In other news about Ms. Henson....

Taraji spent a few days in Paris where she and director Lee Danielsattended the Series Mania festival this week.  They were on hand to introduce "Empire" to an audience of French fans.

While in Paris, Taraji stopped by Chanel and CoCo's apartment where she received the royal treatment.  She captioned, "#CoCoChanel #31RueCambon *singing* "I'm in love with the CoCo".....Chanel that is."

And this pic is why we LOVE Taraji.  She classy AND down-to-Earth.  Did she really step out of the Chanel boutique and put on her "house shoes"?  Yes she did!  She joked, "Until next time Paris!!!! HA! Lots of walking in Paris. My feet were hurting!!!!"

In the music field...

Demetria McKinney, former "House of Payne" star and friend of the "RHOA", has a few musical announcements. First, her song "Trade It All" (see the video below) is available on iTunes and she has a release date for her forthcoming album.

Her R&B album is named Officially Yours and will be released on June 16th. The album will include her single "100" featuring Da Brat (remember when she performed it o "RHOA?"  And........Demetria's hitting the road! She was recently added to R Kelly'sBlack Panties tour and to this summer’s Funkfest tour.

FYI - She's still an actress too. Demetria has recurring roles on Lifetime’s "Devious Maids," TV One’s "The Rickey Smiley Show" and USA's "Necessary Roughness."  And if you'd like to catch Demetria in concert, here are the "Funkfest" dates:

We're checking in on rapper Big Sean and singer Ariana Grande post-breakup...just to make sure the kids are ok.  Find out how the two are handling their split inside...

Breakups are hard and after 8-months together, we imagine Big Sean and Ariana Grande are still dealing with their split (which was revealed yesterday).  Their "uncoupling" was confirmed to US magazine in a joint statement saying,

“They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."

Since the announcement, we've been following Both Sean and Ariana (via social media) to see how they're dealing. We noticed that both of them went right back to work after the announcement.  And the PR machines have have kept on twirling.

Last night, Big Sean (who is currently on his North American tour) appeared on "The Tonight Show" where he joined Rose Byrne, LL Cool J and Jimmy Fallon during a game of Pictionary (below). He didn't look like he was dealing with any "grief" or sorrow. 

Meanwhile, Ariana, who is filming "Scream Queens" tweeted, "I love u babes so much. you're a bunch of angels honestly. your love / care is appreciated so much. i'm good i promise.'

US Weeklyblamed"work" for the breakup. A source told the mag, 'They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year.'  Or....they both got the PR they needed out of the relationship.

Well...they're both rich, young and attractive. There will be others...for both of them.

The Lil Wayne vs. Young Thug “beef” continues....

It appears Wayne is still pissy over Young Thug (who is managed by his newest frenemy Birdman) attempting to name his next album Carter 6. So, during a recent tour stop, Wayne fired shots at the rapper, hurling a few expletives to air out his frustrations. Typical Weezy ish.

You’ll recall, Young Thug made headlines after announcing he was naming his upcoming album Carter 6. You KNOW Weezy wasn’t having it, especially since his album Tha Carter V hasn’t seen the light of day, which launched a $51 million lawsuit against his “daddy” Birdman and the Cash Money label.

Following Thugga’s release of his Carter 6 cover art (which he posed naked for) and Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter poppin’ off via Twitter, Thugga decides to change the name of his album to Barter 6. He shared on Instagram that he was being threatened with a lawsuit over the album title, so he changed one letter and released it this past Friday, April 17th. He also posted a video saying he had planned to hold a listening party in Wayne’s hometown of Hollygrove, New Orleans, but he has since deleted that video and didn’t hold a party there. (He was in Atlanta at a strip club to celebrate his new album).

Anywho, as Wayne makes his rounds on his “Sorry 4 The Wait 2 Release Party Tour," he stopped in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend where he had a few choice words for the Atlanta rapper…again.

In so many words, he said Thugga can “suck his d*ck!” SIGH.

Waka Flocka claims he's running in the 2016 presidential election. And his first order of business? Legalize marijuana!

During a sit down with Rolling Stone as she rolled up some “presidential kush” (a strain of marijuana), Waka announced on April 20th (a holiday for weed recognized by stoners) that he plans on running for the President of the United States in an official campaign video. His motto? “A blunt a day keeps the pain away.”

Marijuana isn’t the only issue Waka plans on taking on. He wants to ban ALL dogs from being allowed inside restaurants and oddly, he wants everyone with “big feet” to not be able to walk in public. Wait...what? He said, “They have to take trains, cabs, and busses. I don’t wanna see your big a** feet taking up all the space on the concrete.” Sighs… Peep his annoucement above.

Apparently, no one told Waka he has to be 35-years-old to run for President of the United States. Waka will be just turning 30 in 2016, so...

Bloop! See ya in 5 years Waka!

We've learned that Sherri Shepherd lost her legal battle and will be listed as the mother of the son she and her ex-husband delivered via surrogate.  More inside...

It's a good thing Sherri Shepherd spent a few days on Tom Joyner's Fantastic Voyage, because she was delivered some crushing news today.

Today, PEOPLE reports that Sherri is now officially listed as the mother of the 8-month-old son (Lamar Sally Jr.) she delivered with her ex-husband.

"It's bittersweet...I'm glad it's over, but I feel sad what it had to come to. Now I can go back to L.A. and tend to my son," said Lamar Sally Sr to PEOPLE.  Yep, he conveniently had a statement readily available for the media.

While Sherri had a change of heart about the baby (once her marriage went south), and was quite vocal about this being Sal's baby and not hers, a lawyer for the child introduced video clips showing Sherri being very receptive to the surrogate's pregnancy.

"There was some additional evidence put on the record involving some video clips involving Ms. Shepherd," said Craig Bluestein, a legal representative for the baby,

He cited a clip of Sherri "expressing excitement over her and Lamar going to have a baby through the help of a surrogate carrier with no genetic connection."

The lawyer added, "I feel very good. I think little LJ, who is not yet 1 year old, needed some protection. Justice was served today."

Back to Lamar Sr.......he's still pissy about the way the public views him. He told TMZ,

"I want her to go on television and apologize the same way that she went on there and accused me of being a gold digger and tricking her into having a baby."

SMH....we don't see that happening.  Especially since he has already been painted as a bitter ex-husband who is trying to squeeze alimony AND child support out of Sherri.

Meanwhile....back in Harlem, Sherri and her son Jeffrey are having a lovely day (in spite of the ruling). She just posted the pic atop with the caption, "In Harlem w Jeffrey @CornerSocialNY restaurant celebrating our pre-birthday. This little one born at 5 mos 1lb 10 oz and almost dying almost took me out - I never thought I would smile again but God is amazing... He has a purpose and a plan - if I can make it thru almost losing my child then NOTHING can be worse than that. Surviving is in my DNA! #keepsmiling"

We're happy Sherri has a "survivor" attitude because the battle isn't over.  She and Lamar will still need to meet in front of a judge in L.A. to sort out the child support issue. Lamar wants her to help take care of the child and of course, we don't ever recall him having a job while they were married. So.....

True Hollywood Story":

“I’d just watch the show and be glued to the screen,” says Smalls. “I couldn’t even imagine—these were women who got to travel the world. It just seemed so alluring.” She also recognized a bit of herself in their images. “I was so awkward-looking—tall, super skinny, gangly. The boys at school made fun of me,” she says. “But I’d see those girls on TV and I’d think, Oh, they have my same body type.”

Amber Rose arrived in London today ahead of an upcoming hosting gig. The Sister Code actress rolled through Heathrow Airport in an army green bomber jacket, black leggings and sunglasses with her pink and green luggage in tow. And lots of it.  Looks like she'll be staying across the pond for a while.

The budding actress has kicked off her 2015 UK Tour, making her rounds overseas to host various gigs in some of the hottest nightclubs in the UK. On Thursday, she’s scheduled to host at Playground and on Friday, she will be front and center at Wonderworld in Milton Keynes, UK.

She told Entertainment Tonight,"Honestly, I'm just working with some really great people and I feel like I've matured. I want everything to… blow people's minds, and just be like, 'Oh my God, what just happened to me?!' That's the goal -- to make everyone like, "Whaaat?!' but in a good way."

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were front and center at last night's TIME 100 gala in NYC.  And while they were soaking up every flashing light on the red carpet, their absorption of the ego stroking and attention was interrupted by a comedienne.  Check out the hilarious pics and video inside...

Kim got it right last night in a black Sophie Theallet gown...but a bit of her thunder was stolen by comedienne Amy Schumer.  And Kanye was unamused.  Ha!

In a move to defend her character, Blackbird star Mo'Nique released several emails from Lee Daniels revealing that she was originally offered the "Cookie Lyon" role on the "Empire".  Read the emails inside and watch her discuss getting "lowballed" by Hollywood.  

The verbal warfare between Oscar-winner Mo'Nique and famed-director Lee Daniels rages on.  Yesterday, during a round of interviews to promote her Blackbird film, Mo'Nique called Mr. Daniels out for allowing his writing partner Danny Strong to defame her character.  

A few months ago, an article in The Hollywood Reporter ignited a feud between Mo'Nique and Lee about her being "blackballed" by Hollywood.  In response to the "blackballed" comment, Mo'Nique revealed to several media outlets that she's been offered Taraji P. Henson's role on "Empire".  But when Lee's writing partner Danny Strong denied offering Mo'Nique the role, it made her look like a lair.

This brings us to yesterday's interview.  Mo'Nique appeared on "Sway In The Morning" where she released three emails from Lee, proving he did offer her a role on "Empire," which directly contradicts what Danny Strong said previously.  

Here's the exchange:

Monique to Sway:  You know when I heard Danny Strong had come on the show and was adamant about Mo’Nique was never offered that role and he’d gone on other places and said it. And I tweeted that brother and said, ‘Will you speak as loudly when you understand that you’re telling something that’s not correct?’ And it was important for me that I come on your show because as I said to you off air, I respect your opinion. And I’ve met a lot of people in this business. We know how this business works, there are not a lot of people that stand behind their word, behind closed doors it’s one thing, outside, it’s another thing.

But when he began to say things that just weren’t true, that’s when I had to say ‘Brother I can’t allow you to do that.’ Because when you start putting my character on the line–and I take pride in my career, I take pride in my integrity, I take pride in my character–but when you put it on the line like that and people begin to question me about my character–and these aren’t strangers, these are folks that know me. We done been in conversations, we done broke bread together. So, I wanted to bring the e-mails to you. And you can read them publicly or privately…I just wanted to put it out there, hey guys clear my name. That’s it.

Danny, clear my name. Lee, clear my name. And I have no animosity towards those brothers at all and want nothing but the best. When it comes to “Empire,” that show is doing history, numbers, breaking records. And they deserve everything that they’re getting because Lee Daniels is one of the most brilliant visionaries that our generation has seen. Taraji P. Henson, one of the greatest actresses, baby, that our generation has seen. So for all of them, I say y’all keep going. However, this situation is about principle. And when you know you have to stand up for right, you have to stand up for right even when people are saying that’s not the popular thing to do.

Lee Daniels had a conversation with Mo’Nique about his new television pilot for Imagine Tv/Fox called “Empire.” We would like to screen test her for the role of ‘Cookie.’ Please contact us with her television quotes, so that we can start a test, option, deal. We are tentatively looking at Monday, Feb 24 for the screen test.

Mo’Nique literally sipped her beverage as Sway read. But that’s not all.

Hello I am following up on my previous e-mail regarding Lee Daniels’ pilot and Mo’Nique’s television quotes. This is a time sensitive matter. Lee really does not want Mo’Nique to miss this opportunity.

Then another e-mail came through on February 19, asking for more television quotes. In fact, Mo’Nique said that Lee actually offered her the role but he told her since he’d never done television before, he told her that she had to go through the technical part, auditioning etc.

March 3

…Unfortunately it’s not going any further for Mo’Nique. Lee fought for her because he thought she would be great for the pilot but studio and network executives insisted on offering the role to Taraji. Thank you so much for providing us with her information. Sorry it didn’t work out. We’re all big fans of hers.

So there you have it....an offer was made to Mo'Nique.  And now she can stop speaking about it.

Mo’Nique also told Sway that she sent Lee the e-mails before she went public - and gave him the opportunity to clear her name. Because he didn’t respond to her, she's revealing the emails to protect her reputation.

In another interesting twist, Mo'Nique says she did get Hollywood "offers" following her Oscar-win for Precious, but she turned them down because they "lowballed" her salary. She explained to Sway (at 10:06),

"If we keep accepting those low offers, where does it leave our babies coming up? And we have to think about those babies that are not here yet, just as Hattie McDaniel thought about me." 

She has a point.  Does Lee Daniels owe Mo'Nique an apology?

Grammy-winning singer Brandy is all set to kick off a limited-engagement in the Broadway musical "Chicago," and this morning, she performed "Roxie" on the Plaza for the TODAY show.  Watch it inside...

Starting Tuesday, April 28th, Brandy will play an 8-week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre as the infamous 'Roxie Hart' in the long-running musical "Chicago".

Earlier this morning, she appeared on TODAY where she performed the song "Roxie" in celebration of next week's premiere. While chatting it up with the TODAY anchors, Brandy discussed the sexy choreography saying, "I excited...I'm nervous.  I love the moves...I love the team...they've really been helping me."

In other B-Rocka news, we've also learned that she's been tapped to star in Mara Akil’s forthcoming BET show‘Zoë Moon.’ She plays a newly divorced single mom who makes a life-changing decision to start a new career as a cosmetics mogul. The problem is, her ex-husband and her 10-year-old son aren’t ready for Zoe’s new endeavor (or her new dating life) and will cause a few bumps in the road.  BET has not released an airdate...

The TIME 100 Most Influential People Gala went down last night in NYC, and the biggest influencers in the world--amongst 5 categories--were honored for their traditional and non-traditional contributions to the world.

Between "Empire" and Oscar winning films, Lee Daniels is winning.  Since he was named as one of TIME's 100 Most Influential People in 2015, he was invited to the Gala at Jazz at the Lincoln Center and brought his mom Clara Watson as his date.  Sweet!

"Orange Is The New Black" star and fellow honoree Laverne Cox shimmered in an emerald gown and posed it up with Lee.

And the "Empire" creator and writer snapped a few pics with Kim Kardashian West.  We wouldn't be surprised if she pops up on Season 2....we all know Lee loves a name more than talent sometimes.

Laverne and Naomi Campbell, looking stunning in all white, also posed it up with Kim.

The gorgeous and flawless Misty Copeland twirled into the gala as one of TIME's cover subjects and Most Influential.  The prima ballerina is looking like perfection in her full skirted ball gown.

Naomi partied hard--likey to Kanye's performance--after hitting the red carpet.

The Wests, who got hilariously CRASHED on the red carpet earlier in the night, chopped it up with Gayle King and Mia and Ronan Farrow. 

Speaking of Kanye, it seems he's jumping the reportedly sinking Tidal ship after standing tall and proud on stage with big bro Jay Z recently during it reveal.  On the heels of the CEO stepping down and a good amount of employees getting the pink slip, Kanye's tweets about the Tidal company have mysteriously disappeared.

We would have loved to hear this convo between 'Ye, who is one of TIME's cover subjects, and Martha Stewart.

After jetting overseas, Amber Rose hit the streets of London last night. Back in the States, Teyana Taylor and Vivica A. Fox were spotted in Hollywood, while Joy Bryant grabbed coffee in NYC. Peep the candids inside…

Amber Rose jetted to the UK yesterday ahead of her European hosting gig tour. And before she officially gets to “work” she went out for a night out on the town in London last night.

The Sister Code actress slipped into an army green bodycon dress topped with a leather sleeveless jacket, leather skeletal fish design Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, accessorizing with a gold choker and gold cuff for a fun night out. Amber was spotted leaving the W Hotel as she made her way to London hotspot DSTRKT.

We hear after the club, she trekked it to a fast food restaurant KFC, but unfortunately, she didn’t get to satisfy her craving for the Colonel’s fried chicken. Apparently, KFC ran out of food so she was denied entry. Womp.
 

The "How To Be A Bad B*tch" author has a busy schedule this weekend. On Thursday, she will be hosting at Playground nightclub in Liverpool, Friday she'll be at Wonderworld in Milton Keynes and on Saturday she's scheduled to appear at at the Brooklyn Bowl held at the O2 Arena.  Being the hot-bodied short-term wife of a rapper is really paying off.

Back in the States....

While her boyfriend Iman Shumpert balls in the NBA playoffs with the Cleveland Cavaliers, singer Teyana Taylor is spending her free time shopping it up on Melrose Avenue with friends.

On the movie front, the fab 50-year-old actress will be reprising her role in the upcoming Independence Day 2 sequel. Aunt Viv will also make a few cameos on the reality tv scene, guest starring on TV One’s “Hollywood Divas.”

Former “Parenthood” actress (the series just wrapped earlier this year) Joy Bryant popped up on the scene as she and a friend (or business associate) were spotted on a coffee run in NYC.

The YBF chick is gearing up to co-lead in the ABC pilot“The Advocate,” also starring “The Game” actor Coby Bell.

Joy will play Dr. Ryan Clarke, a brilliant doctor who helps her friend/businesswoman Francis “Frankie” Reese (Kim Raver) through a rough patch after a life-threatening medical scare. Joy’s character then helps her friend with her new mission to help those who have suffered from modern medicine by opening a patient advocacy firm with Frankie. Coby will star as Chris, someone who helps keep the medical firm afloat.

Hmmm…does this sound like something you'll be tuning in to?

We told you how messy things got on Instagram last night as Blac Chyna threw jabs at her baby daddy Tyga’s new (underaged) chick Kylie Jenner. The 26-year-old vixen posted a flick of herself wearing some oversized red lips, poking fun at the 17-year-old reality star over the foolish #KylieJennerChallenge that’s buzzing all over social media.

We’re not exactly sure if Kylie was responding to Chyna's "lip" shade with the IG post below, but Chyna sure took it as a subliminal shot and made sure to pop off with a shady come back. Yesterday, the Jenner chick posted a pic of a Cartier bracelet (while driving) with her hand resting on the steering wheel of her Range Rover. SIDENOTE: We know how she (and Chyna) like to floss their gifts from Tyga for the ‘gram.

Rick Ross jetted off to the west coast to check out Floyd Mayweather at his training camp as he prepares for the upcoming mega-fight against Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd. And it looks like her brought his girl Lira along for the fun, following their trip to Italy earlier this month.

She posted up a SnapChat of her cuddling up with Rozay at what appears to be inside a casino. Plus, she used the hashag #casinoconfessions. Mmhmm...

Mendeecees, the fiance of "LAHH" star Yandy Smith pled guilty to federal drugs charges and is facing up to 10 years in prison!  More inside...

Mendeecees Harris, the fiance of "LAHH" star Yandy Smith, pled guilty to drug trafficking charges Tuesday afternoon in federal court.

During his hour-long appearance before U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci Jr., he pleaded guilty to narcotics conspiracy and admitted that he was involved in a drug trafficking operation between 2005 and 2012 that shipped cocaine and heroin to the Rochester region!

It gets worse...Mendeecees is facing jail time (8 to 10 years in federal prison) and/or a fine ranging from $15,000 to $5 million. He's also facing four or five years of supervised release.  Either way, repercussions that BOTH he and Yandy will have to face since she is marrying him soon....

The judge agreed to allow Mendeecees to remain free on bail until his sentencing, which is scheduled for Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. You'll recall that Yandy posted his $600K bail a few months ago.

FYI - Under an agreement with federal prosecutors, Mendeecees has to turn over money from his television show and paid appearances to the federal government. So far..... his attorney Donald Thompson says he's paid back more than $103,000.

Yandy and Mendeecees have two children together (son Omere, newborn Skylar) and are set to marry on thh "LOVE & HIP HOP LIVE: THE WEDDING” special on VH1, MAY 25th AT 8:00 PM ET/PT.  Sighs.

Mom, mogul and messy is how you can describe Wendy Williams.  And we love it.

The talk show maven has carried "The Wendy Williams Show" into its sixth season and seventh year to become a reigning queen in daytime tv.  Not to mention her new clothing line on HSN and Executive Producer credits on networks like the iD channel. So it's only right she's gracing EBONY's next issue, which focuses on million dollar moms, empire building and more.

While looking pretty damn fab on the cover, Wendy is dishing on her favorite roles – mother, daughter, non-hoity-toity kitchen master, and campy visual artist.  But what she's not is a celebrity befriender.  She tells the mag:

“Sometimes I feel a little guilty, like there is going to come a time when all of this isn’t going on and I’m going to regret not lunching at Michael’s with the celebrity girls. But right now, this feels great,” Williams says of home being the place she prefers to be.

Wendy will also be discussing the intricacies of her marriage and business relationship with husband, co-executive producer, and manager Kevin Hunter.   She's also set to host the "R&B Divas: LA" reunion tonight on TvOne.

There's nothing like a blended family...espcially when your stepsisters' names are Beyonce & Solange. The Knowles sisters, Kelly Rowland, Angie Beyince, and actress Bianca Lawson all posed around bride Tina Knowles on her gorgeous wedding day last weekend.

"It couldn't have been more perfect," 61-year-old Tina Knowles Lawson told PEOPLE magazine in an exclusive interview about the blessed day she married 68-year-old actor Richard Lawson.

We brought you the good news last week when we came across the couple's first wedding photo, taken aboard a yacht called "Eternity" off the coast of in Newport Beach, California. They were glowing in all white.

The couple wed on April 12th, surrounded by close friends and family, including daughters Solange and Beyoncé and their husbands, Jay Z and Alan Ferguson, granddaughter Blue Ivy and grandson Julez. Other guests included Kelly Rowland (above)and Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child; Angela Beyince (above) Richard's kids Bianca (above) and Richard II; and Samuel L. Jackson.

"To walk down the aisle and see all my friends and family and to see my handsome man standin' there, and to know that at 61 you can still find love and have a magical day like that … it was really beautiful," says Mrs. Lawson, who wore a stunning white dress by Romona Keveza and walked down the aisle to India.Arie's "Ready for Love."

After finalizing her divorce from Matthew Knowles in 2011, Tina says,"There was a time when I doubted if I would find love again. But I was determined to be happy."

And boy, did she find that happiness!  Miss Tina is looking snatched in every sense of the word, she is head over heels in love, and she is WINNING.

Tina also revealed the reason she picked "white" as a theme.   "It was important to me to have a wedding and walk in white, because sometimes we feel that at a certain age you should act a certain way," she says. "You can find love at any age. You just have to go for it."

Cheers to the Lawsons and to finding love at any age!

Basketball icon Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa celebrated ther 14th wedding anniversairy on April 18th.

So the LA-based Bryants boarded a plane and headed for Europe where they spent time in Italy (one of the couple's favorites places in the world) and France.  You might recall that Kobe is a fan of elaborate anniversary gifts. One year, he flew Vanessa's favorite chief, Fabrizio de Togni, to LA to cook for them. And since Fabrizio owns the Paper Moon restaurant in Milan, Italy, we're sure the couple stopped by.

Italy holds a special place in Kobe's heart because he honed his b-ball skills there as a child.  He said in an interview once:

"I was lucky to grow up in Italy at a time when basketball in America was getting f***** up with AAU shuffling players through on strength and athleticism. I missed all that, and instead I was taught extreme fundamentals: footwork, footwork, footwork, how to create space, how to handle the ball, how to protect the ball, how to shoot the ball. I wasn't the strongest kid at that camp. I wasn't the fastest. I wasn't the most athletic. I was probably the most skillful, but that didn't matter. It was all about the 360 windmill dunks."

Zendaya will be hosting this year’s Radio Disney Music Awards airing this Sunday at 8 PM ET on the Disney Channel. But before she kicks off her first hosting gig, the 18-year-old Disney star stopped by the “GMA” studios in NYC, styling in a Michael Kors plaid dress and white pumps, to chop it up about her new gig.

Sitting down with “GMA” co-anchor Robin Roberts, the interview opened up with discussion about how she responded to “Fashion Police” co-host Giuliana Rancic’s insensitive comments about her faux locs on the red carpet at this year’s Academy Awards. We all read Zendaya’s brilliant Instagram response. And now the YBF actress/singer/model is opening up about how she went about responding to the controversy and how it made her feel. She shared,

"At that point it wasn't really about me. I had to stop myself from being ignorant and being a kid. As a teenager you want to say the first thing that comes out of your mouth, and I had to kind of really take my time and think about what my parents taught me, which is the most important things in the world are your voice and your knowledge, being that they're both educators. So I sat in my room and I used both of those things. And hopefully, whether it be a little girl out there or a young man out there who was able to read that and see positive change and be able to stand up for themselves in any kind of incident in their lives, then I did what I'm supposed to do."

Facts.

The “K.C. Undercover” star then talked about how she wants to be a positive example to her young fans who are watching her, which she called being a “real” model and not a role model. She explained,

“It’s something I actually something I saw in a Tupac interview. I don’t want to play a role or pretend to be something that I’m not, especially since young kids are watching. It just helps that I’m a good kid. I just want to continue to be that positive light or that positive influence for a lot of young people because sometimes I feel we lack that.”

Over at the Tribeca Film Festival....

Pioneer rap legend Q-Tip got the chance to interview fab directress Ava DuVernay for the Tribeca Talks Directors Series held at the SVA Theater in NYC today.
 

During the hour-long discussion in front of an audience, Q-Tip and Ava covered an array of topics such as Ava’s struggles navigating through the film industry as a black woman and committing to doing what she loves, which is creating great stories through film.

She said, "It's not in the realm of possibility for anyone to stop me from making film. It is no one's responsibility to make the things that I want to see. If I want to see them, then I have to make them."

She also dropped a few nuggets to encourage others to follow their dreams just like she did, saying,"Whatever it is you want to do, just start, just begin. That is the hardest part. Try to be in a loving, happy marriage with your vision."
 

The SELMA director flipped the script and asked Q-Tip if he would consider stepping back in front of the lens for a film, in which he responded,“I’m waiting for you!” We're sure she can make that happen!

On the promo circuit...

The uber gorge Jada Pinkett Smith got jazzy for her new character poster for the upcoming stripper flick sequel, Magic Mike XXL.

Based on the promo pic, the 43-year-old “Gotham” actress appears to be playing someone of a certain “boss status.” Maybe she’s helping to “pimp” the guys or maybe she's their "announcer/host" to get the party live.. We’ll have to wait to find out once the film premieres in theaters July 1st.

She sat down with "EXTRA" correspondent AJ Calloway a few months ago to dish on working with the guys on the set (including “Live with Kelly & Michael” co-host Michael Strahan), where she said,

"Am I enjoying it? Yes I am!" Jada also shared that her "Magic Mike XXL" co-star Michael Strahan has got his stripping act down. "Oh, let me tell you. I think that was probably the best moment of the show…I said stop playing and stop acting like you never did this before…This ain't your first run. You've done this before!…He was genius."

Creflo Dollar still wants a $65 Million plane...in the name of Jesus of course.  Come inside and watch the televangelist shoot down the Devil for trying to come between his ministry and luxurious flight accommodations.

"If I want to believe God for a $65 million plane, you cannot stop me." -Creflo Dollar

There's just no arguing with someone who practices prosperity theology.  If you chide or question their wants, needs and desires, they say you're insulting God and questioning his power.  

We're sure you saw on the 'innanets' that Creflo Dollar asked his followers to donate funds to help purchase a $65 Million aircraft so he could "spread" the good gospel around the world.  Apparently....you can't spread the word of Jesus in coach...or on Southwest Airlines.  

Now...before you put your nose in the air, you have to understand that God wants Creflo to have a $65 Milllion plane.  This according to Creflo.  HE put those wants and desires in Creflo's heart and Creflo is simply following the will of God by asking his followers to make it happen.  During this past Sunday's message, he shamed the Devil and anyone else who questioned why this plane is necessary.

'What does a preacher need with an airplane? If you knew what we did then you wouldn't ask that question. But you don't know what we do.'

WE don't?  Well, that's problem number one since the masses are who's funding your lifestyle, Mr. Dollar.

Of course....the congregation went wild.  Like, wild in that they seemingly co-signed.  Creflo may have collected $65 Million before the benediction.  Here's the full sermon...

"Let me tell you something about believing God — I can dream as long as I want to. I can believe God as long as I want to. If I want to believe God for a $65 million plane, you cannot stop me. You cannot stop me from dreaming," 

"You cannot stop me from dreaming. I'm gon' dream until Jesus comes. And here's another thing I want you to understand. … If they discover life on Mars, if you think a $65 million plane was too much, if they discover that there's life on Mars, they gon' need to hear the Gospel and I'm gon' have to believe God for a billion dollar space shuttle because we got to preach the Gospel on Mars."

"I dare you to tell me I can't dream. I dare you to tell me that I can't believe God. If I find Jesus, I'm gonna look at Jesus until it comes to pass, because with God all things are possible to him that believe. And so, I say to you, dream on. Dream on baby, don't dream on what you can have, dream about what the devil says you can't have. Dream for the best. Dream for the best healing. Dream for the best deliverance; dream for the best house. Dream for the best car. Just 'cause the world don't have it, doesn't mean you can't have it. You are the children of the Almighty God. Dream, dream."

"I wouldn't say this except the Spirit of God led me to say it. Now you see why the devil tried so aggressively to discredit my voice. I'm on my sabbatical and the enemy is trying to discredit me. Heck, I found out this past week I was supposed to be in jail for stealing the tithes." 

"And therefore, yesterday, they were transferring me from one county to the other one. I sure wished somebody woulda told me. Found out my real name is not Creflo Dollar. You know what it is? It's Michael Smith."

"Found out that none of y'all can ever get in the dome unless you show your W-2 form. What you say? Are you listening to what I'm saying? The enemy has got to discredit the voices of faith and grace and truth because he don't want you to know that you can walk on the water if you can look at Jesus. I've got to discredit that man before he starts showing people Jesus."

We are in the midst of a great fight. The enemy, like he always have, is trying to stop the preaching of Jesus and we're not gonna stop. I never one time, you can attest to it. I never one time came to you for a dime and asked you for an airplane, did I?" Dollar asked his congregants.

Creflo Dollar asking his members for $65 million? I ain't never asked you for a dime. We've got over 3 million partners around the world, 3 million donors around the world who support the ministry so I can get to where they are. I had a man from the Middle East send a letter to say they cut off my relative's head. We need you in the Middle East, here's a check right here for that plane.

"You understand what I'm saying? You cannot stop and you cannot curse what God has blessed. Are you listening to me? Half the people that are commenting on the Internet don't even know me. They don't know this ministry. They don't know what we do. That's why they ask the question: 'What does a preacher need with an airplane? If you knew what we did then you wouldn't ask that question. But you don't know what we do..."

Let the church say.....AMEN.

Joyce Hawkins, the mom of pop star Chris Brown is enjoying the title "Grandma."  On Instagram, Chris posted a few family photos of Joyce hugging and cuddling Royalty.

We're sure Joyce was as shocked as we were when we "learned" about Royalty's DNA lineage....but she seems happy to welcome Royalty into the family tweeting yesterday:

A few weeks ago we told you that Chris offered to mom Royalty and her mom Nia Guzman to the LA area so they might be closer as a family.  For now, it seems as though Nia is keeping her feet planted in Texas....but Royalty will have a close relationship with her father.

And by the way, Chris dyed his hair black.   A change up from his recent rainbow sno-cone look. He posted this pic on Instagram with the caption "BLACKJACK".
