Keri Hilson and her boyfriend/OKC Thunder baller Serge Ibaka are easily becoming one of our fave YBF couples. They appear to be so in love and really into each other on a deeper level.  And we totally love watching their union blossom.
 

We just fell even more in love with them after peeping their New Year’s Eve coupledom cuteness. Instead of getting glammed up to party at a nightclub or special event, the twosome hired a DJ and brought the party to their place. They invited guests over for dinner, drinks, dancing and loads of fun to bring in 2015.

Another cute couple in the NYE spirit....

YBF actress Meagan Good and her husband DeVon Franklin jetted off to Jamaica for some fun in the sun to bring in 2015. The cute couple held each other tightly as they were all smiles posing it up in front of a bonfire on the beach.

Taking a moment for reflection, Meagan lit a lantern before releasing it into the universe. She wrote,

"As I released my lantern into the beautiful sky and stars above, I prayed ..and I thanked God for every single moment of 2014 ..and every moment of every year before ... The growth and maturity ..the personal revelation .....vision .. The moments of pain .. hopelessness and helplessness .. .. It's 2015 and we've got our first Janet Jackson sighting of the year!  The truly elusive chanteuse spent New Year's Eve In Dubai where she watched a concert that included performances from Chaka Khan, "I Will Survive" singer Gloria Gaynor and her own brothers, The Jackson 5.

The Jacksons (shown above with Gloria Gaynor) performed their hits like "ABC", and "I'll Be There", and even threw in some Michael Jackson records, "Rock With You" and "Beat It."

Janet sat in audience...perched in her chair.  She is the queen!  We have to saw she looks very happy, and that's a good thing.  The last time was spotted Janet she was wearing all black and rocking a top-knot (much like the pics above) while visiting kids in Jordan. We all about her new look and her new life.  Nice!

It’s official! We told you about rumors that Terrence Howard and his new wife Miranda Howard were expecting. Well…looks like they were true! Deets inside….

Not only is he gearing up for the premiere of his brand new FOX series “Empire”, Terrence Howard is also getting ready to become a dad for the fourth time. Rumors began circulating back in October after she was allegedly overheard telling friends she was with child while accompanying her husband to a special screening.

The upcoming "Empire" star shared the exciting news (via a third party's announcement at a NYE party the couple attended) that he and his new wife Miranda Howard were expecting their first child together right after the clock struck midnight. He was tapped to DJ at the posh Orange County hotspot AnQi for NYE. But he had a surprise of his own for the new year.

According to US Weekly sources, Terrence took the stage and spit a few rhymes for the crowd. Following his “performance” he was joined on stage by AnQi owner Elizabeth An, who is also a good friend of the couple. As Elizabeth began to dish the baby news, Terrence grabbed his wife to rub her belly (above) as Elizabeth announced, "Terrence and Mira are expecting their first baby!"
 

No word on the sex of the baby (although earlier rumors say she’s having a boy). But the little bundle of joy will be joining the actor’s three older children 21-year-old (mom to 3-year-old daughter Hazel), 19-year-old Hunter and 17-year-old Heaven, all from his first marriage.

Vanessa Bryant along with her daughters Natalia and Gianna were in the stands to cheer on their pops as he battled it out on the court. After missing a few games last week, the Black Mamba was back on the court to help bring his team to a victory.

Unfortunately, Kobe (and the team) fell a little short. Right at the last few seconds of the game, Kobe had a chance to shoot a three to tie the game and take it into overtime. But the ball bounced off the rim and didn’t make it into the hoop. The Grizzlies ended up taking home the win, 109-106.

Tennis champ Serena Williams was spotted snapping it up with her boyfriend/French tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou at Perth International Airport today. The cute couple couldn’t resist capturing their love in a selfie before making their way through the airport.

The top-ranked tennis superstar is kicking off her 2015 in Western Australia ahead of the Hopman Cup tournament. The 18 Grand Slam title holder will team up with Jack Sock (2014 Wimbledon doubles winner)to represent the United States at this year’s Hopman Cup match, which begins on January 4th.

And before the match kicks off tomorrow.....

Serena got glam to attend the Hopman Cup Ball at the Crown Perth Grand Ballroom to kick off the Hopman Cup 2015 festivities.

The black tie event came complete with tunes from a live band, good eats and a chance to chop it up with tennis players before they battle it out on the tennis court.

And the 33-year-old brought her "A" game. Fab times.

According to a tabloid report, Ariane and her boyfriend Big Sean had allegedly called it quits after she supposedly found pictures of multiple women in his cell phone last month.

But the 21-year-old “Bang Bang” singer says it’s not true! She confirmed to the Mail Online that those rumors are “absolutely not true” and that they are still going strong.

In sad news…Nelly is mourning the death of his grandmother and posted a heart warming Instagram post about her passing. Meanwhile, Jordin Sparks is bringing in the New Year with a new tattoo. More inside…

While bringing in the New Year can create many good times, unfortunately for Nelly, he’s having to deal with the inevitable this year.

The “Nellyville” star lost his grandmother recently. And in an Instagram post, the rapper-turned-reality star gushed about his granny’s strength and how she helped shaped him into the man he is today. He said,

Today around 6am I lost One of the strongest women to ever grace this planet my granny was A LADY in every sense of the word..R.I.P GRANNY... .. My strength is with my father and his two sisters for they have endured so much in the past 10 to12months ..!! #HAYNESFAMILY .....
 

He also posted a pic of his grandmother from back in the day alongside his grandfather in which he wrote,

Grand opening, grand closing. Keke Palmer and NeNe Leakes have finished their Broadway stint. And last night, the two ladies were brought to tears as the final curtain fell. Peep pics and read Keke’s inspirational message inside….

After a stellar run on Broadway for Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA musical, it has now come to an end for two YBF chicks.

Keke Palmer made HERstory as Broadway’s first African-American Cinderella, captivating audiences each night with her performance. Last night, the last curtain fell for both Keke Palmer and NeNe Leakes (as the evil step mother) and neither of them could contain themselves, overwhelmed with motion, as they waved farewell to the audience.
 

After the show, Keke posted an inspirational and powerful message about her trials and tribulations she has gone through since her debut as Cinderella. The 21-year-old YBF starlet successfully performed 136 shows (since September) and although she has worked in film and television for years, Keke said she often struggled with feeling like she wasn't talented enough and whether or not she had the discipline to complete such a enduring task. She passionately wrote:

Today was the day. Today was the official end of my Broadway debut. 136 shows out of 136 shows, man .. I can honestly say I wasn't sure if I could do it. Being 21, coming from only film and TV, I wasn't sure I was disciplined enough for Broadway. I didn't think I was old enough and I wasn't sure if I was talented "enough". So many thoughts run through your mind when you're trying something new, but one thing I always know, is God would'nt give me what I was not ready for. You ask for things from the Lord sometimes and we are never sure how they will arrive, or as what they will arrive as. I so badly was struggling with finding sense of self before I embarked on this journey. So many things were happening in my life, but at this particular time I was just afraid to stand on my own, truly. My career was what I mostly hid behind, work .. work .. And MORE WORK! I kept asking God for clarity, for strength, for the ability to not be afraid to GROW! I knew that this experience would be life changing, but I only could imagine what it would change in my technique, I never knew what it would do for me as a person. God answered all my prayers and I followed through with him by not letting my fears hold me back. This Broadway journey has been all about GOING FOR IT! Stepping into an uncomfortable zone and allowing yourself to get the opportunity to receive all the jewels that you are meant to gain from it. That has transferred a lot into my personal life, I have gained so much courage and belief in me, in my heart and my intuition. God found a way to give me the message through my first love, ENTERTAINING! I am not done yet, I know this is just the beginning, but my goodness all I can say is I am so grateful to know the light of the Lord. And not because my life is perfect or because I'm perfect, because I'm NOT!! But, because I CHOOSE to acknowledge the miracles that he has shown me. No matter how big or small they may seem to someone else, they are HUGE to ME! Don't be afraid of the light within, you guys. We all shine so brightly and uniquely, don't block the blessings, the answers to your prayers because you are AFRAID. It's a new year, a new age! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!

Fab directress Ava DuVernay and lead actor David Oyelowo (who portrays Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.) were front and center at the prestigious event, both looking incredible in their matching gold/bronze attires.

Ava, who wore black and gold Carmen Marc Valvo dress and Stuart Weitzman heels, has already landed two Golden Globe nominations for SELMA, including BEST MOTION PICTURE - Drama category and the BEST DIRECTOR field. She made HERstory as the first black female director to be nominated for a Golden Globe. Work!

Kanye West brought in 2015 with a brand new track featuring Paul McCartney titled “Only One”, a cute tribute to his baby girl North West. But that’s not all Ye has up his sleeve.

A new Kanye West single featuring Rihanna, Ty Dolla $ign and Paul McCartney is set to drop! During an interview with Billboard, Ty revealed he trekked it to Mexico in September to work on some material with the YEEZUS rapper. And over two days, Ye & Ty recorded roughly nine tracks together, including his newly released “Only One”, in which Ty provides the background vocals.

He said, “Me, Rihanna, 'Ye and Paul [Mc Cartney] got a song about to drop as well...”

So when will we hear it? He said, “Yeah. It's gonna drop soon. I heard they shot the video recently. I don't know what the final title is, but I know it's crazy so just be looking out for [it].”

The RIHNavy has been patiently waiting for Rihanna's eighth studio album, tentatively titled “R8”. It has been two years since Rih released an album, but she’s currently working on the follow-up to her 2012 LP Unapologetic.

Rumors have been circulating for some time as to when the new album will drop and what direction the Pop princess will be going with her upcoming project. And now, an unconfirmed track by the Bajan beauty has allegedly leaked.

A track titled “World Peace” popped on YouTube and it might be the latest musical offering from RiRi. Is R8 finally ready to drop? We will just have to wait and see. In the meantime, take a listen to the new track below:

It is with great sadness to report the passing of longtime ESPN anchor Stuart Scott. He was 49. Details inside…..

The sports world has been shaken up with news that longtime ESPN anchor Stuart Scott passed away this morning, confirmed by ESPN. At age 49, the popular ESPN announcer was a staple in sports entertainment news and single handedly created a slew of catchphrases such as “BOOYAH” and “As cool as the other side of the pillow".

Sports fans have watched the ESPN commentator on television for years after he became a familiar personality on ESPN’s “Sports Center” and reporting on the network’s NFL and NBA programming since 1993.

Over the years, fans watched Stuart’s health gradually decline, but he never stopped fighting even after being diagnosed with cancer on three separate occasions. In 2007, he was first diagnosed with cancer of the appendix while undergoing an appendectomy. Then in 2011, doctors found tumors in his small intestine. He underwent surgery and chemotherapy and was cancer free up until January 2014. He revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer yet again.

But…he always kept a positive spirit and vowed to fight to the end. This summer, Stuart was awarded the Jimmy V Award at the 2014 ESPYS. He took the stage and delivered a very inspiring and motivational speech. Days before he accepted his award, his body had almost completely shut down where he had to endure four surgeries in the week leading up to the awards show. During his speech he said,

“When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer,” Scott told the audience. “You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live.”

 

Stuart leaves behind his girlfriend Kristen Spodobalski (above, left) and his two lovely daughters 19-year-old Taelor (not pictured) and 15-year-old Sydni (above), whom he had with his ex-wife, Kimberly Scott.
 

Stuart’s passing definitely leaves a void in sports entertainment news. Our condolences go out to the family and may he rest in peace.

In the latest YBF happenings….Usher allegedly got into a fight over his now fiancée Grace Miguel at a NYE party, Emily B and her son Johan enjoy some mommy-son time in South Beach and Serena Williams gets friendly with a koala bear in Australia. More inside…

Usher and Grace Miguel’s 2015 surely got off to an interesting start.

We told you Usher secretly popped the question to his longtime girlfriend/manager Grace Miguel right before the holidays. The twosome celebrated Christmas together with Grace’s family and it seemed everything was going smoothly…up until New Year’s Eve.

We hear, the “Good Kisser” singer was involved in a brawl at E11even nightclub in Miami while attending a NYE party to ring in the new year. A clubgoer allegedly insulted the R&B crooner’s lady, which instantly set ish off. While the details of the actual fight remain unknown (for now), Usher posted a picture of the aftermath to his Instagram.

Brace yourselves…..
 

The “I Don’t Mind” singer posted the picture above (and deleted) of his injury following the brawl. He captioned, “You should see the other guy!!” Ouch! If Usher’s eye ended up like that we can only imagine the injuries the other guy suffered.

But…it doesn’t seem Usher is in the slightest bit bothered. He and Grace were spotted in good spirits as they shopped it up at H Lorenzo in Beverly Hills on Friday (atop). NOTE TO ALL: Don’t mess with Usher’s woman!
 

In Miami.....

A pregnant Emily B and her adorable son Johan are enjoying a few fabulous days in Southbeach. The mother-son duo enjoyed a day of fun-in-the-sun on a yacht as they sailed the Atlantic Ocean, taking in the beautiful Miami views.

Afterwards....

Lil Fab got dapper before posting up in front of a white Ferrari. So fresh and so clean!

Then he joined his mother on a retail therapy trip for some new hats. Loving Emily's jumper and her cute baby bump.

And for a last does of cuteness, Johan styled in a white robe with his gold chain after bathtime. This little guy will surely be breaking hearts soon.

In Australia....

Serena Williams is currently in Perth, Australia (with her boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou) for the 2015 Hopman Cup, which kicks off today. But before she battles it out on the tennis court, the 33-year-old tennis champ took a trip to Kings Park to get cuddly with a koala bear named Sunshine yesterday.

At first, the top-ranked tennis star didn't seem to keen on getting close to the wild animal.

But eventually, Sunshine won over her heart....

And she even went in for a smooch. Cute!

The 18-time grand slam champion is using the Hopman Cup tournament to help prepare for her sixth Australian Open title win. The Australian Open kicks off Monday, January 19th.

NOW... the twosome continue their culture-filled voyage in Cambodia for another day of tourist attractions and unforgettable memories:

Dressed in an oversized cheetah print shirt and camo trousers, Bey stopped to snag a shot of Hov holding up the "ROC" before they headed out for another fun-filled day.

Keshia Knight Pulliam was the first celebrity fired on the season opener of "Celebrity Apprentice".  Watch the clip inside and check out a glimpse of Tyrese's birthday lap dance. 

The seventh installment of the hit series, "The Celebrity Apprentice" aired last night with former Cosby kid Keshia Knight Pulliam making a tearful exit.  As the women's team project manager, she lost to the men's team, led by Geraldo Rivera. 

In a dramatic boardroom showdown, Keshia was dragged for not raising a large amount of money during the "Pieface" charity fundraiser.  In fact, "RHOA" star Kenya Moore led the charge, questioning why Keshia didn't call her former tv dad Bill Cosby and ask for a check.  During the confrontation, Keshia tearfully revealed that she hadn't spoken to Bill Cosby in over 5 years.

FUN FACT:  Keshia was also the first celebrity kicked off the failed reality series "Splash."  It looks like she needs to avoid competition shows.

In other news...

Tyrese celebrated his 36th birthday on the set of his latest video, "Dumb Sh*t." recently.  Shot in Burbank, "Dumb Sh*t" features Snoop Dogg and appearance from Wiz Khalifa. The single drops on January 11th. It will appear on Tyrese's 10th studio album Black Rose, which has a May 5th release date.  After the shoot was over, Snoop and co. presented Tyrese with a cake and he got a few birthday lap dances. After a four day vacation in St Barts where she rang in the new year, Rihanna and her entourage was spotted walking to a jet.

It's time for Rihanna to get back to business.  After a relatively quiet 2014, musically speaking, Navy fans are anticipated her 8th studio album to drop VERY soon.

And when she wasn't recording, Rihanna was cashing checks from various side projects likes the fragrance, ROGUE MAN, and her new deal as a creative director for PUMA.

As she boarded the plane RiRi blew kisses as her adoring fans....

Last night, Tamera Mowry Housley posted a picture holding a pregnancy test revealing she’s pregnant with baby #2. But before her Instagram announcement, she revealed to “The Real” co-hosts she has a bun in the oven. Peep her TV announcement and the ultimate SHADE thrown her way by Chrissy Teigen inside….

“The Real” co-host Tamera Mowry Housley and her husband Adam Housley are expecting baby #2. Such exciting news!

Last night, Tamera surprised her Instagram fans with the news she’s having another baby, posting a picture of a positive pregnancy test. But before she let the cat out the bag, Tamera let her daytime talkshow co-hosts in on her little secret.

During a moment backstage before a taping of the show, Tamera shared with her co-hosts that she’s about to become a mother of two. She happily said, “I’m PREGNANT!” Tamara Braxton, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai rushed Tamera with hugs and belly rubs, dubbing the bundle of a joy “The Real Baby”. Cute!

While most of us were sending congratulatory messages to Tamera, one person had plenty to say about Tamera’s pregnancy announcement…and it isn’t coming from the nicest of places.

John Legend’s wife Chrissy Teigen peeped Tamera’s pregnancy declaration on Instagram last night. You'll recall, Tamera posted a picture holding up a ClearBlue pregnancy test to announce she was having another baby. In the caption, the daytime tv host wrote, “We are thrilled to announce we are #ClearblueConfirmed! Can't wait to meet baby #2! Love Clearblue's pregnancy test with Smart Countdown. It helped me get through the wait to get my result by counting down with me. #spon”

Well…Chrissy took to Twitter to throw a little shade Tamera’s way. She tweeted:

The lovely Garcelle Beauvais was spotted out and about in LA over the weekend. The fashionable actress, has several films coming down the pipeline in 2015, including a role in Barbershop 3, Loose with Meagan Good and Back to School Mom.  

Garcelle, a mother of three, was seen walking through the Farmer's Market in LA with her twin sons Jax and Jaid. 

Garcelle, who split from the twins father, Mike Nilon, in 2012, opened up about co-parenting in a blog for PEOPLE recently, sharing,

“I’m not gonna lie. It breaks my heart when I hear them say to their friends, ‘I’m at Mommy’s house this week.’ Even when they’re not with me, they are constantly on my mind. Luckily, co-parenting with Mike has been a blessing because we let each other see the boys even when it’s not his or my week. That’s because we put them first. It’s better for them to see us both at their sporting events and school activities.”

Excellent advice for parents....

SELMA star David Oyelowo was spotted arriving at LAX.  We're not sure where David was headed, but he sure has lot on his plate for 2015.  Maybe he's off to another acting gig?

In addition to Oscar buzz, David has signed on to star opposite Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o in the film adaptation of “Americanah.”

And thanks to SELMA producer Brad Pitt, folks around the world should no longer mispronounce David's last name.  Over the weekend, Brad introduced David at the Palm Springs International Film Festival recently where he created a song that taught the audience how to pronounce his last name.

EJ Johnson, who's been very open about his weight-loss surgery, was spotted dining at The Ivy over the weekend with his sister Elisa.

Since his surgery, EJ has lost over 60lbs and he explained why he chose surgery to PEOPLE saying, "[Weight] is something that I've been struggling with for pretty much all of my life. Nothing was working, and I wanted to make a more permanent decision to get back on track. [But] I wanted to wait until I was a little bit older to know how to handle myself afterwards."

We've seen the photog and fan shots of Beyonce, Jay Z and Blue Ivy enjoying their holiday getaway in Thailand and Cambodia. Now, Bey is sharing her own personal shots from her fabulous vacay. Well look who's putting in work in the studio. 50 Cent linked up with Chris Brown and Tyga likely laying some tracks for Breezy and T-Raww's upcoming Fan of a Fan album. No word on the actual release date, but based on CB's IG posts, fans can expect the LP sometime in 2015.

After trailing behind in the first half of the game, the Dallas Cowboys came back and took home the win against the Detroit Lions in the first round playoff game yesterday (24-20).

“Being Mary Jane” fans get excited! We are less than one month away from the premiere of the 2nd season of the drama series. And before the new season’s debut, a first look at a full scene from the debut episode has surfaced.

In the clip, Mary Jane (played by Gabrielle Union) is enjoying an evening with friends over drinks while engaging in an intellectual conversation about the current state of the black community and the economy. Things heat up when Mary Jane’s brother joins in the conversation about the black community over coming oppression, which sends Mary Jane over the edge. She BLASTS her brother (clearly intoxicated) in front of her friends, belittling him for the mistakes he has made in his life. And it gets pretty intense.

Keshia Knight Pulliam appeared on "Wendy" today where she discussed her shocking firing from "Celebrity Apprentice", which we told you about earlier. She was all smiles working a classy, yet sexy, black dress while stepping out of the the NYC studio.

A large part of the conversation covered why she didn't pick up the phone to call Bill Cosby for a donation.  She said, "For me to pick up the phone, having not talked to [him] for five years, except for when we run into each other for a Cosby event, I feel that's not my place to do."

Wendy went on to ask Keshia about the sexual allegations, she said, "None of us were there; there are two sides to a story, and we are in America, and it is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. It's a horrible situation however you slice it, but I feel that once the dust settles, then people will recognize how much he's given to our society with all of his work. You can't take that away."
