Party time! Both Drake and Toya Wright celebrated a birthday this past week. And last night, the two held two separate parties in Miami and Atlanta to celebrate. Peep their pics inside..

His birthday was last Friday (Oct. 24th) but that hasn’t stopped the festivities for 28-year-old Drake. Last week, he brought in his birthday with a swanky dinner at Bent restaurant in his hometown.

This week, he’s partying with his label homies. The Toronto born rapper rounded up his YMCMB crew, including head honcho Lil Wayne, to celebrate his birthday at the South Beach hotspot STORY nightclub in Miami last night, thanks to Hennessy V.S.

After a few drinks and mingling with the ladies, Drake hit up the DJ booth and turned his birthday bash into a show performance as he hit the stage to perform several of his hits. He was later joined on stage by rappers The Game and Travi$ Scott.

Drizzy’s boss Lil Wayne was sure to be in the building to celebrate his homie’s birthday.

And he was spotted puffing on a blunt, throwing up signs with one hand and a green "lollipop" in the other. Earlier this wek, Wayne announced his highly anticipated album Tha Carter V was being pushed back(once again). He revealed it would be released in two parts and the first part will drop Dec. 9th.

"Thim Slick" rapper Fabolous came out to party and toast it up with Drizzy.

Ray J was in the mix alongside what looks like rapper The Game wearing a red mask.

And here's The Game and rapper Travi$ Scott on stage.

Haunted House 2 star Marlon Wayans came to wish Drake a Happy Birthday.

And "Turn Down For What" rapper Lil Jon (who recently starred in a hilarious voting PSA) was also in the mix.

While her ex-husband partied in Miami, Toya Wright celebrated her 31st birthday (along with D'USSÉ ambassador Mr. Rugs) in downtown Atlanta with a few of her reality tv celeb friends.

The birthday girl (whose actual birthday was the 28th) partied with “Hollywood Exes” star Monyetta Shaw, former “RHOA” star Marlo Hampton, “Basketball Wives LA” star Malaysia Pargo, “LAHH ATL” star Tammy Rivera, “RHOA” husband Todd Tucker and of course, her hubby MempHitz.

October has been a celebratory month for Toya. Last week, she celebrated her 5th anniversary for her store Garb Boutique being in business.

Waka Flocka Flame's fiancée Tammy came to party in a cute LBD paired with pink Tom Ford pumps.

And Marlo...well...guess she's just being Marlo. Sighs....

Todd was spotted (sans his wife Kandi--she's currently filming at an unknown location with the "RHOA" cast) chilling out in the cut.

And "Married to Medicine" star Quad Webb Lunceford was also in the mix.

And chef JR Robinson ushered in Toya's black and gold tiered cake. Fun times!

TLAM2 star Meagan Good flashed a huge smile as she trekked through LAX airport with her luggage in tow yesterday.

The YBF starlet kept it cute and comfortable in a gray t-shirt, sweatpants, black combat boots and black hat for her upcoming trip.

Normally the one in front of the camera, Meagan put her directorial skills to use behind the lens for her new Halloween movie Dead Diaries Massacre, debuting online soon. Along with directing the short film, Meagan also starred in it alongside KarruecheTran and “Gossip Girl” actress Yin Chang.

Chris Brown and his girlfriend Karrueche were spotted on a date before Chris hit the stage at Power 105's Powerhouse concert last night. The lovebirds made a visit to an art gallery in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.

Guess Chris was looking for inspiration for his next graffiti mural project. You’ll recall, the "New Flame" singer spray painted a mural in Miami recently outside the House Of Wings restaurant in the Overtown neighborhood, likely satisfying some of his mandated community service.

In a recent interview with HOT 97, Breezy gushed over his "loyal" girlfriend in which he said,

“It’s been almost 5 years. She’s straight. I dig her man. She’s dope. I feel like, especially being in this industry, you just need somebody that understands you. Who understands who you are personally except for your name. Me and her have a real connection, like best friends on top of our intimacy.”

Nivea and Toya Wright may have a problem with Christina Milian allegedly dating Lil Wayne, but she doesn’t seem bothered.

Last night, she was spotted heading to Supper Club for a Halloween party. And who does she pop up at the party as? Well, her look screams "Chola Girl" to us.  But paparazzi on the scene claim she was dressed as her rumored beau Weezy.

While Wayne was partying with Drake for his birthday, the “Tina Turn Up” singer arrived at the party with her tear drop tattoo, flannel shirt and a huge smile.

Rihanna and Instagram have been RIHunited.  Late last night, the pop princess' @BadGalRiRi account was reinstated after an almost 6 month hiatus due to some rique photos she posted.  And she said 'Hello' to her 12 million followers with a couple of pics. 

We never thought we'd miss her and her InstaFoolery, but we did.

She posted the above pic saying, "#RIHunited #badgalback @instagRam".

And she gave us a selfie so we know it's real, saying, "Hellurrr #badgalback".

It's unclear as to what sparked the return, but it may have something to do with her 8th studio album that is rumored to be dropping before the year is over.

We're here for all the bad gal antics we know will get us through this messy winter.

Kanye and Kim West had a little date night last night.  And like with most of their date nights, it involved cameras and a red carpet.  Check out the lovey-dovey twosome cuddling up at the LACMA Gala last night...

Gucci's LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Barbara Kruger and Quentin Tarantino went down last night in Los Angeles. And The Wests were front and center for the event.

This time, though, they nixed their 'mean mugs' were smiling and laughing and canoodling all in front of the cameras:

Prince pulled a rare move last night and did a fabulous tv performance.  Chec out The Purple One taking over "SNL" with an 8 minute set.  Plus, Chris Rock returned to his old stomping grounds to host the show.

It's season 40 of "SNL" and the show is pulling out all the stops.  Prince was the musical guest last night.  He, his band 3rdEyeGirl and guest vocalist Lianne La Havas busted out an uninterrupted 8-minute medley of songs from his new albums 'Art Official Age' and 'Plectrumelectrum'.

Former "SNL" star Chris Rock, who was a cast member from 1990-1993, hosted the epic evening.  And we say epic because of Prince, not the barely funny episode. 

Chris was in pretty much every skit and his opening monologue--with jokes about the Freedom Tower and the Boston Marathon bombing--may have ruffled a few feathers.  Just how he likes it.

Nicki Minaj has revealed the cover of her upcoming album The Pink Print while Mariah Carey has announced a series of Christmas concerts. More inside...

Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj revealed the deluxe album cover for The Pink Print and confirmed the album's December 15th release date.  In the caption for the pic (above) she credited Kanye West's team (mostly like his DONDA group) with the cover's design. "This is actually the #Deluxe cover. I'll post the standard cover at a later date. #ThePinkprintAlbumCover thank u to the Kanye West team" 

In other Nicki news, her "Only" single features Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown is quickly racing up the charts...making her disc one of the most-anticipated of the year!

One of music's living legends, Mariah Carey, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her best-selling Christmas album Merry Christmas with a series of Christmas concerts in NYC and her first annual Christmas extravaganza entitled “All I Want for Christmas Is You: A Night of Joy and Festivity.”

The four shows will be held at the Beacon Theatre on December 15, 16, 18, and 20 and features selections from her holiday classic and the 2010 follow-up, Merry Christmas II You.

In a press release, Mimi spoke about the upcoming concerts saying, “I can’t imagine being anywhere more special than live on stage, in my hometown, celebrating with my fans during the Christmas season, my most treasured time of the year...I can’t wait!”

Mariah will wrap up her “Elusive Chanteuse Show” world tour on November 16 in Auckland, New Zealand.

Rocking a long ponytail and curve-hugging black dress, the 48-year-old took "Control" of the paparazzi and created a frenzy.

This is also the 25th anniversary of her classic Rhythm Nation 1814 disc, and for Halloween, Beyoncepaid tribute and rocked a "Rhythm Nation" costume! 

Ciara was also spotted on the red carpet for the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience Gala Event where she posed with Franca Sozzani, the editor of Italian Vogue.

Ciara also performed at the United Nations World Food Program gala (in Dubai) where she rocked a white Vionnet Paris gown.

After performing Sade's song "Pearls" she posed with designer Roberto Cavalli.

You know you've really "made it" when the industry names a phenomenon after you.  This month,  Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o sat down with GLAMOUR magazine this month where she talked about "The Lupita Effect" and how her "presence" has changed the game in both Hollywood and the industry of beauty.  It's dubbed "The Lupita Effect." 

In addition to landing the cover of the magazine's "Women of the Year 2014" issue, and sitting for her own interview, some of Lupita's most famous fans explained why she is a "gift" to Hollywood.  Here are the highlights:

On how her life has changed:

This is actually a conversation I look forward to having in 10 years, when all of this is behind me and I have some real perspective on what happened—because right now I'm still adjusting. I guess I feel catapulted into a different place; I have a little whiplash.... I did have a dream to be an actress, but I didn't think about being famous. And I haven't yet figured out how to be a celebrity; that's something I'm learning, and I wish there were a course on how to handle it. I have to be aware that my kinesphere may be larger than I want it to be.

I've had somebody say, "I want you at my wedding, but I don't want you to pull focus, so wear jeans!" Losing my anonymity is something that's proving to be very challenging.... It's good for your soul to walk around unnoticed; there's so much you can't do when everybody knows who you are. And I so miss those little things.

On winning the Oscar and life after:

I don't think I will ever be able to really articulate how bizarre it was to hear my name at the Academy Awards. I'd watched in my pajamas the year before! I felt numb—dazed and confused. I remember feeling light—weightless. More like limbo than cloud nine. At first I was like, This is my statue; nobody gets to touch it. And by midnight I was like, Please, someone, take this statue; it's too heavy! So I gave it to my brother, and he went off with it.

There was so much going on! It was overwhelming. That's the thing: You win an Oscar, and immediately people ask how you feel. So you don't have time to actually feel anything because you have to generate a response. And then some of the feelings you have are so intimate and visceral, words don't really do them justice.

On success and personal responsibility:

With success comes more responsibility, a larger size of existence, which is uncomfortable...I feel a responsibility to myself and my parents and the people whose love has gotten me this far—people who were in my life before fame. That's where I get my sense of self. It's deadly for anyone to take on that role of a deity; it's not sustainable. I've got tons of flaws. Call my mother—she'll tell you! She keeps it real. Sometimes you don't want to hear the truth; she'll tell it to you out of love.

On "the Lupita Effect"

I giggle. I just heard it for the first time. I've heard people talk about images in popular culture changing, and that makes me feel great, because it means that the little girl I was, once upon a time, has an image to instill in her that she is beautiful, that she is worthy—that she can... Until I saw people who looked like me, doing the things I wanted to, I wasn't so sure it was a possibility. Seeing Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah in The Color Purple, it dawned on me: "Oh—I could be an actress!" We plant the seed of possibility.
 

Actress Emma Thompson"As soon as Lupita appeared on the scene, I thought, This is a woman I need to photobomb. She's also an astounding actress. Oh, and a top human."

Playwright Eve Ensler "She is one of the great talents and spirits of our time, at the beginning of an extraordinary journey. I was literally knocked off my feet."

12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen added "We auditioned over 2,000 women all around the world. I always compare it to the search for Scarlett O'Hara. I had a tape of Lupita's, and I couldn't believe it. I thought, Is this person real?... She's a total professional, incredible."

The fab mother-of-one (whose daughter Isabelle is now 6-months-old) stopped by to chit-chat with “The View” ladies about her role as Olivia Pope on the hit ABC series and her "Scandal" inspired clothing line. She also talked about wearing “barely there” makeup for her “barefaced” Allure magazine cover and being a perfectionist.

Suge Knight was admitted to the hospital this weekend after he passed out twice, due to blood clots, while in a Las Vegas jail. The former mogul was taken into custody last week after he was charged with one count of robbery for allegedly stealing a camera from a photographer in Beverly Hills, California, last month (comedian Katt Williams was also implicated in the crime).

What landed Suge in the hopsital apparently stems from injuries he sustained after he was shot six times in the stomach, two months ago. He'd been on a heavy dose of blood thinners but was not able to take his meds while locked up...this led to blood clots.

Since he's already posted $75K bail, he's expected to be released from jail as soon as he makes a full recovery in the hospital.  In the meantime, he's due in court on Thursday.  We'll keep you posted....

Cuffing season is in full effect! Big Sean and his new girlfriend Ariana Grande are sharing some social media PDA, posting up their first couple selfie. Meanwhile, it looks like singer Luke James may have a new chick. And might be singer Jessie J. More inside....

Big Sean and Ariana Grande seem to be getting closer by the minute.

After finally confirming what we all were speculating, Big Sean and his girlfriend Ariana Grande are now ready to share their love with the world. And already, he’s proving to be the supportive boyfriend.

The G.O.O.D. rapper (re)posted a “selfie” with the “Right There” singer as he accompanied her to a “celebration of life” ceremony held in honor of Ariana’s deceased grandfather. Before they made their way to the event, Big Sean captured their first coupledom pic (well…the first THEY took of themselves) and posted it to Instagram to share with his 1.9 million followers. He captioned the snapshot (above), “repost: my baby @arianagrande”

And proving she’s just as head over heels as he is, Ariana posted the same picture for her 18 million followers.

Hmm…being invited to family functions definitely screams they’re getting serious. If they like it we love it.

And in another possibly budding romance....

Looks like R&B crooner Luke James may have a new chick by his side. You’ll recall, over the summer he confirmed he was dating Beyonce’s tour dancer Kim Gingras. But apparently, things didn’t quite work out for the two.

NOW…he’s all up on social media e-flirting with “Bang Bang” singer Jessie J!

The British singer hopped on Instagram earlier today to announce her “Man Crush Monday” and it was none other than the “Options” singer. It wasn’t so much him being her #MCM that caught our eye, it was her caption. She posted:

There were some crazy shenanigans on social media over the weekend between Blac Chyna, Tyga and Drake.  Get the back story on the alleged Twitter hijacking inside...

Over the weekend, Blac Chyna claims her Twitter was hijacked by her baby daddy Tyga.  Of course, Tyga won't confirm any of this but there's a messy backstory.  We'll start at the end and work our way back to the beginning.  Here goes.....

It's clear from Blac Chyna's post that she and Tyga are not on good terms (and she suspects that he's playing childish games).  She let her followers know she just wants to co-parent and focus on her eyelash company called LASHED.  Want to see the HIJACKED tweets that prompted this exchanged? Here goes...

SMH.....those tweets were super shady and had to be hurtful.  Especially if they were actually from someone you love(d).  Moving onto what led to this....Tyga and Kylie Jenner went out to a Halloween party together.  AND they went out to a movie last night (see pics here).  Though they still deny being a couple, it looks suspicious. 

Once the Halloween pic hit the internet...Drake aka Drizzy got a little messy and posted a pic of Kylie hanging with him alongside the caption"Kylie in the cut."  You'll recall that Tyga and Drake don't get along so you can see how this could be seen as "shade." 

Then Tyga posted this.  Who is he referring to?  We're not sure...... 

At some point Blac Chyna jumped in the mix and tagged Drake in posted some selfies and even quoted his lyrics.  Messy boots....Perhaps all those exchanges, tweets and subtweets inspired someone to hack Blac Chyna's account.......or was it Tyga?

On Instagram, Tyga posted pic of himself with his son King Cairo recently.  Nice....we hope the parents can figure out how to work together.
