From getting sued by your parents to pulling out a gun for your protection -- Frank Ocean and Tyson Beckford have their hands full. Get the latest inside…

It’s one thing to get sued, but when your parents sue you that takes things to a whole new level.

Unfortunately, that’s what Frank Ocean is dealing with right now. His dad, Calvin Cooksey, has filed a defamation lawsuit against his son over a Tumbler post Frank wrote last summer following the Pulse nightclub massacre. In his letter, Frank opened up about his father using homophobic slurs over the years while he was a kid.

He wrote:

“I was six years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a faggot as he dragged me out a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn’t be served because she was dirty. That was the last afternoon I saw my father and the first time I heard that word, I think, although it wouldn’t shock me if it wasn’t.”

Apparently, Frank’s post has caused some drama in his dad’s life. His dad claims the story Frank told is a LIE and that it has “damaged his financial opportunities in film and music.”

Now, he’s gunning for a cool $14.5 million in damages. Sheesh! TMZ also reported Frank’s dad sued Russell Simmons in 2014 for $142 million claiming Russell called him a deadbeat dad. Lordt.

In other news...

Model Tyson Beckford had to get savage on a process server after feeling threatened by him.  In case you didn't know by now, he's BEEN about that life.

According to reports, Tyson whipped a gun out on the process server, who was wearing an eyepatch, after the man allegedly got aggressive. Tyson admits to pulling the gun out because he said the guy never identified himself and even tried to push his door open after he tried to close it. The model said he felt in danger because he lives in a secure building (in Miami) and without any advance warning, someone started knocking at his door.

The process server is singing a different tune. He claims Tyson slammed the door in his face. The man yelled through the door that he was going to leave the papers at the front door and that’s when Tyson allegedly opened the door with a gun in his hand demanding he leave the building.

By the way, Tyson has a license to carry.

Doesn’t look like they’ll be going to court though. The process server didn’t file a police report.

We wonder what Tyson was getting served for....

What’s good Giuseppe Zanotti? Nicki Minaj is going OFF because she wants her coins from you and she wants them NOW. Sip the tea inside…

Nicki Minaj has time today. And she’s dragging Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti for his life.

Why? Well, it appears he used her name for a collection of shoes but refuses to cut her a check. In fact, her PR team has refused to even speak with Nicki’s camp and she’s pissed. And rightfully so.

We do wonder, though, if Nicki's management made a contract with the shoe designer a few years ago when they were both participating in the "Nicki Minaj inspired collection" (pictured above).  Seems like that's somethin that should have been done then.

Not only that, Giuseppe has given other artists capsule collections (i.e. Jennifer Lopez most recently), but when Nicki called him up about one for herself, they refused to speak with her. Chile…

So, Nicki is taking things into her own hands, issuing a warning to Giuseppe that he better run her the coinage in 24 hours…or else!

The Grammy Award winner talked about the new track during a Facebook Live session last night, noting she and YG worked with superproducer Jermaine Dupri. Laid out in lingerie, Mariah revealed she’ll be dropping more single releases rather than a full album. We're sure the Lambly family is happy to hear more new music is coming.

LaLa Anthony and Kelly Rowland have super busy schedules. But, the ladies were able to squeeze in a girls night out. Earlier this week, Kellz and La headed out to Nobu for dinner rocking matching ensembles.

The R&B singer had just came from an event at Burlington where she attended the Knock Out Heart Disease charity eventin honor of her late mother.

The “Whoa Baby” author jetted back to L.A. where photogs spotted her arriving at LAX. Kelly’s new book on maternity secrets is set to hit shelves April 11th.

The former Destiny’s Child member is also has been working on a makeup line for all women, including women of color, of course. She plans to have shades to match every woman’s complexion. The idea came after a makeup artist did her makeup three times and each time was an epic fail.

Fresh from a family vacay in Costa Rica, North and Saint West had dinner with their mom Kim Kardashian West at Cipriani for some Italian eats. Nori was her usual adorable self, rocking pigtails while holding a sucker as they exited the venue. Meanwhile, her mom carried her little brother Saint as he side eyed the paparazzo’s flashing cameras.

Kanye West and Kim are currently creating a kids clothing line and they had Nori model some of their new threads. Kim shared SnapChat videos of North modeling a yellow sequin dress and a yellow shearling coat from the collection.

LaLa has plenty to celebrate after inking a production deal with ITV America.

According to Deadline:

The actress, author and producer has signed an exclusive production partnership with ITVA to create and produce projects in the urban, music and pop culture space via her LaLaLand label, under the ITV America banner.

Anthony already is developing a hip-hop docuseries that takes an inside look at the business side of New York City’s hip-hop scene with Timbaland and Leftfield Entertainment/ITVA prodco Leftfield Pictures. They also are in development on several other projects that include documentaries and scripted series, as well as true-crime and live-event series.

With news that 5-year-old Blue Ivy Carter will be a big sister soon, there’s more good news from the Carter Camp.

Beyonce and Jay Z are >< close to locking in the Blue Ivy Carter trademark. And there are reports that the Carters are looking to launch a line of B-I-C products.

According to reports, BIC is set to release hair care products, clothing, video games and more. TMZ says the BIC trademark application should be “approved very soon.”

Bey’s company tried to trade “Blue Ivy” back in 2012, but was denied since that name had already been trademarked. No word on when these BIC products will be released, but its always good to have your ducks in order, so when they’re ready to launch her stuff, the paperwork will already be in place.

Beyonce’s dad Mathew Knowles is speaking out and he’s spilling some tea on his daughter’s pregnancy announcement and her rumored GRAMMY performance.

Bey’s former manager sat down with The Insider where he shared he was “shocked” to find out his daughter was pregnant with twins. The kicker? He found out just like the rest of us.  Damn! Looks like Papa Knowles aint on the family group text.

“I got a first text and I kept saying ‘Why is this person saying Congratulations?’ I didn’t know myself!," he explained.

He said he spoke with her shortly after the public announcement and they had a wonderful daddy-daughter conversation.

There’s no more speculation whether Mrs. Carter will perform during this year’s GRAMMY Awards. Mathew let the cat out of the bag while talking about his recent conversation with Bey.

“I was like, ‘Are you OK?’ because she sounded a little tired because she has been working on the GRAMMY performance. And we just had a wonderful daughter-dad conversation.”

Well there you have it. Bey WILL be hitting the stage February 12th during the GRAMMYs.

Morgan Freeman was quite the rolling stone before making his mark in Hollywood. Find out what he said about his playboy ways and launching his acting career at the age of 50 inside…

This man stays working, even decades later.  You can call it black history in the making.

Morgan Freeman is arguably one of the best actors of our time, serving up stellar performances in Million Dollar Baby, Driving Miss Daisy and The Dark Knight, to name a few.

But before he made his mark on the Hollywood scene, the Oscar winner was quite the ladies man. The Hollywood veteran used to travel a lot, moving state-to-state starring in a play titled “The Royal Hunt of the Sun.” During those days, Morgan had a field day with the ladies. 

In an interview with AARP, Morgan told the stories behind several pictures he has in his personal stash. And the picture above took him back to his playboy days.

“Oh, this is Mr. Cool. Taken while I was on tour with The Royal Hunt of the Sun. That was the way I dressed on tour. And I was a smoker. Was I a lady-killer in those days? Big time. Big time. Tall and good looking, what was my secret. We went to 14 cities. A lot of the places were colleges, so it was a feeding ground. But then the show ended, and there was no work. The magic wore off. I got a job and Nedick’s, which was like McDonald’s before McDonald’s caught on.” The lady-killer? He started selling hot dogs.”

Life comes at you fast doesn't it?

While one would think Morgan has been a Hollywood actor since…forever…he actually didn’t get into the game until he was 50-years-old! He dished on how he got his first gig after acting legend Sidney Poitier gave him the stamp of approval.

“I’m 50 years old, playing off-Broadway opposite the incredible Dana Ivey. Driving Miss Daisy changed everything. We heard Warner Bros. was making the movie, but they never hire New York actors. When the movie’s director, Bruce Beresford came backstage, I said, ‘So, do I get the job?’ he said, ‘You’re kinda young.’ He wanted Sidney Poitier. But when they went to Sidney, Sidney said, ‘Go with the kid.”

WOW! Who knew? It definitely feels like he has been in the game ever longer than he has.

This year’s Super Bowl didn’t escape politics in the least bit when it came to the Super Bowl ads. We’ve rounded up the top 6 most powerful ads that played during Super Bow LI that you can check out inside…

As expected, the Super Bowl ads were just as good as the actual game last night as the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons went head-to-head in Houston.

By now you know, the Patriots came back in a history making game with an ending score of 34-28. The Falcons held the lead the entire game, but the Patriots proved to be the better team. Sighs…

Well, one good thing about the game was the commercials and the ads served up several political themes in response to the new era of power currently in the White House. Controversial? Yes! Powerful? Yep!

Likely the most controversial ad was from 84 Lumber, a Pittsburgh-based building-supply company. But it was what viewers didn’t get to see that made it so controversial. The commercial told the story of a mother and daughter traveling through Mexico on their way to America. What viewers didn’t see in the full six-minute ad is the mother and daughter coming up on a huge wall on the Mexican border that divided America and Mexico using 84 Lumber materials. (You know, the wall Trump is trying to get up). In the end, the mother and daughter find a door that they are able to go through and walk into America.

When 84 Lumber first submitted their ad, FOX rejected it because it was "too political," so they edited out the part of the mother and daughter coming up on the wall, but it's available online.

In other ads, Budweiser touches on immigration, following the cofounder Adolphus Busch’s journey to the States in the 19th century. Atlanta Falcon fans took over Houston to cheer on their beloved team against the New England Patriots. Ludacris, T.I., Jeezy, Taraji P. Henson, Andre 3000 and more were in the stands and we’ve got their pics inside…

Super Bowl 51 was quite an eventful game. It started off as a blow out, but quickly took an unexpected turn.

The Atlanta Falcons held the lead for the entire game up until the last quarter of the game. Which means, all of the Atlanta folks were going "all the way up" until Patriots QB Tom Brady clinched the win during overtime (the very first overtime in Super Bowl history by the way).

Several Atlanta celebs and celebrity fans were in the stands rooting for the Dirty Birds to win their first Super Bowl championship. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, but everyone seemed to have had a good time during the biggest football night of the year.

Atlanta Rise Up!

Atlanta “OGs” Ludacris, Big Boi, T.I. and Dungeon Family rappers Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown were front-and-center at the NRG Stadium in Houston, TX to cheer on the Falcons.

Industry exec and Atlanta native Shanti Das came decked out in her Falcons gear.

Well look who came out of hiding! Big Boi's Outkast bandmate Andre 3000 made a surprise appearance at Super Bowl LI.

What’s football without family? Tip had all of his sons --including Domani, Messiah, Major& King -- with him to enjoy the game. Looks like they left the ladies at home and made it an all boys night out.

Rapper Jeezy was in the mix to cheer on his Falcons.

R&B crooner and huge Falcon fan Usher recreated a Falcons look from when he was 5-years-old.

It’s still all family love between Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Foster’s kids. He hit the field with Tameka’s oldest son Ryan Glover Jr. (who just nabbed a football scholarship to UPENN) and his dad Ryan Glover Sr.

The YBF actor is filling the shoes of Kiefer Sutherland who played Jack Bauer in the original “24” series. It’s a really big deal that a black actor is taking over the role that was originally played by a white man, especially since Corey is still considered a newbie in the game so to speak.

Corey, who also stars in “The Walking Dead,” sat down with YBF correspondent James Terrell to chat it up about his kick a** role, his hot co-star Anna Diop and whether or not he’s single. Take note ladies!

Remy Ma and her husband Papoose suffered a devastating loss when they learned they wouldn’t be able to have the baby they longed for. How they felt once they got the news and more inside…

Almost two weeks ago, we learned Remy Ma and Papoose were pregnantand gearing up to have their first child together. But, the happy time turned into a tragic ending when they found out the pregnancy had to be terminated due to it being an ectopic pregnancy.

Not only did they lose their child, Remy had to undergo emergency surgery to have her fallopian tube removed. Remy and Pap shared some of what happened on “LAHH” and Rem even shared an Instagram post following the episode in an effort to help other women who may have gone through the same thing.

Now, the Hip Hop couple is opening up to share their raw emotions following the distressing news and how they coped on today's episode of “The Real.” Remy joined the ladies as co-host and her husband Papoose was on as today’s special guest.

Papoose, who’s always by his wife’s side, called the day he learned they weren’t going to have the baby the saddest day of his life.

“I mean, that was the saddest day of my life,” Papoose said. “When she told me the news, I was extremely happy, we was thinking of names. I mean, I would wake up in the morning and the first thing I would see is my future child, you know? And um, for it to take a turn like that, it was just like a rollercoaster and it went down. But um, honestly, when I got the news, she had to go into emergency surgery. So I was devastated about my child, but I was just like praying you know, ‘I hope my wife is going to be okay.’ I just wanted her to be okay.”

We learned Remy went through the exact same situation as a teenager and had to have one of her fallopian tubes removed. As a result of her most recent scare, she now has to use IVF if she and Pap try for another baby.

“The bad thing with me is that this happened to me before when I was a kid,” Remy said. “I was a teenager the first time I got pregnant. And I had an ectopic pregnancy then. So they removed... I literally passed out. Like I thought I just had bad cramps and I passed out.”

She continued:

“I went to the hospital, they did a sonogram and it was black. I literally was bleeding internally. They rushed me to surgery and when I came out they was like, 'It was an ectopic, you know, we removed the tube.' But I was a kid, I didn’t know what that meant I was like, ‘Okay.’”

So sad. But, we love how they have been so supportive of one another through such a trying time.

Diddy is fresh out of knee surgery, and he didn't let a cane cramp his party style.  Get into his all-out Super Bowl bash inside...

He's the king of Deleon Tequila, so it's only right Diddy broke out some bottles and poured up while watching the Patriots take home the trophy.  

The Bad Boy went straight Harlem and rocked his sweatsuit and fur with a cane to chill with the homies (and his bae Cassie) at his L.A. mansion last night. 

Miguel and French Montana came through too.

Sevyn Streeter also came out to kick it (her label homie Chris Brown was there too) and she posed it up with the host with the most and Miguel and his fiance Nazanin:

Dads on duty! JR Smith gives an update on his daughter Dakota, who was born prematurely, and it’s melting out hearts. Meanwhile, Chris Bosh was on daddy duty with his daughter Trinity Bosh. More inside…

NBA player JR Smith (and his wife Jewel) welcomed his baby girl Dakota in October 2016. She was born five months early, weighing in at just 1 pound. The Cleveland Cavalier baller has kept his fans updated on her progress since her birth and today, he enjoyed a heartwarming milestone.

The NBA champion posted up a sweet picture holding his baby girl on his chest captioning, “Today is one of the greatest days of my life. Today I get to hold my youngest for the first time! GOD is GREAT! #DakotaStrong”

Aww!

The father-of-three, who’s currently recovering from a thumb injury, is getting in as much time as he can with his daughter while on injury reserve.

Last month, he shared a flick of his daughter Demi looking into the incubator and smiling at her baby sister:

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh is teaching his daughter Trinity Bosh how a man should treat her when the time comes.

Bosh, whose NBA career is up in limbo following a blood-clot condition, got all dressed up to take his daughter to a daddy-daughter dance. Before heading off to the event, Bosh gifted his daughter with flowers and corsage. Little Trinity looked super excited too! Aww...date night with dad.

“Power” just added a new character to its roster.

Following his stint on “House of Lies,” Larenz Tate has nabbed a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of “Power.” Woot!

The Hollywood vet will join the STARZ series as Councilman Rashad Tate, a city councilman from Jamaica Queens, according to Deadline.

Hmm…we wonder if Larenz’s character will be a friend or foe of James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick). We still have a ways to go before we find out. “Power” won’t return until the summer, but adding Larenz to the cast just makes us even more anxious for the new season.

Kanye West appears to be DONE with president Donald Trump. My, how two weeks in office changes things up.

The PABLO rapper has deleted all traces of Trump on his Twitter timeline. You’ll recall, Yeezy was all “ultralight beams” after Trump won the election. Before election day, he also tweeted in support of collaborating with Trump to find solutions to certain issues. Now, he has flipped the script.

Sources tell TMZ, it was Yeezy’s decision to have the tweets deleted following Trump's travel ban aimed at Muslim countries. We also wonder if Trump’s idea of sending in the Feds into Chicago had something to do with it as well. Hmph.

Yesterday...

Yeezy brought his wife Kim Kardashian West, North West and Saint West (not pictured) to his manager’s house for a Super Bowl party in L.A. Ye ditched his blonde hair and it appears he's going all natural. We see a few gray strands peeking through.

The West Family was dressed comfortably in sweats to enjoy the football festivities. We know they ate good.

The “Famous” rapper was seen making his way to Equinox in Encino, California with his fitness trainer in tow. He must be working on his summer bod.

By the way, the Chi-town native will unveil his Yeezy Season 5 collection during New York Fashion Week. He will debut his threads at Pier 59 Studios at 3pm EST (it was originally scheduled for 5pm EST) on February 5th.

25 years ago, supermodel Naomi Campbell worked her model magic for GAP’s 1992 campaign (above, left). Now, she’s back like she never left, looking just as effortlessly gorgeous as she did back in the 90s (above, right).

The 26-year-old stunna is featured in GAP’s new Generation GAP campaign, promoting a limited edition 90s Archive Reissue collection. She recreates her 90s look in a plain white pocket t-shirt and short denim shorts topping her look off with long black locs and a center part.

In the campaign clip, Naomi joins celebrity kids Evan Ross, TJ Mizell, Rumer Willis, Lizzy Jager, Chelsea Tyler and Coco Gordon. The celebuspawns break out in an a cappella version of Color Me Badd’s “All 4 Love.” Each celebrity yougin’ has a parent who appeared in a 90s-era GAP ad. Naomi brings the throwback love has a nod to the past and to celebrate the next generation of tastemakers.

In the series' second season, the Greenleaf family tree will split at the root as Jacob (Lamman Rucker, "Why Did I Get Married?") ventures off to begin his new career with long-time rival church Triumph Ministries, breaking faith with his father, Bishop James Greenleaf (Emmy-winner Keith David, "Community") while his mother, Lady Mae Greenleaf (Golden Globe nominee and Emmy-winner Lynn Whitfield, "The Josephine Baker Story"), struggles with Jacob's decision to abandon the family. Meanwhile, after exposing her Uncle Mac's (GregAlan Williams, "The Accountant") crimes, but failing to bring him to justice, Grace "Gigi" Greenleaf (Merle Dandridge, "The Night Shift") finds herself intrigued with someone new, Darius Nash (guest star Rick Fox, "Dope"), a local journalist who's been closely following the ongoing threats plaguing the Greenleaf empire. Oprah Winfrey ("Selma") also returns in her guest starring role as Mavis McCready, the sister of Lady Mae Greenleaf and a close confidante to Grace Greenleaf.

Today’s episode of “The Real” is full of surprises.

TheYBF.com’s founder Natasha Eubanks makes an appearance on the show to spill some tea on the current Hot Topics. Woot! Natasha dishes on the GRAMMY boycott, The Weeknd’s relationship with Selena Gomez and Nicki Minaj’s L.A. mansion getting robbed. Check your local listings!

Following Natasha’s segment, R&B singer Keyshia Cole joined her bestie Remy Ma, who has appeared on the show all week as a guest co-host, and “The Real” co-hosts to chat about life after divorce from former NBA baller Daniel “Boobie” Gibson.

The “I Remember” singer revealed she and Boobie are on very good terms as they co-parent their son Daniel Gibson Jr., aka DJ. She said she’s proud of the she and Boobie have been able to put their issues aside for the sake of their son.

“We’re friends. We’re friends. We’re co-parenting pretty amazingly for our son. And um, I’m really proud of us… of us both, honestly, all three of us actually. You know, we’re all trying to work it out. It’s tough, you know, but we’re friends and we do it for him. You know, DJ.”

When asked if their romantic relationship is over, Keyshia confirmed they are DUNZO. Then Keyshia’s bestie Remy chimed in,“We’re taking numbers… by the way. She put me in charge. She put me in charge of finding the person for her.”

Then Keyshia said, “I did. I did. I did. I’m a little picky.”

Hidden Figures is currently the top grossing Oscar contender zooming past La La Land. Woot! Get the numbers, plus Shonda Rhimes’ new comedy project with Luvvie Ajayi inside…

Looks like that SAG Award for Best Ensemble helped Hidden Figures nab the top grossing Oscar contender spot.

Fresh from the epic win, Hidden Figures has reportedly surpassed best picture frontrunner La La Land to become the top-grossing best picture Oscar nominee of the year. It’s the first time the film about a team of African-American women mathematicians/space heroes has topped the musical.

Hidden Figures, starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer& Octavia Spencer, has risen to $119 million in total box office sales while La La Land has raked in $118 million, following last weekend’s box office numbers. By the way, Hidden Figures hit theaters January 6th and La La hit theaters December 25th.

According to Indie Wire, we can expect Hidden Figures to topple over $150 million or more from now till the Oscars. The film has been nominated for three Oscars, including Best Picture (up against La La Land), Best Supporting Actress (Octavia Spencer) and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Award winning writer Luvvie Ajayi, creator of AwesomeLuvvie.com, will have her book morphed into a new cable comedy series. And Shonda Rhimes is behind the project.

According to Deadline, the Shondaland honcho and producer Betsy Beers have acquired the rights to Luvvie’s NY Times Best Seller “I’m Judging You: The Do Better Manual” for a comedy under Shondaland’s overall deal at ABC Studios and the cable division ABC Signature. Yep, Shondaland is taking on comedy.
