The "TLC Biopic" is about to start filming....and the cast has just been announced.  Check out who's playing the roles of the girl group who brought us color, controversy and great music inside....

T-Boz, Chilli and Left Eye will be getting a VH1 movie made about their lives and group's rise to fame.

It was reported recently that rapper Lil Mama will be taking on the role of Left Eye in the upcoming TLC Biopic that will air on VH1.  And that decision was met with controversy and petitions to stop the "Lipgloss" rapper from officially nabbing the role.  But oh wells, she's in it.

And today, it was just announced that KeKe Palmer, former Nickelodeon star in "True Jackson VP" and Lifetime's "The Carlina White Story," will be joining the cast in the role of Chilli. 

Apparently people are already complaining, saying she looks nothing like Chilli.  KeKe responded on her Twitter today saying:

People kill me, I don't remember Angela Bassett looking ANYTHING like Tina Turner. And she RIPPED that role...People need to realize that movies aren't casted by people looking like who they're playing. They're casted by who can do the role.

KeKe has also been working on her singing career lately, dropping a mixtape this past October, her debut studio back in 2007, and doing a few songs for the shows she's appeared in.  And the 19-year-old says she's been a fan of TLC since she was a little girl.  She said about growing up loving the group:

"I would sing No Scrubs over and over again to the point my parents would have to tell me to stop, but I never did, I had my little hairbrush as my mic and nobody could tell me I wasn't the fourth member of TLC."

And she's indeed aware that fans will drag this movie through the mud if it's not made right.  The Akilah & The Bee actress said in her press release:

"I am a true fan. I love these ladies and I always want to be proud of my work in any role that I do".

The upcoming VH1 TLC biopic to be filmed in Atlanta, GA next month. And we hear that singer/"The Game" actress Drew Sidora has filled the role of T-Boz.

Alicia Keys threw on her brand new Reebok Classics AKW's (coming soon) and her cube crop top and leather pants both from Herve Leger's runway to rock the NBA All-Star halftime show.  The fab chick decided to throw in some dance moves in addition to her piano playing.  But decide if she pulled it off inside..

Alicia went through a medley of her songs like "Empire State of Mind" (most people seemed a bit baffled by this song choice) and "A New Day" while giving u a 2013 All-Star halftime show in Houston.

She threw in some choreography while showing off her midriff.  As for the vocals tonight...somebody def should have passed a cup-o-tea-and-honey over to her mid-performance.  And we'll leave it at that.  Peep the video below:

By the way, Alicia will be on "The Wendy Show" tomorrow (pre-taped) dishing with the talk show maven and busting out another performance.

It was a night of NBA performances as Ne-Yo took the stage during the NBA All-Star game intros, before Alicia hit the stage for the halftime show, and John Legend belted out the National Anthem.

Ne-Yo did 3 separate performances during the introductions of the East & West Sunday night at the NBA All-Star game.  He hit the stage with "Let's Go" and "Let Me Love You" with his dancers.  And apparently, not everyone was feeling it.

Tons of celebs rolled to Houston this weekend for all the 2013 NBA All-Star festivities.  And last night, they all kicked it courtside as The East & The West battled it out.  Peep the pics inside....

Beyonce & Jay-Z cuddled up courtside at the Toyota Center as they watched MVP Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant & The West take home the All-Star trophy.  And it was all fun and games for the ballers and for the crowd.

Bey kept it cute and fresh faced in her Stella McCartney blazer and yellow pumps back in her hometown.

And copped some candy from Alicia & Swizzy's baby boy Egypt after consoling congratulating Alicia after her halftime performance.

Jay and Swizz Beatz laughed it up with LeBron during the game.

Rocsi stopped by Bey's section to do a mini interview for "ET."

And Drake played waiter and brought drinks over to Bey, Jay and cousin Angie.  How sweet of him....

Speaking of Drizzy, he was spotted taking in the game next to J.Cole.

And Jay, Nas, and Diddy, who brought son Christian along, all had some courtside fun.  Sure those convos were interesting....

Kevin Hart was hilarious chillin' with the NBA TNT commentators Shaq, Charles Barkley and more during halftime.  Then he gave Chris Paul's son Jr. a boost...which we're sure was a drastic difference in height for the kid.

Verbal shots were fired in Houston last night after Lil' Wayne slammed the Miami Heat organization and said he was ready to take it to the streets with Lebron and Dwyane.  Oh....and he claims he had sex with Chris Bosh's wife!  Watch the shocking video inside....

Lil' Wayne was wilin' out in Houston, Texas last night as he hit the stage at Stereo Live for the official YMCMB concert and NBA All-Star after party (with Drake and Birdman).  With a rant that can't be mistaken for anything except a "threat" we (and tons of party goers) found out that Weezy is still pissed about being ejected from a Miami Heat game over a week ago.  Apparently, the Heat went a step further and had him banned from all NBA events.

A little refresher....

So last night, he hit the stage and SLAMMED the entire Miami Heat organization and told the crowd that this "wasn't a Twitter beef" he was ready to take it to the streets.  In a rant that was caught on video, and later described with a play-by-play on Twitter by XXL Magazine's Shaheem Reid, Weezy insults the Miami Heat's biggest stars and shocking concludes by "claiming" that he banged Chris Bosh's wife Adrienne.

Just in case you aren't clear about what you are about to watch...

That explains why the hardcore NBA fan wasn't at last night's game.

The Sunday Times newspaper over in the UK has deemed Rihanna as the next Princess Diana.  For a few reasons.  Check out their article inside, and speak on it....

Inside yesterday's edition of The Sunday Times, they did a feature on their next Princess Di.  And apparently, they believe the parallels between pop diva Rihanna and the people's Princess are spot on.

The publication 'shopped a pic of Rihanna and Princess Di's face together for the cover, and offered up why this comparison can be a good and a bad thing.

In an excerpt, they explain the love of paparazzi stemming from anguish:

Like Diana, Rihanna has worryingly drifted into using photo ops to send messages of allure, defiance, or revenge in a turbulent relationship with an errant partner.....Diana’s anguished helplessness and isolation inside the royal family, with its stoical code of duty, led her to gravitate toward the ever-hovering paparazzi, whose global power as a media institution increased exponentially because of her popularity…

And their similar beginnings:

TLC has pulled the plug on "Starter Wives Confidential" and now Monica Taylor (Funkmaster Flex's ex) is speaking out about the show's end.  Kinda.  Read it inside....

Fans who fell in love with "Starter Wives Confidential" will have to go online to watch the remaining episodes as TLC has taken it off air. If you're wondeirng why the show won't air on television anymore, Monica Taylor, the "ex" of Funkmaster Flex wrote an open letter on her website to fans which listed a number of possible factors (including lawsuits, ratings, and outside fights) that proved to undermine the show.

Looks like the exes of 50 Cent, Floyd Mayweather and Maino will need to find another stream of income.

Is it ratings? Is it a change in network direction…or all the outside drama?!

It’s no secret Starter Wives Confidential was plagued by legal inquiries and possible lawsuits from the beginning. Starting with Shanequa Tompkins being missing from all the episodes, her ex 50 cent allegedly had an agreement or contract with her of some sort that either prevented or made it difficult for her to partake in the show.

I know before taping even began I was questioned about my posts relating to anyone connected with Lamar Odom. Luckily TLC had no control over what I do or can post so it became a non-issue. I never did find out who was putting pressure on them. Cut to the Lil Kim situation, one which I’m still confused about and can’t even confirm if there is a law suit.

Bringing a show with women of color to TLC we always knew was a challenge and I love that they believed in our stories and gave us a voice. A voice, honesty, love, a lot of drama, and a bit of ratchetness. (Usually required for any good reality show.)
I can only imagine there were a lot of people who were afraid what would come out on Starter Wives Confidential and as you saw from the first few episodes, the ladies were NOT holding back! Trust me it gets better and much juicier. But I digress. (I always wanted to say that in a post.)

I want to say that from the very bottom of my soul the support and love from viewers was more amazing then I imagined. Even the haters felt our show was genuine. I love that personally I got to not only bond with 5 amazing women but was allowed to show that not all celebrity wives sit home, model, or are simpletons. For the first time people got to know who I really am, if even just a little bit.
So it SUCKS that you have to watchpp episodes online but it beeeez like that sometimes.

It's too bad that the show didn't really catch on with viewers as Monica's interview with the baby mommas of 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather proved that a bitter ex can provide a fountain of infomation about otherwise shielded celebrities.  It was a good concept....just poorly executed.

Last year, an investigation was done by our homie Robert Littal of Black Sports Online about Lakers center/forward Dwight Howard and his many alleged babies and babies' mamas.  Yes, way more than just former "Basketball Wives" star Royce Reed.  And now, more proof may have surfaced to prove this cutie 2-year-old girl is his.

Well what do we have here?  The bible thumping, devout Christian with a wholesome "I believe in loyalty" image (so he tries to make us to believe) Dwight Howard has fathered this cutie patootie pictured above named Jayde?

Here's the deal: Last March, BSO reported that goody goody Dwight actually has up to five children by five different mothers, most are a secret. Two have been confirmed--Royce with son Braylon and now, Hope Alexa with daughter Jayde.

Hope, who lives in L.A., describes herself on her Facebook page as a Bikini competitor, Personal Trainer, and Fitness Model.  BSO reports that she had Jayde in December 2010. And when they reached out to her about this story, chick deleted her whole Twitter page minutes later (but it's back up now).  Sounds like she's hiding something.  But nothing stays hidden for long.

This brings us to the picture above that Hope posted to Instagram yesterday.  Peep that framed picture in the background.  If we didn't know any better--and we are pretty good with our skills of being nosy--we'd think that was Dwight Howard in that photo....chillin' with Jayde as a newborn.  BSO previously confirmed--with a pic--that Hope has pics of her & Dwight on her fridge from when they were "dating".

It's not out of the ordinary for a mother to keep a pic of her child's father around--in such a prominent place like the kitchen--so the child always knows what he looks like.  Especially since it seems Dwight, who just played in last night's NBA All-Star game, is keeping as much distance as possible from his responsibilities, like fathering his (alleged) kids.

As he sets his sights on late-night television, it was reported that Andre Leon Talley had severed ties with VOGUE magazine...but he's denying that! Find out more about his next move inside and get deets on Big Sean's new fashion line....

Now that famed VOGUE Magazine contributing editor Andre Leon Talley plans to branch into late night television, it was rumored that he might be forced out of one of the most prestigious jobs in the fashion industry.

It all started when ALT signed a production deal with production company Electus, which was brokered by Marc Beckman. Marc spoke about the signing saying, "We think a television platform is an ideal showcase for André’s personality to shine and bring together his amazing network of personal contacts, ranging from designers to musicians to politicians..."

That's all fine and good that ALT wants to expand HIS brand, but the folks over at Page Six reported that VOGUE and Conde Nast have no desire to watch ALT or any other editor on their mast head spread their wings.  One source said,  “The powers that be aren’t huge fans of his television aspirations, and they want to sever all ties now." 

But of course this could simply be speculation and rumor since no one from Conde Nast has gone on the record to confirm ALT has left the building. In fact, Andre's rep denied the rumors and told the NY Post, "Andre is absolutely maintaining his relationship as a contributor . . . [He] has a number of projects in the works with Vogue and Condé Nast, and maintains a warm relationship with both.”

Only time will tell how this will eventually play out....but do you think that ALT has what it takes to compete with comedians and late night hosts?

As fans wait for his anticipated sophomore album, Hall of Fame, rapper Big Sean just announced the official launch of Aura Gold, a fashion and lifestyle company.  And the first label underneath it is an ode to his debut album as it's called Finally Famous.

Featuring tees, sweatshirts and varsity jackets, Big Sean talked about the line saying, “Launching my own label is a dream come true for me. Even though I have a lot to learn about fashion and the industry, I do know what I like and the small details that make something stand out to me. I look forward to evolving the line with more colors, fabrications and offerings to show the other dimensions of my style progression over time.”

The launch coincides with an appearance in at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas for ProjectMVMNT this week to introduce Aura Gold’s fashion label "Finally Famous" and unveil the line’s Fall 2013 collection named The Black Collection.

The curvy Mrs. Keys-Beatz made her way to "The Wendy Show" and her interview and TV performance aired today.  Check out Alicia dishing on her marriage to Swizz Beatz and the life of her baby boy Egypt inside....

Alicia Keys did a pre-taped appearance on "The Wendy Show" this morning.  And it's too bad because we would have loved to hear a question about that All-Star halftime show from last night.

But Alicia and Wendy chopped it up about marriage, the ways Alicia is a real mom like everyone else, and and Egypt's love for the piano.

Alicia says she's pretty sure she wants more children at some point, and her favorite gift that she’s received from her husband, Swizz Beatz, is the tattoo he got of her face on his arm. Ouch!

When Wendy asked her--sneakily we may add--exactly how she and Swizz got together and how long they dated before marriage, Alicia avoided the question by talking about why she fell in love with her husband.  But she did reveal they first met way back when they were 16 and 17-years old.

As for baby Egypt, he's walking everywhere now and loves to play the piano with mommy.  Alicia revealed she indeed puts him in a car seat--with her driving the car--sometimes.  And yes, they make everyday stops like Home Depot and she brings her son to the studio all the time. And she even dished on how she, Swizzy and Egypt go over to The Carters' house in Tribeca for some QT. And Egypt got in trouble for giving baby Blue Ivy a kiss.   Sweet!

Mariah Carey latest single "Almost Home" from the forthcoming film Oz The Great and Powerful has been released. Listen to it inside....

Our fave snappy songstress Mariah Carey has just released her latest track “Almost Home.”  It's a generic mid-tempo ballad that's supposed to uplift....but it doesn't get good until nearly three minutes into the track when Mariah unleashes "the voice." 

The track was co-written by Mariah and Simone Porter, Justin Gray, and Lindsey Ray and produced by Stargate. Fashion photographer David LaChapelle has signed on to direct the video which will drop March 8....the same day the movie Oz The Great and Powerful hit theaters.  The new MC single leads the film's soundtrack.

Usher will make a surprise appearance for his mentor Clive Davis on today's upcoming taped episode of "Katie".  But it's what Clive reveals in his new memoir, which he's now on a media tour for, that has everybody's eyebrows raised.

Check out one of music's biggest head honchos, Clive, revealing his bisexuality...

Usher jetted into NYC early just to surprise the man who created the label where he got his start, Clive Davis.  The 80-year-old recording industry exec has written his new memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life, and has opened up about his incredible career of being the man behind artists like Alicia Keys, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and especially legends like Whitney Houston, Gil Scott Heron and Aretha Franklin.  He also helped Babyface and L.A. Reid create LaFace records and Diddy create Bad Boy.

So with such a prolific career, especially in R&B acts and Rock acts, we're sure there are some tales to be told.

USHER said about Clive during the show:

But-- he-- you know, just to kinda give you a, I guess, a testament of-- of the pay it forward. You know, without that artist development and that ability to understand how to-- present myself and have an understanding of style, I would not be in the position to be, you know, a coach on The Voice-- and-- and-- introduce talent like Justin Bieber and-- writers like Rico Love, who was...my actual first artist, who went on to be an incredible writer and also producer. But-- you know, without that artist development of Arista and LaFace Records, I wouldn't be the mentor that I am today.

In the memoir, Clive gives detail about Whitney Houston's denial of being drug addict and the interventions he says he attempted to stage.  He also used the last 5 pages of his book to make a big reveal--that he's bisexual and is currently in a relationship with another man.

USA Today reports:

Davis, who is twice divorced, remains close to his family, which includes three sons, a daughter and six grandchildren, and to friends, with whom he vacations regularly. Soundtrack's aforementioned personal revelation acknowledges "something that my children and close friends have always known, but that I knew I would need to discuss in a biography": He considers himself bisexual.

"After my second marriage failed, I met a man who was also grounded in music. Having only had loving relationships and sexual intimacy with women, I opened myself up to the possibility that I could have that with a male, and found that I could."

Davis is currently involved with another man (who isn't in show business), "but I never stopped being attracted to women. Bisexuality is misunderstood; the adage is that you're either straight or gay or lying, but that's not my experience. To call me anything other than bisexual would be inaccurate."

"LAHH ATL" star K. Michelle chopped it up with The Breakfast Club this morning where she spilled the deets on her split from New York Knick J.R. Smith, her upcoming album being all about him and what she thinks about Mimi Faust's new man. Get the deets inside....

Singer and fiesty reality star K. Michelle stopped by The Breakfast Club yesterday (and it aired this morning) where she talked about her upcoming album on Atlantic Records called Rebellious Soul.  The pretty gal revealed that the entire album is about her "relationship" with NY Knicks star J.R. Smith.  

"That whole album is about that boy [JR Smith]. When dudes use us for coochie, I use them for songs." Ha!

She added that she got her her heart broken in the end.  "Yeah, man he played me. I was in love. I was so open dude, I was ready to cook breakfast naked. I was ready to sit down. I was very sincere."

She says the last straw was when he posted some nasty comments about her on Twitter, trying to intentionally hurt her feelings. After that...she was done. However, she says he gave her enough material for three albums.  Damn!

K. revealed that she is dating someone new, but she won't speak about it publicly.  Though she is not in a committed relationship with him yet, she says she feels like she already shares enough of her personal life and wants to keep her love life private.  Another reason she is keeping it private is that she doesn't want to have a high body count (sexually speaking) in the industry.  Because we all know how that goes.

And she mentioned her friendship with Keyshia Cole saying that they talk on the phone a lot.  When asked about Keyshia dissing Michelle Williams, she said she knows that Keyshia is a nice person and was only throwing shots because she had felt like Michelle had dissed her earlier. (Does Michelle even know who Keyshia is?)

The reality star also confirmed that she's in the middle of taping the second season of "LAHH: ATL" and she's already cursed out most of her castmates.  No surprise there. 

Oh, and she revealed her thoughts on Mimi Faust's new man.  "Mimi has a new boyfriend, I think he’s downlow. That’s my opinion. Normal stuff I wouldn’t be in the middle of. I really just wanna be in the studio."  We weren't going to say anything, but since K. did.....

Meagan Good and Devon Franklin were spotted out and about in the LA area yesterday while Chrissy Teigen gushed about her wedding plans to John Legend.  Find out more inside....

Minister/Producer Devon Franklin was spotted walking through The Grove yesterday with his laid back yet always gorge wife Meagan Good.  

While Meagan is starring on NBC's "Deception," Devon has been traveling the country on the lecture circuit. Today, he tweeted about the talk he's doing at Princeton Theological Seminary.  

And in other couples news.....

Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen talked to New York Magazine about her upcoming nupitals to John Legend and revealed there are a few undecided factors.“I have four wedding dresses at this point and no location.” She added, “We’ve been together for almost seven years. We were going to get married in Tennessee at a beautiful farm, but we overhauled it. I can’t ever make up my mind.”

And John is no help in that department. “He doesn’t care,” she said. “The worst part is he won’t look at my dresses and tell me if he likes them. He refuses to see them, but I want to know what shape he wants. I might come out in the most ridiculous thing ever, and he’s going to be like ‘Oy, what have I done?’”

We would surely hope he won't look at the dresses.

By the way, several of Chrissy's wedding dresses are by Vera Wang so it seems that she has a favorite designer.

Keri Hilson recently posted a few peeks into her weekend Cabo vacay with boyfriend Serge Ibaka of the OKC Thunder.  She rocked a multi-colored striped bikini as she posed up against a wall of bamboo at their beach front pool casita suite at the One & Only Pamilla Resort.  And she wasn't shy about showing off her bronzed & toned bikini bod. 

She tweeted, "wish u were here oh wait..." 

The twosome posted a pic of their romantic dinner.

And the sexiness that is Serge jetted to Mexico, after missing his first flight, as soon as he finished coaching Team Sudden with LeBron James in Houston at the Sprite Uncontainable Game that kicked off All-Star weekend.

The "Basketball Wives" have skipped over to the UK for London Fashion Week.  And the cast of seaosn 5 was spotted taking in the shows today.  Pics inside..

Looks like all the girls are getting along--for now--on this seaosn of "Basketball Wives."  Suzie Ketcham, Tami Roman, Shaunie O'Neal, newbie Tasha Marbury and Evelyn Lozada all left Miami for the cooler skies of London to see what's hitting the runways for Fashion Week.  And they were spotted looking fab in the city (above) right before walking into the shows today.

Yesterday, Ev showed off her outfit of the day with her daughter, Shaniece, who tagged along as well.

And the ladies took in the shows over the weekend as well.

Tasha Marbury, Stephen Marbuy's wife, tweeted about her hot Alexander McQueen blazer.  Nice.

But all the niceties don't occur all of the time.  Tami said in a recent interview that this season will show more positive aspects of their lives, but she's got a new beef with co-star Shaunie:

 

"I have always been a person that is going to speak my mind and say exactly how I feel. For the first time, I actually have a little to say to Ms. Shaunie O'Neal…So, that's going to be quite interesting for the people to see."

“This time around we decided to present more of a balance. I mean you’re going to get all of the drama. You’re going to have what we’re known for, everybody not getting along. We’re going to have those moments, but I think it was important to show me as a mother; to show me as an actress; to show me as a spokesperson; to show me really living my real life, because my life doesn’t revolve around Evelyn, Shaunie and whoever else may be on the show. We wanted to have a little more balance,” she said.

You may have heard that some "groupie" sent around a letter today claiming that she's sexing Gabrielle Union's man,Dwyane Wade.  We received her letter as well and decided not to engage in that drama since more than a few factors from the letter didn't check out upon further investigation; however, Gabrielle Union did post her own response to the nonsense.

Gabby's "flying above" the haters like Kandi Burruss would say.  And we'll all being watching her "Being Mary Jane" when it drops later this season.

P.S. Gabby Instagrammed a pic of her boo helping her out with her lines today in between takes of his Gatorade commercial.  Well isn't that sweet.
