We all know Rihanna plays no games when she pops back at folks who come for her.  And today was no different after Rih Rih read what controversial British writer Liz Jones had to say about the strip club & gun loving pop star being a toxic role model.

Daily Mail writer Liz Jones, who is also a former editor at Marie Claire magazine, wrote a scathing article about Rihanna's bad girl ways being irresponsible and toxic to her teeny bopper fans.  And even if she may have had a few good points, the way she said them didn't do anything but make Rihanna riled up and ready to snatch some wiggery.

The writer takes issue, based on her article, with Rihanna parading her relationship with Chris Brown post-domestic violence, Rihanna's very sexualized pics of herself she posts on her social networks, her bad girl partying ways and more.

At one point in Liz's article yesterday (which you can read in full HERE), she said:

I wish she’d stop infecting our High Streets with her gun tattoos, her false nails and fake hair, her bogus bad-ass shenanigans that try to portray her as ‘real’, as ‘street’, as her own person, as strong and single-minded.

Cue up the royal dragging from Rih Rih.  In between her Diamonds world tour stops, she posted homegirl's pic on her Instagram with THIS response:

We've always thought he was a major cutie...and majorly talented in the acting arena.  And now, he's breaking changing it up and heading into the music space.  Actor Tristan Wilds is releasing a new album under a new name to match his new 'New Jack Swing' image.  

Meet "Mack" Wilds inside...

Last night, TheYBF.com joined a select group of New York tastemakers who were treated to the new music styling of actor Tristan Wilds.  But something was a little different.  Actually....everything was different.  From the bandana to the tattoos to the gold jewelry, Tristan, who rose to fame on "90210" and in Red Tails, entered the room as "Mack", a sexy New Jack Swing-inspired crooner.  And he's giving us a new fresh face on the music scene.

He's even got folks like Method Man, Ne-Yo and Rico Love supporting the switch up.

We chatted exclusively with Mack (we gotta go with the new music name now) during his recent listening party at the NY hotspot Stash.  And he opened up about the name change, how his music has evolved and making the transition from acting to singing. 

TheYBF: Why was it important to you to reveal under a different name and it be a surprise?

Mack: Mack isn't a different name I've been called Mack since I was a baby. Google "Mack wells" and my name will come up. Mack has always been me, it's my family's name for me

Tell what inspired the album.

Mack: This album is about summertime and love in summertime, girls I've had and lost. Everything I wrote is real and a lot of girls will be hurt by this.

What was the biggest transition from acting to singing?

Mack: The biggest transition would have to be timing. Finding time to dedicate to both parts, to both sides. The acting and the music, other than that everything is pretty easy. I've been wanting to do this since I was a kid and you know every time I get in the studio with Salaam it's magic.

We see you have Method Man on this album and Ne-Yo wrote some songs.  Who would an ideal feature be for your next album?

Mack: Anybody who was willing to sit in the studio together and make things happen...like Kanye. There's a bunch of people I would like to see.

Are there any diss tracks on this record?

Mack: No diss records, just real talk.

Is singing the best way for you to express how you feel?

Mack: Yes, yes and writing...the music, making a creation of it and seeing it come alive right before your very eyes. I think that's the biggest buzz for me. Being able to create something that people can relate to later on in life

How much of the album did you write yourself?

Mack: The majority of it, yeah.

It's family time for the Roc!  Jay-Z& his new Roc Nation Sports signee, New York Yankees' Robinson Cano, hosted a "Super Heroes" Fundraiser and Domino Tournament last night to support Robsinson's RC24 Foundation.  And we've got the folks who came out to support.

Jay chilled out in some white jeans inside.

As far as lawsuits go, Chris Brown got some good news...and some bad news.  Find out what's going on with his legal situations inside...

In a previous story, we told you about Deanna Gines, the young woman who claimed Chris shoved her to the ground at Heat Ultra Lounge, tearing the ligaments in her right knee (according to her police report). Following the "alleged" assault, Deanna went as far as posting pics of her injuries (crutches and all). 

But now, things are looking VERY suspicious on Deanna's part. TMZ has obtained footage of Deanna in the parking lot following the "alleged" assault and she's seen putting pressure on her right leg, and limping on her left. Wait.....shouldn't it have been the OTHER way around?  And for whatever reason, she had a cast on her left leg. 

When confronted about the "switch" she told TMZ that she hurt her entire lower body and at the time, her left leg hurt MORE than her right. SMH....we call B.S. on that one!  If you're going to fake the funk....at least be consistent!

Also...sources from the club did AGREE the Deanna hurt herself that night. But they say it was her own fault!  Eyewitness said she stumbled out of the club -- drunk -- and took a fall on her way out. The owner says Chris never touched her.

And now for the bad news.......

You'll recall that Chris and Karreuche Tran were involved in a fender bender in May.  Now, according to the website above, the L.A. City Attorney is filing two criminal charges against Chris for hit-and-run:  Leaving the scene without exchanging proper information AND driving without a valid license. If convicted, the crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense. Also, a judge "could" say he violated his parole with the "hit-and-run" and sentence him to 4 years!

Chris defended himself of Twitter, saying he took pics at the scene of the accident...AND he has a valid license.  And we can say there are indeed pics of him speaking to the other driver.  Chris made his Twitter header pic the woman's license plate.  And then went on this rant:

@tmz is the devil.. Just yesterday you guys were accusing me of assaulting someone( which was false) and now today it's some more bs.

He also said:

For now, the case has been sent to the D.A's office and Chris and his legal team can only bite their nails and hope this one goes away quietly. Don't forget, there's still the case of the "mysterious" community service hours that he'll need to handle this summer as well.

With all this drama we really want to say just let this man live.  But we'll see what the end results are in this hit & run case...

Stacey Dash is trolling Twitter for attention again, and this time she's showing Paula Deen some love!  See her tweet inside and see why Kenya Moore blames her eviction on her landlord's divorce.  

A few months ago, Stacey Dash enraged followers and became a trending topic when she threw her hat in the ringfor Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney.  Now, we suspect Stacey wants another dose of attention as she's now showing disgraced Food Network host Paula Deen some love on Twitter!  Amidst Paula's used the "N-word" and other racial slurs, Stacey came to her rescue saying....

Hmmm.....we wonder if Stacey heard the little story about the "cute" plantation wedding?  And if so, how far will she go to get a few Twitter hits.  It seem like she's always cheerleading for the opposition.

And in legal dramas.....

We've told you about Kenya Moore's eviction from her Atlanta McMansion and now the "RHOA" is fighting to clear her name.  A source close to the situation released a statement on Kenya's behalf that placed the blame for the eviction on the landlord and her current divorce battle.  The statement read....

The eviction lawsuit has nothing to do with Kenya at all. Kenya has found herself renting from a divorced couple who are in the middle of a bitter battle over support payments. Basically, the wife/landlord wants Kenya to move out of the house immediately because, as you can see from the attached document, she has a court date coming up with her ex-husband where she will be asking for additional support for their daughter and other financial relief.

However, the husband is contending that his ex is making a lot of money by having Kenya as a tenant and he does not want to pay her any additional support. The wife wants Kenya out before her court date so she can say she is no longer receiving the big rent checks.

Also, Kenya and her lawyer, Marcia Fuller, claim they never received notification of last week's court date and argue that Kenya paid her $3,999 monthly rent in full through June!  So clearly....this ish ain't over since Marcia attended a hearing on June 20 to set a new court date for early July.

Now.....we have the court documents of the landlord (Conya Dillon) and her petition for modification of child support!  And from the looks of the papertrail, it seems that Kenya's explanation makes sense.  We'll keep you posted on how this turns out.....

It was a great week for music industry sales as Kanye West headed to the top of the pack (as expected) followed by strong showings from J. Cole and Kelly Rowland. See the chart listing inside and watch an all-new promo of the daytime chat fest "The Real"....

It was a good week for Hip Hop and R&B music as the top four sales slots were all claimed by your faves.  As expected, Kanye West came in strong with Yeezus, finishing at #1 week with 328k in sales. But the sleeper hit of the summer was J. Cole who far surpassed expectations for Born Sinner and moved 297,000 units. Rounding out the top slots, indie rapper Mac Miller took the #3 spot with 101K while Kelly Rowland's promotional tour landed her Talk a Good Game at #4 with 65k.  Not sue why Kel didn't push more than 65K, but oh wells.

Details have been revealed about Nene Leakes' $1.8 Million nuptials and we've got the first pics from the ceremony inside.  Find out what the "very rich" reality star told Life & Style about her Old Hollywood-themed ceremony inside....

Well look at NeNe looking gawgeus at her wedding!

Over the weekend, "RHOA" star Nene Leakes re-married her ex-husband Gregg Leakes in an Old Hollywood-themed wedding at the Intercontinental Buckhead Atlanta Hotel.

Held in front of 400 guests, who included Nene's current and former Bravolebrities Patti Stanger, Apollo Nida, Phaedra Parks, Jill & Robert Zarin, Cynthia Bailey& Peter Thomas, the nuptials, which cost a reported $1.8 Million dollars, were filmed for Nene's wedding spin-off called "I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding" (airing this fall on Bravo).

The bride wore a $50,000 Baracci dress for the wedding, before slipping in a $20,000 Pnina Tornai dress for the reception.  She was flanked by nine bridesmaids dressed in white Gabriella Arango gowns.

Gushing about the extravagant ceremony to Life & Style, she said “I feel amazing. Both of us want this, so it will definitely work this time. I know exactly what I’m getting myself into.”

Nene, who coordinated the wedding with event planner Tony Conway, added,

“I came up with the idea of having an Old Hollywood theme because I thought it would be completely fabulous and everyone would be able to have fun with it."

At the reception, guests sat at tables adorned by three-foot floral centerpieces and feasted on comfort foods like homemade biscuits, mac ’n’ cheese, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken. Following the meal, attendees dined on a custom 10-tier cake filled with vanilla cream.

When asked about the most memorable moments from the wedding, Nene talked about being walked down the aisle by her sons Brentt Leakes and Bryson Bryant. "That was so emotional for me,” Also, “And Gregg telling me I was beautiful — that was really special. I had a lot of teary moments.

Mariah is good for teaming up with the hot up and comers...smart move int he music industry.  And even though we doubt she even knew who A$AP Rocky was before this, she and Miguel let him lay a verse down on their "#Beautiful" remix.

The sexy "Dive In" singer was on hand at 583 Park Avenue to receive his Recording Academy Honors for his significant work in the biz so far.  And the Moschino suit and Versace everything else cutie his date was none other than his fab mom, April.

Trigga performed with Ne-Yo and accepted his award in front the crowd.

Trey's long time manager Kevin Liles, rocking Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit, a Tom Ford shirt & Tie and Saint Laurent shoes, was there to offer up some words for his client and friend.  And Trey tweeted afterwards:

Also Tuesday night, a few YBFers headed out to the Smile Auction presented by Smile Design Gallery, Moet & Chandon Champagne, Paddle 8, Grady Spivey III, Provocateur and HotMop Films. The private auction was held at the seductive Provocateur in NYC.  And it was all about helping Dr. Lee Gause raise over $100,000 for the children of Camden, New Jersey.

Lingerie and nice teeth....they do kinda go hand in hand.

Exes Mashonda (in a cute Helmut Lang look) and Swizz Beatz played nice and hit up the same charitable event.  Some of Swizzy's artwork (which sold for $25,000!) was included in the auction which raised money to provide dental work for the entire Urban Promise school.  And Basquiat by Darius Quarles was ALSO sold for $25,000.

Mashonda's bestie Emily B. was there and looked cute in her coral shorts at the celebrity dentist's event.  Fab times for a great cause!

As the ladies of "exhale" get ready to launch their weekly intimate talk show about love, life, celeb guests & everything in between, Malinda Williams and more celebs turned up for the big premiere Wednesday night in Atlanta. With her celeb friends in tow like LaTavia Roberson, Malinda Williams hit up the "exhale" launch event at Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta Wednesday night.  She's part of the cast of 5 women--including Issa Rae, Angela Burt-Murray, Erin Jackson, Rene Syler and Malinda Williams--who will be featured weekly starting tomorrow in an eight episode series on ASPiRE.

So the ladies partied it up Wednesday night to celebrate.

37-year-old Malinda is looking gorgeous these days.

LaTavia was there to show off her growing baby bump.  How cute!

702's Meelah was there flaunting her curves in a black & white striped dress.

Soul Food movie star Malinda kicked it with her "Soul Food" tv series counterpart and good friend Terri Vaughn.

Now that she's shot down pregnancy rumors, "RHOA" star Cynthia Bailey is opening up about her ongoing medical condition and what she'll be sharing with "RHOA" viewers in the future.  Get the deets inside....

While serving as one of Nene Leakes fabulous bridesmaids (in a $20,000 Pnina Tornai dress), many fans commented on Cynthia Bailey's recent change in appearance, leaving some to speculate that she might be pregnant.   But in addition to shooting down rumors on Twitter, she did a recent interview with Radar Online saying, "I am not pregnant. Hallelujah. I’m not pregnant!”.   

The Carry-On Baggage: Our Nonstop Flight author went on to reveal more about her mystery medical condition (which she can't completely reveal until it airs) what "RHOA" fans will learn about it in the future.  Here are the highlights:

On her recent weight gain:

“I can say a whole lot about it …But I am dealing with a medical situation. I will be having a surgery and rectifying the [situation]. That will play out on the show.” 

On why she's revealing her medical situation to viewers:

As part of the journey I am going through with that, I decided I did wanted to share it with the world because I felt like there is a lot of education in this process that I am going to be going through. I decided to take you guys on this journey with me because I really didn’t know a lot about it. And then once you find out something, people aren’t always diligent about getting to the doctor and really figuring out what I need to do or just being overall healthy people in general.”

On how the medical situation changed her life:

It has really just changed my life and how I look at my health. I’m in my forties. I really have to take care of myself. I have to make sure I make those yearly visits to the doctor and just get checked out. I’m so busy that time just goes and I’m like, ‘Oh my god. I haven’t gone.’ But it’s super important.

The more information I got about it once I did go to the doctor and really saw the rewards, how good I was going to feel from dealing with it, and how many women actually deal with this condition, I felt it just would be powerful to relay that information out there. Over three or four million people watch our show. And even they love the drama, but I think it’s great when they can actually get some education out of it as well.”

We're not sure what we will be learning about Cynthia Bailey and her medical mystery, but we wish her the best and we'll be watching.....

You've heard a snippet of the song a million times on Mrs. Carter's hot H&M commercial.  And now, the sultry diva (or someone who leaked it) has given us the full version of the song we've been hearing for months now.

The Sia-penned song gives us a sexy summer "Baby Boy" vibe.

The song does not yet appear on iTunes and Beyonce herself has not mentioned it via a handwritten note or huge poster size announcement on her website.  So it looks like it was a leak that wasn't necessarily supposed to drop just yet.  But with just one day until her BET Experience debut in L.A., it's only right we get a lil something something to whet our whistles for this kick off of the North American leg of the Mrs. Carter Show world tour.

UPDATE: When Beyonce performs the song in concert, there is a rap breakdown in the middle.  Seeing that Beyonce, like many performers, often change their songs around for live performances, there is no word yet if the rap breakdown is part of the official HQ version.

It's a battle of the super producers!  will.i.am, who reportedly has ownership over his "I Am" phrase, filed legal papers on fellow producer Pharrell for using "I Am OTHER" creative brand.  Check out why will is trying to shut down P inside...

In court documents recently filed, will.i.am is laying claim to the "I Am" phrase saying he owns the copyright.  So when he learned that Pharrell developed the "I Am OTHER" brand, and made a logo that will claims is similar to his own, the Black Eyed Peas member filed a lawsuit against Pharrell to make him stop using the phrase.

Rolling Stone got their hands on the court docs where will says Pharrell's logo, which he will be using for clothing and merchandise, bears a striking resemblance to his "I Am" logo.  And he believes consumers would be confused.

Not sure why will didn't just hit P on the hip....since we thought they were friends and all...and apparently Pharrell is confused by it all as well.

After filing a response denying all claims, Pharrell told RS in a statement:

"I am disappointed that Will, a fellow artist, would file a case against me.  I am someone who likes to talk things out and, in fact, I attempted to do just that on many occasions. I am surprised in how this is being handled and I am confident that Will's trademark claims will ultimately be found to be as meritless and ridiculous as I do."

will hasn't commented so far.  But we're pretty sure the two won't be partying it up together anytime soon...

A while ago, we told you about pop star Rihanna bringing her UK-reality show, "Styled To Rock" to the US on the STYLE Network, and now she's released a promo for the upcoming series.

Riri's already nailed down hip hop producer and Billionaire Boys club founder Pharrell as one of her judges for the show which is expected to hit the airwaves this fall. 

In the meantime, "Navy" fans can wear River Island fashions and rock makeup from Riri's MAC collection until the show gets an airdate.

She's on FORBES' list of the most powerful celebs of 2013 or a reason...

There's a new reality show headed to the small screen and it stars a group of handsome men in LA who drive Bentleys, wear expensive clothes and jewelry, live in fancy homes, have tons of women (wives, girlfriends and baby mommas) AND some gang affiliation.  It could be the perfect brew for an urban reality show about athletes or rappers, but.....it's about men of the cloth.  

Though previous reality tv series devoted to "the church" failed to connect with audiences (remember The Sisterhood?), the supertrailer for "Preachers of L.A." looks like it has the right amount of foolywangery  to connect with folks at the watercooler.  

According to the press release, 

"Preachers of L.A." will give viewers a candid and revealing look at six boldly different and world renowned mega-pastors in Southern California, who are willing to share diverse aspects of their lives, from their work in the community and with their parishioners to the very large and sometimes provocative lives they lead away from the pulpit."

And from the looks of it...the lives they lead aren't too different from the ish we see on "Basketball Wives" and "Love & Hip Hop". 

Here are the cast bios:

Bishop Noel Jones (@BishopNoelJones)

A Jamaican born into poverty, Bishop Noel Jones has made his way to the other extreme, now living on a hilltop with a view of the Pacific Ocean, Malibu at his feet, and across the street from the former home of the late L.A. Lakers owner, Jerry Buss. The pastor of a church full of celebrities, and the brother of Grace Jones, Bishop Jones is headed towards retirement and looking for a successor who he can entrust his life’s work. But finding the right man is harder than it sound.

Deitrick Haddon

Pastor Wayne Chaney

Bishop Ron Gibson

One of the pioneering greats of competitive skateboarding, Pastor Jay Haizlip, originally from Gadsden, Alabama, collected big trophies, bigger paychecks and high-end sponsors, but fell deep into drugs, and into the crack houses of Huntington Beach and Long Beach, California. Back in the crack houses again, this time he’s not there for drugs – he’s helping rescue souls for the Kingdom. Serving as Senior Pastor of The Sanctuary of Huntington Beach, Pastor Jay Haizlip reaches out to troubled youth, finding them in prisons, skate parks and the same crack houses he once shot dope in.

It's worth mentioning that some sources saidLisaRaye would be appearing as Bishop Noel Jones love interest.  However, we didn't see her in the trailer.  In fact, Noel was dating "another" woman.  Perhaps they're saving LisaRaye for a big reveal?

Gilbert Arenas is up to his foolish activities again.  Check out his arrest inside thanks to way too many fireworks...

The former Washington Wizard just copped a misdemeanor felony charge after getting caught with 100 pounds of fireworks. 

While he was riding down the highway in Cali around 2:30AM this morning, cops pulled Gilbert and his Ford truck over for speeding.  And thanks to all the fireworks being uncovered in the bed and cab of the truck, cops saw it all in plain sight.  He was immediately booked for possession of illegal fireworks, speeding, and driving without a license.

TMZ reports the cops even had to call the BOMB SQUAD because there were so many fireworks.

He's since been released without having to pay bail, but he's got to return home to his fiancee Laura Govan and their kids with no fireworks for the 4th of July.  Womps.  But seeing that Gil was popped for gun possession when he foolishly whipped out a loaded gun in the locker room back in 2010, his fam may not even be surprised by this.

Whatever happened to a few blackjacks and sparklers?

Eve is still making a few promo rounds for her new album Lip Lock.  And last night, she stopped by "Chelsea Lately" to dish with Chelsea about babies and her boo.  Check out a few clips inside, plus Chris Bosh addressing all those viral photobomb pics of him with...."those" looks he gives folks....

After ten years, Eve finally released a new album, and she's still out promoting it.  She stopped by "Chelsea Lately" to dish on why it took her so long and she spoke about her UK boyfriend.  Oh yeah, and once again she's letting us know she's more than ready to have some babies. "It's baby poppin' time."

And Chris Bosh and Adrienne (y'all know she's front and center with her husband everywhere)...

The twosome hit up both "Conan" and "Piers Morgan" this week to talk about the Heat's championship win.  And those hilarious looks he constantly gives.

By the way, Adrienne says she's almost 5 months pregnant.  And she stayed this small with her first son Jackson until about 5 and a half months.

New mommy Tamar Braxton was spotted on the set of "The Real" with her fabulous co-hosts as they rehearsed for their upcoming national debut.  See the ladies bonding inside and see new pics of Tamera Mowry-Housley with her husband and son....

Although it's only been a few weeks since Tamar Braxton gave birth to son Logan Vincent Herbert, the new mommy is already back to work.  She showed off her post-baby body while on the set with her co-hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon,& Jeannie Mai.

The ladies are in LA prepping for the national debut of the newest & most diverse daily panel talk "The Real" which starts its test run on July 15 in LA, NY, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Houston and Tampa.

And the female bonding seems to be going very well as Jeannie Mai tweeted,

Tamar's fellow co-host Tamera Mowry Housley posted pics of her family on a getaway to Yountville last weekend....the same place she and Adam got married.

"Last weekend, Adam and I took a weekend trip to Yountville. We love this place – it’s where we got married and there’s nowhere else where I feel more at peace. This trip though, we had a brand new addition to the family – Aden! I can’t believe how fast time has gone by. I can remember visualizing bringing my son or daughter to this very spot on the day Adam and I got married. And now taking Aden to his second home just takes it to a whole other level. When we visited the spot, I just had to take a picture!"

During the trip, Aden top his first dip in the pool his dad.  "It was such a surreal feeling. All I can say is that every day I fall more and more in love with my baby boy. I love being a mommy!! And it doesn’t hurt that I’ve got an amazing hubby to help me along the way :)"

And don't worry about Aden getting any sunburn. Tamera took care of that, "Soaking up the sunshine and lovin’ life…made sure he had SPF on first!" 

This baby is absolutely ADORBS.

Mel B. took some time away from judging "America's Got Talent" to whisk her super cute kiddies away to Disneyland.  Check out the gals rocking their mouse ears and having some fun inside....

How precious!  Melanie Brown took her youngest baby girl Madison Brown Belafonte and her second youngest Angel Iris to Anaheim, CA for a day trip to Disneyland.

The ladies and a family friend were spotted trekking it around the park in their mouse ears.  How adorable is that little Madison?!

Mel kept it cute and casual in mommy mode with her camo pants and sneaker wedges.

And Angel Iris is growing up so fast!  Cuteness all around.
