Rihanna has cancelled her ANTI World Tour stop in Nice, France (which was supposed to go down today) after the unfortunate terrorist attack on Bastille Day. Details inside….
Rihanna has cancelled her show in Nice, France following a terror attack. An 18-wheeler truck plowed through crowds of people during Bastille Day celebrations on Thursday night, claiming the lives of 84 people (including two Americans) and injured 100 others (at the time of this post). According to CNN, the driver, who was fatally shot by police, reportedly had guns and explosives inside the vehicle.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and authorities did not release information about a motive. French prosecutor François Molins says it falls in line with previous terrorist attacks.
The “Work” singer was in the French Riviera city at the time ahead of a concert at the Allianz Stadium in Nice, France, as part of her ANTI World Tour. Rih’s rep confirmed to Billboard that she and her crew are safe.
Following the attack, Rih announced the cancellation of her show and sent out prayers for those who were affected by the tragedy, posting:

The Grammy Award winner has a few ofther dates in France that have NOT been cancelled. Outside of the July 15th date in Nice, the ANTI World Tour will continue as scheduled:

Rihanna's next performance is scheduled for Sunday in Frankfurt, Germany at the Commerzbank-Arena.
