Tyler Perry struck box office gold with his latest flick Boo! A Madea Halloween. For the 2nd week straight, the Halloween film remains in the No. 1 spot, beating out Tom Hanks’ action film Inferno.

Boo! A Madea Halloween raked in an estimated $16.7 million over the weekend, scaring off the third installment of the Da Vinci Code franchise for the No.1 spot. Inferno brought in an estimated $15 million and based on studio estimates, it bombed for its debut weekend.It's being reported the film is doing better overseas, but Tyler has the U.S. box office on lock.

Tyler Perry’s Halloween blockbuster is the filmmaker's biggest hit since his 2009’s Madea Goes to Jail. The film made an impressive $52 million over the last 10 days. Sheesh!

Haters will say it's a fluke.  Congrats Tyler!

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is TIIIED! (no typo)

Following the Panthers game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, the reigning MVP took the podium during a post-game press conference to get some things off his chest. He’s fed up with the NFL referees who are not calling penalties when players from the opposing team hit him late in the play. He's tired of it.  “Enough is enough,” said Cam.

He said the refs are starting to take the fun out the game and that he doesn’t feel safe on the field. So what is he going to do? He plans on talking to NFL commissioner Roger Gooddell about it.

"It’s not fun. It’s really taking the fun out of the game for me," Cam said. "At times, I don’t even feel safe. And enough is enough. I plan on talking to Commissioner Goodell about this. And I don’t know what I have to do."

You’ll recall, Cam suffered a concussion after a hit to the head during a game against the Atlanta Falcons on October 2nd (in which the Panthers lost).

He continued:

“The story of my life ever since I came in is, ‘Oh, oh, well we missed that one. I’m sorry. I’ll try to get it.’ That’s bullcrap. As a player in this league, if we do something stupid, we get fined. If you something derogatory to somebody else, we get fined. I can’t keep accepting, ‘Oh, we missed that one. Or, ‘I apologize for doing that.’ Or, ‘I didn’t see it.’ That’s horsescrap.”

He went on to air out his frustrations about seeing OTHER quarterbacks getting flags thrown for less physical hits:

“When you constantly see the hits. When you constantly see flags being picked up. When you constantly see flags not being thrown. To see other quarterbacks getting it, lesser hits, less physical hits then it’s taking the fun out for me. I’m just being honest with that.”

He very likely has a point, and we have our thoughts as to why it could be happening.  But since he said in GQ that he doesn't feel he's treated any differently as a black QB....

When a baller puts his word into action, it more than warms the heart, especially when it comes to educating the next generation. Go inside for the details about Colin Kaepernick’s “Know Your Rights” camp….

NFL baller Colin Kaepernick doesn’t just TALK about it. He IS about it. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback hosted a "Know Your Rights Camp" in Oakland Saturday with over 100 kids in attendance. The day camp included sessions that covered a range of topics like how to interact with the police, college prep, financial success, nutrition and more. 

The baller put it all together himself with the help of a few friends, and did so on his bye week. 

Yes, Colin has been thrown in the spotlight for his silent protest of the National Anthem in an effort to raise awareness to racial and social injustices. But, this wasn’t a “media” event, per se.  He also turned down corporate sponsors because he didn't want the message to get skewed.

According to writer Shaun King of the NY Times, Colin and his friends have been working behind-the-scenes planning this camp for the Oakland kiddies.  And he wanted it kept quiet until after camp. 

“Please don’t say anything about it online,” Colin told Shaun.“I’m not doing this for the press and I don’t want it to become a media event so that the kids and the families can feel like this is just for them.”

Colin and friends shared the popular 10-point plan, inspired by the Black Panther Party, that each child has the right to know. The 10 rights were written on the back of the t-shirts given to the campers. They are:

1. You have the right to be free.

2. You have the right to be healthy.

3. You have the right to be brilliant.

4. You have the right to be safe.

5. You have the right to be loved.

6. You have the right to be courageous.

7. You have the right to be alive.

8. You have the right to be trusted.

9. You have the right to be educated.

10. You have the right to know your rights.

"We want to teach you today about financial literacy, how you can pursue higher education, how you can be physically fit and healthy," said Colin. "We will talk about police brutality, and what to do about it, but we also have lawyers, professors, health and fitness experts, because we want you to be able to live the life of your dreams."

Colin hopes to bring more camps just like this across the nation to school the kiddies on their rights and how to live productive lives. He told the campers,

"This is just the beginning man. What we've done here today in Oakland, we want to do all over the country, in cities all over this country, by bringing together local leaders, local activists and local youth, and not only giving them the skills and lessons they need, but we want to show them how much we love and value them."

 

I had the honor of helping out at #ColinKaepernick's first Know Your Rights Camp event yesterday. @yourrightscamp Seeing the kids interact and ask questions, along with Colin and Nessa's passion for helping our youth made the event everything it needed to be. I'm still recovering (I'm exhausted lol), so I'll end it with this: Whatever negative comments are said about this event in the news over the next few days, don't allow the media to distract you from the real message being sent to our youth - To know their rights, to respect their own and others, and to encourage self-love. If you choose to deflect and complain about motives or question, you're a part of the problem. NOTE: This post is not debatable. Please don't try and convince me otherwise. TROLLS WILL BE BLOCKED. They brought the 90s with costumes of TLC, Lil Kim, Aaliyah, Missy Elliot and Janet Jackson. But they put a 2016 spin on it when they all got into formation for to “JuJu On The Beat.” It was a no brainer who each of them were dressed up as.

Meet Bar-BEY!

Each year Beyoncé Knowles goes all out for Halloween, and this year was no different.  While everyone (and we mean EVERYONE) was dressing up like Formation/Hold Up/Lemonade 'Yonce for Halloween, the "Pretty Hurts" singer was dressing up like Barbie.  Not that much of a stretch, but she still nailed it. Chick even posed it up inside of a doll box for her glam-Barbie theme.

Her black & white corset bodysuit was actually custom made.  Her stylist Zerina Ackers tapped Real Domino Couture & In House Atelier to concoct the costume, and clearly, they nailed it.

She had Jay dress up as the Black Kin and Blue Ivy as rock Barbie before they headed out to a Halloween party in NYC.  We live!

Before Halloween, Bey and co. dressed up in their fave looks from the 80's/90's for cousin Angie Beyince's throwback birthday party the other night:

The three generations of Knowles ladies went as Salt-N-Pepa!  Bey donned her red shiny catsuit and fly 90's jacket and hat with gold sneakers to transform into Pepa.  Miss Tina went as Salt, and Blue Ivy was Spinderella.

Daytime talk show host Steve Harvey took us all the back to 1988 with his “Coming To America” themed costume for a special episode of his talk show to celebrate Halloween. Can you believe it has been 28 years?!

He invited Coming To America stars Vanessa Bell Calloway and Shari Headly on the show to dish about the cult classic film and BOTH ladies appear to have not aged a bit. Steve recreated James Earl Jones role as King Jaffe Joffer, Vanessa reprised her iconic role as Eddie Murphy’s intended bride Princess Imani and Shari reprised her role as Eddie Murphy’s love interest Lisa McDowell. NAILED it.

Beyonce paid homage to the cult classic when she wore a similar dress to Vanessa’s dress in the film at the Met gala and she dressed up her daughter Blue Ivy as Princess Imani for Halloween last year.

Since going viral, Vanessa’s team decided to have her do a photoshoot dressed as Princess Imani. But, we’ve never seen the editorals….until now. Check it below:

Nas paid homage to HaileSelassie, former Emperor of Ethiopia, for Halloween this year and pulled it off quite nicely. He was spotted making his way inside celeb hotspot Catach in L.A. yesterday for a Halloween bash.

Last year, rapper The Game dressed up as WONDALAND artist Jidenna, naturally, since they both favor one another. So this year, Jidenna returned the favor and got dressed up as The Game. Ha!

Pregnant Blac Chyna transformed into her fiancé Rob Kardashian for Halloween and she had one of her friends dress up like her. Chyna even dressed up her son King Cairo as his future step-dad Rob and she made his DIY Gucci slides.

Thousands of local children and children of military families raided the South Lawn in their costumes for a fun evening of trick-or-treating, but one kiddie in particular caught our eye.

The little boy found the perfect way to honor our Commander-in-Chief. He transformed into a mini President Obama for Halloween and he was the absolute cutest! Come thru Presidential Fab.

Not only did the boy dress up as POTUS, he had his whole family join in on the tribute.  Adorbs!

For about an hour, POTUS passed out Hershey Kisses with an official White House label, while FLOTUS, styling in Phillip Lim, handed out cookies to the youngsters:

By the way, FLOTUS, who is a stickler about eating healthy, officially gave everyone permission to eat candy on Halloween:

For the first time ever, the public gets to see the private second floor of the White House all thanks to The Obamas.  We've been dying to see what their REAL living space looks like, and we're definitely impressed....

No president has ever shared the First Fam's living space with the public, until now.

The First Family has spent the last eight years living in the White House. And now, we’re getting a full look into their living headquarters that span the second floor.

The Fam let Architectural Digest inside their home within the White House on the second floor where the First Family - including Sasha, Malia and dogs Bo and Sunny – have called home for the last two presidential terms.

We recall First Lady Michelle saying in a very early interview that the White House needed some updating, and that she did.  Just like her personal style, her home decor style is impeccable.  Luxe, but not gaudy.  Calm, but not bland.

Each room is absolutely stunning. L.A. interior designer Michael Smith decorated the rooms as well as the Oval Office (which is why the Oval Room below looks quite similar to the Oval Office).

“Because of Michael Smith, the private residence of the White House has not only reflected our taste but also upheld the proud history of this building. Above all, it has truly felt like a home for our family,” says Mrs. Obama in praise of the Los Angeles–based decorator, who has collaborated closely with the First Family during their tenure in Washington, D.C.

Smith returns the compliment by describing his work as a response to the First Lady’s progressive spirit: “Mrs. Obama often talks about bringing new voices into the national conversation, and that idea informed many of the decisions we made,” he says. “We selected artists and designers who would never have appeared in the White House before.”

"Above all, it has truly felt like a home for our family," FLOTUS said. She said Michael was able to reflect their family’s tastes all while respecting the history of the White House.

Pictured above is The Treaty Room, snapped in August 2016. According to the AP, The Treaty Room is filled with memorabilia including one of President Barack Obama's two Grammy Awards, family photos, and a personalized football. It’s also where our Commander-in-Chief often retreats late at night. He uses the room’s namesake table, which has been in the White House since 1869, as a desk.

POTUS likes to say the White House is the “people’s house.”  But the bedroom -- that's a "sanctuary" Michael says.

If you want to deck out your house like The Obamas, their canopy bed is curtained with Larsen and Jasper fabrics and outfitted with Nancy Koltes bed linens. The mirrors and sofa fabric are also by Jasper. 

Michael told the mag, "You really want to make sure that the president of the United States gets a good night's sleep."

Above is the Yellow Oval Room where designer Michael Smith mellowed the room with smoky browns, greens, golds, and blues.

And this is the Old Family Dining room where the Obamas dine when they're home. Beautiful!

After two decades and about 18 seasons in the NBA, 41-year-old Ray Allen is officially hanging up his jersey.  He's been a free agent since his 2014 loss with The Heat in the NBA Finals.  Today, he's ready to call it a wrap.  But h's not going without imparting some wisdom to the masses.  The UCONN baller turned 2 time NBA champ is looking forward to being a dad to his 5 kids, a husband and focusing on all the things he sacrificed for his long career.

On the hardships of being a military brat:

You’re used to being the kid that nobody knows. The majority of your existence has been about trying to find new friends, trying to show people that you’re a good person and that you mean no harm. You’re used to being an outsider.

You’ve gotten pretty good at it.

This time is different though. It’s the middle of the school year. Everybody already knows one another. You’re at a critical age, and kids are just.…

Kids are just mean.

You’ve grown up in a military household your whole life. Until now, your friends were all from military families. You walked around the neighborhood with your I.D. card hanging around your neck like a dog tag in case some unfamiliar MPs rolled by. You spent your formative elementary school years in Britain. So you don’t even realize it, but to some people, you speak very proper.

When you step off that school bus in South Carolina tomorrow and open your mouth, those kids are going to look at you like you’re an alien.

“You talk like a white boy,” they’ll say.

On how to deal with the toughest part of his life:

You’ll be the enemy to a lot of people simply because you’re not from around there.

This will be both the toughest and the best thing that will ever happen to you.

What I want you to do is this: Go to the basketball court. Stay at the basketball court. You can build your entire existence there.

On the naysayers he'll encounter:

When you start getting attention from colleges, some of your own teammates will say things like, “UConn? You’ll sit on the bench for four years.”

Just because you don’t drink, they’ll say, “Man, you’re gonna be an alcoholic once you get to college. You won’t be ready. All they do is drink there.”

A lot of people don’t want to see you succeed. Don’t get into fistfights with these kids. Trust me, it will accomplish nothing.

Instead, remember exactly who said those things.

Remember how they said it.

Remember their faces.

Keep these voices inside your head and use them as fuel every single day when you wake up.

And the voices telling you you’re the man? Those are the voices to keep out. When you start getting some national attention in high school, you’ll hear things like, “Ray’s jumpshot is God-given.”

Listen: God doesn’t care whether you make your next jump shot.

God will give you a lot of things in life, but he’s not going to give you your jump shot. Only hard work will do that.

On being the unpopular teammate

Most nights, you won’t go out. Your friends will ask why. You won’t drink alcohol, ever. People will look at you funny. When you get to the NBA, you won’t always play cards with the boys. Some people will assume you’re not being a good teammate. You’ll even have to put your family on the back-burner for your job.

Most of the time, you will be alone.

That won’t make you the most popular person. Some people simply won’t understand. Is the cost worth it?

Only you can answer that.

On the rewards:

The hell you experience when you get off that bus will be temporary. Basketball will take you far away from that school yard. You will become far more than just a basketball player. Solange joined forces with writer/professor Melissa Harris-Perry at Stanford University for an intimate discussion on an array of black women topics. More inside…

Singer Solange rolled up to Stanford University for a much-needed discussion on an array of topics that affect women of color. Joining in on the culture-driven conversation was ELLE editor-at-large/professor Melissa Harris-Perry, Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest) and journalist Frannie Kelley.

Solo, whose album A Seat At The Table reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, is no stranger to using her platform to shed light on racial and social issues affecting the black community. Her new body of of work addresses how the country draws inspiration from black culture, but doesn’t necessarily value black life.  Speak!

“Community and conversation are really at the core of my album,” Solange shared with the audience. 

The panel went on to discuss the concept of #BlackGirlMagic on a deeper level, how far we’ve come 50-years after the Black is Beautiful movement, the demands expected by high-profile contemporary women and much more.

Don't forget, Solange will be hitting the "Saturday Night Live" stage on November 5th as the musical guest to perform a few tracks from her new album.

Well what do we have here?! Boo'd up for Halloween? (How appropriate.)  Christina Milian and Nick Cannon are totally hanging out again.  And they got THISCLOSE at a Halloween party.  Pics and deets inside...

Apparently, Nick Cannon isn't shy about letting the world know he and his ex Christina are seeing each other again. He posted the above pic of them together -- looking quite cozy -- on Sunday.

This was the same makeup she wore to her girl Nicole Williams' Halloween themed birthday party Sunday night.

A little over a week ago, Nick and Christina went to dinner together and danced it up at a Jamaican club.  TMZ says:

The former flames were spotted at a joint called Lorna's for Seafood Tuesday. We're told they showed up around 1:30 AM ... cut a rug for about an hour and took off.

Interestingly, less than 2 weeks ago, about a day or so before they linked up for dinner, Christina went on the Wendy Show and spoke about Nick.  When she was asked which ex she would spy on if she could be invisible for a day, she named her "first real love" Mr. Cannon.  Hmph.

Big Sean is still talking ish abut his ex, and now he's exposing her for being plastic. Plus he's got words for Kid Cudi too.  Get his new track "No More Interviews" inside...

Big Sean is dropping new music left and right.  He recently debuted a new track where he gets some things off his chest about his frenemy Kid Cudi and his ex-fiance Naya Rivera. 

While Naya may be married to someone else now with a baby, Sean still is (just a little) perturbed by her.  he raps on his new "No More interviews: track:

"I won't tell them all the other parts about you that's plastic/ This my last time putting my ex in a song even though the last one went triple platinum," referencing his hit "I Don't F**k With You."

Then he had some words for his former G.O.O.D. Music labelmate Kid Cudi, who is currently in rehab battling mental issues and suicidal thoughts.

"Cudi and 'Ye, what happened to our family ways, though?" Sean raps

"When I put you on that song with Nas, you had told me that you was forever grateful/ And that we brothers, so it hurt to hit the internet to find out that me and you don't [expletive] with each other," the rapper said about their 2013 track "First Chain."

He went on saying, "Over a miscommunication that probably could be fixed with a five-minute conversation/ I'm still praying for ya, though, I guess I charged it to the game."

Gabrielle Union is hot on the media trail to promote her upcoming holiday film Almost Christmas, set to hit theaters on November 11th.

The gorgeous actress, who celebrated her 44th birthday on Saturday, stopped by “Live With Kelly” today to spill a few details about her recent birthday bash. Over the weekend, Gabby, her husband Dwyane Wade and several of her friends linked up to celebrate her birthday with an epic night of dancing.

Every year, the “Being Mary Jane” starlet likes to do a theme for her birthday. And this year’s theme was all about “Snapbacks, Sneakers and BODY Rolls.” She said she wanted to do a party that promoted dancing and that would keep everyone on the dance floor. Gabby had to school Kelly and guest co-host Scott Wolf on what a “body roll” is.

Deep sigh.  Lil Wayne is back at his foolish antics again.  Nightline decided to interview him, and it all went to hell on a platter when he started talking about Black Lives Matter.

We're not sure what Lil Wayne was sipping or popping before this here interview, but....ugh.  After his tragic "Undisputed" interview a few months ago, Weezy is once again saying he doesn't have anything to do with the Black Lives Matter movement.  Why?  Because he thinks everything is ALL good with race relations since he has white fans who have made him "rich."

During his Nightline interview last night, he was asked about Black Lives Matter.  He was told the movement started because many feel America didnt know that black lives do indeed matter.  His response:

That just sounds weird, I don't know, that you put a name on it. It's not a name, it's not "whatever whatever."  It's somebody got shot by the policeman for a f'd up reason.

I'm a young black rich mf'er.  If that don't let you know that America understand black mf'ers matter these days....this man white and he filming me.  I'm a n***a.  I don't know what you mean.  Don't come at me with that bullsh*t ma'am.  My life matter.  Especially to my b*tches."

I don't feel connected to a d**n thing that aint got nothing to do with me.  If you do, you crazy.  If it aint got nothing to do with me, I aint connected to it.

Apparently Lil Wayne equates white suburban folks (who magically discovered his music damn near a decade after BLACK people made him a star) paying for tickets to his show with racism not existing.  We don't have time for social studies and common sense lessons, but good luck with that train of thought Wayne.  Watch what happens if your star falls for good.

He wrapped the interview by pulling out a red scarf saying, "This is what I feel connected to, I'm a gang banger, you feel me?"

Whet?!

Interestingly, Wayne led the crowd in a Black Lives Matter chant at his concert back in August:

In “we didn’t know that” news, Hill Harper once dated Taraji P. Henson and Regina Hall! Now, he’s spilling tea on why he and Taraji never married. Get it all inside….

So this news totally went under the radar. Actor/author Hill Harper used to date two of Hollywood’s top YBF actresses.

Yep, they totally kept it on the low. Now, Hill is dishing on his past high-profile relationships on an upcoming episode of TVOne’s “Unsung.”

The Harvard graduate, who landed on PEOPLE magazine’s World’s Most Sexiest Men list twice, talked about his romance with When the Bough Breaks actress Regina Hall and “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson.

“Regina Hall is one of the most beautiful, funny, amazing women," the author/actor gushed about Regina. “Yeah, we were dating during that time.”

Oh?!

The single bachelor then explained why he and Taraji never got married saying:

“Taraji Henson and I were in a relationship for about a year and a half, two years. Wonderful relationship. Just because you’re in a healthy great relationship that ends doesn’t means it wasn’t successful or it was a failure. Not all relationships are meant to end in marriage.”

He has a point.  But who knew?!

Get into Oakland Raider Donald Penn's I'm-trying-to-in-my-wife-back moves after he allegedly impregnated a reality star inside...

In a typical cheater-gets-apologetic move, NFL baller Donald Penn is pulling out all the stops to win his estranged wife back after he allegedly knocked up a "Bad Girls Club" star.  Now, Dominique Penn is bragging about her new Bentley he just bought her....a week after she filed for divorce.

Just days after she blasted him (and the allegedly knocked up mistress) on social media and said she's sticking by him, she filed for divorce on October 20th.  TMZ reports:

In court docs, obtained by TMZ Sports, Dominique -- married to Donald since June 2012 -- lists "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

In the docs -- filed on October 20th -- she asks for spousal support and joint custody of their 3 kids.

It's interesting to note -- Donald has reportedly made over $47 million in his NFL career, so we wouldn't be surprised if it was cheaper to keep her.

Now, it looks like Dominique had ANOTHER change of heart, all thanks to an Instagram apology from her hubby and a new car.  Yesterday, both Dominique and Donald posted about their reconciliation (again).

Dominique was on cloud 9 after copping her new car, and based on the caption below, she's back to being his "day 0" and talking about their "real love." Apparently, a Bentley can do that for some chicks:

Rap mogul Snoop Dogg went all out this yeark. The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” got all dressed up as a giant baby attached to the back of an elderly woman. And it’s hilarious.

Snoop went all out rocking a blue bib, onesie, baby bonnet and gray Ugg boots. And he didn’t forget his baby bottle, which likely had something special inside. The rapper, who turned 45 last week, made his way to new celeb hot spot CATCH to celebrate Halloween.
