My how things change.  Or do they?  Sheree Whitfield has confirmed she has decided to leave "Real Housewives of Atlanta," after reports of her actually getting FIRED have been circulating for several weeks.  Check out her statement about the matter on why she feels the show no longer "caters to her lifestyle"...

Despite the fact that all reports pointed to Sheree getting fired from the ATL franchise of Bravo's Housewives, she claims it was her own decision to leave.  She tweeted today:

Yes it is official I'm leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta. I enjoyed my time working with everyone affiliated with the show.

She states this show has taken a turn for the worse and no longer caters to her lifestyle.  And she's tired of the fighting and cattiness.  Guess she wasn't tired of it the first 4 years she was a major participant in it.  In a statement today, Sheree says:

“After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness.”

“I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect. I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I’m thrilled to say I’m now a free agent and am already fielding offers.”

Sheree says she'll now have time to focus on her clothing line She by Sheree (oh...) and her new fitness ventures.  And she denies she was fired in NYC which led to her not attending the Bravo Upfronts party.  She says she and her family were actually in Puerto Rico (pictured below).

Gabrielle Union chatted it up on "Conan" last night as she promoted her upcoming flick, Think Like a Man (April 20).  While the movie talks about women holding tight to the "90-day rule", Gabrielle revealed that she definitely didn't follow that in her personal life.  In fact, she joked that she had more like "9-day rule".  

She also joked that she got banned from sitting courtside at D. Wade's games because she was loud.  Gabby said she becomes like "Dance Moms" and trash talks the other players.

And when it came to the couple's almost 10 year age difference, Gabby revealed that Dwyane doesn't get her 80s pop culture references.  He was clueless about Pretty In Pink!  FYI--I turn 30 on May 1st (same age as Dwyane) and that's one of my fave movies.  It's not an age thing...it's a gender thing.

Taraji P. Henson stopped by Sway's Shade 45 show earlier this week where she dished on her sex scene with Michael Ealy. She says the kissing was real and his body felt "nice." But she adds they didn't bump and grind during the scene. They kept it PG-13.  Aside from him licking chocolate off her body. (Yasssss.) She jokingly added that a sex scene was the FIRST scene they filmed together.

The fab chick said that in the moment, her feelings are "real" during the love scenes and she can see how actors fall in love while on/off camera.  Especially because nothing is really off limits for her.  For that reason, she said she leaves her work....at work! And doesn't date actors off set.
 

Look...we don't even know if Nicki Minaj really has a stylist. For all we know she could be opening her wig suitcase every morning doing Eeny, meeny, miny, moe...and using the same strategy for her tights and body suit bags.  But if she does have a stylist, clearly that person has beef with Nicki if this is the ish she got paid to put together.

From the looks of "Basketball Wife" Royce Reed's Twitter timeline, Evelyn Lozada may not be the only cast member turning into a football wife.

Royce's co-star Kenya Bell revealed today that congrats are in order for 30-year-old Royce & her 22-year-old Tampa Bay baller boyfriend Dez Briscoe.  Despite last night's twitter beef and cheating allegations from Dez's baby mama....

Well here's one way to get the haters and naysayers to hush up....get engaged.

No details on when (or if) this marriage will happen-- it could be next week, next month, next year--but according to Kenya Bell, wedding bells are ringing for Royce!  Kenya doesn't seem to be the brightest crayon in the Crayloa box so we take it with a grain of salt...for now.

Kenya tweeted out today, in defense of Royce's twitter foolishness last night with baby mama Christina, that Royce & Dez are getting married.

Idris Elba, who stars in the upcoming Prometheus film (June 8) has released a new promo still from the futuristic sci-fi action flick.

The film is directed by Ridley Scott and written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof. Serving as the prequel to 1979's Alien, the flick also stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce and Charlize Theron.

Synopsis:

A team of scientists journey through the universe on the spaceship "Prometheus" on a voyage to investigate Alien life forms. So...after all the hoopla in the last 24 hours with "Basketball Wife" Royce Reed's twitter beef with her boyfriend Dez Briscoe's baby mam Christina Nero over alleged sext messages being sent, Christina was telling the truth.  How do we know?  Because Dez just admitted it!

Tampa Bay Buccaneer baller dez Briscoe just dropped a few bombs via Twitter.  After watching the entire twitter cat fight (over whether he sent explicit sext messages to his ex) between his reality star girlfriend and his baby mama go down yesterday, Dez stood by quietly saying nothing.  Until now.

Royce defended her man to no end yesterday calling Christina a liar and saying she concocted the texts using fake SMS apps.  And, conveniently, Dez seems to have popped THE question with Royce & her co-star Kenya Bell speaking on it today.

Now, Dez just admitted he did send those texts.  But it was all just to get on Christina's good side (his 22 years of age is really showing right now).  And he swears he never touched her.  (Hence why I said in my original post last night Royce should have DEFINED what she meant by "cheat" when she asked him).  Royce also says Christina told her the same via DM--that he never touched her while he was with Royce, despite the texts.

Jennifer Williams' lawsuit against Nia Crooks for the "reality-tv slap of the year" is causing plenty of turmoil for the cast. Now the ladies have threatened to boycott the reunion show if Jennifer attends! Get the deets inside...

The ladies of "BBW" may not like each other, but they definitely have each other's backs when it comes to Jennifer Williams' lawsuit.  Sources say many of the ladies are pissed that Jennifer is causing drama and they don't feel comfortable with her throwing lawsuits around. So supposedly, many have threatened to boycott the reunion show if Jen attends!  Y'all know these chicks aint about that lawsuit life.

Interesting side note, the contract signed by the ladies of "BBW" states that, 

"Participant expressly assumes the risk of any physical or emotional injuries participant may suffer as a result of participant's participation in the project."

Hmmm.....that still doesn't give a chick the license to slap someone up at a racetrack.  Sounds like VH1 is trying to protect their own asses.  But that doesn't mean Jen can't sue Nia.

1.  Lil' Scrappy claims he was near death.  Story.

VH1 premiered Nas' "Behind The Music" last night. Your favorite rapper's favorite rapper told his story from childhood to present, drugs to fame, and beefs to friendships. And yes, what really went down with his marriage to Kelis. Check out the full episode inside....

We must say this was one of the most interesting episodes of "Behind The Music."  Since Nasty Nas is usually so private and quiet about happenings in his life, other than when he's flexing his storytelling skills on tracks, it was intriguing to hear about his life from his POV.  And inspiring to hear his passion for his music, his mother & father, his children, how his Queensbridge upbringing was the center of his hip hop world, and even the love for his ex-wife.

Nas revealed his feelings on the night, when he was still living in the hood of Queensbridge, NY in his late teen years, his best friend Ill Will was fatally shot in the back and his brother Jungle survived getting shot twice.  This is the life he lived as he was selling crack to make money for studio time.

He mentioned his ex-girlfriend Carmen and the excitement surrounding their daughter Destiny being born when he was 20.  That began the drama of his career since he decided to go more commercial with his second album, since he felt more monetary responsibility.  And that focus on commercial success led to his biggest hit to date, "If I Ruled The World."

He wrote "Hate Me Now" when people flipped and started hating on his success and flashier lifestyle.

On the drama he had with Tupac Shakur--the two had beef after believing both were talking ish about each other.  But they squashed it at an MTV Awards after party.  They never got to hang out in Vegas as Pac got shot before Nas got there.

On the drama with Jay-Z--Nas' mother was diagnosed with breast cancer so he had one foot in the industry and one foot out. Jay-Z took advantage of folks going in on Nas and saying that he was done, which led Jay to dropping the diss track "The Takeover." When Nas responded extra hard on "Ether," he was back on top and dropped his next hit album, Stillmatic.  Jay & Nas eventually squashed the beef several years later once Nas signed to Def Jam--where Jay was head honcho at the time.
 

When his mother died in 2002, Nas almost turned back to the streets, but instead went more into his music.  And fell for Kelis after seeing her in her "Caught Out There" video.  He said, "Who is this black rock star chick screaming? That's going to be my girlfriend."

The two were inseparable, but fell out of love years later.  Nas' manager, Anthony, said he had gotten all the divorce docs together, but reconsidered once he found out Kelis was pregnant with their son, Knight.  She ended up filing when a reconciliation didn't work.

And about those rumors he didn't want to be there for the birth of his son, Nas said he wasn't in touch with Kelis and she didn't tell him where she was giving birth when she was in labor. He had to find out from a gossip site.  So he didn't get to the hospital until 10 minutes after the baby was born.  Anthony claims Kelis was spending Nas' money like crazy while they were married.  Hence her demands for more money.  Interesting...

The french designer made the dress to for celebrities and socialites to express patriotism after 9/11. It was also re-launched in 2008 in response to the Obama presidential campaign. After Dez admitted to sending those messages to his baby mama about wanting to sex her and do everything else inappropriate to her....while he was still with Royce...ish just got more real.

The 22-year-old Tampa Bay footballer claimed he only sent her those messages to get on her good side (apparently he doesn't want drama over their baby she claims he never tends to).  He apologized profusely to Royce...via Twitter...and Royce said she was confused as to what to do about it.

Well, this may help.  Over the last 3 months, Dez has also been sending sext messages and pics to a chick named Jordann, telling her he's falling for her....and he and Royce are not really together.  Of course, Jordann shared it all:

Think Like a Man star Kevin Hart stopped by The Breakfast Club this morning where he dished on TLAM, his comedy tour and giving his ex-wife child support. Listen to the interview inside....

Last night, funnyman Kevin Hart and fab girlfriend Eniko Parish stepped out for the premiere of the Five Year Engagement flick, which he has a role in, at the Tribeca Film Fest.  He also went on The Breakfast Club this morning to promote his upcoming flick Think Like a Man and dish about his career.  And even hilariously hated on Michael Ealy due to Kevin's "issues" with "light skinned" folks.  Ha! Here are the highlights:

On child support:

He talked about his divorce and revealed that he's was lucky that he and his ex-wife are friends and it didn't get ugly.  He said he refuses to trash talk her or fight over money....he lets his lawyers handle that.

On his comedy tour:

He said he isn't doing a comedy show...it's a "comedy production."  There will be lots of bells and whistles on his next tour and he hopes to really bring it for the fans.

On dating advice for women:

He said Steve Harvey's book was just "common sense." [AGREED.] He added that women KNOW when a man isn't good for them and sometimes they ALLOW themselves to date trifling men for whatever reason.  Also, the type of man you attract is a reflection on how you feel about yourself.

"Basketball Wife" star Evelyn Lozada joined a panel of women (including co-star Suzie Ketcham & former baller wife Joumana Kidd) on "Anderson" to discuss the perils of dating a professional sports stars. *cue the violins* See the video inside and found out what Royce said about her cheating man....

Evelyn Lozada taped a segment with Anderson Cooper where she talked about Twitter groupies (even though some labeled Evelyn as one when she met her man) going after her fiance' Chad OchoCinco.....amongst other things.

Ev's co-star Royce Reed penned an open letter, via her VH1 blog, to both her fans AND to Christina Nero, the baby mama of her boyfriend Dezmon Briscoe ,who posted the cheat-worthy sexy texts he sent her.  Not to mention the other chick who exposed Dez's cheating messages to her as well.  She blogged about the situation and still seems to lay blame on Christina:

Do I think Dezmon loves me? Yes! Do I think what he did was wrong? Absolutely. Are we done…forever? Honestly, I don’t know. Readers can say I’m dumb if I go back, but with relationships come mistakes. I was lied to and lesson learned…I entertained it on Twitter. I let the drama get to me despite being told to ignore it. That was my immaturity in this experience coming out. I admit that. Yes, I’m embarrassed, humiliated and broken. But I’m strong. Regardless of what happens I will be okay. Do I love him? Yes. Is that enough to stay? At this point, no. I entertained the mother of his son because I trusted what I was told and I stood by him as I should have. Was I the fool? Yep! Do some find it funny that I have egg on my face? Sadly yes, but that means they are lacking happiness and love in their own lives hence them basking in another person’s hurt. Ignorance is bliss but it’s also dangerous.

As far as the logistics go…”At the end of the day” (Jen voice) he will not be with her. So the rant she went on and my responses change nothing for her life. Not only do I look like a fool in love, but she looks like a bitter, jealous and angry “Baby Momma.” That’s worse. Fact is, they were never an item. They were never a couple. But for just under a year, she has been angry that he has been with me. Her twitter name was @dezbriscoejrmom…That was her identity. If you go thru her page (she obviously wanted followers and a platform, so I’m giving it to her) you will see how angry she was that we were together. She spoke about the cruise we went on, him saying he loved me, wanted to marry me, etc. If she didn’t care, why talk about it? If you didn’t watch the show, why do you know every minute of our scenes as if you were commentating? I’m sure she wonders why she was never “the one” to marry but just “the one” to do before he met me. I can’t imagine what Dezmon is feeling right now because, again, I was with my son’s father for four years despite the drama we are going through. So I can’t imagine having a child by someone who never claimed me or never had me front and center at some point. My son puts a smile on my face everyday so no matter what happens I know as long as I’m a good mother that in itself completes me when he wipes my tears, I clean his boo boos, and I get that hug and kiss.

Do you feel better about yourself? Denying a man his child through texts (why didn’t you post those?) because he is with someone else. Stating in direct message he will never see his son, or that I will never meet him, that you’re going to file for custody when you’ve had several court order that had to be given to you for you to “let” him see his child never looks good to a judge. Trust me! When you have proof on your side you have nothing to worry about. That’s why I can be worry free. You on the other hand, shouldn’t be. The position you just put yourself in, I hurt for you as a mother because you have pretty much signed away your son. I dread that court date for you. I tried to speak to you respectfully on DM and you just “didn’t get it.” I tried to HELP you. But your jealousy got the best of you. Now you’re asking for an apology? For what? For ruining a relationship you were jealous of because he didn’t want you? You still lost. I feel sorry for you.

Thank you for the outpouring of love. To the hecklers, what life have you lived to find this funny? It’s so sad that we now live in a world where love is frowned upon and marriage is no longer taken as a life long vow. We live in a world where it’s funny to see someone hurt and heartbroken. I’m a hopeless romantic and I’d rather be a fool that’s happily in love than a depressed soul that has no heart. Will Dezmon and I work things out? I don’t know. I’d be dumb to base the status of my relationship based on my followers who have never seen us outside of a camera and TV show vs. what I’ve heard from HIM, his MOTHER, his AUNT, his FRIENDS, his TEAMMATES, and even MY MOTHER AND FATHER. You will see some emotional moments between my dad and I but for the first time ever, he believed this man loved me. Coming from someone married 41 plus years I believe that, and like he told me last night, forgiveness comes when proof of love is given by actions not just by words. Its up to me whether it actions are enough to walk thru the storm.

DMX had a breakdown on VH1's series "Couples Therapy" last night about the child abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother.  He is also clearly fighting some inner battles as he continues a relationship with his girlfriend while in the couples therapy house with his wife, Tashera Simmons.  Check out the vids inside.....

Funnyman Tony Rock, who co-stars in the upcoming Think Like A Man flick this Friday, dished to TheYBF.com about DO's and DONT's of dating.  If you want to take this dude's advice...check it inside....

37-year-old comedian Tony Rock is amongst the talented cast of actors who will grace the big screen on Friday in Think Like a Man.  During an exclusive chat with TheYBF.com, the Brooklyn native, who is single with no kids, offered a few tips about what chicks shouldn't be doing if they want to keep their man where he's at.  And what she should be doing to keep him happy.

But first...we had find out Tony's Marry, Sex, Friend answers that his co-star Terrence J was too much of a gentlemen to answer.

Who would he marry? Regina Hall.  Tony gushed that Regina is the total package when it comes to a women.

Who would he have a one-night stand with?  Meagan Good.  He added that Meagan has a certain sexiness about her and it's hard to look at her and not think about sex.  [Our girl crush senses can totally agree.]

Who's more like a sister/friend?  Gabrielle Union.  He said Gabrielle is sweet and is that type of chick you want to protect.

On females KEEPING a man:

DON'T touch the tv during the Superbowl.
DON'T touch the tv during the NBA Finals.
DON'T interrupt him during major boxing events.
DON'T bother your man with silly sports related questions if you don't understand the game.
DON'T try to control the shower temperature during shower sex. Y'all women always like that hot water!
DON'T try to turn your man into something he is not.

Nicki Minaj is continuing on her wacky costume promo tour of London.  The 29-year-old rapper was spotted leaving the W Hotel today on her Troll tights and Barbie tutu and Spice Girls inspired platform rubber boots for her latest outing.

'A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that’s what I did. I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me. I reply all the time and get to know them by name and I have a really personal bond with them… not all 11 million, but at least 10 of them a day.'

Knew she would blame one of her umpteen personalities.  As for whether she'll be back, Nicki said, "I don’t know yet, I’m thinking about it. I miss my Barbz (her name for her fans), please bear with me."

With SB by her side in a custom lyrical tee, the twosome looked every bit the colorful characters that they are.  As Nicki's Twitter page stays non-existent, I guess her outfits are how she will express what she has to say to her Barbz these days.

Rihanna decided to sharpen her dancing skills and do actual rehearsed choreography for her upcoming "Where Have You Been" video.  So she posted video of a behind the scenes look at her and her dancers at rehearsals with choreographer Hi-Hat...

For her new dance single off Talk That Talk, "Where Have You Been," Rihanna said she wouldn't do the video justice if she didn't do real rehearsed choreographed dance moves for once.  In part 1 of the Making of The Video, the Battleship star is "dancing by just living her emotions."

Last night, lots of industry folks converged on the Best Buy Theatre in NY's Times Square for the 2012-2013 BET Upfronts.  See the pics of next seasons' stars and a glimpse of BET & CENTRIC's new lineup they presented to the media inside.

Above, actors George Gore II, Marlon Wayans, Tatyana Ali, Damien Dante Wayans and Craig Wayans showed up to promote their new BET series "Second Generation Wayans."

Tatyana also pose with TJ Holmes, who's hosting his own late night news program called "Don't Sleep."

TJ also posed with BET's Stephen Hill.

Tony Rock will host Centric's "Apollo Live" series.

Kevin Hart is bringing back his mock-reality show  he debuted during the All-Star game "House Husbands."  And BET made it a semi-scripted sketch comedy series.

He also laughed it up backstage with Marlon.

Wendy Williams talked up her "Wendy" talk show whch airs late nights on the channel.

BET's head honcho Debra Lee helped welcome the new shows.

"106 & Park" host Rocsi Diaz was there looking great in a little white dress and hot pink pumps.

Producer/Writer Mara-Brock Akil looked gorge and spoke about "The Game" and "Being Mary Jane", starring Gabrielle Union.

Singer Luke James entertained the crowd with a few songs.

Also, Judge Mathis promoted his show "The Mathis Project,” which will be about unsolved homicides. 

Cedric The Entertainer was there as well.  He will serve as host of the 2012 Soul Train Music Awards airing on BET's sister channel, Centric, in Las Vegas.
