Janelle Monae's Electric Lady disc arrived in stores today and she celebrated the release with a star-studded release party and performance last night.

"Kisses Down Low" singer "X Factor" judge Kelly Rowland made her debut appearance on "ELLEN" today where she was shocked by Ellen's revelation that she was an ORIGINAL member of Destiny's Child.  Ha!

Kelly added that Ellen was the one who started all the fights.

Kelly joined Simon Cowell on the couch as they promoted the new season of "X Factor" (which premiere tomorrow) and shared a laugh about Simon becoming a "baby daddy."  Also, Kelly said he's a big diva who has more products and knows more makeup tricks than she does.

All of Kelly's Rowland Stones can catch her on "X: Factor" premiering Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 11th & 12th at 8/7c on FOX.

FX has released a new promo of their series American Horror Story which focuses on a coven of witches in New Orleans. Starring Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and Gabourey Sidibe, the season will span several time periods with Angela and Jessica playing leaders of their separate covens. Gabby plays a young witch being initiated into one of the covens.

Angela talked to Collider.com about her role saying, 

Well, I play Marie Laveau. It’s been interesting, being in New Orleans, because there’s such a regard and respect for who she was. She lived to about 80 years old, and she was a very influential person in the city. My character is based loosely on her.

I read a fictional novel by Tallant, called The Voodoo Queen. I’ve read two books about her, one that’s more historical and one that’s her life, but put into novel form. It’s just very interesting. We’ve been filming in the French Quarter. But, I don’t know exactly where it’s going, so I’m remaining open and just picking up little things. Her father was French Creole, and he gave her gold earrings. Spain occupied Louisiana longer than the French did. I’m also talking to folks from there and just getting a take on how they see her or what they feel about her, to get a sense of who she was and her power in the 1800s, as this black Creole woman.

American Horror Story: Coven is set to premiere Oct. 9.

Last night in NYC, Diddy swept in to help honor his original baby moms, Misa Hylton, at the "Pynk Power Dinner."  Check out pics of Misa and friends celebrating her accomplishments.  Plus, we talked to Diddy about why he WON'T be the face of REVOLT TV....

Mecca Moore's PYNK Magazine continued their "Pynk Power Dinner" series last night.  And they honored stylist Misa Hylton, who rocked a vintage Norma Kamali jumpsuit with Chanel jewelry and Prada shoes, for all that she has done in the industry.

Misa's co-parent of son Justin Combs, Diddy, was front and center to join in on the celebration at Philippe Chow on the upper east side.

But before the dinner yesterday, TheYBF.com caught up with Diddy to dish about REVOLT TV.  You've seen the videos everywhere, his diddy jet dancing, and Mr. Combs prepping to bring his very own network to cable TV.  But we wanted to know if he was going to pull an Oprah and become the face of his own network.  The answer: Absolutely not.

"No, I will not be the face of REVOLT. This is a transition and evolution for me on providing more opportunities."

Diddy candidly continued:

"I want our on-air personalities to be teenagers, to look like the fans. I want them to know its okay when they make their mistakes because we're going to be making mistakes behind the scenes too. I don't want to promise anyone anything because we're going to be doing a lot of f*cking up. But it's going to be made for great television and it's going to be honest, truthful, fearless, and we're going to get better everyday."

And we support it!

Diddy clearly has mad love for his now long time friend Misa (who's super sweet) as he and his Bad Boy artist French Montana made an appearance in her honor.  And yes, we're overlooking these stockings.

Last night, photographers spotted Rihanna after a photocall where she launched her new collection.  And she rocked her own clothes from the line head to toe.

Rocking a black and white fur varsity jacket, see-through shirt and skinny metallic jeans from the latest RI collection, her blue lipstick was the most eye-catching feature of her "look".

Held at River Island's flagship store on Oxford Street, the "Phresh Out The Runway" singer tweeted, 'UK Navy, I'm in London today launching the Autumn #RihannaforRiverIsland range.'

While speaking about her latest collection in a promotional video for the company, Rihanna said, 'I literally designed everything I want to wear — exactly how I want to wear it.' So......

Last night, two of Atlanta's most talked about couples (unfortunately), Stevie J & Joseline Hernandez& Lil' Scrappy& Bambi, stepped out to party with the cast of "The New Atlanta".  Pics inside....

Last night, Mona Scott Young's Monami Entertainment/Eastern linked up with Myx Fusions Moscato (which Mona co-owns with Nicki Minaj) to preview Bravo’s “The New Atlanta” and celebrate the ATL launch of the drink company.  So, of course, Mona was joined by some of her "LAHH ATL" all-stars.

Since he defended her honor at a gas station a few weeks ago, it looks like Bambi and Lil' Scrappy are hanging in there and making their "love" work.  We're sure Bambi is excited about appearing on television again (since her stint on "BBW LA" is a wrap)  and can't wait for the film crews to start following Lil' Scrappy again.  

Joseline and Stevie J were boo'd up on the red carpet.  Since the couple revealed to Hip Hop Weekly that they're married, which we're still side eyeing, we bet they're going for a spinoff show.   

Producer Jazze Pha was spotted mingling with the group.

On the blue carpet, the "LAHH ATL" couples posed with Mona and the cast of "The New Atlanta" which premieres Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 10pm ET/PT on Bravo.

After denying all accusations of "alleged" prostitution hunting, DJ Mister Cee has officially resigned from his 20 year stint at Hot 97.  His statement and a side eye worthy video inside...

All that"alleged" (supposedly male) prostitute solicitation drama (more than once) Mister Cee was caught up in has finally taken a toll on his career.  Mister Cee initially tried to clear up the situation, but he made it worse.  The "situation" was already complete with police report receipts and he swore up and down the cops "set him up".

But today, Alexandra Cameron, SVP/General Manager of HOT97, sent this official statement:

“Due to some personal circumstances that have become public, after 20 years of service, Mr Cee has chosen to resign. We feel that this is in the best interest of both HOT 97 and Cee’s personal well-being. While we do not endorse the alleged activities, he is clearly facing a personal dilemma that is for him and only him to comment on. We are saddened by his departure; his contributions here at HOT 97 were great and we know him as a friend, a caring individual and significant hip hop advocate. We wish Mr Cee the best and will always consider him a family member of HOT 97.

Moments ago, he officially signed off, on the air and will finish out his last show today on September 11, 2013, an already sad day for New York City.”

Meanwhile, this video came out today by drag queen & online personality Bimbo Winehouse.  And we can only wonder if this is what prompted Mister Cee to abruptly resign.

Bimbo claims "a DJ" picked him up on 8th Ave. in Manhattan and offered him money for "services" that he did not get.  And Bimbo claims he was promptly kicked out the car and called a "bitch".

This audio & semi-video is what Bimbo has as his receipts.  We hear Bimbo asking a man who sounds VERY much like Cee if he wants a "straight f*ck for $100" since that's what he was offered.  Bimbo is also heard asking the man who sounds like Cee if he wants oral. It's unclear as to why Bimbo hopped in his car in the first place since he said at beginning of the video that he is not a prostitute. We smell a setup...

As the two ride around trying to find a inconspicuous spot, we hear the man who sounds like Cee say,"I'm trying to get some good head and you f*ckin leery as I don't know what".

*UPDATE* Here's Mister Cee's final mix and his own words about resigning that aired today.  He vaguely said he has not been able to move forward past the issues even though he has tried to make things better.  So instead of hurting his Hot 97 family, he has decided to leave.

Serena Williams, who recently copped her fifth US Open title, was seen walking through the streets of New York yesterday.  

The purporse of the stroll may have started off as a "dog walk", but Serena handed off her pooch to an asstant, allowing her to text on her smart phone during the walk.  

Along the way, the gracious tennis champ stopped to pose for several pics and even signed autographs.  

And if you're wondering whether Serena's taking a break from playing, she told the New York Times that she has no plans to slow down.  “I don’t know why. I don’t feel tired. Whenever I feel like I’m in a position where I don’t feel good and I need a break, you won’t see me on the tour. I will take that week off to get my mind together. I haven’t felt that yet.”

Over the weekend, Dwyane celebrated the 10th annivesary of his Wade's World foundation while Gabby chilled out in San Fran for the 49ers game.  He hosted a gala honoring Steve Harvey and a festival featuring a performance from Mindless Behavior.  

Meanwhile, Gabby, who rocked a flirty black and yellow polka dot knee length skirt, her fave T strap black sandals and a white sleeveless blouse, recently wrapped filming Think Like A Man 2 (in theaters June 20, 2014).

Zoe Saldana just pulled a Kerry Washington...kinda.  We knew she was dating her new artsy guy Marco Peregofor a week few months, but their reported wedding was done in complete secrecy.

Back at the end of May, we spotted Zoe Saldana and her new beau--for the first time--kissing all over Italy.  Since this was only a short time after her break up with ex Bradley Cooper, it wasn't clear if this was a super serious relationship.

But apparently, it was serious enough for them to marry!

Us Weekly reports that according to their source, Zoe & Marco got hitched back in May, which is only about a month after they supposedly started dating.  But according to a source, "They've known each other for a long time."

A source told the mag, "Zoe's thrilled to have someone she can enjoy life with!"

Just last week, we posted pics of Zoe & Marco in London hiding what we said looked like wedding rings.  And now we know, they very likely are.

Meanwhile, while tigers were roaring away and had they gotten out every person at that party would have acted the plum fool running for their lives, Bambi and Scrappy showed up.

By the way, 2 Chainz is already pissed ta his label home Def Jam for undershipping his album.  He toldAngie Martinez this week during Hot 97's In Studio interview series that "I'm already pissed." 

He says fans likely won't be able to find the album.  And therefore, he's set up to sell less than he would if the stash was plentiful.  He may have a point there...

And speaking of fab chicks, Tamar Braxton came in #2 on the music charts atop Billboard 200 with her debut of Love & War.  And she has the #1 R&B album in the county.

And just announced today, the hard working new mommy is also busting out a new project before the end of the year...because a tour, relationship book, two reality shows and an album weren't enough.

Tamar is set to put out a Christmas album on October 22nd (2 days after her tour kick off).  And she says she's putting her "swagger and soul" under the tree with a few classics.  And she's also belting out a few original tunes.

For the first time since he resigned yesterday from Hot 97, Mister Cee spoke VERY openly this morning about why he resigned.  And he finally admits to soliciting transsexual/drag queen men and prostitutes.  And he also said he will come back to do his job at noon today. We've got everything Cee had to say inside as he had a total breakdown on the air...

While talking to Ebro on the Hot 97 Morning Show this AM, Mister Cee finally admitted to his truth.  He denies being a gay man, but he does admit to participating in oral sex with men who are dressed as women.

On having sex with transsexuals (Mister Cee used the word Transsexual and he may also be including transvestites)

Have I lied about getting head in a car from a transsexual?  Yes.  I have been in denial about this for a very long time.  Do I consider myself gay?  No.  I have gotten fellatio from transvestites.  And that's as far as it went.  I never had actual sexual intercourse with another man.  Or vice versa.

I know that I love women.  But occasionally I get the urge to have fellatio with a transsexual, a man that looks like a woman.

On getting help

I don't look at what I do as a problem, it's a problem that affects the people around me.  I was already in motion of repairing that and trying to move better for what I did in my private life.  With the situation that happened in May with the undercover male officer, everything I told you was the God's honest truth.  I went to court Monday and the charges were dropped.  I haven't been involved in any type of activity since probably the beginning of the year.

It's almost like the Anthony Wiener situation.  You move forward and say what it is, then there's an old text that comes.  Like, am I going to have to keep answering to this?

Last night's "R&B Divas LA" Reunion special was filled with shockers, including Michel'le's revelation that Dr. Dre broke her nose, beat her several times, Chante's past abusive relationship, and Kelly Price's announcement that there will be an "R&B Divas" tour!  Deets inside.....

Part two of the "R&B Divas LA" reunion was FULL of shockers.  The most explosive came from "Something In My Heart" singer Miche'le who spilled the tea on Dr. Dre and his abusive ways.  During a discussion about plastic surgery, host Wendy Williams asked Michel'le if she'd had a nose job and Michel'le revealed that it was because her ex BROKE it.

Michel'le: "One of my boyfriends hit me and [made it] crooked it until I had to straighten it and change it and it cost a lot of money" Michel'le explained.

WW: "One of your babies' fathers? You're speaking of, that broke your nose?"

M: "Absolutely...and I stayed [in the relationship]"

She went on to say she had to "figure out" that domestic violence isn't an expression of love because her father never told her he loved her.  

M:"Getting beat was love to me. When I got with Suge- believe it or not--he didn't really beat me. I asked him 'why aren't you beating me? Don't you love me?"

WW: By saying Suge didn't beat you, the finger is pointing at you Dr. Dre.

Wendy later joked, "Beats By Dre".

After confirming Dre was the culprit, Michel'le talked about having to cover up her black eyes when going to performances.

When the talk moved to the "monologues", Kelly Price revealed that she was molested by an 18-year-old cousin when she was 3-years-old. Her revelation caused Lil’ Mo to cry and reveal that she was also molested as a child--in the church--along with her youngest sister.

Also, Kelly Price announced an R&B Divas tour featuring herself, Faith Evans, Dawn Robinson, Brownstone, KeKe Wyatt and Chante Moore.

People are trying to make a television show. If there was a danger of anything happening to Chante Moore being in the same intimate space with me, we would not be going on the road together. And Miss Moore did agree to come on this tour.”

Though she didn't make a big stink on tv, Chante Moore later used social media to reveal that she had not been "booked" for the tour because there was no signed paperwork. However, she's not opposed to hitting the road with the ladies.  Chante also reveaed SHE was a victim of domestic violence.  She had a nose job after an ex (not Kenny or Kadeem) broke it by hitting her.

Also, a few jabs were thrown at Dawn Robinson as Lil' Mo quipped that Dawn needed the show more than anyone one else.  She also said Dawn's car broke down at Kelly Price's birthday party and she needed folks to help her put water in it.  Gagging.....

Two of our favorite and most controversial rappers had a few things to say to corporate America and lame rappers who need to step their game up.  Watch Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar pop off on camera inside.....

Last night, Pusha T held a listening party for his upcoming album, My Name is My Name (October 8th) in Brooklyn, and the Goose was FLOWING, clearly.

At some point, Kanye West (who dissed Ray J earlier this week)  got on the microphone and went on one of his infamous rants where he went off on the evilness of corporations, sellouts and designers who put numbers on the back of their shirts.  Interestingly, his fave design house Maison Martin Margiela has a whole line of Number shirts.

He added, "We make good music, we make good music. We don’t give a F*CK about how much god damn money you make, we make good music!"

Kendrick Lamar, who'll be hitting the road with Kanye on "The Yeezus Tour", had a message for the slew of rappers who tried to come for him with response/diss records behind his"Control" verse.  His bottom line, "They Gotta Try Harder."

During NYFW 2013, TheYBF.com spoke to designer LaQuan Smith about his Dark Summer Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Line. Find out more about LaQuan and his collection, which brought out Karrueche Tran and Bridget Kelly, inside.

Designer LaQuan Smith, who's become a red carpet favorite of Lil' Kim, Cassie and Selita Ebanks, debuted his Dark Summer Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Line Tuesday during NYFW.

LaQuan (shown atop with Karreuche Tran) displayed the collection, which was inspired by a "rebirth of life" and "new beginnings", at The Upper Crist in NYC's fashionable West Village neighborhood.  He told us, “Inspiration was high end luxury sportswear - doing things that were on a modern take, doing things that were sexy, but cool."

Standouts from the collection include his collaboration with the shoe designer Mosaique on a special line of footwear named "Mosaique for LaQuan Smith", both alligator and crocodile details on jackets and sweatpants, embossed leathers, denim dresses and his signature scubas.

LaQuan turned the presentation into a "model museum" as his 24-models mixed and mingled with the audience to the sounds of DJ Tyger Lilly.  

Posing above with one of his models (above), he added, "I’m a sexy guy. I love to be comfortable in my own sexuality and I feel like every woman, every man should be that. Should feel that way and I feel that you definitely get that wearing LaQuan Smith.”

Singer Bridget Kelly, who's been photographed in numerous LaQuan Smith looks, was on hand to support him at the show.  

She posed with Kimberly V, her stylist and co-star of BRAVO's “Newlyweds: The First Year”.

We asked LaQuan how someone could might mimic his style:

"To mimic my style is to just do things in stuff you feel comfortable in. I think it's like giving you something that is high end luxury but then throwing a downtown spin on it. That’s what I’m all about this season. Giving you a sweatpant with a crocodile bra or you know, doing something really cool. A cool pencil dress but then it's completely backless in the back. There’s a lot of different ways.  If you can’t afford a $1700 dress you can cut your dress up out of an H&M dress. Just be creative and feel free to be who you are. That’s what I believe in. “

When asked who he turned to for inspiration, he said, 

“Everyday women. The streets of New York. I love to party. I love music. I love pop cultured music. I love traveling. Traveling is what gave me the most inspiration because I wanna be comfortable when I travel but I still wanna look fly also. So I built a lot of my inspiration from travel.”

Last night, Nas appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show" where Arsenio explained how Nas inspired his return to television.  Watch Nas perform "You Wouldn't Understand" inside and see on the set photos from "Tiny Tonight" featuring their newest addition, Tami Roman.

Cutie Nas appeared on "The Arsenio Hall Show" last night where he Arsenio revealed that a Nas lyric inspired his return to television.  Following the revelation, Nas (who turns 40-years-old on Saturday) went out to perform "You Wouldn't Understand" featuring Victoria Monet from his Life Is Good disc.  He told the crowd, 

“Arsenio Hall is the official king of late night television. I’ve been watching you since I was a young boy and you have the best show in the world, so this is a big deal to me. I’m honored to be here.”

In other television news....

Now that Tamar Braxton has signed onto "The Real", "BBW" star Tami Roman has been added to the cast of "Tiny Tonight" which also stars Tiny,  Trina and others.The ladies taped a few episodes for VH1 recently and posted pics from the set on their Instagram accounts.  

Tami (who's taking Tamar Braxton's place) tweeted, "Great day, fun times, Tiny Tonight". 

Tiny said, "On set of Tiny Tonight with this ragedy door bout to have some fun tho!! Gonna be a good show..I feel it!!"

Trina said, "First day of filming #TinyTonightShow I'm so excited!!!"
