Teyana Taylor is riding high after her jaw dropping performance in Kanye West’s “Fade” video that premiered at the 2016 MTV VMAs. Now, she’s booking new gigs.

VH1 just announced the “Maybe” singer will be joining the cast of the new scripted series “The Breaks,” based on the hit film that aired earlier this year.

The original film aired in January and was a hit. It followed three young friends fulfilling their hip hop dreams in New York City in 1990. The series will continue to explore their triumph and heartbreak trying to make their mark in a new and complex hip hop culture.

The singer/actress (who has starred in films such as Brotherly Love and Madea's Big Happy Family) will round out the cast in a recurring role that includes “90210” star Mack Wilds, lead star Afton Williamson, “Empire” star Sinqua Walls, “The Wire” actor Wood Harris, “Ballers” star Antoine Harris, “The Magicians” actor David Call and “Sex & The City” star Evan Handler.

Production for the new series is already underway and it's expected to debut in January 2017. Will you be tuning in?

R&B singer Michel’le is gearing up to tell her life story in a new LIFETIME biopic titled Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Me.

According to Billboard:

Surviving Compton will tackle the Los Angeles native's journey through the turbulent days of N.W.A's stardom after being signed to Eazy E's Ruthless Records, becoming Dr. Dre's girlfriend and forming romantic ties to Suge Knight. Michel'le, best known for her 1990 hit single "No More Lies," will be played by Lincoln Heights star Rhyon Nicole Brown.

The first sneak peek shows the singer ripping off a “Parental Advisory” sign off of her lips following a message that reads "Behind the men who changed hip-hop is the woman who knows the truth."

The former reality star is ready to tell her truth at all costs.  Y'all know she felt some kind of way after shewas totally left out of Straight Outta Compton.  She claims she's not mad at that fact, but instead has an issue with Dr. Dre's alleged abusive side not being shown.

The made-for-tv biopic will feature actors Curtis Hamilton as Dr. Dre, Scream actor Jamie Kennedy as music manager Jerry Heller, and R. Marcos Taylor will reprise his role as Suge Knight after playing the star in the breakout film Straight Outta Compton.

Chris Brown is out of jail, and he's capitalizing on the recent publicity storm surrounding his arrest.  As he maintains his innocence, he dropped new music.  Check out "What Would You Do" and the latest deets surrounding Chris' accuser inside....

Chris slid out of jail after posting $250,000 bail for his assault with a deadly weapon charge, and right onto Soundcloud. 

After "beauty queen" Baylee Curran accused the singer of pulling a gun on her while kicking her out of his house after she was "simply admiring Chris' friend's jewelry" as she states, Chris and his home were under a thorough investigation by the L.A. homicide-robbery authorities.  They formally arrested Chris late last night.  Today, he posted bail and says he's innocent. 

Billboard states:

The 27-year-old singer was released from jail on Tuesday night (Aug. 30) on $250,000 bail following an hourslong standoff with police at his multi-million Tarzana residence in California. Brown was released at 11:19 p.m., according to Los Angeles County jail records. His first court appearance in the matter is scheduled for Sept. 20 at Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center.

As for Baylee, over the last 24 hours, her reputation and credibility have been called into question.  She made her media rounds just hours after the incidentWhile she was the 2016 Miss California Regional beauty queen, she apparently had her crown snatched for breaking the moral contract.  Apparently she snapped pics that were way too risque for a title holder.

“She won in April but we stripped her of the title in June. She is not Miss Regional California 2016,” said CEO Lowona Crawford. “We have asked her many times to please return the sash and crown, but she has ignored us.”

She also claims to hold the 2016 Miss California USA Ambassador title, but the CEO of the pageant burst her bubble saying:

“We don’t know why she says she won that,” Crawford said.

TMZ says:

The director told her she'd give her another chance, but we're told Baylee repeatedly screwed up and deceived them. She would fail to show for community functions ... while photographers were tagging photos of her frolicking on a boat. She was also MIA for events ... choosing various photo shoots instead.

The director had enough 2 months into her reign, and told Baylee she was stripping her of her crown, but Baylee shot back, "You're the director. You can make or bend the rules. I'm keeping the crown and we can move on."

She still hasn't returned the crown.

Not only that, the chick is a suspect in a grand larceny case at the Plaza Hotel in L.A. 

The woman claiming Chris Brown pulled a gun on her is wanted in NYC for questioning in connection with criminal theft ... for allegedly stealing a fancy designer purse at a swanky hotel.

The incident could be significant in the Chris Brown case, because alleged victim Baylee Curran claims a certain piece of jewelry that caught her eye triggered the events that led to her 911 call.

Baylee was vacationing with a few friends at The Plaza back in 2013 when they began arguing in the hotel. According to police docs, Baylee snatched a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from one of the girls and ran out of the hotel.

The purse contained $200 in cash, as well as credit cards and a Michael Kors wallet.

What in the world....

The friend of hers who brought her to the party, Christian Bonilla, came forward on social media saying she's a chick you don't want to piss off.  He also revealed  that after he left the party (and she stayed there), she sent him a message apparently after the incident with Chris saying:

"This mother******'s about to go down" ...

The Wests were all over NYC before jetting off to Canada for Kanye's Saint Pablo tour stops.  Get their crazy week of looks and those adorable kiddies inside....

The Wests are in Canada for Yeezy's shows this week.  He took over Toronto the other night and has Montreal tomorrow night.  But before he and Kim went north, they were all over the NYC streets.  In interesting looks.

The Wests are making NYC home base for a while as the next week or so of Kanye's shows are all in the NY, DC, etc. area.  So instead of staying at the multi million apartment Kanye has, they opted for bigger space.  So Air Bnb reportedly hooked them up with a $10K/night penthouse.  A Penthouse that's worth $25 million. What are they paying?  ZERO.

The Wests landed a sponsorship where Air BnB gets free publicity (like the mansion they gave Kim's sister Kylie for her Turks & Caicos b-day trip) in exchange for their star power bringing attention to their company.

According to NY Mag (and the pics), the Penthouse is utterly ridiculous:

The apartment, which is located in TriBeCa, includes five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, private pool, sauna, and seven terraces — which, since I last counted, is seven more terraces than I have in my apartment.

In other news, the Super Bowl winning quarterback was asked what he thought about 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick's refusal to stand during the National Anthem. Here's what he had to say:

"First of all, there’s no perfect answer. I understand and respect the cause because there’s so much going on in America right now — so much hurt, so much pain. And ultimately I understand what he’s doing.”

“For me, I love the flag. I love the National Anthem because it’s an emotional time for me because I’m so grateful I get to play on the football field. And every time I get to put my hand on my heart, it’s truly an honor — you know, the military, for me I think about my family members who have served, and friends — I train down in San Diego all the time, so I’m around the Navy and I see those guys around. Get ready for another inside look at Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s relationship as they navigate being a new couple, pregnancy and gearing up for their nuptials.

A new trailer for their new reality show “Rob & Chyna” was just released. And it’s intense. The clip starts off showing several sweet moments the engaged couple shares. Rubbing, hugging and loving. Then ish gets real when it comes to who’s texting who on their cell phones.

In one scene, a pregnant Chyna is riding in the car and starts screaming to the top of her lungs demanding to know why Rob is “texting other b*tches!” We also see Rob going through Chyna’s phone where he questions her about who is constantly texting her.

"Yo, who is hittin' your phone over and over?" Rob asked Chyna. "Why do you wanna keep going through my phone like you don't trust me?" Chyna questioned Rob. "I just don't get why you even care!" Rob replied.

The new clip also shows Chyna helping Rob battle depression and how he's dealing with returning to the limelight after being a recluse for the last four or so years.

We even see Chyna interacting with the rest of the Kardashian Klan and Chyna's son King Cairo (whom she shares with Tyga) makes an appearance.

As the promo tour continues....

The future Mrs. Angela Kardashian and Rob Kardashian graces the newest cover of PEOPLE magazine. Inside, Rob opens up about how Chyna has been helping him battle depression, guiding him through some of his darkest times.

"She got me through my darkest times," he said. “I wasn't happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things. There were definitely dark days for me, and I'm still not fully happy looking at myself in the mirror. But I'm working towards that. And I'm happy."

Chyna reveals she never tried to change Rob. She only wanted to be there to support him and help him work through his issues.

"I saw Rob was willing to better himself," she said. "I had never wanted to be tough. I never wanted to change him."

Now, the two are awaiting their baby’s arrival (the sex will be revealed during the first episode of the show) and gear up for their pending nuptials.

After wowing us all in a tulle Mischka Aoki gown at the VMAs a few days ago, Blue Ivy is back on the NYC scene looking adorable as ever.

Blue and mom Beyonce were spotted leaving Bergdorf Goodman yesterday evening after browsing around the luxury department store. We’re not sure if they copped anything new being that they left empty-handed, but it’s possible someone in their entourage could have been carrying a few bags.

As they walked out of the store, 4-year-old Blue served major side-eye at the photogs all scrambling to catch the perfect picture of the mother-daughter duo. Blue was the absolute cutest in a pink lace dress that featured an embroidered heart in the center. The braided up beauty topped her look off with a pink floral headband and pink sandals.

Mama Bey was just as stylish, rocking an oversized multi-colored silk shirt tucked inside of a hot pink ruched skirt. She skipped out on wearing heels and opted for a super cute pair of gold metallic Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. Bey also has her hair styled in the same braided look she wore at the VMAs.

Earlier in the day, the mother-daughter duo was spotted strolling through the concrete jungle walking their new white poodle near the river. They spent about 30 minutes on their casual stroll. You can peep the Carters’ new adorable pup here.

By the way, that LEMONADE lawsuit fired off by filmmaker Matthew Fulks that claimed Bey stole parts of his work in her visual album was thrown out of court. According to TMZ, the judge rejected the suit and will reveal why later. Nice try.

Tyga just received one hell of a gift from his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The 19-year-old reality star surprised her 26-year-old boyfriend with a white Bentley truck yesterday.

The gift came hours after reports surfaced that his red Ferrari had been repossessed due to missing several lease payments. But, as you can see, the “Rack City” rapper claims Kylie “hid” his Ferrari. Not sure how that all works, but that’s his story and he’s sticking to it. And Kylie's sticking to it too.

Janelle Monae and T-Pain are mourning the deaths of close family members. Get the details on Janelle’s cousin (who was a mother of three) shot and killed in her home and T-Pain’s niece stabbed to death at her workplace inside…

Tragedy has struck recording artist Janelle Monae and her family. And now, the WONDALAND honcho is mourning the death of her first cousin.

According to reports, 38-year-old Natasha Hays, a mother of three, was killed early Tuesday morning after gunfire erupted in her bedroom inside of her Kansas City home while she slept. Her three children, ages 14, 16, and 18, were also inside, but none of them were injured.

Natasha was a caregiver at the Life Care Center in Kansas and family members tell the media she was a devoted mother and was loved by the community.

According to a local news station:

Family members tell FOX 4 they believe they know who fired shots into the woman's bedroom and say a few days ago, she said she felt threatened by this person. Family also told FOX 4 someone shot this same woman in the head a few years ago on Christmas Eve. She survived, but charges were never filed.

Now, Janelle is mourning the lost of her cousin and calling for an end of gun violence. She said in a series of tweets:

In another tragic story....

T-Pain is another celebrity mourning the death of a loved one.

According to reports, his 23-year-old niece Javona Glover, the mother of a 2-year-old, was stabbed to death Tuesday morning at a Walgreens drugstore in Tallahassee where she worked.

The Grammy Award winner took to his Twitter account to plead with his fans that knew anything to contact the police:

The police are still lookin for the coward ass nigga that just killed my niece at Walgreens in Tallahassee. If you got info pls help us out!

When police arrived on the scene they found her bleeding heavily, but she was still alive. She ended up dying from her injuries before she could be transported to a hospital.

Tallahassee Police have issued an arrest warrant for Tavon Q. Jackson, 25, in the stabbing death of Javona. His whereabouts are still unknown.

Chick has several new projects in the works, including her upcoming memoir “Around The Way Girl” (dropping October 11th), a new MAC cosmetics line and she’s gearing up for a lead role in Hidden Figures where she will play real-life NASA mathematician Katherine Johnson (due out in theaters January 13, 2017).

“This is my first time carrying a show and then going to carry a movie,” Taraji told EW. “That’s a lot. It’s so stressful, and I had to really check myself because it’s so easy to take for granted when you get to a certain level. Like check yourself because people pray to be here.”

Say it loud!

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick continued his protestagainst police brutality at last night’s pre-season game against the San Diego Chargers, taking a knee during the National Anthem. And he wasn’t playing any games, picking out his afro to show off his black pride!

Folks didn't like it either. (And they will DEAL.)  As he came out on the field, several football fans boo'd him. But, there were also a good amount of people in the stands cheering him on as well.

Colin’s silent protest has caused a whirlwind of controversy since he first decided to refuse to stand during the national anthem. He said he refused to show pride for a nation that oppresses black people and people of color.

Those not in agreement with Colin -- some of them downright aggressive and nasty -- say he's disrespecting our military.  That's far from his intent as the national anthem isn't solely about our military.  In fact, there's a #VeteransForKaepernick hashtag with servicemen showing their support for Colin exercising his freedom of speech, the very freedom they fought most of their lives for us to have.

And now, a few NFL players are joining the movement.

Colin’s teammate Eric Reid also took a knee during the National Anthem to show his support. Eric told Colin he supports his and movement and his message, so he joined the NFL QB during last night’s game:

At another NFL game, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane also decided to sit out during the pre-season game against the Oakland Raiders to show support for Colin’s movement.

In a post game interview, Jeremy addressed the protest and said, “I just like what he's doing, and I'm standing behind him. It's something I plan on keep on doing, until I feel like justice is being served."

When asked if he was prepared to deal with the backlash that may follow his decision, he responded, “Yeah, I am prepared for it. And I don't mean no disrespect to anybody, but I'm just standing behind what I believe in."

The 49ers defeated the Chargers, 31-21. After the game:

49er fans showered the quarterback with mad love as he walked over to them to snap pics and thank them for their support. Glad to see folks showing him support right now, he's going to need it.

The 28-year-old NFLer then took the podium to speak with reporters for his post-game interview. Reporters tried their damnedest to come for Colin’s protest, but he answered every last one of their questions with intelligent answers and schooled the masses on why he’s doing what he’s doing.

He also announced that he will be donating the first $1 million of his salary to organizations fighting injustice in America. Sweet!

The QB also explained his love and support for the men and women in the military, who put their lives on the line for us everyday saying, “I have the utmost respect for them. I think what I did was taken out of context and spun a different way.”

To further prove he’s not ANTI-military, Colin had a private meeting with Nate Boyer, an Army Green Beret and former standout football player, this according to New York Daily News writer Shaun King.

Shaun gave details about their meeting saying:

Colin invited Nate down to the game in San Diego so they could have an open dialogue about America, injustice, the military, the Star Spangled Banner, and so much more. They met for a good 90 minutes and talked about what a compromise would look like for Colin.

This is where Colin agreed to take a knee during the National Anthem. Colin has always loved and respected the men and women who serve.

Nate said, "We talked about change a lot and how to get positive change to happen. We talked about issues that are taking place in this country and how to prompt change but I also reminded Colin of the great freedoms and luxuries we have in America."

Tonight, Nate stood with Colin and the 49ers as their special guests before the game.

Along with his silent protest, Colin also drummed up more controversy, wearing socks that depict police as pigs during practice:

Birth of a Nation star Gabrielle Union, a survivor of sexual assault, opens up in powerful op-ed piece about the rape allegations surrounding the film’s creator Nate Parker. Find out what she said inside…

Birth of a Nation star Gabrielle Union, a survivor of sexual assault, has remained silent since the whirlwind of controversy that exploded on the Internet about the rape allegations surrounding the film’s creator Nate Parker. As you all know by now, Nate was accused of rape 17-years ago and ultimately was acquitted.

Still, the masses for years have taken issue with the courtroom transcript and what Nate DID admit to.

Before the movie’s promo rounds kicked off, Nate rushed to the media to try and create the narrative about the situation, which ultimately backfired.

Fans of Gabrielle Union know the Hollywood star was raped at gunpoint in the back of a Payless shoe store where she worked 24 years ago. She has been quite vocal about the horrific incident in order to help raise awareness to rape culture and being an advocate against sexual violence.

So, folks have been wondering what she thought about it all seeing that she also bought in as an Executive Producer.

Now, she’s breaking her silence.

In a powerful op-ed piece for the L.A. Times, the “Being Mary Jane” actress addressed starring in a movie with Nate and her reasons behind playing a role where the character is raped.

Regardless of what people may think of Nate, Gabby is solely focused on how the film can open up conversations about rape culture, consent, sexual violence, toxic masculinity and misogyny. She hopes the film will touch a young woman who has been assaulted and to give them the courage to speak up about the injustices against women all over the world.

The 43-year-old actress also talked about teaching our young black men exactly what it means to have a women’s consent and what doesn’t constitute as a “yes” from a woman.

Below is an excerpt from her piece:

Since Nate Parker’s story was revealed to me, I have found myself in a state of stomach-churning confusion. I took this role because I related to the experience. I also wanted to give a voice to my character, who remains silent throughout the film. In her silence, she represents countless black women who have been and continue to be violated. Women without a voice, without power. Women in general. But black women in particular. I knew I could walk out of our movie and speak to the audience about what it feels like to be a survivor.

My compassion for victims of sexual violence is something that I cannot control. It spills out of me like an instinct rather than a choice. It pushes me to speak when I want to run away from the platform. When I am scared. Confused. Ashamed. I remember this part of myself and must reach out to anyone who will listen — other survivors, or even potential perpetrators.

As important and ground-breaking as this film is, I cannot take these allegations lightly. On that night, 17-odd years ago, did Nate have his date’s consent? It’s very possible he thought he did. Yet by his own admission he did not have verbal affirmation; and even if she never said “no,” silence certainly does not equal “yes.” Although it’s often difficult to read and understand body language, the fact that some individuals interpret the absence of a “no” as a “yes” is problematic at least, criminal at worst. That’s why education on this issue is so vital.

As a black woman raising brilliant, handsome, talented young black men, I am cognizant of my responsibility to them and their future. My husband and I stress the importance of their having to walk an even straighter line than their white counterparts.

To that end, we are making an effort to teach our sons about affirmative consent. We explain that the onus is on them to explicitly ask if their partner consents. And we tell them that a shrug or a smile or a sigh won’t suffice. They have to hear “yes.”

I took this part in this film to talk about sexual violence. To talk about this stain that lives on in our psyches. I know these conversations are uncomfortable and difficult and painful. But they are necessary. Addressing misogyny, toxic masculinity, and rape culture is necessary. Addressing what should and should not be deemed consent is necessary.

It is my hope that we can use this as an opportunity to look within. To open up the conversation. To reach out to organizations which are working hard to prevent these kinds of crimes. And to support its victims. To donate time or money. To play an active role in creating a ripple that will change the ingrained misogyny that permeates our culture. And to eventually wipe the stain clean.

The soulful makeup-free singer brought her positivity to Rockefeller Plaza to perform for a huge crowd on Today Show's summer stage.

She rocked her new track "In Common" from her upcoming untitled sixth studio album, and it was certainly better than expected:

She sounded great live. Folks have been tough critics about her voice lately, but we're not mad at this performance.

And y'all know she didn't leave without talking about her no-makeup empowerment campaign. She told the "Today" hosts:

"It's really empowering, really freeing.  We put so many limitations on ourselves ... in a lot of ways I'm sick of it. I'm over it, to be honest ... It's about being our unique, own selves."

"I love makeup," she said. "I love my lipgloss, I love my blush, I love my eyeliner. ... At the same time, I don't want to feel beholden [to it]."

Last night, the legendary R&B songstress hit the red carpet at the 2016 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards held at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta. The 48-year-old loves showing off her amazing bod and last night was no different. The “Un-Break My Heart” singer sashayed down the carpet in a white heavily detailed see-through gown to accept her BMI award.

The Grammy Award winner was honored with the prestigious BMI President’s award to recognize 25-years of success in the game and her contribution to the R&B world. On the carpet, she snapped pics with her massive award alongside BMI Vice President Catherine Brewton and BMI President & CEO Mike O'Neill.

Detroit pastor Wayne T. Jackson is scheduled for a sitdown with Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump tomorrow. But, it won’t be like any of his other interviews. This one has been carefully scripted so that Donald doesn’t say the wrong things as he’s on a quest to gain some black votes. Get the deets on his leaked script inside...

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump is scheduled to stop in Detroit tomorrow to speak with prominent black pastor Wayne T. Jackson, who is the father of “Mr. Robinson” actor Brandon T. Jackson, at his church Great Faith Ministries as Trump shifts gears in his presidential campaign to gain new black voters. This is Trump’s first appearance at a black church.

We’re not sugar coating ish. Donald Trump is a racist and has proven this time and time again. He has delivered countless speeches that spew hate for people of color and for people who practice certain religions, and yet, folks still try to act as if their oblivious to the fact. So, to learn he’s planning to be interviewed by a black pastor took us aback for a second.

Trump is known for flying off at the handle, saying the first idiotic thing that comes to his mind. But this sitdown with the Detroit pastor will be majorly different.

The New York Times got their hands on a leaked eight-page draft script that Trump will read from during his interview with Bishop Jackson. Every question Bishop Jackson wants to ask Donald has been given to the Trump campaign beforehand and his aides have devised answers that will respond to police killings, racial tension and the perception among many black voters that he and the Republican Party are racist, among other topics.

At first, Trump was only scheduled to speak privately with Bishop Jackson, but has since changed his mind and will address the congregation for five to 10 minutes after the interview. Trump will then reportedly visit neighborhoods with onetime campaign rival and Detroit native Ben Carson. *rolls eyes*

Below are a few highlights from Trump’s preempted interview:

When asked about his vision for black Americans, the script suggests that Mr. Trump stay positive, advising that he use lines such as “If we are to make America great again, we must reduce, rather than highlight, issues of race in this country” and “I want to make race disappear as a factor in government and governance.”

To a question submitted by Bishop Jackson about whether his campaign is racist, the script suggests that Mr. Trump avoid repeating the word, and instead speak about improving education and getting people off welfare and back to work. “The proof, as they say, will be in the pudding,” Mr. Trump is advised to say. “Coming into a community is meaningless unless we offer an alternative to the horrible progressive agenda that has perpetuated a permanent underclass in America.”

To the first question, “Are you a Christian and do you believe the Bible is an inspired word of God?” the scriptwriters have a response they hope will keep Mr. Trump from repeating previous stumbles when asked about his faith.

“As I went through my life, things got busy with business, but my family kept me grounded to the truth and the word of God,” the script has Mr. Trump saying. “I treasure my relationship with my family, and through them, I have a strong faith enriched by an ever-wonderful God.”

Bishop Jackson penned an open letter to his congregation advising them that the interview “is NOT a rally or an endorsement for Mr. Trump. This is an opportunity as a community to get answers to questions that seriously impact our daily lives and future.” He also sent out a request to interview Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton to an interview. He also took to his Facebook to explain why he has decided to speak to Trump:

The interview is set to air in about a week on the Impact Network, Bishop Jackson’s Christian cable TV channel.

When everything is moving at a fast pace around, it’s always nice for a little R&R and pampering.

R&B singer Kelly Rowland did just that yesterday. The June Diary’s mentor, dressed down in a t-shirt, leggings and sneakers likely fresh from a workout, was spotted all smiles leaving a salon in Beverly Hills.

Kellz has been enjoying some much needed down time lately. She was spotted on the shopping scene a day earlier picking up a few pieces at Barney’s New York on the west coast.

Now that June’s Diary has created quite a buzz with their new single “L.A.N.C.E.,” the quintet is gearing up to hit the road for their very first tour.

Rapper Kid Cudi is out and Romeo Miller is in!

Since Cudi decided to part ways with “Empire” due to creative differences, “Growing Up Hip Hop” star Romeo has stepped in his place.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the rapper/actor will replace Cudi to play Gram, Tiana’s new love interest and Hakeem’s nemesis. Nice!

Romeo is already in Chicago on set to shoot his scenes. He posted the picture above with Bryshere “Yazz” Gray and actor/director Mario Van Peebles yesterday with the caption, “Uh ohhh #empire.”

Since Cudi already shot scenes for season 3 (and appears in the trailer), Romeo will now have to re-shoot those scenes with his likeness. As you know, acting isn’t new to Romeo as he has starred in Brotherly Love, Madea's Witness Protection and even had his own scripted series “Romeo!”

Season 3 debuts September 21st at 9pm EST on FOX.

Baby’s coming!

Today, Angela Simmons, her fiance Sutton Sean Tennyson, their families and closest friends gathered at the Sugar Factory in NYC for a luxe baby shower to celebrate the couple's upcoming arrival. The shower was complete with a beautiful blue three-tiered cake, baby blue cupcakes and blue and white flowers throughout.

Angela glowed in Aquazurra heels, a black semi see-through ST Studio dress that showed off her growing belly topping her look off with a jeweled headpiece from WigNOut Hair. We wonder if the cameras were rolling to capture for the second season of "Growing Up Hip Hop"

The “Growing Up Hop Hop” star was all smiles throughout the party, snapping pics with friends and family. We noticed the cupcakes were tagged “SJ,” which leads us to believe she may possibly be naming her baby boy after his father and her fiancé.

Doula Latham Thomas came out to celebrate the special occasion. And she will likely guide Angela through birth once the baby is ready to make his arrival. She captioned,“Mama Glow- Baby Shower time!!! Celebrating the impending birth of @angelasimmons's little bun-in-the oven. Congrats mama!!! Doesn't she look amazing in this dress y'all!!! Love how she embraces her bump.”

So Labor Day epicness is happening right now as we type.  Deets on the Obama-Carter joint vacay inside....

The Obamas are spending Labor Day and one of their last vacays as the First Family at Camp David.  It looks like they invited their good friends the Carters to join them.  Epic.

Beyoncé & Blue Ivy were spotted hopping off a private plane in Fredrick, Maryland Friday afternoon near Camp David.  The mommy-daughter dup (Jay Z was not seen in arrival photos) rocked their casual weekend looks of jeans, tank, & a printed dress for their private flight.

The two fams have been on BFF status for years.  The couples have partied together at the White House on multiple occasions.   Beyoncé sang at President Obama's first inaugural ball and again at his 2013 inauguration.  She also created a "Move Your Body" remix of her "Get Me Bodied" track for the First Lady's Let's Move campaign.  FLOTUS and POTUS quote Beyonce's songs and Jay's songs on occasion.  And Jay often name drops the President in his own songs.

We're dying to know the type of vacay fabulousness that will go down this weekend.
