LeBron James the businessman, with multiple endorsement deals, is no big news—not, for instance, to Warren Buffett. The investment guru said by phone that he thinks of LeBron as not just warmhearted and funny—James nicknamed Buffett Uncle Warren—but sharp. “If I’d had that much success that young, I’d have had trouble, but he’s been able to just be sensible and keep his head on straight. I admire him greatly. He’s one of my favorite nephews!”

After the fight, the Lash Boutique owner reportedly made a stop at a recording studio in Tarzana to air out her frustrations on a new track. It appears she’s taking this rapping thing seriously or whatever.

After her studio session, Chyna made her way to the strip club. And guess who was there? Her ex-fiance's sister Khloe Kardashian with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Y’all know these two can't stand each other. It’s reported they crossed paths inside and stared each other down, but no words were exchanged. Had there been an issue, we would have put our money on Chy. Just sayin’…

Tiffany keeps a hilarious story in her pocket and she's got one about being a white woman on paper. She also talks about playing white Phoebe in Jay Z's 4:44 "Friends" parody."

“Any chance I get to play a white woman, I’m there,” she said.

Tiffany also shared a funny story about how Kevin Hart found out she was homeless, sleeping in her car in Beverly Hills.

Two films that will tackle beauty standards and racism are in the works. Get the deets on Justin Simien’s Bad Hair film and George Tillman Jr.’s Black Lives Matter-inspired film The Hate U Give inside…

Justin Simien, who wrote and directed the Dear White People film and series, will write and direct a horror satire titled, Bad Hair. It’s about a weave gone horribly wrong...with a twist. 

Deadline serves up deets on the film:

Paralleling the rise of New Jack Swing in 1989, Bad Hair is a horror satire that follows an ambitious young woman who gets a weave in order to survive the image obsessed world of music television. Her professional success comes at a higher cost than anticipated, however, when she discovers her new hair may have a mind of its own. Simien has retained the biting satirical commentary but added genre bending thrills. Sight Unseen VP of Development, Angel Lopez, will oversee the film for the company. They’ve started a teaser website that will be developed over time as the movie takes shape.

Genre bending thrills? Hmm…that has peeked our interest. No word yet where this film will end up, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Netflix hasn’t scooped it up already.

The “New Edition Story” series is doing wonders for the cast’s careers.

Algee Smith, who stars in DETROIT, just landed a new gig in director George Tillman Jr.’s (Soul Food, Notorious) upcoming film, The Hate U Give. He’ll be joining lead star Amandla Stenberg and Regina Hall.

The drama is an adaptation of Angela Thomas’ debut YA novel, which was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement.

THR gives a synopsis of the film:

The story follows a 16-year-old girl named Starr (Amandla Stenberg) who grew up in a poverty-stricken slum, but now attends a suburban prep school. After she witnesses a police officer shoot her unarmed best friend, she's torn between her two very different worlds as she tries to speak her truth.

Algee will play Starr’s friend friend, Khalil, Regina Hall will play Starr’s mother, Russell Hornsby will star as Starr's father and Lamar Johnson will play Seven, Starr's older brother.

Sanaa Lathan is gearing up to bring some #BlackGirlMagic to Netflix in a new film titled Nappily Ever After. Deets inside…

Sanaa Lathan, who starred in the limited series “Shots Fired,” just got her next leading role. The modern day woman film, Nappily Ever After, is an adaptation of the best-selling novel with the same name, written by Trisha R. Thomas.

Variety reports:

“The film follows a woman with a seemingly flawless life — a great job, a handsome boyfriend who’s a doctor, and a meticulously maintained coiffure. But after an accident at the hair salon, each of these things starts to unravel, and Violet begins to realize that she was living the life she thought she was supposed to live, not the one that she really wanted.”

This woman’s hair will alter everything in her life as she knows it.  Every black woman knows that life.

Not only is Sanaa starring in the film, she’s also producing it. Director Haifaa Al-Mansour (Wadjda) will helm the film with Marc Platt, Tracey Bing, and Jared Leboff producing alongside the YBF actress.

Nappily Ever After is a passion project for Tracey Bing and she’s the one who brought the project to Netflix. Tracey produced the Barack and Michelle Obama love story film, Southside With You.  Let's hope this one fares a little better.

Production for the film begins this month in Atlanta.

After a successful run in 2015, Brandy will be making her return to Broadway’s “Chicago.” The Grammy Award winner will be reprising her role as Roxie Hart for 17 upcoming shows.

The songstress made her way to a press event in NYC leading up to her encore performance, set to kick off today (August 17th).

She stopped by the "TODAY" show to dish on her reurn to the big stage.

Golden State Warriors Kevin Durant was celebrated by his hometown after a successful NBA season. The NB Finals MVP carried the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy during a parade in Seat Pleasant, MD that was thrown just for him, dubbed “Kevin Durant Day.” Fans lined the streets to see their hometown hero with his championship trophy.

Speaking of winning the championship…

You won’t see Kevin Durant set foot in the White House anytime soon, even though the Warriors won the NBA title this year. Trump hasn’t extended a formal invitation for the team to visit the White House (which is a tradition), but if he does, Kevin will not be attending.

“Nah, I won’t do that,” the 28-year-old baller told ESPN’s Chris Haynes. “I don’t respect who’s in office right now.”

Omari has a new thriller/crime film coming to theaters soon, so he’s on the promo trail. The YBF actor hit the red carpet at the Shot Caller L.A. premiere held at The Theatre at Ace Hotel.

The film will follow a newly released prison gangster who's forced by the leaders of his gang to orchestrate a major crime with a brutal rival gang on the streets of Southern California.

It's set to hit theaters tomorrow, August 18th.

Folks never learn that their Instagram flossing will get them caught up and locked up.  The latest on Meek Mill's reckless arrest inside...

Meek Mill posted himself speeding through the streets of New York the other day on his dirt bike.  The bike lover, who has a whole game app about bike life, was showing off as usual when, apparently, someone called the cops saying folks were endangering others on the street with their behavior.

Cops went on the hunt...via social media...and linked the foolery to the Philly rapper. Based on a police report we viewed for either Meek or someone in his crew, authorities allege the rapper and co. were indeed riding bikes in a dangerous manner.  And they confirmed this via Meek's video posted to his Instagram page.

The call was put in Wednesday by a citizen who said folks were popping wheelies and riding dangerously (and helmet-less) down the street. Cops picked up Meek a little after 10 ET Thursday as he was riding in his Rolls Royce Wraith.

He was taken in for questioning to the Upper Manhattan precinct.

Video of Meek being arrested surfaced online late last night, and an officer can be heard telling Meek he has video of the star “riding up and down the street.”  Meek also posted the arrest on Instagram Live:
