Keyshia Cole is on a quest to expand her brand with the launch of her second shoe line with fashion footwear designer Steve Madden.

On Thursday, the “Rick James” singer made her way to Macy’s Herald Square in NYC for a meet and greet with adoring fans. Hosted by Steve Madden brand ambassador Julissa Bermudez, Keyshia appeared before a packed store of screaming fans to sign autographs and snap pics.
 

With her platform pumps, ankle booties and gladiator sandals in an array of colors and prints on display, KC gushed on her latest line saying, "As my second line with Steve Madden gets released, I want young women to feel they are the latest trendsetters, feeling sexy and being comfortable at the same time.”

Keyshia and Julissa posed it up on the carpet rocking shoes from her new line. Key Key is wearing her KC-Maven gladiator sandal in pewter (which retails for $159) and Julissa is sporting the fire red peep-toe KC-FRNZY platform sandal (which also retails for $159).

Why do I even open anything up to you. In what other real life situation would you walk up to someone and tell them they're fat or gained weight? Seriously you are POS.”

Olivia Pope & Associates just lost a Gladiator. Columbus Short has released a statement revealing he will NOT be returning for the 4th season.  And word has it...he was FIRED!  Read the deets inside…

With the recent drama—or better yet, scandal-- surrounding “Scandal” star Columbus Short allegedly threatening to kill his wife and take his own, we kinda saw this one coming.

Columbus will no longer be starring in ABC’s hit scripted series “Scandal” when it returns for the 4th season. We were left on the edge of our seats in the season 3 finale when Columbus’ character Harrison looked as if he was going to get shot by one of Papa Pope’s agents. Guess we now know how it will end for Harrison on the show after he issued a statement revealing he's exiting the show.

In a statement released via his publicist, the actor said:

"At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today. I would like to first thank [creator] Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast. Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful.”

You’ll recall, Columbus was kicked out of his house by a judge after hiswife filed for divorce (for the third time) and a restraining order against him after he allegedly tried to kill her. At the time of his and his wife's most recent altercation, he was in the process of being investigated by the LAPD for allegedly getting into a bar fight with another man, knocking him unconscious and breaking his nose.

Sources are saying ABC is firing him because of his personal scandal(s).  Guess Shonda was nice enough to let him “step down” rather than just firing him.

Hope he gets it together.  Because going back to those "Stomp The Yard" movies will NOT be what's hot....

Rihanna was living it up courtside at the Barclays center for the Brooklyn vs. Toronto NBA payoff game Friday night.  But it's who she hit the game with....and what she forgot at home that had folks all a-Twitter.  Deets inside...

Oh, hey Rih.  And Rih's nips.  As soon as Rihanna walked into the Barclays Center to take her courtside seat, everyone had something to say about her bra-less, see-through white shirt that put her boobs on full display.

It's an odd pairing on the surface, but we did some digging and learned that James Young is not only a top NBA draft pick, but he also played on Drake's fave NCAA team, the University of Kentucky.

Interestingly, there have been (unconfirmed) rumors that Drake and Rihanna have cooled off their hot new relationship they never admitted to.

Well this is the saddest ish we've heard this week.  Not because (gasp!), some multi-millionaire reared their racist head.  We're no longer shocked by that.  But it's incredibly sad that there has been hardly any uproar--not even from the players themselves--about the L.A. Clippers owner saying ON TAPE that black people--including Magic Johnson--are not welcomed at his games...and he doesn't even want blacks in pictures with him or his girlfriend.

For those who give a damn...deets inside....

You can't control racist assholes, but you damn sure can control the role YOU will have in their racist antics.  The owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, Donald Sterling (seen above sitting courtside with the ball and eyeing Chris Paul), was caught on tape saying some disgustingly racist things about blacks.  He's demanding her to stop "bringing blacks" to Clippers games and stop taking pictures with them (this time it was a picture with Magic Johnson) and posting those pictures publicly.  He sounds absolutely disgusted by blacks.  Which is nothing new. But here's the real gag--he said these things to his girlfriend V. Stiviano -- who is half black and half Mexican herself!

And V. seemed to oblige his wishes since she removed the Instagram pics he was upset about.  Anything for a multi-million dollar penis, right girl?  Pathetic.  Racist white men who love sexing black women is nothing new...but now that Sterling's ish is public, the black woman he's sexing actually comes off more pathetic than him.

Here's the tea from TMZ:

Sterling rails on Stiviano -- who ironically is black and Mexican -- for putting herself out in public with a black person (she has since taken the pic down). But it doesn't end there. You have to listen to the audio to fully grasp the magnitude of Sterling's racist worldview. Among the comments:

-- "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?" (3:30)

-- "You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games." (5:15)

-- "I’m just saying, in your lousy f******* Instagrams, you don’t have to have yourself with, walking with black people." (7:45)

-- "...Don't put him [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games." (9:13)

Sterling has a documented history of allegedly racist behavior -- he's been sued twice by the federal government for allegedly refusing to rent apartments to Blacks and Latinos.

He was also sued by former Clippers exec Elgin Baylor for racial discrimination -- though a jury was ultimately not convinced and shot down Baylor's case.

He's also been known to allegedly refer to players as "N*ggers".  Check out the horrific 9+ minutes of audio between Don and V. below, where V even says she wishes she could change the color of her skin!  This woman actually apologized to Don because of HIS insecurity (he was mad she took a pic with Magic Johnson and posted it) and HIS racism.  And hates her own skin because of it?  Absolutely Pathetic.

And if you're confused on how an NBA owner can be A-OK with blacks PLAYING for him, but does not want blacks attending games or being publicly connected to his or his girlfriend's lives (and being racist in other parts of his life), don't be.  Slave owners never thought of blacks as fully human and often hated blacks in general--yet blacks were allowed to work for and around their family, even take care of their children.  Not to mention the sexual relations that occurred between slave owners and their slaves.  And since the NBA is often said to be a vision of modern day slavery, it's a similar concept.

We can only wonder if the players, of all races, will actually use the power they rarely realize they have and refuse to play until the owner is ousted.  Or is that asking for too much?  Surely seems that way.  There has been barely any uproar about these leaked tapes, so it seems many folks are OK with being utterly disrespected as a human being, as long as they get their check.

Hopefully those YBF celebs who are just dying to be seen courtside at the Clippers game will think twice about supporting a team with a seemingly VERY racist owner who does not even want them there.  But asking a celeb to not let thirst outweigh what's morally right is....asking for a lot.

The leaders of the Clippers team--both on the court (like Chris Paul and Blake Griffin) and off the court need to speak up.  If they don't, they are silently co-signing on being disrespected as a human being, publicly, by your pathetic ass employer.  And that's an incredibly sad scenario for the world--including their own kids--to see.  Accepting any and all treatment for the sake of a check is a dangerous situation.  When you're touted as a leader and a role model, you have to act like a leader when it counts.  Not just sit back and collect your millions at all costs, because of the easy cop out --"There's nothing we can do about racist people".  I expect more.  I expect them to not act like million dollar slaves.  Hopefully others do too.

By the way, Clippers players have remained mum since this story surfaced.  But Magic commented: "It's a shame that Donald Sterling feels that way about African-Americans....He has a team full of amazing African-American basketball players that are working to bring a championship to Clippers fans. The Clippers also have a strong minority fan base."

In this situation, the main people with the DIRECT power to affect this situation are the players, the leadership in the front office, Clipper fans, celebrities who bring attention to the Clippers by attending their games (that the Clippers organization OFTEN hand them tickets to), and sponsors.

We shall see...

Ish has hit the fan with L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling and his (alleged) horribly racist remarks about black people....and Magic Johnson.  Find out what is being said now inside...

L.A. Clippers President Andy Roeser has put out a statement that is doing nothing short of spinning this entire story to make Donald Sterling look like the victim.  And Roeser even went as far as accusing the girlfriend, who is on the tape, of being the person who turned in the tapes.  And they linked the reasoning to an alleged lawsuit she is involved in at the hands of the Sterling family.  There is no proof yet to back up this accusation (which seems to be an attempt at changing the conversation), but here it goes:

We have heard the tape on TMZ.  We do not know if its legitimate or it has been altered.  We do not know if it is legitimate or it has been altered.  We do know that the woman on the tape--who we believe released it to TMZ--is the defendant in a lawsuit brought by the Sterling family alleging that she embezzled more than $1.8 million, who told Mr. Sterling that she would 'get even.'  

Mr. Sterling is emphatic that what is reflected on that recording is not consistent with nor does it reflect his views, beliefs or feelings.  It is the antithesis of who he is, what he believes and how he has lived his life. He feels terrible that such sentiments are being attributed to him and apologizes to anyone who might have been hurt by them.  He is also upset and apologizes for sentiments attributed to him about Earvin Johnson.  He has long considered Magic a friend and has only the utmost respect and admiration for him0both in terms of who he is and what he has achieved.  We are investigating this matter."

The old "he's not racist and his comments were misconstrued" argument strikes again.

The statement never once said that it's NOT Donald on the tape.  And whether he was "set up" or not, the words still appear to be SAID by him...not just "sentiments attributed to him" like President Roeser seems to be trying to sway public opinion a certain way by saying.  

Intersestingly, Magic Johnson seems to believe owner Sterling is totally capable of these words, maybe because of the SEVERAL racial discrimantion suits Sterling's been involved in.  Magic tweeted today:

Powerful!  Thankfully, some folks get the necessity of taking a stance.  Clippers baller Deandre Jordan posted a black square, which is believed to be a statement of black power:

Charles Barkley, speaking to Don Lemon on CNN today, has called for suspension (even if it's ceremonial) of Donald Sterling as this is one time too many Sterling has gone entirely too far with his ignorant actions.

The NBA's VP of Communications Mike Bass put out this statement:

We are in the process of conducting a full investigation into the audio recording obtained by TMZ.  The remarks heard on the reording are disturbing and offensive, but at this time we have no further information.

 

A person in a position of power who is allowed to say ANY racially discimantory words against an entire gorup of people, many of which they have made a PROFIT off of, can not be allowed.  It simply CAN NOT BE allowed.  Back in the day, players like Bill Russell took the risk of taking a stand for the greater good.  Some type of action needs to be taken by Coach Doc Rivers (who reportedly was PISSED and had a statemrnt that was mysteriously tossed to the side and superceded by President Roeser's statement above), players and/or the Commissioner to show you have self respect, and respect for your players.

The Clippers had a meeting this morning for about 45 minutes, according to NBA TV reporter David Aldridge, and they have decided not to boycott and to focus solely on tomorrow's playoff game against the Golden State Warriors. 

A press conference will be happening tonight at 8:30p ET by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver tonight on the matter and it will air on NBA TV.

In case you missed it, Peri "Pebbles" Reid kept to her word and filed a $40 million lawsuit against Viacom over that "TLC Story" TV movie.  Deets inside...

Remember when Pebbles threatened to sue EVERYBODY involved with "The TLC Story" after it aired on VH1 last year?  And she spilled all the piping hot tea on "The Wendy Show" soon after?  Well, she's made good on her promise.

Pebbles is taking Viacom, VH1's parent company, to task over what she claims is a false story that defames her character.  Page Six reports:

Reid claims in Atlanta federal court that the 2013 VH1 movie portrays her “as a conniving and dishonest business woman who hoodwinked three innocent girls and exploited their talent for her own personal gain.”

An R&B singer who has herself sold over 4 million records, Reid says in the suit that Viacom “ignored fundamental canons of journalistic and literary conduct by publishing false and defamatory accusations with actual malice.”

The suit filed late Friday states that, contrary to what VH1 viewers saw, Reid never controlled TLC’s lawyers or accountants, never withheld contract terms from TLC and always paid the group what they were owed.

Pebbles has been speaking out about the alleged falseities in the VH1 TV movie, despie VH1 putting out a disclaimer that the movie was LOOSELY based on a true story.

The movie shed light on what allegedly went down with the members of TLC and why they went bankrupt, which appeared to be due to the lies and stealing done by their manager Pebbles.

I have to say that after listening to the full audio clip of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racists comments towards (minorities) specifically African Americans & Hispanics, I am totally outraged & very upset !!! He also went on to say that because Magic Johnson was black he did not want Magic to attend any of the Los Angeles Clippers games. Myself being African American & having a huge Hispanic following... I find myself in a position to defend both my heritage & that of all of the Hispanic community, not only here but around the world.... Whom, both are very supportive of not only the Los Angeles Clippers, but every professional sports franchise in Los Angeles & elsewhere specifically the Los Angeles Dodgers... Whose owner & opposing Los Angeles Lakers great "Earvin Magic Johnson" was both disrespected & racially profiled by the Clippers owner. Not sure on exact numbers but I'm pretty sure Hispanics alone make up at least 65% of ticket buyers for Los Angeles Clippers games as well as merchandising. With that said, it was not only ignorant & racist but a non-calculated & disgusting business move on Donald Sterlings part. In the support of my own race, Hispanics & every other race whose been fighting current & past racism I have now started the #ESC which is short for #EMPTYSEATCAMPAIGN asking ALL Los Angeles residents to boycott the next Clippers game by not attending which will prove that we are more of a MAJORITY than the previously stated "minority" label given to us by Mr. Sterling. Although I feel for friends of mine that play for the Clippers franchise such as @CP3 whose own team owner considers a minority...... While pouring this man Don Sterling some juice and catering to everything he wants, we can hear Don showing his true colors to 20-something girlfriend V.Stiviano on the extended leaked audio.  Don really is trying to convince this woman, who we're pretty convinced only SOUNDS like she's baiting him but she likely just sounds like this all the time, that he's NOT a racist. 

He actually believes that it's only the rest of world who's racist.  And he's simply catering to who and what the racist people (who he obviously values) want and don't want to see.

GF: "I don't understand, I don't see your views. I wasn't raised the way you were raised."

Sterling: "Well then, if you don't feel -- don't come to my games. Don't bring black people, and don't come."

GF: "Do you know that you have a whole team that's black, that plays for you?"

Sterling: "You just, do I know? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses. Who gives it to them? Does someone else give it to them? Do I know that I have—Who makes the game? Do I make the game, or do they make the game? Is there 30 owners, that created the league?"

And there's more.  V., who is half black and half Mexican, explained that she didn't remove MLB baller Matt Kemp from her Instagram pics (after their original fight over her posting IG pics with black people)...because he's MIXED and LIGHTER THAN HER:

V: Honey, if it makes you happy, I will remove all of the black people from my Instagram.

DS: You said that before, you said, "I understand."

V: I DID remove the people that were independently on my Instagram that are black.

DS: Then why did you start saying that you didn't? You just said that you didn't remove them. You didn't remove every—

V: I didn't remove Matt Kemp and Magic Johnson, but I thought—

DS: Why?

V: I thought Matt Kemp is mixed, and he was OK, just like me.

DS: OK.

V: He's lighter and whiter than me.

DS: OK.

V: I met his mother.

DS: You think I'm a racist, and wouldn't—

V: I don't think you're a racist.

DS: Yes you do. Yes you do.

V: I think you, you—

DS: Evil heart.

V: I don't think so.  I think you have an amazing heart honey.  I think the people around you have poisoned minds.

They then went on to a conversation of equating Don's beliefs, especially as a Jewish man, to that of the Holocaust.  He wasn't pleased.

DS: It's the world! You go to Israel, the blacks are just treated like dogs.

V: So do you have to treat them like that too?

DS: The white Jews, there's white Jews and black Jews, do you understand?

V: And are the black Jews less than the white Jews?

DS: A hundred percent, fifty, a hundred percent.

V: And is that right?

DS: It isn't a question—we don't evaluate what's right and wrong, we live in a society. We live in a culture. We have to live within that culture.

V: But shouldn't we take a stand for what's wrong? And be the change and the difference?

DS: I don't want to change the culture, because I can't. It's too big and too [unknown].

V: But you can change yourself.

DS: I don't want to change. If my girl can't do what I want, I don't want the girl. I'll find a girl that will do what I want! Believe me. I thought you were that girl—because I tried to do what you want. But you're not that girl.

Meanwhile, folks were up in arms this weekend when it was discovered that the L.A. branch of the NAACP was set to give Donald Sterling his SECOND Lifetime Achievement Award this month.  After much outcry, the NAACP's California Conference President has put out a statement calling for all black fans to NOT go to games, as Sterling requested.  And the L.A. branch has retracted the award:

Sterling has a long public history of lawsuits and accusations involving racial discrimination.  So the question remains, why was this man ever considered for this award in the first place....and for the SECOND time? 

President Obama has even weighed in on the matter, all the way in Malaysia today, calling Sterling's remarks "racist" and "incredibly offensive".

"I don't think I have to interpret those statements for you. They kind of speak for themselves.

"When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk."

"I suspect the NBA is going to be deeply concerned in resolving this."

"We just have to be clear and steady in denouncing it, teaching our children differently but also (remain) hopeful that part of why some statements like this stand out so much is because there has been a shift in how we view ourselves."

Agreed!

In other news, the NBA has ordered Sterling to "stay home" instead of attending today's Clippers playoff game at the Oracle Arena in Oakland....

Via a sign of silent protest, the Clippers players made a statement at the start of today's game against the Golden State Warriors minutes ago.  Check it inside...

Amidst the fallout of the Clippers owner Donald Sterling's racist foolery, the Clippers team decided to make a joint statement in protest of their owner's actions. 

The men huddled up at center court at beginning of their warm-ups, threw their official Clippers warm-up uniforms to the floor & wore their practice jerseys inside out.  The Clippers emblem was nowhere to be found.

Throughout the game, Chris Paul is wearing a black t-shirt under his jersey and ALL players are wearing black bands around their arms, believed to be statements of black power.

At the very least, they've taken a definitive stand in condemning the racist remarks, which is extremely important on a platform as large as this.  The world is watching.  So are our children.

P.S. Don Sterling's wife Shelly--yes, he's still legally married--traveled with the team. And she is AT the Clippers game in Oakland right now...cheering on the team. How convenient. We're still side-eyeing her and her possible role in the bugging/leaking of the audio. She's also the plaintiff who named Don's girlfriend V. in that previously mentioned embezzlement lawsuit...

The annual New Orleans 10-day Jazz Festival kicked off this weekend, and Think Like A Man Too star Kevin Hart was there for the festivities with girlfriend Eniko.

The twosome were spotted grabbing some food and drinks before taking in some performances.  And Kevin was even gentleman enough to carry his woman's Goyard bag for her.

The drama continued off screen after Round 2 of the "RHOA" reunion aired Sunday night.  As for the drama between NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey...NeNe's now ready to say her piece.  And it's a LONG piece.  Check out how she puts Cynthia on blast inside....and offers up text message receipts....

On Sunday night's reunion show installment, NeNe was upset that her frenemy Cynthia Bailey was attempting to bring up old ish...in front of the rest of the laadies.  NeNe said she found it odd Cynthia had "forgiven" her for the "Peter stop acting like a b*tch" comment in October of last year.  And they have spent tons of time together since then being Best Friends again--Thanksgiving, New Years Eve, Fashion Week and more.

So when Cynthia appeared to be shocked and appalled when the episode of the Peter/NeNe fight aired, NeNe accused Cynthia of letting the audience and 'outside talk' change her mind about making up with NeNe.  And she also accused her of trying to create a storyline to save her job on the show, all at NeNe's expense.

After blowing Cynthia and her tears off on Sunday night's episode, NeNe said her FULL piece on IG after the show aired.  She posted the pic above--pics of them together since October of last year--and said the below:

Mama Joyce auditioned for her "peach" last night in a hilarious laugh-a-minute "RHOA" reunion appearance which she capped off with her 40lbs weight loss regime.....get Todd Tucker as a son-in-law! More inside....

The "RHOA" season six reunion has MANY MANY highlights (or lowlights) from Kenya vs. Porsha to Nene vs. Cynthia, but one of the most unexpected and unforgettable moments from last night was the brief yet very memorable appearance of Mama Joyce.

We have to admit that Mama Joyce seemed three sheets to the wind....and it was entertaining.  Mama Joyce started IMMEDIATELY by revealing that she'd dropped 40lbs due to STRESS (aka Todd Tucker).  Here are a few notable one-liners:

She called me a bitch....she ain't got nothing!

On fighting:

It's been a long time but I can still wrap a good wig up.

On supporting her kids, stripping and NeNe:

(talking to Nene) I didn't go to no club, but believe me if the clubs was paying then what they paying now...hey baby...I would have been swinging on the pole too.  With the body that I had back then......

Part III of the "RHOA" reunion airs Sunday 7/8ET.

Rihanna was spotted courtside at the Net vs. Raptors game over the weekend...pointing out her favorite plays and players.  More inside.....

Rihanna was spotted at the Barclays Center (again) where she watched Drake's favorite team, the Toronto Raptors, take on the Brooklyn Nets. 

She wore a Christopher Kane camo print dress with a navy Isabel Marant varsity jacket and Nike Air Jordan hightops.  And her outfit was a definite departure from the nipple baring top she wore to a previous game.

While sitting courtside with Melissa, she had a little fun with a "finger."

She and Mel cheered on their favorite team and literally pointed out some of their favorite moments.  The Raptors won 87-79.
